Automatic assignment of order to an order group

Hi Gurus,
Is there a way to automatically assign an internal order to an order group?
For example when the user creates an order the order gets assigned to an order group automatically either through some attributes in the order master data or through a dialog box prior to saving an order.

Hi all,
I gave 4 types of Orders for one plant as per products. The client ask me assign that orders automatically for each product in routing how i will assign please let me know.

Actually routing has no relation to order type.
You can use Production Scheduling Profile as well as Production Scheduler/Supervisor.
Firstly, you need to create 4 Production Scheduling Profile and assign 4 Order Type to Prd Sch. Profile.
Then you need to assign the Profile to material in Work Scheduling view.
Another way is that you can create Production Scheduler/Supervisor and assign the Pro Sch Profile to the Prd Scheduler, then assign Prod Scheduler to Material Master in Work Scheduling view also.
From now on, whenever a production order is created for material, order type will be get from the Scheduling Profile.
To maintain the Prd Sch Profile and Prd Scheduler in IMG: Production > Shop Floor COntrol > Master Data

In Program : SAPLCOKO1
Include : LCOKO1F3J
Inside below FORM.
FORM header_update.
DATA: flg_q_upd.
DATA: quan_old LIKE caufvd-gamng.
ENHANCEMENT-POINT header_update_01 SPOTS es_saplcoko1 STATIC.

Hi,
It is 101 % possible through condition techniques.
what is common or require to create sales order - Answer is Sales organization.
Create condition table V/03
Select fields Sales organization & document type etc.from field catlog
genrate this table.
Now go to access sequence V/07
Create new or find which access is asigned to your OUT PUT CONDITION TYPE
Assign this newly created table in that access
Now assign this access to your out put condition type say std - BA00
Now go for condition record maintenance VV11
Put output condition >>> key combination >>> select sales organization & enter >>> maintain all data save.
Now when ever u create sales order with the sales organization,then system automatically asign this output type to order.

Hi Sunaina,
create a vendor with XK01 with the required Forwardng Agent. At the time of creating customer master record assing this FA. Now at the time of sales order creation this FA is defaulted automatically.
Incase you have multiple FA's then also you assign all of them to customer master partner tab with partner function FA.
During sales it will give you a pop up to select the required FA.
Make sure that partner function FA (or incase if you have created a new also) this is assigned to the account group of customer master you are using.

1. Copare the Routes which are Automatically determined and which are not automatically determined
2. Have you mainted this route to be RELEVANT FOR TRANSPORTATION without this check route will not get picked up.
SPRO > Logistic General > Shipping > Basic Shipping Function > Routes > Define Routes > Define Routes and stages > Select the Route and check for it's settings > CHECK MARK Relevant for Transport. Without this check the route will not get picked up as of my understanding.

Acct determination for Account-assigned purchase order with keys not define

Hi,
I'm trying to post an IDOC of type BBPIV through XI to an R/3 system.
The posted idoc in R/3 is in status 51 (Application document not posted) with the error message "Acct determination for Account-assigned purchase order with keys not defined in chart of acts WP2P"
As per my understanding this is something related to FI.
Long text of the error is "The system cannot generate an automatic posting because there is no account determination defined for Account-assigned purchase order with keys in chart of accounts WP2P.
Correct the account determination for Account-assigned purchase order"
Please help me how to solve this.

Hiya,
This looks like its a MM posting / transaction.
You need to go to OBYC and maintain the account assignment. If you provide the business scenario (GR into Stock, Subcontracting, etc.) for the process, I may be able to help.
VKOA is for SD account assignment and I don't believe you can use that here.

Hi,
KBS only define posting key (to which account the postings to happaen).In any account assign purchase order, system prompted to enter GL account (and CO object), which defined the account posting. Ex: Check in OMJJ - For mvt type 101 - update control - GR for acct. assgt. (consumption indicator V with quantity and value updation) - system defines postings as KBS and WRX, KBS refers to the consumption GL account.
KBS key doesnt require any additional settings in OBYC. It only looks for account specification in PO (say K /C/P) and GL account and can be assigned in OKB9 T.code.When we do GR for PO with account assign {KBS (consumption)}, it will debit the given GL account (assigned in OKB9 t.code) and credit GR/IR account (which define in OBYC).

Special stock inicator set automatically in production order

Hi there,
could anyone pls let me know, how to set the special stock indicator 2 to a component line, is the prod. order already assigned to project.
I have a material master for component: lot size: EX, Bom explosion: empty (indiv and coll), when I create a prod. order and assign it to WBS, always have to set manually the special stock indicatot component by component.
I d like this "2" automatically assign, if prod order is assigned to WBS.

Just to make you understand , Lets take the following example
Assembly is X which is for any Project WBS.
X is assigned in the network and X is having ind/coll requirement as 1 in MRP4
the BOM of material X has X1/X2/X3 as child materials.
X1 is having blank in the ind/coll requirement in MRP4
X2 is having value 1 in the ind/coll requirement in MRP4
X3 is having value 2 in the ind/coll requirement in MRP4.
In this situation following is the result
X1 and X2 will get Special stock indicator as 2 where as X3 will have blank in Special stock indicator field.
Test with simple example and check in Production Order Compoenent Oveview also whether Special Stock Filed is getting updated with 2 or not .

is it possible to restrict on Internal Order Groups in authorisation Object RESPAREA?
I know its possible for Profitcenter groups etc.. with PH / HI / KN..
But what about Internal Order groups?

In your internal order group you might have created so many lower level groups. but any how in any of the group through EDIT- order- insert order option you have insert the order number...
If you assign the order numbers in lower level option ... system will give error message...

Mass maintenance of internal order groups

Hello everyone,
I need to create an internal order group with a large number of subgroups, each with a few internal orders assigned to it, and I am looking for ways to automatize this procedure. I am equally concerned about any changes to the hierarchical structure that may be required in the future as I am about creating it in the first place. LSMW's batch input recording does not seem to work with KOH1 or KOH2.

1: check T-code KOK4, define a selection variant and tick "create order group" by entering a group key and a group name (for groups with large number of order master records).
2: For creation of group hierarchies, see SAPNET note 51141 and the reports listed there (RGSIMPH1, RGSIMPH2) and/or the BAPIc listed there for object BUS1117.

Assignment of Order Category to Order Type

Good morning!
Question regarding Order Category assignment:
I am in the following path location in SPRO:
Plant Maintenance and Customer Service->Maintenance and Service Processing->Maintenance and Service Orders->Functions and Settings for Order Types->Define Change Docs, Collective Purc. Req. Indicator, Operation No. Interval
Looking at this configuration, I noticed that our Order Category values are not consistent. (you can view Order Category by clicking on the 'print' button once configuration screen is open - view name is V_T399X_S).
Possible entries for Order Category are the following:
01     Internal Order (Controlling)
02     Accrual Calculation Order (Controlling)
03     Model Order (Controlling)
04     CO Production Order
05     Product Cost Collector
06     QM Order
10     PP Production Order
20     Network
30     Maintenance order
40     Process Order
50     Inspection Lot
60     Personnel Order
70     Shipping deadlines
I would assume that all of my PM order type should have category assignment of 30. However, some of my PM order types hold no assignment. Can someone explain the following two points:
1. Where in SPRO is Order Category assigned to Order Type
2. What is the purpose of Order Category.

The view I am looking at is one behind the config which is located in this step:

View is: V_T399X_S (Increment for Automatic Operation Number)
My point of confusion pertains to the fact that category field is null for order type belonging to three of our plants. From the data integrity perspective, I don't see how this would be possible, given that this assignment is performed by SAP automatically. My only theory would be that it happened during SAP upgrade, or that there is a problem with how the view is written.

Hi Shelina,
The best way is probably to use T-Code KOH3 then via menu Extras -> Check and Help Functions -> Find in Group. There you type in the Internal Order number you are interested in and you will then get the list of Order Groups for that IO.
This will only give you the group that the IO is actually assigned to but you can see the usage of that group by clicking on the usage button and it will list up the above hierarchy.
