Automatic deletion of Notes in iphone 5?
Since I bought iphone 5, all my notes got lost. I have tried to restore from icloud and itunes but nothing comes back. And as soon as I write a new note it gets lost the next day or so. Any solution? Thank you

Turn Notes on and off.
Make test from/to your iPhone and to/from your web-iCloud. (www.icloud.com from a desktop browser.)

Hello,
when I import pictures from iPhone directly to Aperture 3, I can not find a way the automatically delete the pics from iPhone after completion.
This is done in iPhoto very easily.
Anyone any idea, where / how to activate this option in Aperture 3?
I hope Aperture 3 is able to do that, otherwise it is a poor statement as Aperture should be some iPhoto prof....

Automatically delete songs from my iPhone after I get done listening to it.
I have about 30 gigs of mp3's loaded on to my iPhone 3GS. I have some smart playlists (like all songs by a particular artist) and I have synced these playlists on to my iPhone.
This is a subset of my music, and I intend to load the others after I get done listening to these.
I could listen to these through the playlists in order, or shuffle them. In any case, I would like the iPhone's iPod and/or iTunes to remove the song from my iPhone as I get done listening to it. This way, the # of songs on my iPod will gradually dwindle and eventually I'll upload another set on to it. I will also avoid listening to one song many times.
How do I do this?
Can I keep track of which songs have been played and delete them off my iPhone manually? It will be a pain to have to do this manually..I have some smart playlists that I use to fill my ipod with new music.
Such as,
Last Played is not in the past 15 days
Limit to 600MB selected by most recently added
Live Updating is checked in all of these playlists.
There are a lot of options in smart playlist criteria to help you do what you want. -
Photos automatically deletes from iPad and iPhone
I have NOT checked the box 'delete photos after import' - and yet Photos does delete all imported photos off my iPad and iPhone. Is this another hiccup of Photos that hasn't been fixed upon roll out? (OS X Yosemite).
Sorted it. I went to settings, photos and camera, turned off my photo stream and deleted photos, then turned back on my photo stream and the photos I had taken with my iPhone were on my iPad.

I'm trying to delete an album titles pictures from my photos album but can't work out how to do it. I've tried auto back up and erase which deletes other albums but not the photo album. Even selecting individual photos and selecting edit does nothing. Any tips how to erase this album would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

How can I stop music and movies from being automatically deleted from my phone and saved on the cloud? I've just tried to watch a movie on my 2 hour commute, but yet AGAIN it has been removed. I do NOT want to spank all of my data allowance downloading it again, especially because (believe it or not) I added it to my phone because that's precisely where I wanted it!! But in terms of my initial query; thanks for responding. But no, this is NOT the cause of the problem. I have auto sync and sync over wifi activated, but have also selected manually manage music and videos. Plus, all of my music and videos are on my macbook, absolutely all of it, so if it my phone was syncing with my macbook everything would still be on the phone. Life would be peachy if my phone jsut copied everything that was on my macbook, but unfortuantely it keeps deleting tracks for no apparent reason.
Any thoughts greatly welcomed, because at the moment i can only conclude that my iphone is crap. -

iTunes Match is a subscription system that allows you to upload your own music (e.g. coped from CDs) to the cloud so that it shows (in the cloud) on your devices and computers without having to sync/copy it.
Automatic downloads allows to, for example, buy an app on your computer's iTunes and have it automatically download on your phone without having to connect and sync it or go to the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your download and download it yourself - but doing that, going to the Purchased tab and redownloading an app, should get it associated.
But no, I'm not aware of any problems that not having it associated causes. -
The photos that I better (improves automatic) are saved on the iphone, but when I transfer them to my PC improvements appear no more, only on iphone. I do not understand why the improvements are just the iphone, and not continue when I transfer the photos to my PC.
Thanks.Chicky, I have searched my computer for "iPod Photo Cache" and 51 folders pop up, plus 3 files (iPodInfo.plist, Photo Database and Image DB Temp.tmp). How do I know which to delete and which to keep? The Apple website page tackling this issue doesn't go into any detail. Thanks yet again.

You could use 0 instead of 5--I also think this type of workaround is your only option.
My default rating is 2 for all songs until I've decided I don't like them or that they need to be moved up, and I only sync songs that are 2 or above (actually I generally sync the 3+ smartlist to the phone), so in my system, changing the rating to 0 would automatically get it off the phone on the next sync without me having to think about it anymore. Some variation should work with your system.
You can ask Apple for a "flag" functionality in iTunes and iPhone--I think it would be useful, too, though unlikely:

Just as photos that were taken more than 30 days ago remain on your MacBook Air, so will photos that are deleted from your iPhone.
Photos in My Photo Stream are saved on the iCloud server for 30 days.
Because your Mac and PC have more storage than your iOS devices, you can choose to download all of your My Photo Stream photos automatically.
In iPhoto or Aperture preferences on your Mac, select Photos (or Photo Stream) > My Photo Stream > Automatic Import. All of your photo stream photos will import into your Events, Projects, Photos, Faces, and Places folders in iPhoto or Aperture.

Lol no , don't own anything to sync with . Use my iPhone as a phone mostly , don't know why cos its not even good at that!! Have maybe downloaded 6 or 7 apps since I got it , I delete all mail from unknown in case of virus so don't think that's the problem. Opened iCloud account an hour ago because someone said they could be in there !! Haha think that's maybe not how it works .i have a yahoo email but never put any phone numbers there. I still have phone numbers from twenty years ago after having many phones ,have only lost the ones from the So called " Smart phone" !! Not too feckin smart if you ask me !! I have an imap account and deleted all mail from server. Once doing this all emails from my iPad -which was on a wi-fi- where automatically deleted. Fortunately these emails are still visible on my iPhone that was without connection. If I send all these emails to my iCloud account - they will remain into my outgoing folder until I open my wi-fi- …BUT will they be sent when I open my wi-fi connection, or since they are no longer on my server… be deleted for ever!?
This is how IMAP works, if you delete from one device it will also be deleted in the other devices.

If you did the backup of your notes before deleting then you can easily recover deleted notes on iPhone by the following steps:

Songs can be removed from your iPhone by tapping 'Songs,' then swiping the song, then tapping Delete.
Remove a song from iPhone. Tap Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete. The song is deleted from iPhone, but not from your iTunes library on your Mac or PC, or from iCloud.
