Automate moving tracks through JDI's CMS

I would like to automate moving tracks through the JDI CMS (Change Mangement Service Transport Studio.) Does anyone know if there is any documentation available to set this up?

yes there is a possibility and I will hopefully write a blog about it soon.
But here is the short version:
Try the cmstool which is a commandline tool for the CMS. It is found in the eclipse/tools directory of your SAP NW Studio IDE and it comes with a readme how to use it.
With the tool you can import to any queue, assemble, approve etc. I use it in my nightly build scripts. (I use SP14 but it is still a bit buggy)

Junk mail not automatically moved to Junk folder

Hello.
I'm using an IMAP account and have configured Mail to move junk mail to the chosen junk mail folder (junk is not filtered on the server but on my client). Since the junk mail filter is still learning sometimes junk mail is not detected and still goes to the inbox. That's okay.
If I then select that message it is somehow miraculously detected and marked as junk. However, it is not automatically moved to the junk folder but remains in the inbox marked as junk?
Is this desired behaviour? Why is the mail not automatically moved to the junk folder, like it is when I manually mark a mail as junk?

I just happened to notice that even mail that is automatically marked as spam/junk remains in my inbox. So I open the inbox folder and there is message that is marked as junk. Only when I manually reset and set the junk status is the message moved to the junk folder.
This seems to be the case in an IMAP acount where all folders (sent, drafts, spam, etc.) are subfolders of the actual inbox folder.
Is anyone else experiencing this behaviour?

iCloud email supports 'plus' addressing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_address#Address_tags
So your friend could just add '+research' to the username part of your email address, and you setup a rule at icloud.com to put all emails sent to that address into a particular folder.
For example:
[email protected]
There's no way to do it without rules on the server though.

Automatic payment run through F110

Hi Everyone,
During the aotumatic payment run via F110, after creating the proposals when i am trying to display the proposal, it is giving an error message that " Company Code XY12 / XY12 does not appearin proposal 08.07.2011 AB00; correct "
But I already set company code XY12 , in the company code in the parameter tab. I ahve also set there payment methods and next payment date. Please help.

Emails are automatically moved to Recover deleted Items folder

Hi,
We have a user and he is receiving his emails in Inbox but after few seconds it will be automatically moved to Recover Deleted Items. We checked his Outlook and also in OWA and we couldn't see any rule. Even though I ran /cleanrules switch but still
same problem exists. Any suggesstion to resolve this issue? Thanks

By "Recover Deleted Items folder", do you mean the Deleted Items folder or
Recover Deleted Items dialog when clicking Folder tab >
Recover Deleted Items button?
I'd like to confirm if all the received messages don’t disappear directly but still only stay in your mailbox for a short period of time before they disappeared?
Which version of Outlook are you using? Do you have the default delivery location of your mailbox set to a PST file?
In addition, some problematic add-in may also cause such issue, especially the virus scanner add-in that integrate with Outlook. If you have such add-in installed, I'd recommend you contact the vendor of the antivirus, ask them how to uninstall the
add-in or change the settings to ignore Outlook emails when scanning.

Automatic character tracking in Illustrator CS4

based on [1], it looks like there is no solution but I want to make sure. Let's say I have to lines as follows:

where "author" is in a 20 pt Arial font and "long title" in a 10 pt Minion font.
Is there an automatic character tracking solution in Illustrator so that "author" and "long title" exactly horizontally line-up?

So easy to do in PS AE etc, but a real mystery in PP...
And is it possible to insert a track?

But that is ridiculous. Moving tracks or layers is standard practice in so much other software.
I assume you're talking about software like After Effects or Photoshop, which contain "layers" and not "tracks" in the way that Premiere Pro, and any other editor for that matter, have them . Perhaps it's a semantic difference, but it's an important one: in Adobe software, a "layer" contains one and only one footage item or graphical element, whereas a "track" can contain one or more footage items or graphical elements. In After Effects, you HAVE to seperate footage items by both time (X-axis) and stacking order (Y-axis)--that's simply how it works. However, with Premiere, you only necessarily have to seperate footage items by time (X-axis)--if you can do everything on one track, so be it.
If you were able to drag tracks up and down in the stacking order (Y-axis), you may be able to achieve the layering effect you want at a certain point in time in your sequence, but you would also change the stacking order for the entire duration of the sequence. This may be what you want, or what you don't want, but I would submit that most people would never need this kind of functionality. How often does one need to completely rearrange the stacking order of an entire sequence? I know that I never need this; it's only small portions of time where I need to rearrange items on the Y-axis. I just think this capability would be so rarely needed that there is no point adding it; it could potentially cause more trouble than good.
I'm currently working on something that has (at its peak) five small windows with different clips with lots of edits running with their own effects. At times I've wanted to reprioritise a track (to put it above another) so just draggng a track up would have been a quick way of doing it.
You might consider nesting each track (or track segment) in its own sequence, so at least you're only dragging one element up and down, instead of multiple small clips. Just add one empty track to serve as a temporary landing zone, that you can move an individual nest into, and then continue to reshuffle until you get the order you want. I realize this isn't what you really want, but it's the best workaround I can think of.
How disappointing - and a shame the project is too long for AE!
Why is it too long for AE? After Effects has something like a 3 or 4-hour limit to a comp, which I imagine would be pretty difficult for most people to exceed. It would be a bit of a pain to manage, I suppose, but you could do it.
Alternately, if you've got the suite and therefore Dynamic Link, just select the clips in the section of timeline you're trying to work with, and select Replace with After Effects Composition. That chunk of timeline will be sent to AE and the clips will be stacked as individual layers in the same order they're in in the PPro sequence. From there, you can organize and reorganize things to your heart's content, and that will be reflected in your PPro sequence. You may want to consider creating nested sequences in PPro first, because those will be recreated in your AE comp as nested precomps. Might make layer management a bit more friendly.

Transport of PCD and Content objects through JDI.

Hi Kishroe,
First, there is no supported, out of the box way to handle content objects in the JDI (now NWDI- NetWeaver Development Infrastructure) With that said, since it is a repository you could export your content package. Make it a zip file or something like that and add it to the repository.
Again, I believe this is theoretically possible. I'm sure some of the other SDN members can provide an automated approach to do this.

New install on Windows 8. 2 accounts. Thunderbird is automatically moving all mail from 1 account to the other. How do I stop it?

Stock Windows 8 Updated, no add ons.
New clean install of Thunderbird 24.3.0
2 mail accounts. 1 x gmail, l x Yahoo.
All new mail into the yahoo inbox gets automatically moved into the inbox of the gmail account.
The two accounts have no other connection.
Both accounts use IMAP with the automatic settings applied.
How can I stop this?

My first thought is to check your message filters on each account. Tools > Message Filters
2nd thought is to check your yahoo settings via your browser and see if mail forwarding is enabled.
Turn on the location column (see attached image) and see if they are actually in the apparent folder.
Possible that your gmail inbox is being used as a "unified inbox"?

Automatic import process through shell script

I have many export dump files in one directory exported from different schemas and different databases.
I have to import them in different schemas in a single database.Ofcourse, I can manually import each file but to avod tedious work,i want to automate the task.I want linux do it for me.I wrote the below script but it works only for the first time.

What else should i include in the script os that automatically oracle navigates through every dump file and import the database in the respective schema?

Before trying a solution I have to understand something more...
Are your dump file names <schema name>.dmp, e.g. user1.dmp, user2.dmp and so on, and you want to import into those schemas ? If so, is "fromuser=test" correct ? If not so, please clarify.
And why "basename" ?

FILES IN BOUNCES FOLDER IS AUTOMATICALLY MOVED TO AUDIO FILES

EVERYTIME I QUIT LOGIC 8, ALL THE FILES IN MY BOUNCES FOLDER IS AUTOMATICALLY MOVED TO AUDIO FILES FOLDER. THIS DO NOT HAPPEN WHEN I'M USING LOGIC 7. WHAT SEEMS TO BE THE PROBLEM?IT'S A LITTLE BIT CONFUSING....WHEN YOU SAY BOUNCE, IT SHOULD BE IN THE BOUNCES FOLDER. I ALSO NOTICED THAT WHILE YOU'RE STILL WORKING ON A PROJECT, YOU'LL STILL SEE THE FILES THAT YOU BOUNCED IN THE BOUNCES FOLDER. BUT WHEN YOU QUIT, MY BOUNCES FOLDER WILL BE EMPTY. Just another annoying, useless change from the way it's been up till now, AFAIC. In L6/7, bounces went and stayed in the bounces folder. Why is Logic taking it upon itself to move your files to a place other than the one you specified? I agree with Mr. ShoutMyHeadOff, put it back the way it was. And Jay, sorry to take issue with you twice in 3 days, but it's not the expected behaviour at all. Ever since bouncing was included in Logic, bounces have gone in the bounces folder (seems pretty logical) and stayed there unless you choose to move them. I have years upon years of projects where, if i want to find the final mixes or any rough mix i did at any point during the project, i look in the bounces folder - it was really simple. Now all those files get thrown in and mixed up with every other audio file? Tell me, who exactly does that benefit?

Coldfusion automatically restarted - tracking the cause

Coldfusion is automatically restarting, a lot. It comes in waves, everything seems fine for a while then the server struggles for a few minutes, restarts a lot then settles down again.
I have Fusion Reactor installed, but when CF goes down FR stops logging so it's not really helping. Looking through the archived logs just shows gaps in the logs.
These are all the occourances of the phrase "Coldfusion started" today.

I've been looking at the live server metrics in FR on a second screen all day, the CPU, Memory and requests all seemed fine about 12 midday, then the server rebooted.
Looking at the logs for the hour between 9am and 10am (more than 15 restarts in the hour), the CPU never went over 44% usage and the Memory never exceeded 53% usage - in the recorded stats at least.
There is no JDBC tracking at the moment, so I'll add that to tracking and see if it's MySQL causing a problem, but can anyone help me narrow down the problem, what would cause Cold Fusion to auto restart, and I'm assuming the auto restart is only happening because Fusion Reactor is installed.
It's a Red Hat 5 LAMP stack running Coldfusion 9 and Fusion Reactor 4.5.2

I don't have a cfusion-out.log file in {CF_INSTALLATION_DIR}/runtime/logs, but I do have coldfusion-event.log (and archived version).
How much of the logs should I paste up, they're obviously all huge?
There is nothing in the application.log after 3:26 this morning, the server rebooted at 06:28 and at 09:15 so I can't see application.log having anything useful

Making iTunes automatically change track info of playlists

Hello all,
I'd like to know if there is a way to automatically change song info of all the tracks in a specific playlist.
More specifically, I'd like to know how to make itunes automatically change the Grouping of songs as I add or remove them from any given playlist.
Ultimately, what I'd like to be able to do is see which songs are set to sync with my iPhone and which aren't when I'm looking through my entire music library.
Maybe there's a solution using Automator or Applescripts. I tried using smart playlists, but those seem to only be able to populate a playlist based on track info, which is the opposite of what I want to do.

I suspect iTunes is revealing "corrections" made by Windows Media Player. If so the damage is done and you'll probably find other tracks have been affected over time.
See my post on Getting iTunes & Windows Media Player to play nicely. Most importantly uncheck the WMP options as displayed in the final image.
