Automatic call divert

I used to have an Erricsson (can't remember which) but it had a nice feature where whenever it was plugged in to charge (or docked) it automatically diverted all voice calls (eg to my desk phone)
Is there any way to do this with any of the Nokia phones? I currently have a 7210 but will upgrade soon (like the look of the n series).
thanks
Andrew

I have a series 60 phone, but I think it's the same. Click on settings, call divert...

  • HOW TO DELETE PHONE NO. RECORD IN CALL DIVERT

    Hi! Please help me, I have recently activated a call divert if the phone is not answered. My problem is, when I deactivate this function. The record of the phone number that I have used is still appearing, how do I delete this record?

    Menu > Tools > Settings > Phone > Call divert > Voice calls > If not answered > Activate > To voice mailbox.
    Most networks don't allow you to deactivate altogether the call divert is no answer, so setting it to divert to your voice mailbox just puts things back to their defaults.

  • Call Divert

    I am disappointed in the Call Divert service.
    I have it set up to divert to my mobile if the phone is not answered or busy.
    It takes a long time for the call to be put through and in the meantime there is an annoying message which is repeated three times. It does not sound at all professional.
    I used to be with Virgin and their divert system was much slicker.
    I would like to get rid of the annoying message - any chance?
    Why does it take longer than Virgin?
    PS the Infinity Broadband is a lot quicker which is why we changed.

    the delay depends on the setting this link may help http://btbusiness.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/7684/~/how-do-i-divert-calls-from-my-phone%3F

  • Automatic calling of procedure

    Is there any way in Oracle 8i where I can call a procedure or a script (.sql) automatically during a particular time daily.
    Thanks!!!

    Thanks Nicolas & Murali !!!!
    I was planning for the AT command. Using new software is out of scope for this.
    I hope Nicolas meant the AT command when he said I can schedule a task thro Task Manager.
    Why I wanted to know about this is the materialized views which I use should be refreshed daily with a simple command DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH_ALL_MVIEWS .
    So I thought of putting this in a sql which will be called by AT command. The .sql will connect to the database & call DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH_ALL_MVIEWS . Due to AT command it will be automatically called during specific time daily.
    I think DBMS_JOB is better suited for this.
    As per info in Oracle help sites I think I will do something like
    DECLARE
    l_job NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    DBMS_JOB.submit(l_job,
    'BEGIN DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH_ALL_MVIEWS; END;',
    SYSDATE,
    'SYSDATE + 1');
    COMMIT;
    DBMS_OUTPUT.put_line('Job: ' || l_job);
    END;
    so the DBMS_MVIEW.REFRESH_ALL_MVIEWS will be called daily automatically.

  • Automatically call specific method at other method invocation~ish?

    I have a class which basically acts as a wrapper around a List. It contains a List object and some methods that do something with that list.
    Now, in order to prevent exceptions, I've made a basic method that just checks if the List field is null and, if so, it will create a new ArrayList and chuck it in that field.
    Right now, I just have a call to that particular method in each other method that performs an operation on the list, like so:
    public class SomeClass<T> {
       private List<T> list;
       private void checkList() {
         if ( list == null) {
           list = new ArrayList<T>();
      public int method() {
        checkList();
        return list.doSomething();
      }Is there a way, prefferably a native Java way, to automatically have the checkList() method called before each and any method invocation? As in, whenever a method is called in the SomeClass, Java / the JVM automatically calls the checkList method?
    }

    List<T> check() {
       if (list == null) list= new ArrayList<T>();
       return list;
    void otherMethod(T t) {
       check().add(t);
    }Instead of using variable 'list' directly, use the 'check()' method.

  • 6300 call divert missing from menu

    Some time ago I set up Call Divert on my Nokia 6300 (on Orange UK), but now that I wish to cancel it, I go to menu>setiings>call, but Call Divert no longer appears. The items there are listed as 2/8 to 8/8. How do I get it back?

    This could v well b an operator issue. In India a network BSNL allows call diverts to only its own network numbers. So if that's the case in ur area pls do check with the operator too.

  • 5800 Call Divert

    Hi
    I am having problems with the call divert on my 5800.  I have set it up to divert to my voicemail if I don't answer, however it only rings twice and then diverts.  I'm trying to find out how to extend the time it rings before diverting as I haven't answered a call sucessfully yet since I've had the phone!
    Thanks all!

    try checking under Menu > Settings > Calling > Call Divert > Voice Calls > If not answered
    max u should be able to set the timer to is 30 secs
    if there are any errors and if it still diverts before the timer set, u should call ur network provider

  • Cancelling call divert

    Each time I try to cancel call divert by dialling #21# I get a message saying 'sorry, the service requested is not available' !!!  Any ideas what I do now as I am desperate to cancel call divert.  Thanks for any help

    that is the correct way to take a divert off... if you put on the divert this should work, however if it was put on by 151 you may have to give them a call... also if you are using a feature line have you tried # 121 #

  • N85 call divert

    I have a N85 and use call divert a great deal. Is there a way of moving call divert to the main menu screen of the N85?
    Thanks
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    You could find out from your operator what the code is to activate and deactivate Call Diversion. Then, you could set up two contacts, one for Activating the diversion, and another to deactivate. Assign a Nickname to each contact, and use Voice Dialling with the associated Nickname to dial the Call Diversion Code.
    For example, in Australia, **21*[DestinationNumber]#[SEND] is the Call Diversion GSM code. See this link (or search for GSM Call Diversion Codes) for sample codes:
    http://www.hotel.com.au/GSM-Mobile-Hash-Codes.asp
    Hope this helps - haven't tried it, but it should work. Let everyone know how you go!!!

  • C6 call divert issues

    Hello, earlier today I was on the phone to my friend, my dad came home later on saying he had been trying to ring me, whilst I had been on the phone to my friend I had no incoming call things, I tried to sort it out, I went on settings, calling, call divert, voice calls and clicked If Busy, I clicked deactivate but it just came up 'Request not complete' any ideas what I have to do?
    Thanks

    Try phoning your network before you reset your phone because your phone it's not the one responsible for diverting calls, your network is. The phone just sends a request for the calls to be diverted. A problem with the network caused the message you got back.

  • 6151 call divert

    Hi, I have a 6151 and the call divert activates too quickly. How do I change how long the phone rings for before it diverts to voicemail?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    This is a network setting. You have four possibilities:
    1. You can't...your operator is keen on voicemail revenue
    2. There may be a setting in your phone under "call divert"
    3. You may be able to change it on your operator's website
    4. Otherwise, try calling your operator

  • 6310 : Call Divert - 'Request not Completed'

    I have a Nokia 6310 and wish to set up a call divert.
    I follow the instructions in the manual, setting the delay, etc, but when I get to select Activate I am given a error message of 'Request not Completed'.
    What is causing this?

    If you're on a Pay & Go sim, some networks only allow you to divert to Voicemail - and it won't allow diverts to other mobiles/landlines.
