Automatic PO creation from PR with no master data

Dear gurus,
Is it possible to run ME59- Auto PO creation from approved PR with no master data/source assigned/PIR? Assuming user create adhoc PR.
Is it possible to run this process successfully if i didn't meet on the criteria below? let say no.1 is not checked?
1.Material Master purchasing view, check automatic PO check box.
2. Vendor Master purchasing view, check automatic PO check box.
3. Maintain Source list for Vendor and Material (transaction ME01) and also see validity period.
4. Maintain Purchase Info Record (transaction ME11), check info record category (must be standard or pipeline or subcontracting)
5. Create a Purchase Requisition ( transaction ME51N), during creation select check box of Source Determination.
6. Use transaction ME59 and execute for purchase requisition for vendor, you will be able to create automatic PO.

    Goto SPRO\ Cross application components \ Master data synchronization \ Synchronization control.
    Assign account groups of customer and vendors to respective BP grouping. This setting is enough to create BP in background while creating customer / vendor. But the fields groups are very much important, ensure mandatory fields should be sync.

  • Automatic PO creation from SC

    Hi Experts,
    I am using SRM 7.0 with extended classic scenario and I have issue in the automatic po creation. For some Shopping Carts the PO is not automatically created. The SC is having Source of Supply Assigned and all the approves have completely approved the SC.  The latest status is  I1111          Item in Transfer Process.
    I checked in RZ20, ST22 and could not find any error or dumps.
    For the SC item under BBP_PDBEI the BE_OBJECT_TYPE is BUS2201 and BE_OBJECT_ID 1, once I trigger the PO creation manually the PO object id is reflected here.
    For such SC I am running the report BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED manually which puts the SC in I1112 Error in Transmission Status and later I can trigger the SC creation from the alert monitor.
    For POs created in this manner the PO is created in Held Status without any line items, is this normal?
    I have two questions which I want to understand, how is the automatic po creation from SC setup, is there any customizing involved for the po creation from SC to happen automatically?
    What else should I check to find the reason why the the SC was stuck in I1111 status and PO was not created?

    You need to configure the Purchasing group and this will take care of automatic transfer of Doc to sourcing cockpit. Make sure you also maintain the customization for sourcing always carried out for Prod categories.

    1. Run Requisition Import to import approved Requisition with no workflow fired.
    2. Can we kick off automatic PO creation workflow without kicking off Requisition approval workflow?

    Hi SAP Gurus, i have a requirement where in I want PO to be automatically created while doing GR.All other settings I have done. Now my requirement is tat say freight conditon FRC1 should be picked up from condition record.I already have condition record maintained.please let me know if this is possible or is it like that for automatic PO creation from GR info record is mandatory.Please let me know.Thanks

    Condition record will not help for the automatic PO creation from GR. Use Info record and maintain your conditions like discount, freight,packng and forwarding etc.....

  • Asset master data synchronization with HR Master data

    Dear Experts:
                          I am FI consultant and i am doing Research on Synchronization of asset master data with HR master data. Our management wants that if company gives any thing which is regarded as an asset e.g Laptop, expensive tools e.t.c to its employee then beside opening its asset master data in FI it should also be updated in HR Employee master data. For this from FI side there are 3 asset classes for which we want that if any asset is opened in these classes then the data should be updated in HR. I have turned on Personnel number in screen layouts and have fetched this field in asset reports. We want
    1...Asset Description
    2...Cost Center
    to be updated in HR master data. Now my question is that how this can be achieved. Is it possible? What configuration will need to be done for it.

    FOr assets created in FI and reflect them in HR use the feature ANLAC and it will take care.
    This feature determines whether or not the system checks the fields Asset number in infotype 0040 (Internal Control) and Loan object number  in infotype 0040 (Objects on Loan) against database ANLA.

  • Use of "with master data & with out master data" at DTP update level

    Hello experts,
    In DTP, I check "with out master data". When I try to send corresponding transactional data, It is showing SID related error. Can anybody suggest what is the use of "with master data & with out master data" at DTP level.

    HI in DTP level If you set this indicator, the system terminates the update of the request if no values are available for a data record.
    Load the relevant master data before you load the transaction data.
    If you set this indicator, the system terminates activation if master data is missing and produces an error message.
    If you do not set this indicator, the system generates any missing SID values during activation.
    In DataStore maintenance, if you do not set the SIDs Generation upon Activation indicator, the No Update without Master Data indicator in the DTP has no effect.

  • Automatic project creation from sales order

    Hi,
    I am creating project from the sales order. I have all necessary configuration and maintained master data.
    But during the creation of the project, I am getting 2 errors
    1. I have to maintain network start date (maintained forward scheduling in customization) and systems prompts for availability check
    2. After maintaining start date and confirming the ATP check, when I try to save the sales order, I get error like "Create Network: Project Allocation" where in I can see 2 standard projects, one SAP standard project and another which I created by copying this standard, against which there are 2 black fields for project definition. and below 3 options. COPY, ALLOCATE WBS ELEM and CREATE.
    If cancel this, system asks ' Copy project allocation in the network?' if i say yes then i cant leave the above window and if i say no then new window pops up asking me for WBS element acc assgn and billing WBS elem.
    Does anybody aware of this issue?
    Please help.

    If you want to have availability check on sales order then customize accordingly using OVZ9 & OVZ0. if you don't want availability check then you remove that customization with reference requirement class.
    If you don't want have availability check in project with reference to network type, which I hope has been maintained in the system right now, you can skip that.
    Secondly, your business requires where stock to be release (Sale order/ Project). For the same, kindly check in OVZG what has been maintained for special stock and for account assignment cat.
    If you want to have through sale order, kindly use sale order stock.
    Third, check in CN08, which all values has been defaulted with respect material number, generally if you want to run project through sale order and then header assigned network type is used.
    I hope it would be helpful in resolving the issue.

  • Automatic PO creation from PR for non materials

    A requirement has recently been raised where the business wants to introduce the use of purchase requisitions and once the purchase requisiiton has been released (approved) a purchase order be automatically created from the purchase requisition. However the business do not use or maintain material records, purchasing info records or source lists. If the the standard automatic purchase order from purchase requisition is used (ME59N) these items are required. In entereing the purchase requisition it is expected that the 'Desired Vendor' will be entered. Has anyone had a similar scenario where the automation of purchase order creation is required? Any assistance is appreciated.

    For no material, only for SERVICE procurement , the Service auto- PO created by activating Automatic Purchase order creation for Service requisitions in t.code: ML91. Create info record based on Material Group. For Automatic PO , info record is mandatory. For more please read note 635511

              This is with respect to PR creation from Sales order for 3rd party items.
    I am able to create PR from standard sales order and i dont have any issues with that.  I have used schedule line categories which is configured with Order type Z2, Item rel for dlvy checked and Acct assigment group as E.
    Now my question is , I want to copy partners from sales order to Purchas req. Currently some partners are getting transferred from Sales order to P.Req, But not all there in sales order. Where do we control the data that can be copied from Sales order to P. Req

    Genrating PR, Mostely depends on shedule line,see which shedule line u r determining for HIGH LEVEL ITEM ,for that shedule line maintain setting is VOV6.

    Hi,
    I got to generate automatic purchase orders from purchase requisitions.
    A stdd Transaction ME59N is already availablefor this, but I need to create POs without GR. This is a requirement in IS Media module.
    We can approach in 2ways: 1. copy the stdd and modify
                                              2.create a Z prog from scratch
    Please help me if you have worked on a similar requirement.

    I believe you can setup this in the configuration not to do GR..
    You can check the purchasing document type config or purchasing item category configuration..
    Also check with your MM functional consultant to achieve this..

  • Issue with import master data from BW info object using DM

    Hi All,
    We have master data loads on weekly basis.
    One of them, product master data is loaded from 0material using DM package.
    While loading the attributes we exclude couple of Products based on the attributes (say Product sub family)
    ex - Having conversion file which excludes product sub family - ML. so all the products under that sub family are excluded from the load.
    Hierarchy load - How can we skip the products which are excluded during attribute run?
    For the first hierarchy load, we copied all the product ID which are part of product sub family - ML and entered in conversion file "NODENAME" and "PARENT" to skip.
    But during the subsequent runs, whenever we have a new  product under Family ML the hierarchy job fails. Attached the error. we then manually enter that product to be excluded in the hierarchy load and the job runs fine.
    Is there a way to automate this process.
    Version - BPC 10 SP 17 .NET 3.5
    Appreciate any thoughts on this.

    We are currently using the first option you have mentioned. But the problem is when we have new product coming in BW (which is part of attribute we skip while loading attributes from BW to BPC) we manually need to add that product to skip in hierarchy conversion file also.
    As i can see, the selection option to skip is available only while loading the attributes but not for hierarchy load.
    Please correct me if am wrong.

  • Issues with loading master data and hierarchy from BI InfoObject

    Hi,
    I was successful with loading the master data from BI InfoObject. It copies the text node as well but it discards the space I have in the technical name when it copies it to BPC. For example if my Text Node technical ID is "NODE 1" it copies it as "NODE1" on BPC side because of which my hierarchy load fails as it is not able to find "NODE 1".
    What is the reason it deletes the space from technical ID? and how can I resolve this issue?
    Do we have a provision to write a ABAP exit where I can check?
    (PS: If i manuallay enter space on my BPC dimension the hierarchy loads successfully)

        Thanks for the answers. I tried loading it yesterday, i had lot of confusions.
      What should i do to load a master data from a R/3 to BI7.0.
    1. Created a Info object named (EKKO_mas) with some attributes (ernam, ekorg, lifnr).
    2. Go to info provider and right clicked on info area and selected insert char as data target. (Please correct if i am wrong).
    3. Login to R/3, go to sbiw generic data source created one with a view/table as EKKO and map the application compound and select the needed fields by checking the checkbox. (please correct if wrong).
    4. Go to source system tab and replicate data source. ( Please correct if i am wrong)
    Then what should i do.
    guessing steps:
    4. Create a Data source, in BI 7.0 . In that as i am not using flat file, should i select "application server" instead of "local workstation" . In field tab i specified all the fields given in Info object. ( Will there be anything else i should do or change in this tab)
    5. Load data in PSA. ( will the data from R/3 i selected loaded in PSA without any problem)
    6. Create transformation , save and activate.
    7. Create DTP save and activate , click execute.
    By doing the above given step will i be able to load the master data from R/3 to BI 7.0 data target (IO) .  Please help me if something is wrong with my steps.
