Automate to sequence without transitions?

I am using stills in a bin and I rearrange the order of them and then use automate to sequence though it keeps adding transitions between the images, and maybe I'm missing the option to turn this off, though I do not see it. Working in cs6, thanks in advance.

Audio tracks missing when doing automate to sequence.

Using PMW200 with 4 audio tracks. When dragging single file to timeline I get the 4 audio tracks. But when I do an automate to sequence, I only get 1 audio track, plus, the default audio transition is not going on.
I have all the tracks highlighted and have ticked apply audio and video transitions.
Any idea where I'm going wrong? Thanks

Hi Kevin. I uploaded a clip onto you tube for you to try, but you tube mixed the audio tracks so it was useless.
Basically, drag any video clip with 4 audio tracks recorded from camera onto timeline in cs6, and all audio tracks appear on the timeline. But automate several similar tracks to timeline and only one audio track gets added. The other 3 do not appear. Is there a work around for this, rather than dragging all on one at a time.

When you select clips that contain 4 audio tracks, to apply "automate to sequence", only track 1 is added to the timeline. Please, can you fix?

I think it is important to resolve this because I used to put multiple clips on the timeline, with the overlay option "x" frames and apply audio transition.

Automatic Payment run without Bank Ranking order

Dear Experts,
I want to excute the Automatic Payment run without assigning the Bank ranking order in OBVCU, means that when I run the APP it should pay from the House Bank entered in the Vendor master data under the Automatic payment transactions. In my case House Bank is the Bank Account.
Details of the data in Vendor master are;
Payment methods: C
House Bank: Given
Details of BVCU are;
Ranking Order: Not entered
Bank Accounts: Entered
Available Amounts: Entered
When I execute the APP, it puts the payment in exception list in the proposal.

As per my understaning there will be no impact . Vendor Master data always have priority.
so maintain ranking order and vendor master also woth aprropriate House Bank and Account ID

Pictures not showing up without transition?

I am currently trying to use iMovie HD 6.0.3 to make a slide show/movie of pictures and whatnot. I have used iMovie before, so have successfully made movies in the past. However, when trying to have certain pictures line up with the music correctly I don't use transitions in order to have them appear suddenly and with no fade-in/fade-out or anything. Without the transitions the picture doesn't appear until the bar is hovering over the picture after it, which makes timing almost impossible.
I was able to successfully do this on an older version a few years ago, a copy of which I still have on my newer computer. When I opened it, the effect does the same thing, only it didn't previously. I have a disc copy too, so I know I could have pictures appear without transitions in the past.
Is this a known problem or am I doing something wrong?

and the solution probably is the same. The problem has been known to manifest upon upgrade to Quicktime 7.6.6. The solution found to have worked by other posters is to revert back to Quicktime 7.6.4 as described in the above thread.

Automate to Sequence - Set To Unnumbered Markers

I'm using Premier Pro CS3 on a Windows XP machine. I've found that if I select the "Sequentially" Placement Option under "Automate to Sequence" the other option (Set to Unnumbered Markers)in the drop-down box completely disappears (not just grayed out but gone from the program). It doesn't re-appear with a re-boot. The only way to get it to come back is to first, find the Adobe Preferences file buried deep under the users tree and then delete it. I've had to do this several times and it works. I've recently installed CS3 on a brand new workstation (the one described above) and the problem has continued, a new problem is, now I can't locate the Adobe Preferences file anywhere on the machine so I'm unable to delete it.
Is this a problem that Adobe is 1)aware of, and 2)working on.
Are there any work-arounds?
I use/need the "Set to Unnumbered Markers" frequently and hate wasting time chasing the rabbit when it runs away.

I just found that out the hard way trying to troubleshoot someone's problems on the phone.
Seems you have to locate the ...\Adobe\Premiere Pro\3.0 folder in your user area and delete/change the name of the 3.0 folder nowadays to restart the many individual files that hold all the preferences nowadays.
Looks like a useful folder to which to create a shortcut on the desktop to save having to keep looking for it if you have problems.
For Tom: I guess it's the same with CS3, but with earlier versions the Preferences files were not replaced by a re-install of the program (nor deleted by the uninstall). Logic being that they are created if not there - so if they are there already the old ones are re-used. So you do need to deal with the preferences files to sort corruptions to the user interface or whatever, and a reinstall is unlikely to fix the problem.

Im working on a project with some heavy boris effects stuff... SLOW SLOW rendering.. The entire sequence is already rendered.. but when I go to export the sequence as a QT movies.. using the current settings.. it wants to rerender the **** thing.. 4+ hours.. instead of just spitting out a QT built with the ALREADY rendered sequences.. The timeline is 1080i XDCAM. The sequences is only 5 minutes long.. So it should export in a matter of minutes if it didnt want to RERENDER EVERYTHING..
This is killing me right now..

Lets start at the bottom and work back ....
What is your target format? You want to export the sequence but for what purpose? Is it for broadcast delivery, for burning to DVD, for web, or ....?
You note that the timeline is 1080i XDCAM ... well that is a native Long GOP format. When you export it as a single self contained clip then all those GOP structures that make up the different elements of your sequenvce must be broken down and re-conformed into a singole semaless GOP structure that describes the whole. Thats why it is re-rendering.
And GOP's are a hog to decode and encode ... thats why you're seeing such SLOW SLOW rendering.
Suggestion number 1) Set your sequence's Render codec to ProRes 422 ... th erender files will be bigger but they rendering itself will be much faster.
Suggestion number 2) If you are not exporting back to XDCAM media specifically then there is no real reason to export your edit as XDCAM HD. Try exporting as ProRes 422 (as per the render setting) ie choose Export > Quicktime Movie w/ Setting: Apple ProRes 422 (+not Current Settings+)
Suggestion number 3) If you are working on a big and powerful mac like the latest and greatest MacPro's, then in future just set your sequence codec to ProRes 422 and edit the XDCAM files directly in that ProRes 422 timeline, when done then Export > Quicktime Movie w/ Current Settings

What have you tired so far? Color correction can be a bit of a challenge until you get comfortable with it.
Also, unless your sequence is one uniform scene, it would probably be better to go on a clip by clip basis to make these adjustments - but here is one quick way to do it for the whole sequence, which may or may not give you the results you are looking for:
Apply an Adjustment Layer that covers the duration of your sequence.
Apply the Fast Color Corrector to the Adjustment Layer.
In the settings for the Fast Color Corrector, bring up the Input Gray level a bit (this will lighten the scene) and raise the Input Black Level (this will help restore some of the contrast). If you need to make the bright portions of the scene brighter, bring down the Input White Level.
Go slowly with small adjustments and adjust to taste. You'll need to work back and forth on those controls to get the best compromise.
If you want more color, increase the Saturation a small amount.

Subclips - Automate to Sequence: Ignores Subclip Length

My Research didn't find any answers to my problem:
Dragging and Dropping Subclips to the Sequence works as expected: Only the (shortened) length of the Subclip is dragged on the Timeline.
By Using "Automate to Sequence" the length of the original Clip (much longer) is dropped on the Timeline.
Is this by Design? I expected the same behaviour like dragging and dropping. With this behaviour its impossible to create quick rough cuts when you have Subclips in the project.
Any ideas?

Workaround for me: The length of the SubClip is not ignored if you check the "Restrict Trims To Subclip Boundaries" at the Subclip Properties at the time you use the "Automate to Sequence" Function.
If you had to trim/extend the SubClip Boundaries afterwards, you have to uncheck the option for every subclip you used. So this really just i a workaround in my opinion.
So is this an issue for a bug report?

Audio track does not appear using Automate To Sequence

When I use the Automate to Sequence feature after arranging clips in a Bin, none of the associated audio files show up in Audio 1 but the video clips do show up in Video 1. When I do this on other computers it works fine. (This is a classroom setting.)

Problem exporting slideshows without transitions

I've been trying to export slideshows (really QT movies) from iPhoto 11 (9.5) without transition effects. In other words, I just want to export the raw movie file as captured. In the slideshow settings, I cannot access "transitions," although the check box is not checked anyway. Every movie I export, however, includes a fade out at the end, which I definitely do not want. The other check boxes are working as they are meant to.
I'm using an iMac 2.9 GHz Intel i5, running Mavericks. Both iPhoto and Mavericks have been updated to the latest version. Anyone else having this problem? If so, any suggestions how to overcome it?

I don't beleive you can avoid the fade out, so I would add a black jpeg on the end of the slideshow so your last shot isn't faded.

Automate to sequence - not on lowest track

When I import a composition to Premiere Pro it seems the only way to move it to the timeline is to "automate to sequence". My issue is, the Automate to Sequence automatically drops it on the lowest video track number no matter what track I have selected. Any way to change this?

By design, Automate to Sequence will target the lowest available video and audio tracks. You could lock the tracks you do not want it to automate to. e.g.: if you wanted to automate to track 3, then you would lock tracks 1 & 2. Hope this helps.
