Automated message - RIM...

Please help - I keep getting the same automated message subject: RIM _bca....."This message is used to carry data between the Blackberry handheld and an associated server. Please do not delete, move or respond to this message - it will be processed by the server."
I get this message about 90 times per day!!!! Is there anything I can do to stop it???

Hey Everyone,
I have a 16GB iPhone 3G, and I recently I contacted AT&T regarding problems I was having with the recently deployed Free Wi-Fi service at AT&T hotspots. The problem was resolved, but in the process AT&T reset my voicemail account. Since then, every time someone calls me, they hear my custom outgoing voicemail message, followed by the dreaded automated message, "At the tone, please record your message. When you are finished recording, you may hang up or press 1 for more options." One of my favorite things about the iPhone's visual voicemail was that it cut through all this type of excess! In an effort to resolve this (it was never like the before and I know I don't get the automated message when I call my friends who have iPhones), I called Apple Tech Support. They told me there to call the number 1-800-331-0500, and simply reset my pass code, and that this would fix it. Feeling relieved, I followed their instructions, but to no avail. I called AT&T and was told that "This is a new feature that AT&T has added to their voicemail service" and that "Anyone who has their voicemail reset would now have this new feature added to their voicemail." I was told there is no way to disable it! Is this in fact the case? Am I now stuck with this new "feature"? If anyone knows how to get rid of this, please let me know! If anyone from Apple is reading this, can you PLEASE see if anything can be done about removing this extremely annoying "feature" from iPhone voicemail? Thanks very much!

Hi David,
On your iPhone, when you press Phone> Voicemail, does it Call standard voicemail or show Visual Voicemail?
It sounds like this issue would be resolved by contacting AT&T again.

Not receiving automated messages correctly for Droid

Is there a current problem with Droid not receiving automated messages correctly from short 5 digits numbers for example my dentist office sends out reminders for my appointments and they are not sending correctly I have included an example below of what it looks like below. You will see that there no message. I have put the message below of what I should have received from my dentist. Is this something that can be fixed. Becasue I know that majority of ourpatients have Droids has it is a very popular phone and we are getting numerous complaints!

Well what's also weird is I'll send/receive other sms messages and there won't be any problems. But then, out of no where, my phone will get sms messages that are a few days old. I move around plenty in my area for work or other reasons so it's not like I stay in one location all the time. Also, I have Verizon and they have great coverage in my area anyway.

Possible, but you need to develop adapter module for this.
It looks like a prologxmlepilog, but in your case, they are the ones sending. Where is the XML payload in the structure that you provided?
You can re-escape the characters using java mapping. For example, find %3C and replace with < . Here is the complete list of URL escape characters http://www.december.com/html/spec/esccodes.html

Automated messages from Apple in a language I do not speak

Hi Everyone!
For two weeks now everytime I connect to iCloud from any of my iOS devices, I get an automated message from Apple saying that I connected to iCloud using that specific device. The problem is that the message comes in French! Who can help me have Apple use English to communicate with me again????
All my settings in my devices and iCloud have the language set for English.

I am getting the following automated message when I send outbound emails from my 8830 Blackberry:

Is it possible to send an automated message to answer when you can't put yours hand on your phone ?

Read this now : I would like to have an answering machine for my Message app, meaning I'd love if Messages could just answer back to any incoming message when I'm just not able to message back (i.e. : I don't have my phone with me, I'm working and not able to use my phone, etc.).
Maybe this is already possible ? Is it ?

I know there's a feature that allows you to send a message batck to a caller when you can't answer, but, 1) you have to do something and 2) it's not automated...

Oops! I hit "Correct Answer" thinking that I could edit my last reply! That wasn't the correct answer, obviously!
iTunes has replied to me and told me that I cannot download any artwork outside of the USA, so I guess that answers my question, even though it's not what I'd wished to hear.

Automated message about enhanced or premium texts

I have the Family Share 1400 plan with unlimited texting. I have blocked, through MyVerizon any type of messaging, web access or anything which would incur a charge. This includes premium messaging, sms (whatever that is), enhanced messaging and the like. I routinely text both of my daughters. One of them is a verizon customer and one is not. Lately, at random times, and certainly not every time, I receive what I suppose is an automated text message from Verizon which says (I just deleted my inbox this morning, so I will try to paraphrase, since I do not remember it verbatim) that text messages such as (the one I just sent) cannot be received by the number I sent it to. This happens almost immediately after sending and although it seems to take a little longer for a response, it does get received. This morning it happened when my daughter (verizon) and I were having a conversation via text. Plain text messages, no pictures or anything else. We had already exchanged 8 or 10 messages, when suddenly I received a reply very quickly after pushing send. She is fast, but not that fast and sure enough it was that message again. Then maybe 5 or 10 minutes later, I received the expected normal response from her. I do not know what, if anything, she sees on her end of the conversation that is out of the ordinary.
Any ideas what this might mean?

I am having problems with an update. I spoke with Prabhudev on 9/27. He was unable to resolve my problem and referred me to call 800-833-6687. When I call, I get an automated message that help is not available. What now?

My Mac tells me there is an update for Photoshop CS5, the Camera Raw 6.7 update. It downloads, installs, then gives me an error message that the installation failed, error code U44M1P7, and advises contacting Customer Support. I did so. On 9/27 I chatted with Prabhudev. He referred me to a link to download the update. I did the download and tried to install. I got an error message - "Error - “AdobePatchInstaller.app” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the Mac App Store and identified developers.“AdobePatchInstaller.app” is on the disk image “AdobeCameraRaw-6.7-mul-AdobeUpdate.dmg”. Safari downloaded this disk image today at 12:54 PM from www.adobe.com" He then said

That number gets me to a recording that tells me that phone support is not available.
I can open and use Photoshop, but whenever I check for updates for my computer, this same update comes up, gets downloaded, and fails to install. I want to either get rid of the update message or get the update installed. Can anyone help?

Further info - I changed my security settings to allow apps from anywhere, and again tried to install. I again got an error message
that the update failed to install, and to contact Customer Support.

Add an automated message to email to say it is now closed and redirect sender to another email

I have now resigned as a parish clerk and I need to redirect incoming emails to the new clerk. I want to put a message on my email address to say that messages will not be checked and read and that the sender should redirect their emails to the new address which I will add to the message. By using Trigger, you will send the alert message to users.
Types of Trigger:
There are two types of triggers: on-update triggers and after-update triggers.
On-update triggers are activated during the update process, when the block containing the data referenced by the trigger is brought into memory.
After-update triggers are activated after the update transaction is complete.
Note: On-update triggers are supported only on block storage databases.

RIM.DESKTOP.AUTOUPDATE.EXE - BAD IMAGE ERROR MESSAGE

I use a Dell Inspiron laptop with Vista OS. For no apparent reason that I can determine, when I try to open DTM v6.0.2.44, I get the following error message, "Rim.Desktop.exe - Bad Image". After closing this error message, a second error comes up, "Rim.Desktop.Autoupdate.exe - Bad Image" .And after closing the latter, a 3rd error message comes up, "Rim.Transcoder.exe - Bad Image". Finally, I get a repeat of "Rim.Desktop.Autoupdate.exe - Bad Image" and although it takes several tries to get rid of this error message, once I do, the DTM appears to work fine with Syncing and backing up my data. All other software works perfectly and without any error messages. Any ideas?

Automated Telephone Message 1/2/2009

Verizon FIOS called this morning with an automated message. My wife promptly hung up as we do for almost all automated messages. However, she said it was a message re a "patch or something". Is there anyone that might be able to tell me what the message may have been. I am in VOH13 (Edmonds, WA) and I have the Triple Freedom package.
Thanks if you can help. I tried to call and find out but I couldn't wait long enough for someone to answer.

Yep, definitely a glitch with Bubbles. Though I have also noted that once you begin playing the game and tap Play on the music player, if you turn the game sounds off, the music continues to play uninterrupted in the background while you play the game.
I don't have much else in games, but neither Tic-Tac-Toe or Yahtzee are causing the same problem for me.
p.s. email notification is working just fine
