Automatic Appearing of Message type if any changes occur wrto PO

Hi All,
I have created a print out Message type and assigned to some PO Doc type, if we go and see in the creation message type the new created msg type is appearing.
My question is,
I want this msg type need to be appear automatically once the Po is created(Ie., after if we go and see in ME22N it should appear) or if we done any changes it should come automatically.
Can anyone help me on this.

Hi,
Check if your message type has the operation "2" (Change) on the "Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order" customizing.
Custom path: Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages -> Output Control -> Message Types -> Define Message Types for Purchase Order. Choose "Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order". (mu version: ECC600)

Had a similar requirement few days back..
What we did was to do a multimapping of 1:N where N = N1 and N2, N1 is the Idocs which you are doing today, N2 is the set of invalid records...
Now we have written this as a file and then created another interface which will pick the file and based on the name of file we decided the To address. We have used mail package and this interface (file to mail ) was made as a generic one so that it can be used across many interfaces...
filename and To address relationship was maintained as a value mapping in ID... You can have a thought of this approach and try to send the invalid records as a mail rather than alert.

Hi,
You have to maintain the CONDITION RECORDS for the WE01 output type
Goto the Transaction code NACE and click on the APPLICATION ME and click on the OUTPUT types in the MENU BAR
select the OUTPUT type WE01 and assign the SMARTFORMS & PRINT PROGRAMS to the output
Now assign this outpt to the OUTPUT determination procedure and
Maintain the condition records for the OUTPUT
Once you maintain the CONDITION RECORDS , then automatically it will be triggered to the INBOUND DELIVERY, in VL032N
Please check them and let us know if you need any frther details

Automatically update table when database make any changes

I want to create one table in the database that table
but values get inserted into that table automatically when the database make any changes (i.e if you insert/update/delete any values in any table in the database)
how should i create this type of table into my oracle database

Why not simply enable audit? Then you can query SYS.AUD table to track inserts/updates/deletes and even selects. Other than that, you would have to create a trigger on every existing and newly created table.

Idoc Message type for Customer Change XD02

Hi All
As per the business requirement, we need to have inbound interface to ECC system, in which we will add more partner's to the existing customers.
I tried posting Idoc thorugh WE19 using message type DEBMAS and basic type DEBMAS06. It is creating the new partner which is part of the idoc but it behaves like a refresh, i mean the already existing partners are getting deleted.
Tried to find the relevant message type for XD02 but did not find other than DEBMAS.
Can anyone let me know how to acheive this.

Message type 1 unknown error occuring when clicked on IP workbook button

Hi,
I am working on authorization.
When i click on the save button in an IP workbook button, it throws the message "Message type 1 unknown" saying
that an error occured during communication with bw server, and its gets disconnected.
I have included authorization objects for the planning sequences, planning functions, process chains, also included tcodes for ADP ie rsanwb and tcodes
for ABAP programs. Still we are facing with the same problem.
Please suggest me the solution ASAP and points are awarded.

Change pointer for custom message type

Hi,
I have a situation where in, i need to create a custom message type and need to track the changes in the table fields using the Change pointer technique.
Can anybody guide me as to what are the step to be followed after i create the custom message type and how to register the fields of the message type ?
Note : Change document (CDPOS) technique is ruled out in my requirement.

I had linked idoc type and message type in we82. Now after i activate the change pointers. I try to generate the IDOC type using BD21. It gives me the error message :<b> "Message type ZP2PPROJ_MSG cannot be sent with change pointers"</b>
whereas in my segments i am using all the master data only (i.e. PRPS, PROJ,PRHI). Please throw some light on this.
Also please clarify, do i need to make an entry of this custome message type in the partner profile ?

How can I put a filter to message type COND_A

I am creating message types: COND_A from Change Pointer.
I have an active filter on element: Condition type. (BD64). This is working OK.
I also want to set the filter on element: Material type.
This is not working, probably because this element is not an active field in any delivered IDoc Segments. (Ref. WE05). The result is that no messages (IDoc's) are delivered.
How can I get this filter to work for COND_A?
In other words: How can I select on Material type = 'XXXX' creating message type COND_A from Change Pointer?

No, however, you can have Favorites and Recents show on the App Switcher (Multitasking) screen, assuming you are running iOS 8: Settings App > Mail,Contacts,Calendars > Show in App Switcher [under CONTACTS]

I have to generate IDOC for PO creation or change .
I am using IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDERS and IDOC_OUTPUT_ORDCHG.
The messagetype.idoctype I am using is ORDERS. ORDERS05 and ORDCHG. ORDERS05.
Now the confusion is regarding whether this message type will work in case of SUBCONTRACTING PURCHASE ORDER as well ?
As I have gone through some websites and came to know that I will have to use PORDCR1.PORDCR102 specially for subcontracting.
And programs we need to use is BUS2012_ICH_R3 instead of RSNASTED and Form Routine SEND_PORDCR1 instead of EDI_PROCESSING.

There is a generic function to create change pointers for all message typs - 'CHANGE_POINTERS_CREATE_DIRECT'. This is triggered only if you configure your message type to create change pointers from BD50.
Once you activate it do any change to orders you can see change pointer tables BDCPV filled. Then BD21 will read the changes and generated outbound idocs accordingly.

IDOC Message type 'ORDCHG' - Sales Order Delete funcanility

I have a requirement for a client where client is sending a EDI message to change & Delete a Sales order. I have mapped change option with IDOC message type 'ORDCHG' and basic message type 'ORDERS05'. Change option for the sales order is working fine.
Can any one tell me with message type 'ORDCHG'. how to delete a Sales Order. In EDI, client is passing only Header segments with Summary details.

Thanks a lot for sharing the link, but this dint solve my purpose. I have a different case all to geather.
My client is passing only Header segment and summary segment in the EDI. Thru ORDCHG i need to cancle/Delete entire sales order.
But i found that in standard IDOC Message type 'ORDCHG' only line item deletion/Cancle is availble but i wanted to delete/cancle entire sales document.
Any possibilites available in ORDCHG. Your reply will be much appreciated.

Variable initialized with wrong message type

I have a BPEL process variableA of Message type A as defined in the partnerlink WSDL file. This variable get initialized during operation A from the partnerlink. The WSDL has another message type B defined for another operation B.
During runtime when operation A is called variable A gets initialized with message type A, however when operation B is invoked with mesage type B variableA gets initialized again with the content of message type B even though it's defined to be of message type A. Looks like the destination which is used by your EG has default settings,
particulary the RedeliveryLimit param. If it is set to -1 (default setting)
WL will try to redeliver the message forever in case of any error. Just set
it to something else. You can also specify an ErrorDestination and hadle
error messages specifically in it.

server keeps throwing this exception and fills the logs and ultimately
server needs to be re-started.
Can somebody point me to whether its possible to catch these exceptions in
a process?
Or alternatively is it possible to somehow ignore the messages with
mismatched message type?

File to IDOC mapping - Message Type WMMBXY

   I am working on FILE to IDOC Scenario. I have records like the following in my file:

Using an ABAP Program I added DTL in front of every record as I have to convert text file to XML mapping.

When I did this my mapping is fine from source side. For the above two records there are two records created in xml format. But only one record is created at target side. I changed message type WMMBXY to unbounded in the external message but still only one idoc is created.
Please let me know if anyone faced the same issue.

Fault message types: Why do we need them?

Hi guys,
I have a bpm scenario created, tested and working.
This bpm starts with a async receive, a Sync Send to a R3 system by an ABAP proxy and a final async send to the original system.
I'm contemplating exception handling and other type of errors. Meaning, if the abap proxy dumps I can raise an exception and map it on the XI environment. The thing is, on sxmb_moni I get the exception handler, with the exception texts, id's, etc... from the R3 being mapped to the XI fault message type.
But the problem is I can't get to map the text from the fault message type into any field from the response of the original system.
I've searched the forum and I've seen that this area is surrounded by doubts and questions...
But in the end I'm forced to place the question, why do I need the fault message types? What use can I give them, besides of the cute little thunder on the sxmb_moni?

I've read the SAP description about Fault Message Types but I'm still struggling on how to use them correctly.
Why do we need them if I can't do nothing with it on the BPM side? After the mapping of the FMT, I'd like to acess it so that I can send a description back to the original system...The thing is, in BPM you can't acess the FMT, you can only create a new BRANCH (on a block step) for it...
I've tried to acess the description text on trace which comes with the message, but it seems that the trace only serves for posting info, and not for getting any...
The Mapping Runtime Constants have some information where you can read some descriptions, but nothing related to the errors....You can read the Receiver service, sender, interface_namespace, but nothing from the ERROR tag...
Is there a way to get the description? Or anything related to the error tag?

Any changes on SCCM console not applied

Hello,
We have stand-alone primary site based on System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager, suddenly I notice that any changes occur in console is not applied for example I change local admin password in task sequence, remove computer from specific collection
but no changes applied.
Plus on System status I didn't found any component monitor.
I notice that backup SQL maintenance task was stopped because Symantec net backup client was installed, after removing the client I could initiate SQL backup by starting the service.
Anyone receive such issue ?
I'm going to check SQL, because it's look like changes are not stored in database, maybe SQL logs are full or something like that, if any one have an idea please share it with me.

Actually I found errors in smsdbmon.log files such as
Failed to connect to the SQL server, connection type: SMS ACCESS
A network-Related or instance-specific error had occurred while establish a connection to SQL server. Server is not found or not Accessible.... etc
SQL installed with the same server.
I checked services and found that SMS_EXCUTIVE was running under local account and status is "Stopping" I change the account to Site admin account then restart and everything is working fine.
