Automatic PO creation - only for PRs based on catalog SRM/EBP items

Dear Experts,
i am facing the following question w.r.t. automatic PO creation:
Is it possible to have automatic PO creation in R/3 only for those purchase requisition items, that are based on shopping cart/EBP/SRM items that are from a third party punch out catalog?
The idea is, that the requisitioner on the SRM EBP side shops in a catalog. Once the the SC is approved and the purchase requisition is created in the R/3 system, automatically a PO should be created based on that PReq. This would save the time for the buyer, who do not need to pay attention to this document, because the purchase from the catalog guarantees the buyer, that the already pre-agreed conditions are getting applied.
But PReqs that are based on Free Text shopping cart EBP items must not be taken into account for the automatic PO creation.
Is there a way to distinguish between the catalog-based and the non-catalog based PReq positions?

Auto PO transaction ME59N comes with huge selection crieteria. If you can distinguish between catelog vs non catalog requisition then it very easy to set up variant to filter non catalog based requistion. you can also think about ehnacement of polulating text fields like Requisitioner or Requirement tracking number with unque idetifier in case of non catalog based PR then you can set variant to filter out those requistions..

I would have the following question w.r.t. to such configuration:
If i configure that the PO creation for complete SC should happen for a certain purchasing group, would it be somehow possible to arrange that when a Catalog item is put into the shopping cart, that only that certain purchasing group gets defaultet? (the idea behind this is, to leave the free text shopping carts to already known purchasing groups and to keep the purchase requisition as the backend object for this configuration. And additionally to create new purchasing groups, that should be linked to the catalog purchases and to POs as the backend objects).

We are starting discussions to determine how we could auto-create requisitions based on a list of servers in order to perform periodic health checks.
One approach we thought about was creating one service request that could spawn multiple requests, again based on a list and using a set schedule (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc.)
Has anyone implemented this and can provide some guidance/tips?

OCI mapping for External Punch Out Catalog - SRM

Dear SRM Gurus,
We are using SRM 7.0 Classic scenario.
We have a scenario to External punch out catalog. I am aware of Web service call structure, UI config and BADIs.
But I am very much confused that how exactly the External Catalog data will be mapped to SRM? Where would be the inbound OCI mapping done for External Punch out catalog.
Kindly share your knowledge.

The OCI field mapping is done as specified in OCI 4.0 specification. If you like technical details on exactly where the mapping happens, you can search for FM OCI. Also, the CATALOG_TRANSFER BADI can be used to read the data that has been mapped and change if needed.

External hard-drive only for Intel-based macs?

I have an iMac G5 powerpc (without the camera). Today I bought a Western Digital: My Passport- Essential 250GB external portable hard-drive. I will be using this to back-up my iMac's hard-drive. Before I opened the packaging, I decided to see if Apple.com sold this product in their online store. They do, but one of the 'one-star' reviews posted on this product stated that "it will only work with Intel-based macs." I can't seem to find any more information about whether or not this statement is correct. I was hoping somebody could help me out and let me know the answer. If it doesn't work with the powerpc imacs, do you know of a brand or model that does? I plan on leaving it in the packaging until I know for sure just in case I need to return it to the store. Can DW CS5 automate the creation of a link based on the text in the link?

Here's the situation. I often find myself creating blocks of code like this:

Schedule changes and validity dates for prices in product catalog(SRM-MDM)

Hello!
I'm working on a project that is going to use SRM-MDM and the question is if it is possible to schedule changes(for example to add new prices that have a validity period, can you make the changes now that are going to be valid from 1st of februari?Or can I add products today that are only going to be available to buy from a particular date?).
The other question is if it is possible to have a validity period for prices and when the date is valid,then the product is shown in the catalog.In the same way that when the date is not valid, the product is not shown in the catalog.Can this be made automactically?Can a logic be build to choose which products are going to be shown in the catalog?
Do you have any suggestions for those issues?

Automatic TO creation for delivery

Dear Experts ,
We are facing a problem with Automatic TO creation for delivery only in some storage types ( not all the types , some types are working fine )
The problem happened after we applied a user exit for a specific picking strategy , but even after we have cancelled that user exit still problem remained.
We have checked the following settings, and everything seems fine:
1-Warehouse management - Activities u2013 transfers u2013 define Mvt type
2-Warehouse management u2013 interfaces- Automatic TO creation

Hi Malik,
You mentioned that you have previously implemented the picking user-exit and removed it later. Did you enter the correct picking strategy for the effected storage types after removing the user-exit? This could be one reason.
What happens when you try to create the TO manually?

COPA Subsequent Posting of Documents for Acct-based only

We would like to change a few characteristics in KEQ3 from costing-based to both costing-based and account-based for the same operating concern.
After doing this we would like to update account-based data subsequently (KE4F, KE4T, KE4S, KE4SFI, KE4SMM).
It would be greatly appreciated if the experts could tell us if these programs will update only account-based COPA, as well as any other risks or considerations regarding this scenario.

When you do KE4S, it would reverse and repost the COPA docs. I assume it will do so only for Cost Based COPA.
ABCOPA docs are related to the COEP table. So, in my opinion, unless you reverse the FI doc and repost it, it wont take an effect.
Also, PSG for ABCOPA gets determined during Sales order itself. So, you will have to redetermine PSG..
Easiest way would be to roll out the changes for prospective Sales orders.

Automatic PO creation from SC

Hi Experts,
I am using SRM 7.0 with extended classic scenario and I have issue in the automatic po creation. For some Shopping Carts the PO is not automatically created. The SC is having Source of Supply Assigned and all the approves have completely approved the SC. The latest status is I1111 Item in Transfer Process.
I checked in RZ20, ST22 and could not find any error or dumps.
For the SC item under BBP_PDBEI the BE_OBJECT_TYPE is BUS2201 and BE_OBJECT_ID 1, once I trigger the PO creation manually the PO object id is reflected here.
For such SC I am running the report BBP_ALERT_SB_NOTTRANSFERED manually which puts the SC in I1112 Error in Transmission Status and later I can trigger the SC creation from the alert monitor.
For POs created in this manner the PO is created in Held Status without any line items, is this normal?
I have two questions which I want to understand, how is the automatic po creation from SC setup, is there any customizing involved for the po creation from SC to happen automatically?
What else should I check to find the reason why the the SC was stuck in I1111 status and PO was not created?

You need to configure the Purchasing group and this will take care of automatic transfer of Doc to sourcing cockpit. Make sure you also maintain the customization for sourcing always carried out for Prod categories.

There is no alternative method. There's no way to change the speed of the Intel processors from a program. It might be that Intel didn't provide the information to Apple. Or Apple didn't build it into the operating system.
You can look at the pmset utility in the Terminal:
<pre class="command">man pmset</pre>
The parameters you'd be interested in are dps and reduce.
For example, to set a G5 to the highest performance, run these two commands back to back:
<pre class="command">sudo pmset dps 0
sudo pmset reduce 0</pre>
To set the processor to the lowest performance, use these:
<pre class="command">sudo pmset dps 0
sudo pmset reduce 1</pre>
You can try those commands on your Intel Mac if you'd like, see what happens.

please check the invoice header table which will give you the info on who created, when created etc may be RBKP or please check at SE11 or BSEG Table etc.

1 Operating Concern for Account Based and Cost Based COPA

Hi,
We are using Operating Concern 3000 for Account Based and Cost based Profitability Analysis. However when i try to extract data from the account based Operating concern it gives me an error in extraction : error 09.
Could it be that we cannot use one operating concern for both types or COPA?

Have you deactivated any of the characteristics used in Account based COPA
Check KEQ3 and you may have activated only for Costing based COPA
