Automatic numbering still happening though it's switched off in preferences

Problem is in the title so not sure what I can add. It's a blank document I've created as a draft for a lengthy email, headers turned off. Every time I hit the return key it sticks a number in front of the line. Anyone have any ideas, is this a known bug or am I missing something? I'm running Pages v5.5, Yosemite.

Thanks for clarifying that, good to know that this is just how it works. I must have played "just one song" from the other categories, as I have only one song in each artist at this early stage (just starting to learn about this).

Make sure you have the Latest Version of iTunes (v11.1.5) Installed on your computer

Then... Restore as New (not backup) and Re-Sync your Content.

Why is my ipad still using battery power when switched off & locked away with no one using it?

Why is my IPad still discharging battery when switched off and locked away - with no one using it? Charged it to 100% on holiday and locked in safe. 2 days later it was at 76%!

How is it "switched off"? Are you pressing the button on the top so the screen goes black? If so, that isn't shut off, but put to sleep. I will still be doing things in the background and using battery power.
To shut it fully off, press and hold the button on top, you will get a notification on the screen that says "Slide to power off". Slide the button and it will turn completly off.
If this is how you switched it off, let us know and we will see what else we can figure out.

Lost names while texting. Numbers still there though. Not all names just some

I just lost some of my contact names while texting. Some are still there while others show just their numbers now and not their names anymore. What's up with that? I did a hard reset And it still didn't fix the problem. It's been updated and also sync.

You can just rely on your locally created backup and try using the iPhone Backup Extractor tool to extract your contact data. You can easily import it back to your iPhone. Just a short question: is your iPhone jailbroken?

I have made the following customizing settings to activate customer integration with business partner, but the problem is when I create a BP with a role (FI-Customer) the customer is not created automatically.
1. Set BP Role Category for Direction BP to Customer
Roles: FLCU00 - Business Partner FI Customer (FS: BP)
FLCU01 - Business Partner Customer (FS: BP)
2. Defined the Number assignment for Direction BP to customer
4. Customer account group and numbering is also defined.
3. Created a BP with BP Role FLCU00, I can see the Customer - General Data tab, but no customer was automatically generated by the system.
Kindly let me know if any customizing I have missed.

Spaces Still On, Though Disabled in Preferences

So I set up Spaces where for instance Safari is in every space, Mail/AddressBook/iCal are in space 2, etc... I then decided to turn spaces off. Even after the 10.5.1 update (this happens in 10.5 too) I can move within the spaces I set up via the keyboard shortcuts, plus the apps I assigned are still linked though Enable Spaces in the Spaces preference pane is unchecked.
Is this the correct behavior? At first I was confused after logging back in and launching Mail, seeing that it was open in the menu bar, but the app was no where to be seen. Shouldn't the bindings be ignored if Spaces is disabled?

Is anyone able to reproduce this, if it is in-fact a bug?
1) Enable Spaces
2) Assign apps
3) Disable Spaces
4) Attempt to navigate through and launch apps that reside in those spaces

HT1766 automatic backup to icloud what does switched off mean? power off?

automatic backup says phone should be 'switched off'. does this mean short close at the top or power off?

I just reviewed HT1766 (the document where you originated your post) and even used the browser search feature but nowhere could I find the words "switched off."
The only statement I could find was: "Automatically backup your camera roll, accounts, documents, and settings when this iPhone is plugged in, locked, and connected to Wi-Fi."
The above statement does list the correct requirements for automatic backup. Where are you seeing "switched off"?

Hello guys!! Please help me if someone knows what should I do. My iphone was working perfectly so far but a couple of days ago it stopped charging, its not charging neither with the a/c adapter and with the usb through my pc. It says device not recognized.. Today I had my iphone switched off and tried to see if it was charging and actually it was! But it didn't show that it was actually charging (the battery icon with the bolt didnt appear..but after 3 hours it was fully charged..but this happens only when its switched off..so i cant connect on itunes and i cant charge it while its turned on!! If someone knows please help!!!!!
I tried different cables and different computers and nothing. I can't restore because it's no recognized...

Hi, my iphone 4 was working fine a couple of days ago, but suddenly i plugged the device to my laptop and after a while i realized it wasnt charging, i have tested on a lot of computers but i got the same issue, even on a mac but its not detected.
So finally i turned off and after a while i realized the phone was fully charged, at least i found a temporary solution to this problem but its really anoying to switch off to charge the phoen, if you solve this problem please let us know, apple should fix this problem.

Call going to bluetooth volume even when bluetooth switched off..

More often than not during incoming or outgoing call the call gets routed through bluetooth even though bluetooth is switched off.This results is call disruptions thereby the other party can't here what i'm saying...This is a new problem that has cropped up off late...using kitkat version...I earlier used to have a problem with proximity sensor not working, which got solved after a factory reset. I now don't have d time to conduct another reset...Help please
P.s-Solutions other than factory reset or updation to lollipop..

When copying music from my MacBook to my iPad 1 it always puts the playlists into shuffle mode even though this is switched off in my MacBook. Is there a setting on the iPad that I am missing. Thanks

When you open the iPod app, if you tap on a song to begin playing, in the view where you see the album art covering the screen, tap on the album art and the iPod controls appear. Tap on the two intertwined arrows in the upper right. If the arrows are blue - shuffle is turned on- if they are white - shuffle is turned off.

If it is jailbroken, we are not allowed to help you with that here. You'll need to seek out other sources of help. The jailbreaking could potentially be part of the problem, for all I know.
