Automatic Payments Continue To Come Out of My Bank Account.
Around February 20, 2014, I had cancelled my Verizon service
and changed to Straighttalk. All the changes seemed to have gone smoothly. I
received a complimentary call from Verizon regarding my change of service, so I
knew everything again had gone through properly. Around the same time I
cancelled my service a payment for Verizon was taken out of my checking
account. Being prorated, I assumed I would be reimbursed. I tried logging into
my Verizon account immediately and it was closed. Last week another payment for
Verizon had been deducted from my account, so I tried to contact customer
service OVER 5-8 times and I can not get through to anyone AND being my account
is closed by phone number will not work! How can I get a real person, verify my
account will be credited back and verify my automatic payments had been
stopped?!
First call your bank and have the money refunded back. Tell the bank to place a block from Verizon wireless on your account. This can also be done with a credit card if it is used.
The bank or credit union has to refund the money by law, however they will require you to fax the documents showing the removal of your funds and that you are requesting the block to be placed on. It is very easy.
Years ago I had an auto pay set up and when I noticed the funds removed the girl at the credit union was great. Reversed the payment and blocked over the phone. Mailed me the documents and I faxed them back.
Don't deal with Verizon just deal with your bank. Less aggravation.

Interesting - I just installed match and my balance disappeared. It asks for, and I entered, I credit card. It makes no mention of clearing out your redeemed balance of itunes gift cards. This should be made much clearer. Now I will have to check with my credit card company to ensure only the balance of what was not covered by my itunes gift card balance was charged for match - not the full amount on my credit card as the forms make you believe will occur.

There is a theoretical risk that a site in another tab or window could read through the history of your banking session and extract information, but that probably is very rare.
You definitely want to close the browser before leaving the PC available to another person. -
Has anyone else had itunes take money for a purchase out of your bank account when you already have a credit on your itunes account to cover it?

Every month my yearly subscription expires despite Adobe taking money out of my bank account?
Every month since I subscribed to Adobe Creative Cloud, I get a message stating that my subscription to the cloud has expired? Yet, there has been no problem with Adobe taking the monthly subscription dues from out of my bank account. Then I must go thru the rig-a-ma-roo to update my account manually in order tyo restore being able to use the programs I need. And another thing, (although you might consider it to be a second question), I must enter and re-enter my Adobe ID and password to go to the next page in succession. I wouldn't mind doing so if for a security reasoning but it appears as a risk to only my redundancy? Things could run much more smoothly if per chance you could identify these hassles prior to confirming my bank account routing number?

Eventually after alot of time trying to figure, RIG-A-MA-ROO, of how to update my subscription and time not being able to use the software needed, EVERY MONTH THIS HAPPENS. i usually figure it out? However, yes, there could be a number of issues with that, it's kind of hard to diagnose over the boards. If you can't figure it out by the time the store opens, bring it in - or call the phone number for 24/7 support.

I cannot get Verizon to refund money that they mistakenly took out of my bank account.
I am so frustrated with Verizon, after years of being a faithful customer. A jetpack was ordered for me to try and instead I got some other equipment that I could not use. I was instructed to just send it back and I did so. Then, I received 2 different pieces of equipment and had to send them back before finally getting the jetpack (which I do love, even though my husband calls it a "roter rooter". I sent back the 2 packages, after they were actually boxed up in Dickson, Tn. at the Verizon store by one of their employees. I took it that day and mailed it back. Verizon received the two packages on Nov. 12th. AT LEAST THAT IS WHAT THEY HAVE REPEATEDLY TOLD ME, AFTER EACH TIME PUTTING ME ON HOLD FOR ANYWHERE BETWEEN 20 - 30 MINUTES EACH TIME I CALL!
They had first sent me a text message telling me they were going to have to bill me for equipment that I had not returned, so I called them immediately and, after a call of over an hour, I was told they had located the returns and I didn't need to worry about it anymore.
Next, in December, I got a bill from them again stating they were going to have to charge me for it so again I called them and was told, again, after a quite lengthy hold, that they definitely had the returned equipment and I was again given the date of Nov. 12th as the date they had received it.
Then, during the first part of January I got a bill that showed that on January 14th, they were going to withdraw that amount with my automatic payment plan from the bank. I called again, again to be told it was a "glitz in the system" but would be worked out before time to withdraw the amount. Well, that didn't happen. But they did take the money out of our account anyway. I don't have a spare $269 to give! My husband and I are both disabled and retired. Of course I called them again and after being put on hold for 20 minutes, was told not to worry, it had been returned! I stupidly thought she meant to our bank account! She meant what I already knew....the equipment had been returned....over 2 months earlier!
Since that time I have made more phone calls to Verizon and keep getting told that it will take 3 - 5 days and they have to request it. Well, they've requested it several times. Still I do not get my money returned to the bank. I absolutely do no recommend anyone use their auto payment. If this is what happens, it will wear you out just trying to get your money back.
I have since received another monthly bill, and it shows NO CREDIT, NO RETURNS, ETC. IS THERE ANYONE OUT THERE THAT CAN HELP ME???? I HAVE CONTACTED CONSUMER'S AFFAIRS and I plan to take this where-ever I have to just to warn people. It really bothers me that every time I call Verizon about this problem, I talk to someone who seems so nice, so empathetic about the problem and they always promise that THEY will make sure it gets done.Hi judy. BEWARE: if you subscribe to AOL'S cyber newspaper (for 99¢ per week),you will have to give them authorization to charge your account weekly vain iTunes/apple account or credit card or bank account. Once you do that you have a better chance having a long phone chat with Oboma about all the people now on welfare, than getting someone to at AOL or APPLE to cancel your subscription. You will get routed all around and put on hold and finally referred to a forum where this has been REPEATEDLY asking ...and, per APPLE, answered. In fact, when you follow the APPLE given link (a live person at APPLE sends you the link by email but can not tell you what to do on the phone) ... And you go to the link, you will find ...as I did and others commented they did too...that the link suggestions do not work to allow younto cancel The Daily! At this point younwill have over an hour, perhaps 2 (as in my case) invested and STILL NOT HAVE IT CANCELLED.
What incompetence by AOL and APPLE! Or wait; do you really think this is made so complex, not by incompetence, but by design?
You mean you think AOL ...once the got your account debit authorization working, the want to make it nearly impossible for you to stop them from continuing to "milk the cow"? They do have a dubious, to put it politely, record onmcustomer care (reason theynlost literally millions of paying "AOL Members" starting about mid 1990's ...and then making AOL free before ALL their "members left".)
Ok, so it is not hard to see AOL doing something like this. I admit. However, with ITunes participating in the billing for "the Daily. Onto your Aplle Account credit card or bank account, do you think the generally ethically run APPLE would participate in the AOL scam too? Why can't or doesn't,t APPLEgive you a straight answer or take care of stopping the itunesnbilling for "The Daily"? Absent a such a good explanation, this is class action lawsuit material ...to recover all the amounts deducted from customers who wanted to cancel but did not have the time and endurance to figure out how to cancel.Yoor post is very confusing. AOL's iPad magazine is called "Editions" and it's free. "The Daily" is put out by TheDailyHolding and is owned by Rupert Murdoch. You've already posted in another thread where the solution was given. Other people seem to have manged to get unsubscribed.

You can view the purchase history on your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases (the most recent is above the list). I'm not sure if that shows auto-renewing subscriptions (I don't have any).
If you can't the charges, and you haven't added or changed your credit card details (when you do then a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the details are correct and valid, which should disappear within a few days) then you can contact iTunes Support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption -

I tried both actions but nothing was listed in either option. Thanks anyway. The only other thing I can think of is that in order to use Mozilla it must transfer data from my Yahoo.com account. Could this be the problem? Otherwise, I will simply Close the window each time I log out of my bank. Thanks

The question is, how can determine whether the payments from customers can be posted to other then approved bank accounts.
We have a number of house banks, some of them are scheduled for creditor payments (outgoing) the other for payments received from customers (incoming). The proceeds can be posted directly to house bank accounts and can be in form of cash, eft, or checks as defined in the company code level. However, then I am checking the list of house banks using FI12, where all house banks are listed ( more then 30 ), I am not able to see whether particular bank account is for outgoing or incoming payments. So, can you please tell me, are there any alternative way to determine that? Or what I am doing wrong?

I changed my password for an important account.
I deleted the old password under preferences on Safari.
I entered the new password and it asked to save it.
Next time I went to the account----it entered the old password--- and after three tries, I was locked out of the account.
I re-did the whole process--- it happened again!
Help!Passwords saved by Safari are actually stored in Keychain Access.
Open Keychain Access located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Select Passwords on the left.
Type in the name of the website you are trying to change the password for top right corner of the Keychain Access window.
That website keychain should be there.
Then right or control click that keychain then click Delete.
Then back to Safari. From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Then select the Passwords tab then delete the the website. Make sure: AutoFill user names and passwords is selected.
Now go to the bank account website and try changing your password. -
When using Firefox on my desktop computer, I usually have 3-4 tabs open. Whenever I log out of my banking website, it reminds me to close my browser for security reasons. Does this mean I need to close every tab when I log out of a secure site? Thanks. I'm using Windows 7 and the latest version of Firefox.
