Automatic offer under possible offers in HRBEN0001

Hi,
I have doubt.Automatic offer is shown when all the adjustment reasons are configured.
My client requirment is autmomatic offer should display only when newhire enrollment adjustment reason is done.
when we do other adjustment reason like adhoc adjustments,newchild ... automatic offer should not show under possible offers in hrben0001.
Please suggest me how to solve this issue.

I am still wary of lurking problems!

EVen if there is no way to backup, what is the system file for Firefox that stores these, so i can transfer this file or open it in an XML or similar editor to copy them out?

The permissions.sqlite file stores 'allow' and 'block' exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, and extensions (software) installation.

One Customer ist a stright bookkeeper. Hi only likes to book in the journal and won't use the banking wizzard.
Is there a possibility, that there will be automaticly an offer with the outstanding items of the business-partner when making a journal-entry like:

When you make a journal entry, i'll get an offer of the outstanding items from the BP an i can choose, where i'll subtract the payed amount from.
I see, there is no standard possibility to do so in SBO.

E72 - WLAN AP automatically added under Internet d...

Hi Folks
My E72 (091.004) always got one WLAN AP automatically cloned from destionation "Intranet" into "Internet". No idea why this could happen.
Here is the background.
I got two WLAN connections at home, hence two WLAN APs, say A and B, have been created in the "Intranet" destination of the E72, accordingly. I only prefer using A to access the Internet, therefore I have copied A into the default "Internet" destination and named it C.
Under the "Internet" destination, as usual, there are a few packet data APs there. I got two named 2G and 3G, respectively.
Therefore, I should have three APs under the "Internet" destination, ordered by priority:
1. C
2. 3G
3. 2G
BUT, after using the phone for a few days, B mysteriously listed after C in the "Internet" destination:
1. C
2. B
3. 3G
4. 2G
I do promptly delete B from the "Internet" destination, but after a few days the E72 does automatically add it back in the list, at the same location (priority).
An interesting observation is if I change the priority by putting a packet data AP at the first, B will no longer be automaticallyed added. I of course can't always use 3G or 2G as the preferred connection.
The other interesting thing is, the automatically cloned AP has the exact same name of the source AP: B. Normally a cloned AP should not have the same name as the original because all AP names must be unique among all destinations (per my understanding).
Any clues about why this could happen and how to fix it please?

Physical Standby -- Automate Startup under Windows

I've created a physical standby using 9i on Win2003. It's working fine, but it won't come up automatically when the machine reboots. I've used ORADIM to create the service, and I can see in the registry that ORA_<sid>_AUTOSTART is set to TRUE, but after the machine reboots I have to manually:
SQL> alter database mount standby database;
SQL> alter database recover managed standby database disconnect;
Apparently the problem is that the service is trying to open the database normally, not realizing that special commands need to be run to start a physical standby.
I want the whole standby site to come up and run properly when the machine reboots. How can I set this up?

You may try the following:
modify the oracle service using oradim -edit starttype=service
place your sql commands in a sql file, wrap it with a batch file and ask your NT administrator to run(prepare a script) the batch file immediately after startup.
You sql file :
alter database mount standby database;
alter database recover managed standby database disconnect;
your batch file :
set oracle_sid=<sid_here>
sqlplus sys/pwd @SQLScript.sql

Is an immediate automatic shut down possible?

Hi -
Is there a way to override the Energy Saver automatic shut down timer so that the computer shuts down immediately? I'm referring to the dialog that appears with a count-down timer saying this computer will automatically shut down in 10 minutes.
I'm having a bit of a problem staying up way too late on the computer and I'd like the machine to shut down immediately at a preset time, no matter what I'm doing -- kick me off, so to speak. I'm afraid I tend to just cancel the automatic shut down timer dialog.
I realize I could risk losing some data doing this, but I need some sleep!

I don't think there is a way to immeidately shut down your machine other than the 10 minute countdown from the Schedule in the Energy Saver.

Automate Batch feature - possible to maintain subfolder structure?

Hi,
I have some custom actions that I batch run regularly on a folder of images. The images are sometimes contained in subfolders. Photoshop has a checkbox in the Automate> Batch menu to "include subfolders" in the selection folder.
Is there a way to instruct PS to maintain the folder structure for the processed images, such that the original subfolder structure is replicated? Sometimes my filenames overlap, and the output images overwrite each other. =(

Automatic hints under UNIX???

Hi,
I have a strange problem. I'm developing an application for UNIX and I am developing on UNIX and on Windows2000.
I have some fields which should show a hint in the message line automatically when being entered, and it works on Windows2000. But for some reason it does not on UNIX. Does anybody know this problem???

No, the problem is real strange. When I just enter the form messages are not displayed, e.i. no hints and not even a message when I explicitly run the command MESSAGE('Hello...'); Then, later on, messages might display, in the correct window.
And on Windows everything works fine. It's really strange.

If I delete photos from photo stream to create space will it also delete my back-ups in 'Photos' automatically stored under 'photo stream'?

I need to create space on my iphone4. I have moved all my photo stream pics to 'Photos' Library on my mac which were automatically labelled 'photo stream' there. Now I want to delete all my photo stream, however I am afraid it will delete the newly transfered pics labelled 'photo stream' in the library. Is it safe to delete?

If you enabled Automatic Import in iPhone>Preferences>Photo Stream, you photo stream photos should be safely imported to your iPhoto library. You can check by control-clicking on any photo stream photos; if it says "Show in Library" on the pop-up that opens, it has been imported to your library. Once the photos are in your iPhoto library, you can safely delete them from photo stream on your phone.
(You can test this by taking a test photo on your phone, waiting for it to upload to photo stream and import to your iPhoto library, then deleting it from photo stream on your phone and confirming that it is still in your iPhoto library on your Mac.)

Automatic Payment not possible due to Period Close

We have faced one issue, during last day of month our AP guys created payment proposal , before treasury run the payment the period was closed, the system status is stuck, not able to delete proposal or not even proceed for payment.
Document are still open no cheque register updated.

Select the below option in F110
Edit > Payments > After termination > Draw up again
If this does not work, then choose Edit > Payments > Delete output
Then Edit > Proposal > Delete
Then change your parameters or create a new payment run.

Concerned my Mac is under possible malicious control.

For some time now, shortly after turning on my Mac I've found I would suddenly hear my harddrive working/seeking when I'm doing little that would require that amount of activity- such as typing up an e-mail.
I know some like to think of their Macs as immune to security breaches, but obviously there are some security issues to consider - check February 16 2006 news item regarding a Mac virus for OS X.
I ran the Activity Monitor when the harddrive when active and noticed an entry that read:
PROCESS NAME: Find USER: Nobody
As I've stated my harddrive would go intensely and steadily active without apparent reason.
Any consrtuctive thoughts would be appreciated.

There is a user named "nobody", but it does not allow
remote login. That user is used by the OS.
OS X always has virtual memory active, and paged-out
memory is stored on the hard drive. If your hard
drive is being accessed, it could be that OS X is
paging-out or paging-in memory.
