Automatic language change in Windows version

So far the only answer I read is to REINSTALL the broser??? Come on!!
Windows is finally coming out of the stone age on what concerns multiligual users, something that mac os does for ages. And Firefox for Mac actually does language switch transparently.
When are you planing to add this feature to the windows (7/8) version? In this day and age, specially in Europe, speaking 2 or 3 languages, more than desired is a NEED!!

Trial versions use the system's default language or the one they were downloaded in. You need to download the correct version and install it.

Just deactivate yor old machine install if its your second install so there is a activation available for when you install CS6 on you new 64 Bit system. By default CS6 install will install both the 64 bit and 32 bit versions of Photoshop. Be aware if your using third party plug-ins you need to make sure you install 32 bit version into the Photoshop 32 bit version tree and 64 bit versions in the Photoshop 64 bit tree Plug-ins folders

If I purchased Creative Suite 5 for mac osx is it possible to change to windows version?

I purchased the Creative Suite Master Collection back in 2010 and have been running it on my macbook pro. However I've had to get a desktop to run more powerful media software.
Is there any way that I can move my purchased software to use with Windows? I don't have thousands of dollars to re buy these products just to work on a different computer. I have the installation disks for mac, what can I do? Am I basically screwed?

You need to upgrade to CS6 and make the platform switch or sign up for Creative Cloud.

Unfortunately you cannot swap from DW CS5 Win to DW CS5 Mac.
Your serial number is specific to Windows and cannot be used on a Mac.
You would have to pay to upgrade to CS6 for Mac (known as a crossgrade)

I've never heard of anything called "Windows 2008". There's 98, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7, and 8. Could you give more detail about what exactly you are talking about?

I think you would have to ask on a Windows forum, as it has nothing to do with the Mac. I know some Windows versions only come in one language at a time, so you have to get a separate version to change it. But it may be easier with the newer ones.

No. The whole point of the special licensing is that it's meant to support people in education or else the low price wouldn't exactly make sense - if everyone just bought used edu licenses, Adobe would bankrupt in a predictable timeframe.

Change primary language in online Windows 8.1

Hi all,
is there a way to change windows 8.1´s primary language via script?
After deploying o standard en-us image at every site of our company, we add site-specific language packs using lpksetup.exe commandline.
On Windows 7, we were able to change default language (which seems to be called primary language in Windows 8.1) using and xml file as described here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-ie/goglobal/bb964650%28en-us%29.aspx
With Windows 8.1 this doesn´t seem to work anymore - does anybody know another way of doing it?

thanks for your answers but that´s not what i was looking for.
My Scenario is to deploy Windows 8.1 in a multinationaly environment. I had planned to have only one english image (no language packs at all) for all clients.
Depending on the clients site, i´d add the needed language packs afterwards via commandline (lpksetup.exe) and set the default UI Language and Inputlanguage for the machine. Adding the languagepacks (using lpksetup.exe or dism.exe) does add the package to
the local store, nut I still need do do these steps manually:
1. Add the language in the control panel applet to make it visible in the list of available languages (at least windows knows that the files are there)
2. Make one language the primary one
3. Choose an input language
4. Copy those settings for all users
It can´t be the only way to do offline servicing and redeploy the windows image to all distribution points everytime we need a new language for a new site.
Also, it´s not an option to let the user do the work, clicking through control panel applets.
Is there a way, to do Steps 1 to 4 via commandline in a running Windows installation (DISM doesn´t support any online installation)?

You can download Windows language pack as Windows 7 for Windows 8, 8.1. In addition, you also can download the language pack as you like in Control Panel in Windows 8.x.

Install CS6 on your Mac (no need to install CS5.5 first), enter your CS6 (Mac) upgrade serial number then enter your CS5.5 (Win) serial number when prompted.

Lelisa it is only necessary to connect to the internet periodically to receive updates and validate your membership. If you have an annual membership you can be offline for up to 99 days. You can find additional details at Activation & Deactivation Help.
I would also recommend reviewing Creative Cloud Help | Install, update, or uninstall apps which discusses adjusting the installation language.
