Automatic elimination of holding co investments with subsid share capital

Hi all,
I have the following common scenario, before elimination of share capital
                                  Co A (Holding)                   Co B (100 % owned by A)
Investments                      5000
Cash                                7000                          5000
Share Capital                  8000                            2000
Share Premium              4000                             3000
Obviously, at consolidation the Consolidated Balance Sheet should look like the following with everything eliminated
Cash                     12000
Share Capital         8000
Share Premium      4000
(the investment in Co A eliminated against the Share Capital of its 100% owned subsid)
My question is, how do I set this up in BPC, in the automatic elimination rules. I understand how to move the equity to a group share account, but this doesn't eliminate the share capital and the investment and I need to keep the detail. i.e. I don't want the whole of the share capital (including the share capital of the holding co) and the investment to go into one Group reserves account I don't want to do it by journal, but want to do it in the consolidation rules,

Hi Justyna,
Yes, business rules are the best approach for this. They are flexible, easy to maintain, are mostly quicker than logic, and can actually do some things logic (usually in NW) cannot do.
For investment elims and equity elims you will need to use the Automatic Adjustments business rule tables. In doing so you should aim to separate these adjustments from "Input" data into different data sources to differentiate the postings.

Yes, you can. You can configure the Side Switch (above the volume button) either as Mute switch or Rotation lock.
Settings > General > Use Side Switch to: choose what you like the Side Switch to function as.

Log in to your account, and move all your files to your home folder. No other users should be able to access them there and they won't show up with a Spotlight search.
Make sure your kids' account(s) do not have admin privileges.

Automatic creation of meter reading order with RR 01 after move in

Hi Experts,
I am working with DM module of SAP ISU. Currently I am facing a problem that after move-in a periodic order with RR 01 is created automatically by the system.
Ex: Move in date is 01.01.2010. Monthly Portion is used with Schedule record 01.01.2010, 01.02.2010, 01.03.2010, 01.04.2010 and so on.
If current system date is 20.07.2010 then Meter reading order is created automatically by the system for sch MRD 01.08.2010.
Please let me know how to overcome this problem

Thanks for your reply but I have cheked SPRO setting the suggested check box is already uncheked.
I beleive the setting you have suggested is meant for default meter reading during move in but my problem is automatic creation of meter reading order with reason 01 during move in

The ones sold that day will come with Snow Leopard most likely but they will be able to get a free upgrade to LIon if they apply within 30 days. Hardware coming through the supply chain from the day of the announcement will have Lion installed so it depends what stock people have to move before buyers see those.

You need to start over with Music. On the iPhone Music screen uncheck sync music. Also, on the Summary screen uncheck "Manually manage music and videos", then sync and it should clear off your phone.
Next, choose the music you want to sync. If you want to fit more on check "Convert higher bit rate songs to 128 kbps AAC". This will reduce quality slightly, but it won't be noticable unless you are using $300 headphones.

Hi Renee,
What seems to me is its due the treatment as per different GAAPs. Some of the GAAP require direct share and others group share for calculation og GW. If you only consider the direct share then the GW is calculated only as per that share. However if you consider the group share then the calculation of GW will be based on the total holding in the group. In the example given probably the immediate parent company is not held 100% withing the group. That means the GW of the subsidiary will be diff based on the fact whether you are looking at direct share (share of imme. parent in the subs) or grp share (share of imme. parent in the subs*share of grp in the parent).

SCCM 2012 report on computers with local shares and share permissions

Very new to SCCM 2012, want to put together a report to show computers with local shares and the permissions on those shares (for security purposes, need to investigate any systems that have open shares_.
Managed to add and now collecting information that populates v_gs_share and I have a handle on the report itself, just wondering how to collect the share permissions - I've seen other qustions on the boards that are similar but reference earlier versions
of SCCM so wondering how to do it in 2012.

So, where are you at? The script is running, and the clients have the data in their local WMI namespace, root\cimv2\sms_sharepermissions ?
So all that's left is to modify hardware inventory to pull that custom WMI Namespace in? If so, it's not too horrid. Take note of a workstation (or server) to which you have remote rights to; and which has run the script, so that on THAT specific
machine, root\cimv2\SMS_SharePermissions exists.
In your CM12 Console, Administration, Client Settings. Right-click "Default Client Settings", Properties. On the left, select "hardware inventory". then on the right, Set classes..., now the fun part.
Add...
Connect..., and put in ThatServerOrWorkstation (for computername), and wmi namespace is root\cimv2. Click the option "recursive", Connect. (the trick here is rights to the target).
From the results, it might be easiest to click on "classname" at the top for sorting, then go find SMS_SharePermissions. Select that, ok ok ok ok (however many times you need to agree); and... we're done here. Sit and wait for inventory to report
that data up. If you're paranoid, you can monitor dataldr.log; and force policy refreshes and hinv deltas on some boxes; but the key is patience. if you think you've waited long enough; you probably haven't. ;)

And, of course, so are new purchases. The content appears automatically in the Purchased tab in iTunes, iBooks, or the App Store for each family member. Just select the family member whose collection you’d like to browse, then download or play the content you choose. Other family members can access your collection in the same way. If you want to keep some purchases private, you can choose to hide individual items.

How to automatic post the profit OR loss to Short term Capital gain / Long term capital gain on posting of Sales transaction ?
Incase the inventory item is less than one year older then the difference should be posted to the G/L of Short term Capital gain, where as if the item is more than one year older then the difference should be posted to the G/L of Long term Capital gain

I don't think any logic can be used to reach your goal. How B1 system should post in such a fussy conditions?
In case the inventory item is less than one year older then the difference should be posted to the G/L of Short term Capital gain
How can you identify these items? An inventory is a moving concept like a river. It come and goes with all different ways even as to value and revalue them.
Please follow the common sense to face reality.
