Automatic Clock off during Midnight - DBM Time Recording

Dear Experts,
The technicians who are clocked in are automatically getting clocked off during midnight 12:00. The status ID for personnel number then turns to Absent.
We have not configured any Automatic End time in the General Settings of DBM Time Management. Also the Automatic End Time field is kept blank in the Terminal grouping configuration.
Kindly suggest.

Dear All, Currently Employee status is based just on events from current day and therefore wrong employee status was shown after midnight. This has been rectified by SAP in note 2153760 Please apply note 2153760 to resolve the above issue. Regards, T.R.S.Praveen

DBM Time recording Event type sequence

Hi Experts, Is it possible to define the sequence for time recording event types in standard? Currently we are able to perform the end order event before the Start order event. The entry gets stored in table /DBM/TM_TEVENT. Another example is - We can perform the Clock Out event type before Clock IN. These event types should be in sequence. Try below suggestion, in my opinion there isn't a standard config to define the sequence since there cannot be a fixed sequence since requirement might differ from customer to customer:
When time events are entered at DBM time recording terminals, the system logs a time event for a personnel number in a first step, and in a second step CATS data records are created from the sequence of the logged time events.
You can influence the posting of time events of a DBM time recording terminal in CATS by using the BAdI /DBM/BADITM_TEVENT_PROC.
You can use the BAdI method ACTION_AFT_CHECK_TIME_EVENTS to process the CATS records generated from the time events before they are saved to the database. The method supplies the current personnel number, the current terminal key and the affected time events for information purposes; you can change the proposed CATS records that are to be saved.

Does Verizon automatically turn off Data between Midnight and 7 am??

It seems that both Smartphones I have in the house, one is my Wife's, the data automatically turns off at midnight each night, then turns itself back on a 7am each morning.
We have had our phones for three weeks now, and we both have noticed this. If we are up and we check our phones after midnight, there is a message saying, "Data Time Restriction Set". I can not seem to find a setting to take this off.
Is this something that Verizon automatically does each night?
Both our phones are the Pantech Maurader running ICS 4.03.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Found it! It's on page 153 of your manual:
Setting Data restrict time
1 Tap Apps from the Home Screen and tap Settings > More....
2 Tap Mobile networks > Data restrict time.
3 Tap Set data restrict time. It is selected by default. You cannot use
data during the time.
4 Tap Start time, adjust time and tap Set.
5 Tap End time, adjust time and tap Set.

As of client is in Negative Tim MGt. .. But now i says that he wants to maintain the Clock in and Out From Time Recording System.

In Positive Tim Can we capture the absenses without any Manuall Interaction.
Ex: 1) If the employee is absent for 2day, the quato is available for only 1 day. than the system should automatically has to be deduced one day under Quota and other as a LOP. Can this is be done ( automatically)

What are the steps to be considered before staring '+ ive' TIM MGT Configuration.

Error in Transaction : /DBM/TM_VT- tIME RECORDING

In /DBM/TM_VT TRANSACTION I slected personal number and event (like work on order) and choose order no from list of release orders but when saving system is giving the below message
Error occurred during saving of time stamp of personnel number 00000017
Message no. /DBM/TM051
Diagnosis
Errors occured during saving of the time stamp.
System Response
Error was recorded. The current time data can not be changed, but further time stamps can be created.
Procedure
The incorrect time stamps can be viewed via the error log in transaction Error Processing

Hi,
If there is no CATS record updated for any of the time stamp transactions; then the set up for time stamp transaction is not proper. Following are some of the things that need to be ensured.
1. the cats profile for updating time stmp data of terminal needs to be set up.
2. for updating the DBM order, task,item to the CATSDB table the exit CATS0002 needs to be implemented.
3. If the automatic cost transfer is active (for DBM 600 SP02 a correction note needs to be applied to activate) then HR info record 315 needs to be maintained with cost center and activity type.
4. Also note that the CATS record gets updated from DBM time stamp if controlling object has been assigned to the previous time event of the person number.

Is it possible for a Blackberry (I have a 9780) to automatically turn email filters on or off at a scheduled time during night?
This is to allow alerting notification start without me having to manually do it. (I'll be asleep )

I think turning the RAID on and off periodically is a bad idea. But if you really really really want to do this ....
Connect the xserve raid to a 'metered power strip such as those provide by APC. you can telnet to the power strip via the network to power off individual port)
write a script (run on the xserve or powermac that the RAID is connected to (direct or via switch)
0) quit application (issue a quit command or if the application have a stop command (example databse can be stopped)
1) unmount volume (must)
2) issue a telnet command via expect script to control the power strip to power off the array.
If you have java cli access to the array (see alienraid.org).(I have not tried this before.)

Yes, you can. You can configure the Side Switch (above the volume button) either as Mute switch or Rotation lock.
Settings > General > Use Side Switch to: choose what you like the Side Switch to function as.

Automatically shut down during windows 8.1 update (at the time of setting up)

I faced the problem 5-6 times ...as I can't update win 8.1. After completion of win 8.1 download when it restarts and at the time of setting up it shuts down automatically...(after setting up 25%..15%...etc...).

I grasp that you have tried to update your pavilion g6-2301ax notebook to Windows 8.1 , 5 or 6 times but it automatically shuts off before completion.

Print out of time stamp ( time recording) in DBM ( using cats)

Hello,
in DBM we use standard time recording, everytime we post time stamp the system prints output of the time stamp
we want to stop it...however is probobly control in HR . Any hints where?
we use cac1 profile

I was thinking about something like the snipped added below. My version is very simple, but I think that it shows how it can be done. You need to have Excel on your machine. (Disclaimer: This is my very first use of the Report Generation Toolkit in LabVIEW, so maybe there is a better way to do it)
I made the VI labels visible, so that you know what function was used, if the Toolkit is not included in your LabVIEW license. The same thing can be done with ActiveX automation. If you are not familiar with it, there are a lot of examples in the forums about generating Excel files via ActiveX.

Automatical cornnection between time recording terminal and SAP TM

I want to have automatically cornnected time recording terminal(TRM) to SAP time management, and by setting up background job upload check in/out recorded by TRM to SAP TM .

Late Shift: 22:00 - 07:00(morning of next day)
Time record data:
Data(1): Check in: 2004.01.05 - 22:00:00
Data(2): Check out: 2004.01.06 - 10:00:00
By program SAPCDT45 update IT2011 with the above data, actaully the data(2) should be as assignment to previous day(2004.01.05), field "Day assignment" of IT2011 be filled with "-" .But program SAPCDT45 has no check for this base on the daily work schedule, so field "Day assignment" is maintained with blank. In the case, run PT60(time evaluation), error arise.
Now I need to fill field "Day assignment" of IT2011 with "-" for the data(2) by program SAPCDT45 or enhanced program.
Could you give some hints or advice ?

I am trying to record in Garageband. I have a mic plugged in to my Avid Mbox and the Mbox into my Mac. The levels on the microphone keep automatically going down, during recording.

This causes problems for me. When I place a single .mbox file into a new folder and import that folder I get the following dialogue:
When I click 'continue' I get a new import folder, but the formatting is a garbled nightmare of seemingly random subdirectories upon subdirectories:
Each of the subdirectories under "ASV" should have just contained messages, not lots of embedded subdirectories. Am I doing something wrong?

Time Recording - HRESS_A_CATS_CALUI clock times

We are trying to use the application HRESS_A_CATS_CALUI for time recording. But it allows to record time only in 30 min intervals. There is a drop down, from where we can select e.g. 08:00 and 08:30.
Is it possible to reduce this interval or have field where it can be eneterd instead of dropd own.

Yes, you can reduce interval to 15 min, Follow the steps below-
Run
transaction SE80 and select package: PAOC_CATS_ESS_WDA. Select component configuration ‘HRESS_CC_CATS_CALUI_TIME_SEL’ (CATS
Calender UI Configuration for time values) of web dynpro component: ‘HRESS_C_CATS_CALUI’ (CATS Calender UI )
Double click and then click on ‘Display Configuration’ button to get following screen:
Select ‘timeDiff’ to change the interval by clicking on Edit button later. you
can select the ‘Time Difference’ as 15 minutes using dropdown while editing.

this is the questions tha runs my mind bcoz I just bought it about 2 weeks ago and just this recently I noticed that it automatically switches off after 2 minutes if remained untouched even if i did not set the sleep mode. Well, it normally functions coz during playing a song it does not sleeps but by the time pausing the song and after two minutes the nano switches off, but if you press any key it goes back again and you can play the paused song again. is this thing normal? i am really bothered by this. please help me THANKS A LOT

I recently bought a 2nd Generation 8Gb iPod Nano and can state for a fact that if you pause a song for exactly two minutes the device will turn off, probably to save batttery power. I tested it three times already and clocked it.
However, I also noticed that my iPod also seems to turn off by itself (even when sleep / timer is not selected) when I'm shuffling through songs using the forward/next and/or rewind/back buttons repeatedly.
Is this normal, or just a bad coincidence?
I've tried the 5 Rs but the problem persists. It really annoys me because I have the habit of skipping lots of songs.
