Automatic play reverts back to main menu at end of movie.

I want the DVD to autoplay, without having to make a menu. But automatic play always reverts back to the main menu at end of movie. How do I make an autoplay with no menu at all?

• Black background slide
• No animation
• No audio
c. You can select loop. Then it doesn't end on a menu but keeps on playing.
d. I think that if You use the OneStep-DVD You'll get a non-menu at the start
(auto-starting) and no menu at end.
I would do. Copy movie back to a miniDV tape (Camera) and use OneStep-DVD from this.
There might be other ways to do this.

I have created a movie in iMovie '11 with chapter markers, and imported it into iDVD 7.1.2 (1158) on an iMac
running OS X Lion 10.7.2
The movie imports all chapters with corresponding labels perfectly. I added a chapter at the very beginning of the movie in iMovie, and it shows up fine in iDVD.
I removed AutoPlay since I want the DVD to play the Main Menu upon inserting it into a DVD player. What I can't figure out is how to make the DVD return to the Main Menu once it finishes playing to the end of the movie. It will automatically go to the Chapters selection menu instead. Is it possible to have it return to the Main Menu?

It is very possible that your iDVD Project has no Chapter Markers.
It's possible. My "project" which included pictures as well as movies was all done in iPhoto as a slide show. From there I exported the slideshow into iDVD.
I sort of messed up "I think." I believe I did the original burn incorrectly-tester #1. I re-burned another one this afternoon which turned out very well-tester #2. Think I will stick with the options I used for tester #2 since it was the easiest.
For "chapters" I will need to do some extensive "how to" reading especially when it comes to iMove. I used iPhoto since it accepts both photos & movies. I "think" iMovie only deals with movies?

Try the following steps, check whether things are working after each step where appropriate, before trying the next.
Restart the Apple TV (Settings > General > Restart).
Restart the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Restart your router. (Also try removing it’s power cord for at least 30 seconds)
Reset the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings)
Restore the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Restore)

Cs 6 blu-ray with sub menus, only go back to main menu

I have burned a blu-ray with a main menu then sub menus: audio setup, chapters, extras.
(note: they are regular menus NOT pop-up menus and I would rather not do pop-up menus at this time)
when I am playing any of the sub menu content (trailer or making of or picking a chapter button from the chapter menu etc...) and press the menu button on the Blu-Ray player while it plays that content, it goes to the main menu instead of the sub menu.
I checked it in the simulator and it was working perfectly....just as I would expect it to.
each sub menu item (a trailer or making of featurette for example) is set to go back to the sub menu and it's button
when done playing...and it does.
It just refuses to do that when the menu button on a blu-ray player is used and instead goes to the main menu.
I ran the link checker before building the folders and burning it...no conflicts found.
This seems to be an issue with Encore in general, reading about this here and in
other forums.
Can Encore simply not create a proper blu-ray disc with sub-menu's you can
return to when the menu button on a remote is pressed?
Do I have to buy BluStreak in order to correct these rather obvious navigation errors?

I think the original poster in the other thread observed that commercial BDs were showing the same behavior.
Even if true, it does not mean that some kind of scripting might not work.
But Encore would not have the option.

Iphone crashes and goes back to main menu

my iphone has begun crashing when i play music and then try to go to the phone or safari apps. the whole phone doesn't crash but the music stops abruptly and it goes to the main menu instead of where i want it to go. i've seen a few other posters with this problem but wanted to let others know that it's not so isolated an incident.

If resetting and power cycling the iphone does not resolve the issue, you might want to restore the iphone.

Goes back to main menu when watching tv episodes

I recently downloaded the new ios4 software. Everthing is great except when i try to watch a tv episode it randomly takes me back to the main menu. Also if i try scrubbing forward it takes me back to the menu, does anyone know how to fix that?

Also now having issue from both apple machines ( iMac and laptop ) that are coming up when trying to load a new digital copy that they can not access the itunes store.
This is very frustrating as I do ot remember changing anything out on network.

I installed the Mail 2 Group App on my iPAD, created an email which I saved to the 'Draft' folder, with something over 300 of my contacts in the bcc. Sending a message with that many addressees may have required more RAM than was available. You can clean up RAM as follows:
Double-press the HOME button
Kill each app by flicking its screen image up
When all apps except the Home screen are closed press HOME
Wait about 2 minutes for the shutdowns to finish

Simple Question..easy Answer! How to return movie to main menu after end?

In simulate, the movie simply stops after playing. Same situation with the burned copy. How do i set the movie to return to the menu automatically when done playing?
There is only one chapter in my movie and one menu, so it's pretty straight forward. Thanks.

What Eric said, but initially if you drag a track from the Outline view to a button and select "Connect to Track" from the drop-down menu, it will set the jump to and from the button for you.

In thunderbird only the spam page in one of the accounts is showing and I can't get back tomthe main menu

I have several email accounts and this morning I cleared the spam account on one of these. only the spam page was left and the other tabs disappeared. I may have accidentally closed the tab. I can't get out of this spam tab . I have tried closing Thunderbird down and restarting but I go back to the same place. I closed and restarted the computer with the same result.

If there are no toolbars:
Press 'Alt' key to get temporary Menu Bar
then 'View' > 'Toolbars'
select: Menu Bar to set as permanent
then 'View' > Toolbars,
and select other toolbars - Mail Toolbar, Quick Filter bar and Status Bar
This should get you all the toolbars.

I was in the middle of watching a movie rental from iTunes on my Apple TV and it shut off the movie and took me directly to the main menu. Now the movie doesn't even show up on my iTunes account. How do I get back to the movie?

Now when I try to re-rent the movie on iTunes a message pops up saying, "You already purchased this item. Go to Settings --> Downloads." Every time I do this There is not button that says "Downloads." Please help.

Mac responded to my question, they didn't download automatically into my library, they were still in the purchased section of the itunes store and i downloaded it from there. Thanks

Restore re-installs the iPad's operating system. You can first try Restoring it with a back up which will return your iPad back to it's previous settings. If this doesn't fix it you will have to start fresh and Restore it as a new iPad. Just remember the back up file does not contain media files synced from a computer. Camera Roll photos are in the back up however I would get a more permanent back up of it's photos on a computer before Restoring.

No automatic return to menu at end of movie

I have compiled a DVD using five short videos created in Final Cut Express. At the end of each video some return you automatically to the menu whilst others do not or at least take an age to do so. I can't see any real difference that would suggest why. Should I be adding some sort of marker at the end of each video?
Advice will be appreciated

There are no "soft markers" to add - to my knowledge.
But I would cheque that each video clip ends where it should and not has a long
black "tail" (can't put a better word to it)
If You added chapter marks - THEN You must not put one at the very beginning of Your
video files (QT.mov)
I never use QuickTime Conversion - when exporting out from FCE/P.

Slideshow doesn't return to main menu at end...

I have a series of slideshows set to manual operation, however, the last slide just sits there dead. No button in preview is effective. Is there a workaround??

One slideshow, of 16, would end with the music and then the image would hold and start playing some music that was in iTunes, but not assigned to this slideshow. Never could fix it. Tried lots of things. Must have created at least 10 disk images (3 1/2 hours each time).
