Automatic creations of Schedule lines

Hello Everybody,
My client requirement is, Once we run the MRP, the schedule lines has to be converted automatically.
What are the steps needs to be carried out .
Is there any backend settings needs to be done.
Plese reply me as early as possible.
With Regards,
Bhaskar.

Hi,
- Plant should be MRP active.( SPRO)
- Maintain material master MRP views with MRP type , correct procurement type( External).
- Source list to be created for the SA with MRP indicator 2 and fixed indicator check.
- Requirements of the material should fall in the planning horizon, else the schedule lines will not be created.
- On the selection screen of MRP run, select the option 3- Schedule lines for the field Delivery schedules.
Thanks and Regards,

  • Automatic creation of Schedule line after MRP RUN

    Hi,
Till now we are  using only PO for placing orders to vendor, now we want to use the functionality of scheduling agrement,  so that after MRP run,  we can get automatic schedule line creation,  for this ,  what are settings required, how system create the automatic schedule lines based on which criteria, second thing while creating on eschedule agrement i found that the conditon which i can add for a vednor in ME21N  that all condition are not coming while creating schedule agrement  even my vendor is same for PO and Schedule agrement,  so what are  the setting required for this.

    Hi
1.In material master purchasing view data auto PO is to be flagged. If scheduling agreemet with release documentation.
    Then flag JIT indicator 1.
2.maintain MRP views in material master
3.In source list for fix vendor, source list usage 2 is to be maintained.
4.Vendor master purchasing data auto PO indicator is to be flagged.
5.Then when you run MRP automatically schedule lines are generated.
For JIT and forecasting maintain creaton profile in OMUP transction.
Assign the creation profile in scheduling agreement.

  • Scheduling Agreement - Automatic Release Individual Schedule Lines

    Dear all.
I've create a "LPA" scheduling Agreement and its release type is "JIT". So, I use to ME38 to maintain the individual JIT delivery schedule lines.
The problem I have is this method requires the person to manually release each individual delivery schedule line document on the due date before GR is allowed. Hence, is there a SAP system function that can automatically release any due delivery schedule line document without having to manually track and release using ME38 each day/week/month?
    Thanks.
    Steven

    Hello
use t.code ME84 then system release the sch.lines automatically those maintained with me38.

  • Strange MRP behavior - creation of schedule lines we don't need

We are having a very strange MRP issue that I'm hoping there's a solution for.  If MRP looks something like this (extremely simplified):
    04/16 SchLine 100
    04/17 DepReq  100
    05/16 SchLine 100
    05/17 DepReq 100
    06/16 SchLine 100
    06/16 DepReq 100
    06/28 --- Time Fence ---
Now a requirement comes along that increases requirements by 50 on each of the DepReq lines.  MRP wants to increase each of the SchLine lines by 50, but must put them after the time fence.  So far everything still looks Ok.
    04/16 SchLine 100
    04/17 DepReq  150
    05/16 SchLine 100
    05/17 DepReq 150
    06/16 SchLine 100
    06/17 DepReq 150
    06/28 --- Time Fence ---
    06/29 SchLine 50 (reschedule message, 4/16)
    06/29 SchLine 50 (reschedule message, 5/16)
    06/29 SchLine 50 (reschedule message, 6/16)
We can't put these where SAP wants them.  We combine them into one schedule line for 150 and put it just inside the time fence.  Now here's the problem.  When we re-run MRP, it RE-CREATES the schedule lines for 50 so it looks like this.
    04/16 SchLine 100
    04/17 DepReq  150
    05/16 SchLine 100
    05/17 DepReq 150
    06/16 SchLine 100
    06/17 DepReq 150
06/27 SchLine 150 (the line we added)
    06/28 --- Time Fence ---
    06/29 SchLine 50 (reschedule message, 4/16)
    06/29 SchLine 50 (reschedule message, 5/16)
    06/29 SchLine 50 (reschedule message, 6/16)
How can we prevent it from re-creating the schedule lines for 6/29?  We've already added 150 on 6/27.  We can increase that quantity on 6/27 to one million, delete the three lines on 6/29, and SAP will still re-create them the next time MRP runs.
    Thanks,
    Randy

    Hi,
Depending on the MRP type you have defined , procurement proposals are firmed and scheduled within the planning time fence.
Hope have defined a Time fence and MRP type P1 , the procurement proposals inside the fence are firmed automatically and hence to compensate for the shortage (new reqmts), new proposals will be created on the end of PTF.
yopu can choose from the following firming types:
0  -- Procurement proposals are not firmed automatically. No firming takes place with this firming type.
1 -- Procurement proposals within the planning time fence are firmed automatically as soon as their date is at least one day before the end date of the planning time fence. The date of new procurement proposals created in the planning time fence is moved to the end date of the planning time fence. As a result, these new procurement proposals are not firmed.
2 -- Procurement proposals within the planning time fence are firmed automatically as soon as their date is at least one day before the end date of the planning time fence. No new procurement proposals are created automatically within the planning time fence; that is, the shortage situation is not adjusted within the planning time fence.
3 -- Procurement proposals within the planning time fence are not firmed automatically. All procurement proposals required to cover the requirements are moved to the end of the planning time fence.
4 -- No procurement proposals are created automatically within the planning time fence; that is, the shortage situation is not adjusted within the planning time fence.

  • Deletion and creation of Schedule line for Line Item

    Hi BW Experts,
In P.S.A. when i have checked for first schedule line 001 reqdelqty is 50 , after deleting 001 and after creation of second schedule line in R/3 there are two records transferred from R/3 for schedule line 002 first with reversal indicator 'X' and delivery quantity -50 and next record with Reversal Indicator blank with value 50. which in turn results Reqdelqty zero.
Reason of wrong data in BW: -
Schedule line category for an item is being deleted forcefully. R3 doesn’t allow deletion of a schedule line category if delivery is already created. Here user is creating one same schedule line and then he deletes the order quantity from earlier one. This forces system to pick up schedule line 2 in the document flow
    · User shouldn’t delete schedule line.

    Hello Ganesh,
Schedule line number sequence will not be in control of the user.
once delivery for a schedule line is completed, no way you can delete the schedule line (except renumbering case). This is general SAP logic relates to schedule lines.
Let me know how they are deleting the schedule lines even though delivery is completed.
Now coming to Data load problem in BI.
When you delete schedule line 001, the generated record should be with schedule line 001 with Reversal Indicator as R and delivery quantity -50.
And for new schedule line 002, reversal indicator as blank and delivery quantity 50

  • Make to order automatic generation of schedule lines

I am now designing Make to order (MTO) strategy for repetative manufacturing.
Requirement generates through sales order (Requirement type - KE)
While doing backflushing (Tr. Code- MFBF) I am selecting Make to order tab and putting sales order no,will call planned orders (were generated while MRP run- Tran. code-MD50) and will confirm if sufficent sales order stock is available.
Every time I ahve to move from regualr stock to sales order stock by 412 movement.
Is there any link which will enables the shortfall of sales order stock will generate the schedule line enable to procure the material?
I have found one solution- will have to create Purchase order item having account assignment- M. and have to maintain the source and quota. It genertaes schedule line. But on daily basis I am generatin sales order and there are thousands of items to be procured. Practically it very difficult to creates new po or add new item in purchase order by putting assignment M

    Hello,
Planning of child items in MTO senario can be handled by using appropriat planning stategy.
    Or
There is another way of using individual and collective indicator
field on the MRP 4 view.
    Here following are possible entries.
    blank ---
    1 -
    Individual requirement only
    2 -
    collective requirement
Here if you give indicator as 2 , then for many sales orders the component requirement will get clubbed.
For example you have five sales orders for a parent material of qty 100 each, and in BOM you have specified the required quantity as 1 for the child material.
Then you will get a dependent requirement of 500 for the component.
Now , you have to decide whether you want five individualdependent  requiremants  of 100 quantity each for components or you want collective dependent requirement of
    500 quantity for component.
Hope the above explanation is clear.
    Reward if useful.
Please revert back if you need any input on component  planning strategies.

  • Automatic Creation of Scheduled Master Record for Scheduled Master Data

    Hi experts,
We know that MRU and Portion are Scheduled master data but Scheduled master record is transactional data. So it is obvious that we have to generate scheduled master record in every server wher we transport the master data manually. And we can generate records for a particular time span and after that time we have to generate the records again.
All I want to know that whether it is possible to get all the records generated automatically after certain period.
    Thanks,
    Arghya

    Hi,
Scheduled records do NOT get created automatically , altleast not by any sort of configuration, in case you are looking for it.
Your can always create custom program to do so, but it isn't worth the effort.
You can create records for upto 7yrs ( do need to check but definitely for a period long enough)
    Hope that helps!!!

  • System is not firming schedule line automatically

    Hello,
I want to know how the end and start date of planning time fence is calculated and why system is not firming schedule line automatically.
In Material master I am using MRP type P1 and GR processing time 1 day, planned delivery time 1 day, planning time fence is 7 days. Lot size key EX
Today is 19.11.2008. And I have requirement of this material coming from FG on 20.11.2008.In MD04 transaction system is showing End of planning time fence is 28.11.2008 which is fine as per material master (+ 7 days excluding sat & Sunday).
When I run MRP for FG, system generates schedule line for this material procured form vendor for the required qty on 28.11.2008 with exception message (30-Plan process according to schedule20.11.08).
As per firming type P1 system should automatically firm the order since requirement date is on 20.11.2008 and it should show the schedule line on 20.11.2008 not on 28.11.2008
But when I change the delivery date manually from 28.11.2008 to 20.11.2008 it firms the schedule line.
Please suggest what can be the solution
    Regards
    Nanhe Babu

    Dear,
Check your MRP type and Planning time fence defined in mrp 1 view of material master?
    Firm zone (go-ahead for production)
One of two periods specifying the degree to which the delivery schedule lines of a scheduling agreement release are classified as firm or semi-firm.
    Use
    ! Firm zone I Trade-off zone I
    !--!-II> Days
SA release creation date Schedule line date
    Firm zone: (go-ahead for production)
If the date of a schedule line lies within the firm zone, the vendor has the go-ahead to produce the relevant quantity with the assurance that the orderer will bear any and all material and production costs associated with the scheduled quantity in the event of subsequent cancellation by the latter.
    1. Another way of handling your issue is by using the manual firming .
    2. In mdo4 in the Edit menu u will find a Set firming date.
    3. Now you can select this and this will give u a popup for entering a date.
4.When u give a date in this and hit enter.
Also please note delivery schedule lines in ME38 (even it is created automatically), in Planning time fence, will get affected by MRP run.
    Hope clear to you.

    Hi Caetano,
    thanks for your suggestion
Yes, we use firm zone for few of the vendors. there the system don't change the schedule lines.
Also for the stock transfer PR's there is no firm zone and the lead time is one day. in this case it changes everyday after the MRP run.
the stock transfer PR's leads to the creation of Schedule lines from the source plant. Since this PR gets changed everyday. the alerts coming out of MD07 gets changed and we really did not know if this order is delayed or not.  In the source plant we use the firm zone to avoid moving the schedule line. But then the alerts are always not correct.
is there any setting which helps in not moving the PR everyday without using " start in the past"

    Dear Subrat,
you cannot create a yearly schedule line in the scheduling agreement. It is not possible due to format restrictions of the date field. But what you can do is the follows (it is the modification, but it should work with the help of user-exits):
    1. You can split the year schedule line to the monthly schedule lines. There are two ways to do it. If you apply the DELINS IDOC, then you can do it already during transfer of the data to the application (itr is the best way). Here you can use, for example, user-exit USEREXIT_ZUORDNEN_IDOCS (include LVED4FZZ) or customer function EXIT_SAPLVED4_002, called from the subroutine USEREXIT_DYNPRO (Include LVED4F0U). Alternatively, you can use the user-exit USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBEP (Include MV45AFZZ) within the call transaction, then it will work also in the dialog case.
    2. After getting the monthly schedule lines, you can create a planning delivery schedule, where you can split mothly schedule lines automatically to daily schedule lines according to the customer factory calender. The settings for generation of planning delivery schedules can be found under:
Customizing SPRO: Sales and Distribution => Sales => Sales Documents => Scheduling Agreements with Delivery schedules => Maintain Planning Delivery Sched. Instruct./Splitting Rules
It is the only ways, how you can reach your aim. I hope, this information will help you further.

  • Shifting of Schedule Lines

    Here goes the scenario:
    1. In the production environment, a Standard Order is created with Requested Delivery Date as 15th July 2014.
    2. After all the data is entered, the system automatically shifts the Schedule Line Date to 21st July 2014.
    3. If I create the same order in Quality/Testing Environment(Replica of Production Server), the schedule line confirm to 15th July 2014 only.
    4. Enough Stock of material is available in both the environments and Material Master is exactly the same in both the environments.
Please let me know all the possible reasons that might be causing the shifting of Schedule lines in the Production Server.

Are you absolutely certain there is sufficient quantity available on July 15th? Check CO09 and post a screenshot here.
Other things to check that have not been mentioned above:
    - Are the routes the same in both examples? Check transaction 0VTC for the transity time of the route.
    - Are the pick / pack & loading times the same? Check transaction OVLZ to ensure they are the same as yuor other example.
    - Are you using Route Schedules in the example?

  • Schedule line date changes after each MRP run

    Dear Experts,
Clarification needed on how the system plans the MM schedule lines.
Setting: Start in the past not allowed.
3 days for processing of order
The issue is after each MRP run the system is moving the schedule line to the current date + 3 days for processing + the planned delivery time.
If the schedule line is not firmed, after each MRP run ( which happens everyday) the system is moving the schedule line and then giving an alert saying the " order has to be rescheduled to the previous day"
on the second day after the mrp run the system moves the schedule line again by one more day and gives the rescheduling date as " -2 days from today"
this change is happening every day after the planning run. - because of this there are really no backorders ( schedule line in the past ) in the system. we were not able to know if the vendor is actually delayed in this case.
can you kindly suggest what went wrong here ??
we are using strategy 10 for the planning of procured parts. Let me know if more info is needed.
Note: we are also using stock transfer process for some procured parts. there too the PR date gets changed after each MRP run. There there is no lead time in this case. the order is placed on the same day as the requirement as both plants are nearby. There the PR date is changing everyday to the current date.
your advice would be of great help

  • More than one schedule line when 'Only complete delibery allowed'

    Hi guys!!
I need your help to solve a problem with the shipping of our sales orders. We have a customer which has been set with 'C' 'Only complete delibery allowed' in the field 'partial delibery per item', but if a sales order is blocked because credit limit has been exceeded and we try to release the order, the system automatically set several schedule lines in the schedule lines tab of the sales order. I know afterwards the system will not allow us to delibery the order unless we ship the whole line, but Is there any way to avoid the system set more than one schedule line?
Thanks in advance for your answers

    Hi
How many schedules are created. Normally if the system couldn't confirm the stock on the Requested Delivery date, then it will create one schedule line with zero quantity for that requested del date. Since it is a complete delivery, it should have only one more schedule line. If you have only two schedule lines, then it is working fine. If not, pl check the sales order whether that complete delivery is determined or not.
    Thanks,
    Ravi

  • Schedule Lines - fixed Date and Qty checkbox

    Hi Experts,
When an order is placed, on the schedule line tab there is a check box for a fixed date and qty. Can this only be set manually or can it be set by customer number.
    Thanks in advance.
    Mike

    Hi,
When the availability check will happen in that screen you can see fixed date and quantity If you check that it will automatically copied in schedule line .
If you leave the field blank, the delivery date and confirmed quantity are not fixed. If you are able to expedite either the manufacture or purchase of goods, you may be able to deliver the goods closer to the customer's original request (and sooner than the date the system confirmed).
