Hi friedns,
i have created new Production scheduler-030 for plant -  0101  through - CORU and CORY t.codes and we are not assigning the
Prod. sched. profile in Materail master.
Now while creating the new process order through CR01,system is not picking automatically process order type for new production scheduler -030 and new prodction schedulre already assign in material master .
For old Production scheduler-010 process order type is picking automatically for same plant.

  • Process Order is not picking the follow-up material

    Hi Gurus,
We have changed a BOM by discontinuing a component and giving a follow-up material with the valid from dates as 18/5/09.  and then MRP is run on that nignt  ( mrp job set to run daily in the back ground). and on 19/05/09 a Process Order is created from the planned orders genereated by the MRP run.
now, we found that the new componenet (follow-up) is not copied into the process order, but the old compomemt (discontinued) is removed.
MRP parameters are correctly defined (Planning mode is set to 2) .  Please let me know if we are missing anything.
    Thanks,
    N

    Hi
Pl ensure that the Following requirements have been met before you can use the discontinuation functionality:
    1) Both materials must be planned using MRP.
    2) The base unit of measure of the follow-up material must be the same as the base unit of measure of the discontinued material.
    3) You must enter discontinuation data for the discontinued item and follow-up data for the follow-up item.

  • Production version selection based on Process order type

    Hi,
    I have the following requirement.
A material is having two production version one is for R&D and one is for regular production. Now two process order types one for R&D and one for regular production. Now during creation of process order if we use order type of R&D then it has to select production version of R&D and if we use order type of regular productionthen it has to select production version of regular production. This selection has to be happened automatically. How this can be configured.
    Thanks
    Vinamrath.

    Dear Kumar,
Assuming the production version selection is automatic in  the order type dependent parameters, then during order creation this
can be automated only through validity date of the production version or else by locking the production version manually which
should not get picked or else only through different Lot Size.
    Check and revert.

  • Process order type conflict

    Hi,
I am trying to create a process order from a planned order. I have generated the planned order through MRP run. The process order that is generating taking process order type which is not desired. I want to know from where it takes the process order type while creating process order from a planned order. i have given the desired process order type in production scheduling profile i.e. TS03. but it is taking PI01. i want the type as TS03
    the screen shot given below.
    thanks in advance.

    Hi Swastik,
Check to which planning strategy (MTS or MTO) you assigned the order type in the prod. scheduler profile. Make sure you use the same in the material master MRP 3 view.
Also check whether you have assigned the prod. scheduler profile in the material master work scheduling view.

  • SAP QM Inprocess Inspection for a specific Process order type

    Dear All,
There is a requirement. As no QM type is maintained for FG material in a plant. Now the requirement is there is a specific order type for which Inprocess Inspection  is to be activated for all the FG materials. But at the same tie for all other order types there won't be any inspection for the same set of FG material.
I tried creation Z03 by copying  03 inspection type. But the problem is source inspection is from Production. So Z03 is not confined to only the specific process order but instead it is generating inspection lot for other Process order also.
Is it possible to create a scenario where we can attach inprocess inspection to a specific order type only.
    Regards,
    Rahul

    Hi,
You can assign the in process inspection to Order type in SPRO as shown below in the process order type dependent parameters in Planning tab in COR4.
    Check and revert..

  • Process order should not take part in MRP run

    Hello Colleagues
I looking for a way how to exclude not released process orders (we have PP-PI) from MD04 report. Not released process order should not take part in MRP run. I was trying to do it using OPJJ for availability check 02 and checking rule PP but I was not able to get result. Could you please help, probably there are other settings?
    Best Regards
    Eduard

    Hi,
Settings in OPJJ will take effect only when you create or release process orders.
As a work around you can try to exclude process order is
    1. Create a Storage location and make it not relevant for MRP-OMIR
    2. In Material master for the material in MRP assign storage location MRP as 1 (exclude storage location stock)
    3. Create the process order, in the GR tab enter the storage location (not MRP relevant)
In the MRP run it will not take the process order into account.
After releasing change the storage location to the normal sotrage location.
In this process flow, the control is with the storage location.
    Check it in your sandbox.
    Thanks,
    JK

    for ex :
Ord 1 ; 10 lines with 20 qty of PO
Ord 2 : 5 lines with 20 qty of PO (here lines should be 10 instead of 5)
    I appreciate your immediate response

    Hi
I   found the  mistake.   The  address   ( shift F5  )  in OX10   does  not  get   transported in transport request ,   thought the  plant  gets copied from  eg.  client 100  to client  200.
So  I   manually entered  the address  for the target  client  eg 200  here,    and  then  the  dropdown list  now shows all   plants.

  • Jin1 Condition type not picking the CSt in the ordre or billing.

We are in ecc 5.0 version.
When we create a sales order . the order is not picking the cst /lst from the record.
I ckecked all the confifuration, Pricing procedure, tax determanation, partner determiantion and all relavant posibilities everything seems to ok from the point of configuration. when we create a condition record. it is not linking to pricing procedure or tax determiantion procedure. the system tells condition record for jin1 not exists. message no 8. when we cross checked from client dev it is picking the record and we cross checked the conf in quality and production server all are same no deviation.
but when  detailed observation  in dev server which is picking the cst shows Application" S" , statistical and accdet key. but in quality or prod it shows "V" and other mentioned keys.
    What may be the problem.
    thanks.

    Hi Ranchandra,
Kindly check the Tax codes in all servers, that tax codes are exits are not qulality and production server.

  • Condition type not picked in Inquiry but picked up in order

    Hi Guys,
We have a problem where a pricing condition type is picked up in order but it is not picked up in quotation/inquiry. So we have the price difference for the material. Points will be awarded.
    Can you guys please help?
    Thanks
    Venky

    Hi venky
generally in Inquiry pricing is not at all required.
but in quotation it may require sometimes. but when you create an order with reference to quotation , the price varies, this is because of the  pricing type .
check the pricing type in VTAA quotation, the pricing type will be different for sales order and for quotation.

  • Purchase Order is not Picking Price from Info Record.

    Dear All,
User had created a Shopping cart in and an automatic Purchase Order is created which is picking the material price from Purchase Requisition but not from Created Inforecord. As checked in P.R at item level it is found that in VALUATION tab there is a field named as " P.O PRICE " , here defalt t selected as " 1 A Gross Price "., Can u please help that from where this field is automatically selected as Gross Price in Purchase requisition.
    Thanx n Rgds,
    sap11

This is the config done in the OMET transaction where you will see the Adopt PO price field is checked and now this funcitonal authorization code e.g. 01 assgined to user profile in SU3 transaction agianst the parameter EFB.
if this is active than it will not take price from info record but it will copy from PR.
to avoid this kind of issue -
Remove the EFB value in SU3 for particular user or if user needs to have the EFB profile for some other requirements than go to OMET and remove Adopt po price indicator from that profile which is assigned to user

  • Process order settlements not flowing into BI for Inventory

    Hi,
I built a cube for inventory based on the standard extractors to generate MAC values. I have three MAC reports, each for daily, weekly and monthly. The reports give the right values at the at the month level , but  whenever there is a settlement for process order done, BI does not pick the settlement value and this makes the MAC value shoot up at the daily and weekly level. I tried to a find an extractor for this settlement and could not find any. Can someone please help me with this ? Is there any datasource for settlement of process order?
    Thanks

    Hi,
Both Tomas and Debraj have provided good tips.  Let me elaborate on this.
From SWU3, access Maintain Runtime Environment -> Schedule Background Job for Missed Deadlines by double clicking on it and execute it. You could maintain the interval until next deadline check.  You could keep the number low.
Also, if you have the event queue turned on, some times the work items will stuck in the queues and took a long time for them to be available.

    Regards,
    Uday

    Hello
Check the following information from question 10 of FAQ note 540834:
    Question:
During the initial archiving run (when you set the deletion flag and/or the deletion indicator) or during archiving, the system does not process all of the orders that correspond to the selection criteria. Why?
    Answer:
Note that, in addition to the selection criteria, the residence times from Customizing of the order types (transaction OPJH for production orders and transaction CORN for process orders) is evaluated. In this case, the residence times have the following impact:
    Residence time 1:
The time interval (in calendar months) that must elapse between setting the deletion flag and setting the deletion indicator.
    Residence time 2:
The time interval (in calendar months) that must elapse between setting the deletion indicator and archiving (writing to the archive and deleting).
In addition, note that orders without delivery dates are not processed if a delivery date overrun or an interval for the actual delivery date is specified.
