Automatic (EDI) vendor posting fails - can I update the IDOC mapping?

Hi -- I am testing a new intercompany sales process and having trouble with returns. The INVOIC01 IDOC for the vendor posting (document type VC - Vendor Credit FI) is failing because text is required on the line item (field SGTXT on BSEG). So it appears that the IDOC doesn't have this text field mapped.
If I can identify a field in the existing IDOC to use for the text, is there a way that I can add that mapping? For example, let's say I want to populate the BSEG text with field BELNR on segment E1EDP01, is there a way to specify in the INVOIC01 idoc that this field should be plugged into BSEG-SGTXT? I don't have EDI experience, so this is all new to me!

Hi Allison,
Since it's just for testing, just change the Text field on FI field status group become optional entry. It will solve your problem rather than modifying the standard IDOC

In fact, I have looked at those notes, already. We cannot change to INVOIC02 Idoc type.
I wonder, why SAP does not offer the functionality to update Profitability segment on the EDI Vendor posting. Transaction OBCC has Profitability segment, but giving a fixed PSEG will not meet any business requirement! EDI enhancement FEDI0001 has only EDI-FIELDS and not the IDoc segment details. There is nothing much one can do with just the EDI-FIELDS.
Have you used FEDI0001 enhancement for PSEG determination? Looks like all that one can do with FEDI0001 is move the OBCC configuration values to Coding block.

Failed to read/update the registry for the BO XI R2 Critical Hot Fix

We are trying to apply service pack 4 for the BO XI R2 Sp4 for SAP Integration Kits and received the following error message during install and unable to proceed:
"Failed to read/update the registry for the BO XI R2 Critical Hot Fix for Partner Integration Kits"
We had applied a Critical Hot Fix about one week ago and it might be causing the error. How do we uninstall the Critical Hot Fix if it is indeed causing the problem?
Additionally, we have uninstalled the Integration Kit and reinstalled it hoping it will solve the problem but it didn't.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you could, because in this case you would have something like a backup in the cloud. BTW, personally I also like Flickr. Flickr offers you 1 TB (1000 GB) of free storage and automatic upload for photos since iOS 7 (it is a very attractive offer, at least for me)

I don't think that a software update from Apple will solve the issues that you are having. You have a rogue installation. After you posted I have just done the following:
Disk Utility can verify my partitioned Volume (including my boot disk) AND REPAIR the non-boot disks on the same Volume without a glitch. It repairs the non-boot disks containing data smoothly.
I have used Mail to send some mails from some Yahoo and Hotmail accounts to my Thunderbird client containing GMail accounts - absolutely normal.
I have iLife '09 but my iMovie '09 and iPhoto '09 open in a jiffy and I see no issues here. I have 6GB RAM (Maximum) on an early 2008 Macbook Pro with a 750GB hard drive partitioned with 120GB reserved for the Boot Drive.
I am sorry that I cannot help further but I am sure there must be a way to reinstall the software without having to revert to restoring your ML backup. I have two clones and if you have such I would attempt to do that through that rather than through Time Machine - that is of course if you have a cloned drive.

OBPM version : 10.3.2 (weblogic Enterprise version)
How can I update the project variables from the External process?
I per my knowledge we use termination wait activity and notify the same from the external process. I am successfully do this but I am facing the performance issue with this and sometimes even data sources pool is getting exhausted.
Could you please tell me is there any other way to update the project variables?

I do not disagree with Mark about using Message Waits to update project variables. I'm right in the middle of logic right now that is doing just that.
If you have thousands (or in your case millions) of instances to update all at once, you might want to also want to consider another approach. I obviously do not know your process and sure you've thought of this, but you could use a database to store this same information that you are currently using project variables for. You'd need a table that has the instance's unique id (e.g. case id, loan number, claim number) as the primary key and then have columns to store the information you are currently storing in project variables.
Taking this approach, you'd be updating the milliions of rows in the database very quickly. You could still have project variables in your process, but they would be set at the beginning of a Screenflow or in an Automatic activity using a SELECT statement against the database table using the unique id of the instance as the key.

Can't update the latest CC app (April 2015 - Photoshop CC2014 & BridgeCC)

I use Macbook with latest OS updated.
I can't update the latest app (April 2015 - Photoshop CC2014 & BridgeCC).
Every time i've tried, the error occurred as you can see images attached.
I've also tried uninstall and reinstall both apps, but same problem persists.
It's few days since these updates show up, but until now I still can't update.

Can't update the firmware of my GT70 2OC (Problems with your firmware)

I can't update the last firmware of GT70 2OC, the guide says run file ecwin.bat as administrator and it will automatically choose which folder of (352x & 353x) is the right one for my notebook and it will run automatically.. well it doesn't do that and it show me this

So, which folder is the right one for the GT70 2OC ? (352x or 353x) ?
Because I can just run the winflash.exe from anyone of them.
BTW Norton removed "Autoflash.exe" it detected it as a medium risk and bad reputation -_-

if you are sure that you reflashed to the wrong one,
then reflash to correct one, there are 2 choices only
ie: if your current is .7xx and you have issues some keys not working or other not working stuffs, then reflash to .5xx

Can't update the OS

On my Mac, 10.6 is installed. And I can't update the OS, neither automatically (S.U.app) nor manually (Combo Update). S.U. does not find any updates, the 10.6.2 Combo Update cannot be used on this computer.
Thus, I can't use Safari 4.0.3 that is necessary for using the iTunes Store...

Make sure that you have downloaded the correct version of the combo update. One is for the server version of the OS, an entirely different OS from the normal Snow Leopard one, & it is easy to confuse the two.
Also, how much free space is on your startup volume? You need several GB free for scratch space just to do the update.

As it stands today... the first (primary) iPhone associated with the iTune acct has been updated with the latest software version 5.1.1 and sync'd up with all the apps, music, etc from the one iTune acct, while the other two iPhones are still running on the original software version 4.0.2 and are experiencing problems now. I was advised by AT&T back in January that it would be necessary to setup separate iTunes accts for the second and third iPhones in order to receive system updates. The problem would be how to keep all the apps, etc from being deleted off the second and third phones that were originally loaded from the one iTunes acct. Since this AT&T advice was prior to iCloud coming out, would iCloud be a better solution or at least part of the solution? I really don't yet understand how iCloud works. You'll probably have to call CSS on this one as this not normal by any means. The messages you noted above are completely normal but if that's all you are seeing then there's an issue.
Have you reviewed wcm.log and wsusctrl.log?
