Automatic data downloads

I know that some data updates are done automatically...BUT...I left my Stratosphere at the Emergency Room 12 days ago. The head of hospital security assurred me that he had placed my phone in the Security Office in a drawer under lock and key. When I went to pick it up, they were in panic mode because the phone was nowhere to be found. I pulled my Verizon Account up to look at recent activity. - there have been data downloads every day since...some for small amounts, others at 15197.3k and another for 33490k. The rest aren't quite as large, but there appears to have been some activity on the phone. No calls though. Verizon told me that it had to have been in use by someone at the hospital. Before i accuse them, I want to make certain that there is no other possibility. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated! All of my e-mails were on there..not to mention evidentiary support on a case that I'm working on. Not cool!

I would guess that someone is using it. The battery wouldn't have lasted 12 days without being charged at some point. The only way it might have lasted that long was if it had a full charge when you left it and it was in airplane mode and all the radios were off. It couldn't have transferred data if it was in airplane mode.

How do I disable automatic image downloads if there is no option to turn that function on/off in Options/Control???

I want to turn off the automatic image download function, and DO NOT have that option on the Option/Content tab. I have looked everywhere I can think of for an option to stop web pages from downloading a ton of stuff I don't want to see, and I cannot find a way to do it anywhere. I am VERY frustrated at this point, because all the help info I found online from other sources say to uncheck the Automatic Image Download box on the Content Tab in the Options dialog box.
That option isn't there... The only things available on that tab are "Block Pop-ups," "Fonts & Colors," and "Language." That's it. I have automatic updates enabled for Firefox, and it is up to date.
Please help me solve this very annoying problem. Thank you.
BTW... EVERY search I did on the tech support page said there were 1000 answers/solutions found. This tells me that your search function is NOT working very well at all...Every search should not return the EXACT same quantity of results.

Please select all open PO according to the following conditions - select if the PO satisfies any one of the below conditions:
1) Open Quantity is less than 10% of total quantity
2) Delivery date is more than 3 months in the past
3) Delivery completed indicator is set and delivery date is more than 6 months in the past.
Then a manual decision is required. Best is to develop a report which will display the list and user can select and block from the report itself.
Also, the 10%, 3 months, etc values are depending on the customer. You may want to modify these as suitable.

Automate template download for SAP BPC client rollout

Hi Experts
Is it possible to automate the downloading of the template and dimension files automatically using a client deployment tool such as Symantec Altiris. We will be deploying to over 3000 clients in a staged approach, but due to the strict bandwidth polices of the client, they want to know if it is possible push down the Outlooksoft folder as well, when installing the client. So that when the client is launched for the first time, it doesnu2019t have to download all of the template files.
Because of the bandwidth policies this needs to be done. CITRIX and Terminal Services is not an option at this stage.
How does the client check that all of the files are downloaded, Does the AppInfo.xml file have any influence in this process check, and what parameter does this check?

Hi Daniel,
Appinfo.xml has importance but also some registry key from HKEY_CURRENTUSER-Software-VB&VBA Program settings- Outlooksoft.
BPC is doing comparation between the version from key registry and version from server and if this doesn't match then the info necessary for client like Templates and Dimensions are downloaded.
In your case you would liek to minimize the amount of data download.
That's means you have to keep at minimum the templates download into client.
So the tempates store into Wizard folders for each application must be redouce as much as possible.
Only these templates are download into client side.
The rest of templates are used direct from server and are download only when the users are using it.

TS3297 I find the instructions to use automatic date/time in ts3297 to be totally unacceptable.

I do things on my MBP (software builds) that REQUIRE consistent timestamps. I also travel extensively, which frequently results in "going backwards in time' (flying east to west). Updating date/time automatically causes total confusion for my builds, among other things.
I haven't debugged (yet) the same error message on my iPhone 4 which _does_ have 'automatic date/time' set.
My iPhone 4S and original iPad seem to work just fine. The 4S has automatic date/time, original iPad has manual date/time.
All ios devices are 5.1.1, MBP is Mountain Lion. In other words, no software updates required for any device.
The interesting thing, it's only updates.... Now that _does_ require date/time info, but I would expect to see 'no updates found', not 'unable to connect'.

Okay, checked the iPhone 4 debug steps.
Not my ISP, I can press 'featured' in the App Store and see what's up. Safari works, etc.
Doesn't matter whether connection is Wi-fi or 3g, fails.
Powered down/up, no change. Switched from automatic to manual and back, no change.
Went back to MBP, the OSX app store works just fine. It found I needed to update iTunes on my MBP. We'll see what happens after that. Can't expect it to solve my iPhone 4 issue, though.
Download time for iTunes update is 35+ minutes (hotel connection). I'll be back.....

Automate the download interactive form

I have designed a PDF file in tcode: SFP in order to take into account a table of data ..
In the other side of my WEBDYNPRO application i display this table data in an ALV
and what i want is :
When the user clik on a button, i want to automate the download of
this file :(with taking into account its template + DATA issues from the ALV) .
otherwise : to display the pop up of downloading the PDF file
I do not want to navigate to an other VIEW that contain an interractive form which contain the template of the PDF
So please if you have any idea, that will be helpful

How do you reset the Apple ID to a new one for the automatic updates download tool? It defaults to my old Apple ID, even though I have changed the Apple ID to the new one everywhere I can find.

I have an original Apple ID from my personal iPhone and iPad. I bought a MacBook Pro for business and the Apple Store clerk told me to use the old Apple ID to make setup faster and that I could change to a new one later. So... I did all that and changed the Apple ID everywhere I can find a place to do so. And everything seems okay, except the Automatic Updates download tool defaults back to my original Apple ID. That old Apple ID is grayed out in the login, so I cannot seem to change it to download and update under my new, business-related Apple ID for my MacBook Pro. What to do?

Yes, absolutely, you can still use the old ID to update, etc., but I understood the OP to want to simply discard the old one and use only the new one. Maybe I misunderstood...
And, actually just now re-reading the first post, it could be that the ID had only been associated with the iDevices, so if he established a new ID and associated that with the new MBP, I frankly have no idea if he can still use the old ID on that machine (based on him saying that the old ID is greyed out) - have not come up with this type of situation before.

Is there a way of showing more info than just the title and author for books in my iPad "library", say date downloaded, or date last read, eg ?

Sometimes I forget the title of a book I am currently reading, and have to check through each book in my long list of titles in my "library" to find it again. I cant see any way of adding any additional information to each title (and author), like date downloaded, or date last read, which would help me find a particular book again quickly.
I may be missing something simple, so can anyone please help?

SRM MDM: Workflow Unlaunch while performing the Automatic data transfer

We are trying to import some data from R/3 4.6 C by configuraing remote system as ERP and creating Port based based on the XML Schema in the SRM MDM Catalog. We have created work flow to validate the above pulled data accuracy into data manager. Everything goes well here, I am able to get the data transfered into data manager Automatically But the only issue is in the Work flow.
Set workflow into data manager is not able to launch automatically even though the record is accurate via automatic transfer. I have accuratly set the wokflow name in import manager while svaing the MAP file for automatic import.
Please have your inputs why the work flow is not able to launch in automatic data transfer from the specified port.

please check in the Data Manager, that you selected by the workflow, the right Trigger Actions, such as Record Import. And that the Autolunch is also set correcly.

Automatic date update in Pages for iPad

I want the date (date feild?) in a Pages for iPad letter template to update automatically (using the system date, like other word process application) but cannot see how to do this. This automatic date update appears to work in the Pages for iPad templates examples. i.e open a letter template and the date field shows the correct date, do the same with the same template 24 hours later and the date is shown correctly accordingly. I believe feature is achieved in the Mac version of Pages by setting up a date field. I would like to do the same with Pages iPad. Any ideas how this can be achieved?

Automatic data collection evaluation issue

We are currently evaluating several automatic data collection applications that we are planning to integrate with our Oracle Applications --- got most of the RFQ constructed using this template, http://www.highjumpsoftware.com/adc/Vertexera062503/

Mobile DSD data download issue : "/DSD/ME_DDR_STAT" status on error

DSD Backend scenarios are working fine. We had sent all the master data and shipment IDOC's to the DSD connector and we see the data in the DSD connector tables. In the Mobile DSD application we are having problems in getting the data downloaded to the Nobile client. we noticed that afer the shipment creation in backend the status on the table "/DSD/ME_DDR_STAT" goes to the following status:
DATA_STATUS - N
TRANDAT_STATUS - S
PRCDAT_STATUS - N
and when we try to do a sync from the mobile device it says the
synchronization is completed successfully but the status on the table
changes to Error as mentioned below:
DATA_STATUS - E
TRANDAT_STATUS - S
PRCDAT_STATUS - E
We are not sure what is the issue. We had successfully implemented the
Pricing BADI and also did all the configuration that are related to the
DSD Pricing .
We had implemented the OSS note "1287227 - Price date status E
in /DSD/ME_DDR_STAT set incorrectly". Still the issue exists.
Any suggestions why the status is changing to Error and Master data is
not getting downloaded in to the MI Client.
We are at SP13 and I am using MI client for SP13 with path level 1 for SP 13.

This generolly happens if there is some problem in the Pricing Data.
Please disable all the Sync Bo releated to pricing and again create a tour .....
check whether u are getting the required result.
