Automatic power on for no reason

ok, this is the second time in about 2 months or maybe alittle more that this thing powers on..last night about 11:00 pm it auto powered on without me programing it to do so...last time it did it was about the same time i believe, i remember since the thing woke me up...anyone here got a reason for it? thanks

My computer has boot itself up a few times aswell... about 3 AM usually.
and very mysteriously started up a game of solitaire and left cookie crumbs on my keyboard hehee...

You can try recovery mode to see if you can revive the iPad.

Automatic Power on for tv 55M7463DG

Hi,
is there a method to gain automatically power on for the M7 tv series in hdmi mode?
I found the on timer, which turns the device on after a certain time, but I want to specify a time and repeat this every weekday. In dtv mode this is possable but I need this to work with the hdmi input.
Does anybody know a workaround?

Unwanted automatic time change for no reason

I've got a 6021 that changes time by one or two hours for no apparent reason whether it's in automatic time adjust or not.
The firmware version is 4.10 092005; has it been improved since then?

Yes, current version is 04.90. A firmware upgrade should sort out the problem for you

Continuing power failer for no reason.

hello, was wonder if any one could help me a peculiar problem i have been having with my imac. I keep getting a power failure (comp. shuts down in middle of using, like bang-no power.). Not sure what is going on, does not happen during any certain type of computing. Very confused and very frustrated. Please anyone with a solution or similar problem please help.

You are probably having a power supply problem, your computer shuts down because it's overheating. Look in Applications>Utilities>Console and see if you can find something like "maximum temperature exceeded for 30 seconds". You may be eligble for Apple's Repair extension programs depending on the sge and model of your machine.

This problem is often caused by "Google Drive." If it's installed, I suggest you first check for an update. If that doesn't solve the problem, remove it according to the developer's instructions. You may need to boot in safe mode to do so. Back up all data before making any changes.
If you use Google Drive and don't want to remove it, then try deselecting the option in its preferences to "show status icons." According to reports, that may be enough to stop the Finder from crashing.

Well the term "hotlined" I have never heard before. In any case many states (like NY) just passed regulatory powers to the State Public Service Commission of which it may be called something different in your state. You could file a complaint with them. Or file a complaint with your state attorney generals office, they also take on wireless providers.
The problem here is the staff you speak to are poorly trained, in days gone by it took one call to them and they pulled up your account and see the error and had the authority to remove any errors. They did not remove legitimate account actions, but used their heads instead of putting a customer off or worse lying to the customer.
Its a shame you have to go through what you going through.

Qosmio X500: power adapter stopped working for no reason

Hi,
Now i have my Qosmio X500 for a year and i like it, however i have small problems with it, and i would like to know if it can be problematic.
The first thing is that my power adapter stopped working for no reason,
So i bought a new one, but it always made some noise when the laptop was fully charged.
I know people with the same laptop and their adapter didn't make that sizzling noise, it looks like it was already defect from the begin.
Then i have one dead pixel in the middle of my screen, no problem for me.
Finally my screen is a bit loose from the laptop, when i close it, i can move it, it always seems like it's not on it's correct place, because when i close it normally it's not 100% horizontal...
Also when i replace my screen, my speakers make crackling noises and my webcam stops working.
So all those problems i have annoy me, especially the last one (webcam and speakers problem), can this fit in the warranty of the laptop? I did extend the warranty for one year...

I think this is AC adaptor fault maybe a broken cable or something like that I would recommend you to replace this get in contact with the dealer and ask for the new one.

Maybe you should ask Toshiba notebook technicians for a check maybe some screws or the hinges are loose.
The speakers should be checked with connected headphones. If you will not notice the same crackling sound using headphones, then the issue might be related to speakers

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive on each device and make sure only the phone number for that device is checked.

My browser dowloads everything automatically in MyDocuments. But, for security reasons, I need to setup a different download path, to a different location, where I keep my personal files. How do I change the download path? Thanks, Dan.

Firefox automatically reloading for no reason

I have problem with FF4, for some reason it automatically and randomly reloads when tabs when I click (focus) on them - this is especially the problem on flash videos sites, because then the buffering starts from the beginning it's driving me crazy.

I have further looked for solutions.
I have tried holding the SHIFT key when clicking on the firefox shortcut.
I have tried holding the SHIFT key and right mouse clicking, selecting Run As Administrator.
Same result, nothing!.

If no change after the following steps, your iPhone likely has a hardware problem.
Power your iPhone off and on.
An iPhone reset, which is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.
Restore your iPhone with iTunes from the backup.
Restore your iPhone with iTunes as a new iPhone or not from the backup.

Bluetooth Connection with Car - Ipod plays automatically for some reason?!?

When I start my car (Ford Fiesta), the Bluetooth connects fine to my Iphone, but for some reason the Ipod also starts to play the last track played? This is really annoying because not only does it affect my battery life when I forget, but I also lose my place if I've been listening to an audiobook. Can anyone help please??!!
