Automatic mapping bug in mainstage slave mode

Recently we have a setup with ableton (and which we control with a BCR-midi controller).
As rewire slave we have mainstage 2.1.1 with USB garagekey and a novation remote.
While we are using the BCR-knobs in Ableton, mainstage seems to have automapped the knobs and buttons to some of our ffx in the ES and B4. Also the main-fader in mainstage seems to be affected. Is there any change to avoid this serious problem? We havnt found a way to turn the BCR off in mainstage.
Thx!

in short:
Is there a way to turn usb-controllers OFF in mainstage?

You explicity claimed that "all 400 stations are missing" in Apple Maps. I only needed to locate one to prove you wrong. Instead, I proved you doubly wrong. I didn't realize I needed to prove you triply-wrong. Oh well...
Naming subway stops is not Apple's responsibility and obviously not London's strenths. The pin shows the general location of "hammersmith".
Okay I am in Holloway road, where is the nearest station to me?, if I don't know the name I cant find the station.  I know there are 6 but Apple does not show any of them
When I enter "holloway road london", I get a bunch of pins and the first one that automatically gets selected is the subway station. Since that is one of "any of them", you have been proved wrong 4 times over.
Etre have you ever been out and used walking maps? I think you need specsavers
Do you actually own an iPhone? Are you aware it has GPS? Have you really ever actually tried it? Because when I manually nagivate to one end of Holloway road and search for "underground", I get this:
Strangely, if I go to the other end of the street and do the same thing, I get an entirely different station:
I wonder what would happen if I did a similar search for "underground" while zoomed in on the "hammersmith" pin?
Well what do you know? But how would I ever get there? Hmmm, you mentioned "walking maps". Maybe I should try walking directions from "hammersmith" to one of the underground stations.
By my count, I have proved your anti-Apple Maps misinformation to be wrong 6 times over. Wanna try for a lucky seven?

  • Can't get Reason 4 to enter slave mode to Logic Pro 7!!

I'm using Logic Pro 7 and Reason 4 on a 1.83 GHz iMac Intel Core Duo. Also, I'm using an M-Audio Keystation 49e via USB as my MIDI input, and it works great with Reason when it stands alone.
Obviously, I load Logic first. But then, when I open Reason, it won't enter slave mode. If I use GarageBand as the "Master", Reason automatically enters slave mode when opened and works fine. I've searched the interweb over and had no luck. Any solutions? Thanks.

Ok. Disregard the last question. I have a new one. Turns out, all I needed to do was update LP7 to 7.1.1. Now, I have a new problem. When I try to open Reason 4, I get the message: "Cannot Open Reason Engine...Please reinstall to make sure the reason engine is properly installed". Not sure what to do about this one. Any help is enormously appreciated.

  • Reason 3 won't start in Slave mode

    Hello,
I've used Reason as slave to Cubase on a PC for a long time so am familiar with how it works. However I have recently switched to Logic and Mac but have failed to get Reason to even start in Slave/Rewire mode with both Logic Express 7 and Logic Pro 8. Obviously I am starting Logic first, then Reason. But reason just starts up in its normal mode.
Am I missing some basic setting? Do I need to enabled Rewire somewhere in the preferences, or is there some driver I need? Sorry if I'm overlooking something really silly, but I haven't managed to find anything about this on forums.
    Cheers,
    Simon

    Hi there,
My problem isn't really setting up the connections. I can't get Reason to even start in ReWire mode! You know how there are two lights on the hardware interface saying whether it's in slave mode or built in audio output? If you first start Logic and then Reason it should slave mode right?
I think once I have it slave mode I'll be fine setting up the connections, but this particular problem doesn't seem to be covered anywhere!
    I'm using Reason 3.0 (build 514).

  • OSX 10.9.1 macbook pro 13 retina - wifi does not reconnect automatically when waking up from sleep mode since I have a Bluetooth apple magicmouse

    Hello,
My config is OSX 10.9.1 new macbook pro 13 retina (2014).
The wifi does not reconnect automatically when waking up from sleep mode since I have a Bluetooth apple magicmouse.
It was not the case before I bought the BT mouse.
Is this problem between Wifi and bluetooth coming from the OS?
Is there a fix already available or scheduled?
    Thanks

    Hello alexandrefromfrance
Check the Symptom: The network connection drops unexpectedly section for steps on what to do when your MacBook Pro does not connect after waking from sleep. I have also quoted the section on troubleshooting the issue as well.
Wi-Fi: How to troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4628
Symptom: After restarting or waking from sleep, my computer might not connect to the Internet
After waking from sleep or starting up, your computer may not show that it is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
After start or wake, your computer may indicate that it is connected to a network, but does not connect to the Internet.
    Solution
Use these steps if your computer does not automatically connect to your desired Wi-Fi network.
Check your TCP/IP settings in the Network pane of the System Preferences. Click the "Renew DHCP lease" button
Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.
Choose Network from the View menu.
Select Wi-Fi, then click the Advanced button in the lower-left hand corner of the screen.
Click the TCP/IP tab from the top of the screen.
Click the "Renew DHCP lease" button.
Select the Wi-Fi tab and view your Preferred Networks list.
Select each network and click the minus sign to remove those networks from your Preferred Networks list.
Click OK and close the Network preferences.
Remove your stored network passwords using the Keychain Access Utility.
Open Keychain Access from /Applications/Utilities. Your window will look like this:
Remove your AirPort network passwords from the login keychain: Select the "login" keychain from the Keychain sidebar. Click the "Kind" column to order the list of keychain items by their type. Remove all entries of the kind: "AirPort network password".
Remove your AirPort network passwords from the System keychain: Select the "System" keychain from the Keychain sidebar. Click the "Kind" column to order the list of keychain items by their type. Remove all entries of the kind: "AirPort network password".

Note: The above steps will remove your Wi-Fi network passwords. If you do not know them, or if your network does not use passwords to restrict access, you should contact your network administrator.
    Restart your computer.
Join your Wi-Fi network. You will need to enter your password for your network again if it requires one.
    Regards,
    -Norm G.

  • Automatic Mapping Process

Guys, is there any way to make the automatic mapping process in OWB ?
So, we needn't have to start the mapping process manually but otherwise it would start when the source schema have a new data (in my case : a new data in a view).
    Thanks in advance,
    Davis

Based on the initial statement that this wants to be triggered when new data is discovered in a view, this - to me - implies that there is a single view and probably just one or two mappings that he want to run when the data changes, and that this new data is arriving at an indeterminate time.
You could always write a simple little pl/sql program that checks the view for new data, and when new data is found manually calls the mapping (lots of threads here on calling mappings from PL/SQL if you don't know how), and when not found exits.
You then just schedule this program to run every hour, or 15 minutes, or whatever, and let it go. When new data appears, it will be loaded through the mapping next time the schedule runs.
Just a thought on a fairly simple solution.

  • Zynq SPI Slave mode receive error

    Hi,
We are using SPI-0 as master (uses SS-0) and SPI-1 as slave (uses SS-0) on our custom Zynq-7020 board. We have verified SPI-0 interface but SPI-1 does not seem to receive anything. Even when we set internal SPI-to-SPI loopback mode (through SLCR MIO-LOOPBACK reg.) SPI-1 receives nothing. We can reach registers of SPI-1 correctly so we assume SPI-1 is clocked properly. But after transmission completed, there is no change in status register of SPI-1 and Rx FIFO reads return all 0x00s. Any similar experience or suggestions for using PS SPI in slave mode or using both PS SPI peripherals?
    Regards, Zafer.

SPI-0 uses MIO[40...45], SPI-1 uses MIO[46...51], MDIO uses MIO[52...53] and Eth-0 uses MIO[16...27], so yes, both SPIs and MDIO can be configured without any conflict.

  • My phone automatically toggles between silent and ringer mode. How to fix ?

my phone automatically toggles between silent and ringer mode. How to fix ?

    Hey there Sam1011,
It sounds like you are not flipping the side switch but the phone keeps muting and unmuting by itself.
I would start by toggling the side switch manually to mute, then unmute. Then evaluate it for a bit. If the issue persists, reset the phone with this article and test the issue.
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
If your device stops responding, you can reset it by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
If the issue persists I would next backup your phone to iTunes and then restore it:

  • Mapping parameters in Mainstage

Hey I'm having trouble mapping parameters to my midi keyboard in Mainstage.
I have an M-Audio Oxygen 49 midi controller and I tried clicking on something i want to control (reverb level) and then map parameter, and then I tried moving a fader on my keyboard to send a midi message, and then map parameter again but this did not work.
    Any help would be appreciated.

First step of trouble shooting: does the keyboard actually work? Open any template concert - do you get a confirmation (An alert with "Select Preset #1" or so?) that the keyboard was recognized? Go to layout mode and check if all knobs actually react to your keyboard without any mappings.
If they work, go to edit mode and map the parameter to whatever you want. It should work. You can test this with the template concerts that are shipped with MainStage.

  • Wacom Tablet Mapping Bug Only in Photoshop

I am using a Graphire Wireless Wacom Tablet on a Windows 7 PC at work. I installed the most recent drivers, and it works flawlessly in a duel monitor setup, and I have no trouble mapping it however I would like.
This is all great until I launch Adobe Photoshop (CS4). Upon launch of the program there is some kind of bug, and suddenly the mapping acts as if both displays were squished into only the primary display. I can toggle between displays, and instead of toggling between display 1, 2, and both, it toggles between the left and right half of the screen and the whole screen. The other monitor is still functioning normally, only the mapping of the tablet is effected, and as soon as I close Photoshop, it reverts back to normal.
I did find one posting with the same problem, but it was resolved my installing the updated drivers, which I already have, and the discussion was closed. Any help I can get would be great.

Wacom has per-appliation settings, and somewhere you've changed the tablet mapping for Photoshop.
Photoshop does not know about the tablet mapping, only the Wacom driver knows about and controls the tablet mapping.
Check the Wacom control panel/preferences.  If you can't figure it out, contact Wacom technical support.

  • Has anyone noticed this V-Drums mapping bug in Drum Designer?

    Hi guys
There seems to be a bug in the v-drums mapping for Drum Designer... wondering if anyone else has noticed this?
On standard Roland V-Drums kits, the toms are mapped as follows:
    High tom: C2
    Low tom: A1
    Floor tom: G1
On some of the Drum designer kits, such as "Neo Soul" and "Retro Rock", the above tom mapping works correctly.
However, for other kits, such as "SoCal" and "Roots Kit", the low tom is played when either the low tom (A1) or the floor tom (G1) is played on the V-Drums kit.
It appears that for some reason, there are some kits such as the two mentioned above, that are mapped incorrectly so that the same low tom sound is played when the drummer is either hitting the low tom or the floor tom. I am using a standard Roland TD12 kit.
I've raised this as a bug using Apple's "Logic Feedback" page - hopefully they will check it out soon!
    Cheers,
    Mike

There are 2 work arounds for this situation.
    - edit the midi note sent by the module to set it to F1 (kit - inst - F4 - F5 - note number)
    - insert a midi transformer between your Roland module and the drummer track in logic's midi environnement window
The second option is more tricky but it opens up a whole word of other tranformations which are worth exploring.

  • CS5.5 TLF cursor bug in RTL edit mode

    Hello,
It seems there is a bug in TLF text in CS5.5 in "editable" mode.
    to reproduce:
1.put a TLF on stage and set it to "editable".
    2. Set in 'Paragrph' section to 'Right To Left'.
    It remainsleft to right.
    3. set in 'Container and flow' to 'Right To Left' it does change direction, but if you try to put a cursor you can't.
The only way to put a cursor is on the right of the TLF.
    Ideas anyone ?

I have problem with this issue too. and it has started with flash cs5.5. in flash cs5 TLFs work fine.
It is not a solution, but by chance I have found when the MultiLine property of TLF is changed to single line textfield works fine. again I confirm the bug and wish the team make a update for that.

  • Some bugs using socks5 proxy mode

Hi, i have FireFox v28. I was develop soks5 proxy and find some bugs on FF. I use options on FF soks5 proxy at 127.0.0.1:2002 and open site https://ssl.exelab.ru/f/
Here is an packets in bytes:
[FF] 05-01-00 // FireFox say here that support one auth on free mode it's ok
    [S5] 05-00 // Soks5 accept connection in free mode
    [FF] 05-01-00-03-0D-73-73-6C-2E-65-78-65-6C-61-62-2E-72-75-01-BB // Here bugs
    Bug #1
Why FF send address type IPv6? On my system i have only two network interface what support only IPv4. IPv6 has dissabled.
    Bug #2
Wrong packet format. FireFox send only 12 bytes
    Protocol version: 05
    Command type: 01 // connect
    Reserved: 00
    Address type: 03 //IPv6
    Address: 0D-73-73-6C-2E-65-78-65-6C-61-62-2E-72-75 // has only 14 bytes
    Port: 01-BB // SSL 443
In RFC1928 (http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc1928.txt) says what IPv6 must be 16 bytes!
    Bug #3
Where FF took this address? It is not right. FF had to ask about the proxy address and address type using the command domain.
    Thanks

127.0.0.1:2002 is your home network. I will assume that you are developing the sock5 proxy on your home network.
IPV6 is backwards compatible. If it is sending or asking for IPV6 address then the site that you are navigating to has an IPV6 associated with the dns name. Do you allow IPV6 in the about:config page? (network.dns.disableipv6 set to true? )
IPv6 addresses can be 16 or fewer, so this address is fine. Also the address comes from a reverse lookup gethostname() or in the case of IPV6() a domain ip6.arpa pointer is used. What is configured in Firefox how to connect to the network? Have you manually set up the proxy ip and port?

  • Automatic MAP ( Moving average Price) in CDHDR - How to capture?

    Hi All,
I have a requirement in which changes to Moving Average price ( MAP) needs to be send to another legacy system through custom MATMAS IDOC. Now when I make a change to MAP through MR21 or MM02 these changes are written in BDCP table and a change pointers are created and hence i am able to send them through IDOC. But when for a material the MAP changes through GR,GI Oor PO changes in such cases the MAP change being an automatic change it doesn't get captured in CDHDR and CDPOS table and hence no change pointers are created. I know CDDHR and CDPOS captures manual changes and not automatic changes. Could anyone please explain me in details how this problem can be resolved.
    Thanks ,
    Ameesha

    Hello,
I doubt a GR,GI or PO can change the Moving Average Price.
It should be only through MR21.
    Please check again.
