Automatic mail sending freezes outlook 2013

I have a brand new laptop with fresh installation of Office Home and Business 2013, and there is a problem i can't wrap my head around it.
User takes his laptop home, writes 10+ mails and sends them, they lay down in outbox till tomorrow, where he comes to work, connects to network and then problems start to arise.
Mails and attachments never exceed more than 1 or 2 mb's and its usually one at that size...
Problem; user connects laptop to network and Outlook freezes for 15-30 minutes, later on unfreezes and mails are sent (it is sending them in freezed period), after that everything works just fine..
I have reinstalled office, removed profile, checked for plugins there are none, problem still not resolved.
Anyone has any idea?

So no one has any idea, or maybe i used bad english, if so please ask i will clarify if missed something

Based on your description, users can move messages that don’t contain attachments to any other folders without any problem( not only subfolder of the Inbox ), and there is problem to move messages that contains attachment to whatever folders, right?
Please check this issue in OWA.
Please use the 'Move' operation from the context menu of the item to check this issue in Outlook.
Please switch to a PC not joined your domain to check this issue.

Multiple exchange e-mail accounts in outlook 2013

Hello. I'm trying to set-up two exchange e-mail accounts in outlook 2013 (Exchange server is synchronized with Active Directory).
Once I add second account and restart outlook I get password prompt from each of the accounts. And it keeps prompting all the time and one of the accounts do not work. Could you please assist me on how to set-up those multiple exchange e-mail accounts correctly

Setup the second Exchange account in one profile would always keep prompting usernam/password. This is limitation of Outlook profile.
To work around this, I recommand that you may use the tool as below:

IDOC - Automatic Mail Sending

Hi All,
Basically I need to remove the automatic mail sending feature in the IDOC, please give me the solution, whether it is standard functionality, or is there any user exit to avoid.
If it is a Standard functionality then mention the Std. Program name or
If it is from userexit then plz mention the Exit name.

think u need to check tcode swu3 for automatic workflow customizing and check in we40 (error AND STATUS PROCESSING) whether the processing code is assigned to the workflow task.
if it is assigned,the workflow will be automatically triggered and the mail will be sent to the user by itself.
ALE error handling uses workflow. A standard task is provided for each message type. Task TS20000051 is used for all BAPIs.
Workflow functions as follows:
A task (work item) is generated for the error handling and stored as a message in the inboxes of the employees responsible.
If one of these employees processes the work item, the standard task method for error handling is started. The user can, for example, restart IDoc processing.
If the IDoc is processed successfully, the work item is deleted from the inboxes of all the employees involved.
For this procedure to function, the employees responsible for a particular message type and partner (sender or receiver) must be defined as follows:
1. A hierarchy of organizational units (for example, "sales office") and positions (for example, "customer officer for customer X") is created and employees are assigned to it.
2. The standard tasks for error handling (for example, an error related to an inbound sales order) are assigned to the relevant organizational units or positions (for example, "sales office").
3. The organizational unit, position or employee responsible for dealing with the error are specified for each partner and message type in the partner profiles.
If an error occurs, the system determines:
1. The employees responsible using the staffing schedule of the organizational unit or position linked to the standard task.
2. The employees defined in the partner profiles (using position, user ID, or organizational unit).
3. The employees appearing in both groups represent those who will receive a work item in their inboxes.

I think there is no possible way to check if the mail is sent was from Outlook or OWA.

It actually is possible for an admin to tell if a message was sent from Outlook or OWA by looking at the MessageTracking and the information in
SourceContext. MOMT is Outlook and the other two speaks for them self.

I USE W 8.1 - YAHOO - OULOOK 2013.
YAHOO IS CONTINUALLY RECEIVING DELAY AND NON DELIVERY MESSAGES FROM THE HOTMAIL POSTMASTER.
THEY REFER TO EMAILS THAT I HAVE SENT AND ARE NOT SPAM NOR HAVE THE ADDRESSEES RECEIVED THEM.
THESE DELAY AND NON DELIVERY MESSAGES DO NOT COME IN TO MY OUTLOOK 'IN' BOX?
IN ADDITION A BT MAIL ICON HAS APPEARED ON MY START SCREEN WHOSE CONTENTS ARE A MIRROR IMAGE OF MY YAHOO EMAILS BOTH IN AND OUT - WHY?
MANY SEEM TO THINK W 8.1 AND OUTLOOK 2013 DO NOT WORK WELL TOGETHER AND ITS BETTER TO USE WLM?
ANY ADVICE AND GUIDANCE WOULD BE MOST WELCOME.

It is quite easy to set up WLM and just try it and see if there is any improvement. You needn't delete anything from Outlook 2013.
PS You seem to have hit the Caps Lock key.

How to export apple mail to Windows outlook 2013

Is there any possible solution available to export all my data from apple mail to windows systen in outlook 2013.
There are tons of emails that I have managed to save in the past 12 years (believe me there are a lot of them with multiple attachments) and I do not ant to loose any one of them. I Just want to move them to my windows system in outlook 2013 for which I could not find any particular solution.
On the other hand outlook 2013 is unablr to sync all my emails via Imap. It shows multiple errors which I am not able to figure out. PLease suggest any simpler method which posses minimum hassles. Thanks

Watching this long discussion I couldn't resist myself to share my view on this topic. Once in a while I too had the same problem and I had to transfer a **** lot of emails from Apple Mail client to Windows Outlook. Imap failed and was of no use for some stupid mail crashing reason. I searched for manual work-arounds and posted many queries on various mac forum sites (including this one). I received many responses as solutions for manual process but none of them could transfer my emails from apple mail to outlook.
I knew about the email converters but never wanted to pay a single penny for them but unfortunately I had too. I bought this apple mail to pst converter mentioned by TON456 and after archiving apple mail data and moving it to windows system, it took the application only three clicks to convert the email file format to the desired one that outlook can import (i.e, .PST). I saw no point in buying the tool but its the fault of email client makers for not providing the proper import/export means (seems kind of mean to me, as they need us to stick to their client only). Big companies like apple and microsoft should figure out this situation and provide free solutions.
On the other hand if Imap crashes (as mine did too) then users like us have no options other than email converters. Though they are costly but there is no help to user in pointing out those solution posts.
To the thread starter I would suggest to go with Imap mail configuration but if it still doesn't work then using the apple mail to pst converter is only way left. Thanks.

Problem Exporting Windows Live Mail 2012 To Outlook 2013 (Office 365 32 bit)

Hi-
When I try to export my WLM to Outlook 2013, it hangs at the same record every time (record 55 of 2600+ -- that's just one folder, but the largest folder.) I probably have 10,000 emails in WLM.
It does not seem to be taking the emails from oldest to newest, so I cannot tell which email is tripping it up. I assume if it only made it to #55 of 10k, there are many more hang up points as well. I was exporting all folders. I was able to export a single,
very small folder successfully (30 emails.)
I tried exporting just the large folder by itself but it still hung at #55.
Any help in diagnosing/fixing would be greatly appreciated. WLM is a nightmare -- I have been paying the price ever since OE went away. I want to be rid of it once and for all.

Hi Brian,
First, I'd recommend you check if there are some large emails in the large folder. You can sort the emails by size to find those large emails. Then, just move these large emails to a subfolder and try exporting the rest emails into Outlook to see
the result.
In addition, we can use the following method to import as many as possible emails in the large folder into your Outlook:
1. In Windows Live Mail, create a subfolder under the large folder.
2. Move half of emails from the large folder to the subfolder.
3. Export the large folder and the subfolder separately into Outlook. This will help us determine which half part of the emails may hang the process.
4. Repeat above steps for the problematic half part of emails.
Since this issue is also related to Windows Live Mail, you can also post your question in the forum for Windows Live Mail to see if we can get any good suggestions:

I can't email pdf's from Adobe professional 11.0.5 using default mail client Microsoft Outlook 2013 32 bit

I am using Adobe Professional v 11.0.5 and have moved from Microsoft Outlook 2010 to 2013 now I am unable to e-mail pdfs directly to local configured mail client. As a work around I have to save file to desktop and place as an attachment in newly composed e-mail. What needs to be done here to resolve? Thanks

In your Acrobat Preferences under Email Accounts, click Add Account>Other
In the Add Webmail Account window, input your email account details
Under Advanced Settings, configure your incoming and outgoing ports and security settings per your email account
Click OK, and then click Add. In the window, click the email account you just added and click "Make Default"
When it's set as the default mail account you'll see a check mark

I have configured send as and send on behalf for one user but when he sends mail he gets that mail in his sent box. Is it possible if I send mail as someone else that that person get mail in his sent box becuase I am sending mail as him?

How to send mails with a specified format automatically after a stipulated no of days when the user does not access a file/page.

1. In your web application, have a database that keeps track of when a user accesses a page.
2. Once a day, run a program that scans that database looking for cases when a user has not accessed a page for N days, or whatever your criterion is. Use JavaMail to send an e-mail message to each of those users.

Error in SOST Transaction - Mail Sending to OUTLOOK

Hi Experts,
I have a Requirement where, I am sending mails from Workflows to OUTLOOK. Mails are Going absolutely fine for some Cases, but in some Cases it ends up in Error in SOST Trnsaction.
Is there a limit to the E-Mail Address.. to which mails are being sent..!!
From the SU01 and BP Transaction, I can see that E-Mail ID Field is 241 Characters..
In the Address Strings in the E-Mail ID Container element...which stores E-mail ID..its 241 characters..!!
When the Mail from the WF goes, it shows in SOST and from there it ends in Error. The Receipient Address Field in SOST is 35 Characters but it shows only 30 Characters.
When I check the WF Log, the Address String Container Element also fetches 30 Characters, whereas it si 241 Characters long.
Can you please let me know..where else I am missing.

Since the field length is of 35 characters, it shows the mail id only up to 35 characters in SOST, but this do not affect sending the mails(happening in my case).There should be some other reason why the mails are ending up in error.Please check the mail ids.

When a goods receipt against a PO (movement type 101) is done into any plant , an e-mail should be sent to [email protected] stating:
