Automatic release of transport requests created in Customizing distribution

Hi,
We have a lot of productive systems in our company (one for each division) with their own T and Q system. We want to make sure that certain customizing is synchronized across the systems (e.g. account assignment groups). I am hoping that we can use customizing distribution for this.
I have managed to setup customizing distribution so that when I create a new account assignment group in one development system the transport request is copied to the other development systems. However, I do not want to have to go to each development system and release the transport manually to Q and P. I want it so that when I release the transport from the development system I created the customizing in then the corresponding transports in the other dev. systems are also released. And when I approve my request in one Quality system then the same happens in the other quality systems.
Is this possible? And how?

Hi Experts,
I have following scenario:
I have created one custom table in which entries will be inserted/modifed through one report program by using alv grid list.
I have one selection screen in which one text box which is used to display the entries from custom table and have one push button: "Transport Release".
whenever user enters a entry in text box and click on push button, report should pop up and display the request numbers regarding the custom table and once user selects that request, the request automatically releases from that system to other systems.
Please let me know is there any FMs for pop up the existing requests and release the requests automatically.

Automatic release of Transport Request

Can we create a recurring transport request that can automatically get released daily and still can be reused to add object the next day?
If yes then how? Do we have an alternative to achieve that functionality?

Hi Mayank,
SAP has provided transports to move objects from one system to subsequent system & it helps to track the changes moved.
Hence SAP doesnt provide ny functionality to use transport request recurringly. This will defy the purpose of tracking the changes moved from one system to subsequent system.

If the SAP delivery version and the active version can be matched, a checkbox is displayed in this column.With the most important object types, the active version and the SAP delivery version can be matched.
When a match is performed, particular properties of the object are compared in the A version and the D version. First it has to be decided whether these properties can be matched automatically or whether this has to be done manually.
A match can be performed automatically for properties if you can be sure that the object is to be used in the same way as before it was transferred from Business Content.
When performing matches manually you have to decide whether the characteristics of a property from the active version are to be retained, or whether the characteristics are to be transferred from the delivery version.
The Match indicator is set as default in order to prevent the customer version being unintentionally overwritten. If the Content of the SAP delivery version is to be matched to the active version, you have to set the Installindicator separately.
The active version is overwritten with the delivery version if
 the match indicator is not set and
 the install indicator is set.

Releasing a Transport Request ends with error code 0012.

Hi,
We have a Development system and a Production System (both running on separate windows machine) but they are not connected in STMS. We perform transporting of Requests at o.s level and NOT through STMS.
We are facing this new problem - We are trying to release a Transport Request in SE01 and it ends with error code 0012. The task inside the Request is released without any error. There is no Notes in SAP Marketplace for this.
Test call of transport control program (tp) ended with return code 0012
Message no. TK094
Diagnosis
Your transport request could not be exported, since all requirements were not fulfilled.
Calling the transport control program tp
"tp EXPCHK EFIK900025 pf=E:\usr\sap\trans\bin\TP_DOMAIN_EFI.PFL -Dtransdir=E:\usr\sa"
which checks the export requirements, returned the following information:
Return code from tp: 0012
Error text from tp: ERROR: Buffer check failed.
System Response
Further processing is terminated.
Procedure
Check the following points:
Feasibility of the transport control program tp
Parameter settings in the transport profile
Availability of the transport directory and the subdirectories (cofiles, data, log, sapnames, bin)
Write authorization for the subdirectories
Write authorization for the files of the subdirectories cofiles, data, log, sapnames
Release the request again when the error has been removed
Please help.

Hi,
Check the below steps.
1. Go To SE09 or SE10.
2. Click 'Display' button.
3. TR will be list out in Tree view.
4. Place the cursor in the TR which is going release.
5. in menu, Request/Task->Complete check->object and
Request/Task->Complete check->Check Request Consistancy
Request/Task->Complete check->Inactive Objects.
6. in above if you get any error, you should rectify the error and repeat all the steps again. otherwise do the step7.
7. Click the 'Release Direclty'[F9] button in the toolbar.

We couldn't release any transport request!

We could't release any transport request on DEV from today.
We could do it until yesterday.
We have never changed any settings.
Except release, we can use SAP system, and
we can import released transport request to QAS .
Also I could tp addtobuffer on DEV.

SE10 -> select transport request -> click [release] button
and, we can see the error message as below.

How to release a transport request with warnings using a function module?

Hi,
I want to release a transport request(which has some warnings) using some function module .
The warnign that i get when i try to release the Transport Request manually is "not all objects could be locked..."
Which function module can I use so i can release such a transport request?
I am currently using TR_RELEASE_REQUEST but I am unable to release the TR, it throws an exception.
Also i wouls assume that the function module mentioned would take care of releasing all the unreleased task
under the request.

As an alternative (to cope with the warnings) you may use TRINT_RELEASE_REQUEST.
However, since this fm offers only a single task/request as IMPORTING parameter you need to take care about unreleased tasks yourself. Looking at SE09/SE10 even there you do not have the option the release a request including all its tasks.

Hi,
Use transaction SE09. Here select "modifiable" .Then click -Display.
Now you get a list of all requests which can be released.
Locate your request number and drill down. Release the sub-request first and then the main request by selecting and using the "transport" icon.

How to release a Transport Request at operating system level. Please specify the complete commands along with the pf parameters for TP Export only.......

tp export <request>
This exports the complete request from the source system. This command starts the export of a request from the operating system level. Only use this command in exceptional cases. The SAP System uses the command expwbo to release requests from CTS transactions
tp cleanbuffer <sapsid>
This deletes successfully imported change requests from the list of requests that are marked for import into the SAP System <SAPSID>. This function is contained in the commands tp import all <sapsid> and tp put <sapsid> .
tp delfrombuffer <request> <sapsid>
If the specified request is marked for import into the specified SAP System, this flag is deleted from the import list.

Hi Tina,
Use SE10 t-code and type abaper user name in the user field then check released check box then display and select request number which is released, double click on said request number and click on "object list of request" Then click on "comment: released" than you can find out the released user name at the end of request number along with dated of released.

if we go for option create, system creates a new TPR.
Can any one guide me how to release and transport from a functional consultatnt point of view.

Tcode : SE09
Check for your user name and then press "Display" button. You will get the list of TPR created. Here you release the child request first and then the parent request.
Basis consultants do the rest in STMS and then import the changes into the Target Client through SE10.

Well, the initial download of CUSTOMER_MAIN (in transaction R3AR2) do'n't run OK, because a lot of customers in selection have a bad data.... and this time, anybody change this data,
Today, i know how to re-made this task.....
But my question is : how can transport this request, created in R3AR2, from Quality to Production ?
If the transport is not possible, the answer for the question is remake the request in Production ?

Did you put your development in a transport when you first saved it? If yes, and if your transport system is properly configured you can release the transport using SE09 and import it into the production using transaction STMS.

Hi Experts,
I have a custom table. Whenever I have inserted some new entries into my table, I would like to add these entries to a new request. So is there any FM which will asks to create a request? I have to use this FM in my report program. And the FM should asks to enter the description of the request also...

U can use FM 'AFX_GF_CTS_REQUEST_GENERATE' to generate transport request.
Or u can use BDC method to craete transport request and save the table entries in this request. Please check the below code.
For table entries- Program ID - R3TR
Object type TABU
and give the value of all the key fields of table.
