Automated Batch Overide Save As not working

I have created an action in CS4 that includes a Save for Web at that end. When I try to run an Automated Batch and change the save folder location using the overide check box and selecting the new forlder, the batch run still saves to folder specified in the action. There is no overide.

The commands in the batch dialog for override save as and renaming don't apply to
export plugins, which is what save for web is.
You can make it work by setting the folder you want to save the images to when you
use save for web (the folder you choose when using save for web to record the action)
Then add a Close without saving step at the end of the action.
In the batch dialog set the Source folder and set none under Destination.
(the images will open, run the action and close one at a time)
Added: An easier way would be to use the Picture Processor script which has a save for web option.
Then you wouldn't need the save for web or close steps in your action.

Toshiba Power Saver is only for XP installations, you can't install the XP Drivers (and most Vista Drivers) in Windows 7.
Make sure all your drivers are for the A660, and make sure they are for Windows 7.

Hot corners enabling screen saver/ ss not working; restart they're working

Hi, for no discernable reason, my hot corners which are set to start secreen saver were not working; neither it seemed was my screen saver turning on. My computer seemed simply to be going to sleep from the screen image of the desktop without benefit of having gone through the screen saver cycle first. I ran disk utility and verified permissions. Then I did the old pc trick of rebooting the computer. That seemed to have done it. My hot corners are working the way they were set up to function. Por Que? Why is my PB G4 behaving like a PC?

Had the same problem and here's what worked for me:
Navigate to System Preferences/Desktop & Screen Saver/ and click the Hot Corners button.
I generally set the bottom left corner to Start Screen Saver, with all of the other corners set to minus. I temporarily set the top left corner to Disable Screen Saver, and after moving the mouse pointer into that corner, I was then able to use my bottom left corner again to start my screen saver.
I put the top left corner back to minus.

Screen Saver does not work

My screen saver only works when no one is logged on. Otherwise, the screen saver never kicks in. I have a Toshiba Satellite M305-S4848.

I just lost some work after shutting down and restarting the program.

Im a little bit confused about your posting First you write about Power Saver and then about green icon Which one you mean exactly and whats the problem?
If you mean Eco mode you have to install Eco Utility from official Toshiba website.

After installing lion, my screen saver does not work

I installed lion, now my screen saver does not work. I have tried all the hot corners, nothing. Dashboard and mission control work fine but cannot start screen saver.
Any thoughts on what might be wrong.

Auto save is not working

There is some problem after upgrade to Lion, Auto save version is not working in Iwork and anyone can fix it please advised. T.T

I have experienced projects not being auto save back-uped, and linked that to file structure problems (like I moved the project from the folder where it originally was created, or I changed the folders name where the Pr project was residing after starting it. I think that these things can lead the Auto-Save to get confused sometimes. This can also happen in Ae as well.
I have gotten used to making a duplicate of the project every day or at junctures of major change in the finder. The Mac finder duplicates the project file with the added word "copy" so I know that it isn't the original project file. I then add the date and time to the end of the file name _yymmdd_hh and send a copy to another drive.
It's too bad that there is no option in Pr to have it save the Auto-Saves to different drive than where the original is.
I also use a droplet created with a Mac renaming utility called "Name Mangler". Here is the macro for the advanced area of the re-namer in case anyone is interested.

I just drop the project file onto the droplet and it gets appended with its modification date.

My screen saver is not working on my desktop after a power outage. It is set for 15 minutes but does not come on.

I had a power outage. when the power came back, my screen saver does not come on after the set 15 min. Every thing seems fine. How do I get it to start working again?

Message.saver is not working under 10.6 - anybody know of an alternative?

Message.saver 1.5.2 (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/icons_screensavers/message.html ) is not working under 10.6. It is a screensaver that allows you to put a text on the screen as the saver kicks in. IMHO a excellent piece of software that worked fine under 10.5 but not under 10.6.
Does anybody know if there is something like it? and that works under 10.6?

Xcelsius save button not working

Power Saver utility not working/can not uninstall

When I trying to start Power Saver from the control panel, it writes something like:
"Power Saver is nor running. Please first set Power Saver as a default power control scheme in power management".
But power saver is already set as my power control scheme.
I tryed to reinstall Power Saver (downloaded from Toshiba site), but it writes "fatal error while uninstalling previous version".
The manual start of the uninstallation give me the same error.
I found that I can delete deinstallation protocol of Power Saver.
After doing so the new version was installed without problems, but still not working. The same error:
"Power Saver is nor running. Please first set Power Saver as a default power control scheme in power management".

1) There is no "Power saver" power scheme in the power setup
2) When I'm trying to start Power Saver from the Control Panel, I get the following error: "Can not open, because you have no access to "TOSHIBA Power Saver" utility".

Save As not working Reader 9 / 9.1

I'm trying to save a document opened from the internet as a copy to my harddisk, but for some reason it does not work if I click on the Save As Copy button or using the File-->Save As menu.
This occurred after I installed Reader 9.1. I'm using Vista with IE 7.

I'm having the exact same problem when I try to save my credit card statements. But only on certain statements! I click on the link and the PDF file opens in a new tab (IE8). The Reader pulldown menus don't appear, so I can't choose File/Save (or Help), but when I click on the "save a copy" icon (the little diskette), NOTHING HAPPENS! No error message, nothing. (I haven't tried the print icon.) I've searched for the default name of the file, in case AR might be bypassing the save as window that normally pops up and saving it somewhere under the default name, but it's not found.
Right-clicking on the links doesn't work--"save target as" is grayed out. But this is true for all the links, whether they can be saved with AR or not.
As I say, this only happens on certain files. My June and July statements, for example, save fine (clicking on the save icon brings up the usual save as window). But not the May or August statements. There's no rhyme or reason to it. The links all appear together on the same page.
This only became a problem with my new computer, running Windows 7 and AR 9.1. In addition, the copies of the same files saved earlier to my HDD (using XP and an earlier version--I think--of AR) all save fine when I re-open them now with AR 9.1. It's only a problem when AR is launched by IE after I click on the link to the document. I can't see any difference between the documents (saved earlier) when I view their properties. I can't view the properties of the online documents because the pulldown menus don't appear when AR is launched by IE (which is a nuisance, BTW--is there some way to force them to appear?).
Any suggestions for a workaround until this bug is fixed would be much appreciated!

.svgz web preview in save options not working

I'm a longtime Photoshop / After Effects type with rather less experience in Illustrator, using a newly built PC system
I've just gone to save a diagram created in Illustrator as a .svgz in order to pass to the web guy, but wanted to preview it first, so hit the Web Preview button in the Save dialogue box.... and nothing happens. I have several browser windows opn - IE9 64bit, Chrome - but the svgz appears in none of them
I presumed maybe I need to link Illustrator to a particular web browser somehow, but can't seem to find reference to how to do this, if it is necessary...
How do I get the web preview to happen?

I'm using Illustrator CS5 on Win 7 64 bit, and I cannot get Web Preview to work when suning Export, and exporting a file to Flash swf with frames. I have IE set on the Save for Web option, but no such option exists in the Export dialogue box. This option worked fine for the teacher in the help video that shows how to animate a snowboarder graphic when exporting to svf, but I cannot find anything dealing with this in the forums. Are you aware of why this is not working and how to implement it?

User WF-BATCH and BAPI_PO_RELEASE does not work without printer assigned

Hello Gurus,
The function BAPI_PO_RELEASE is used in our PO approval workflow, but this one does not work till the user WF_BATCH has no printer defined in USR01-SPLD. This is a strange behavior because the output message assigned to the PO has a message transmission medium equals to 5 (External send) => not print.
Does someone have already met the same issue?
How this could be solved without assigning a default printer to user WF_BATCH?

Hello Tison,
we're using also the WF-BATCH user having no default printer assigned and it works fine with the final release.
However, there's usually the output message NEU with a prerequesite maintained that the PO has to be finally released. So this way there can be an additional output message found upon releasing. But we have a printer assigned using the condition records and we're not using the type that you've specified.
So I'd guess that, indeed, the problem lies within the message. You could copy the WF-BATCH user to a dialog user and release the purchase order in dialog and see what happends.
