Automatic replies font

Hi there,
We’re having a problem with fonts in automatic replies in our exchange 2010/Outlook 2013 environment.
We use Calibri light as a default font in the firm, and need to use this for our automatic replies. We’ve been able to set the font via our login script everywhere except for the auto
replies. It’s possible to change it from the default, Segoe UI, however when set to Calibri light, it reverts back, seemingly at random. When our users set their auto reply, the
font they’ve changed to is usually preserved, they can edit the existing text and all’s well. However, if they delete all the text, there can sometimes still be a line of text formatted in Segoe UI left over from the original. We can work around that issue,
however… if you change either the internal, or external message, the dialogue box will prompt you to alter it for the other, in doing this the whole of the message block will revert back to Segoe UI. If applied, the Segoe UI font applies, if it’s cancelled,
it’ll revert back to the Calibri light font.
Is this a known issue, and if so, is there a way around it?
Many thanks!

Hi,
Automatic reply rules do not respond to the Reply To address in the header of incoming messages. Instead, the default
From address is used.
So in your case, your automatic reply will go to [email protected]

  • Problem with Automatic Replies or Out of Office

    Hi mates!
I´ve just finished migration Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010.
    Today I´ve removed Exchange 2003.
I have a problem with Automatic Replies or Out of Office. When the user active Automatic Replies in Outlook 2010, He has this Error:
Your Out of Office settings cannot be displayed, because the server is currently unavailable. Try again later.
If I logged into OWA, (Options > Set Automatic Replies) I could set it up and it worked fine.
I run Test E-mail AutoConfiguration command to see if AutoDiscover has been configured and the OOF URL is correct:
    https://mail.domain.com/ews/exchange.asmx
I try to browse the OOF URL from IE, It works fine.
Authentication Permission for EWS Virtual Directory is:
    Anonymous – Enabled (For IUSER)
    Basic – Enabled
    Windows – Enabled
    Other authentication methods are disabled.
    WebServicesVirtualDirectory configuration for URL:

I use a certificate for Server HUB/CAS from my CA (Active Directory).
In EMC I have this error for certificate:
The certificate status could not be determinated because the revocation check failed.
But when I generated in the past, this status of this certificate was This certificate is valid for Microsoft Exchange.
    I need help, because I don´t know I do…
    Thanks.

    Hi MAS,
As soon as possible I will install this kb in a PC with Outlook 2010.
Yes, I reset IIS, with the same result.
I check this URL, and I run this command: TestOutlookWebServices -identity user01 with this result:

  • Automatic replies stuck in Outbound SMTP queue - 451 4.4.0 and 451 5.7.3 errors

We have a pair of Exchange 2010 SP3 servers (A and B) with a few DAGs set up on them, plus a third hub transport & client access server (C) which routes in and outbound emails through a mail filtering service.
Normal emails sent from Outlook or OWA are being delivered in and out just fine, but any system generated replies such as OOF or automatic replies set on our Servicedesk mailbox are failing to arrive.
When I look at the queue viewer on A which is the normal active copy of the DAG I can see 100 or more emails sat in a queue called "Exchange2010 Outbound" which is our Send Connector - it's sent to route mail through two smart hosts owned by our
mail filtering provider. The last Error is showing as "451 4.4.0 Primary target IP address responded with: "451 5.7.3 Cannot achieve Exchange server authentication" Attempted failover to alternate host, but that did not succeed. Either there
are no alternate hosts or delivery failed to all alternate hosts"
The only references to that error I can find seem to involve a complete inability to send emails, and are caused by an unticked box on the receive connector for "exchange server authentication", but that *is* enabled on all of our receive connectors
and anyway this is concerned with emails leaving the organisation.
    Any suggestions?

    Hi Vespa,
Agree with Andy. I would like to verify if you are sending outgoing messages through a SmartHost. Because many SMTP Gateways drops "Automatic Replies" by default since they have the Return-Path empty.

  • OWA Automatic Replies pane blank externally in IE

Hello I have a slightly strange issue that has been reported to me.
    This is under EX2010 SP3 RU4
    When viewing in OWA
    Organize E-Mail\Automatic Replies
    or
    Settings\Mail
from external to my organization both pages render a blank window, other tabs in the same section render fine.
If I use firefox from external both pages render fine with the same user and I can change and set the contents.
Internally in IE or Firefox both pages work fine.
This has previously worked both internally and externally on IE

    Hi,
Please ensure IE is the latest version and try to install
RU 5 For Exchange 2010 SP3 to check this issue.
    Refer to the comments from
    this article.
Or try to use compatibility view in IE to view Automatic Replies settings pages in OWA.
    Best Regards.

  • E-mail receipt not sending from selected e-mail in automatic replies (Paid Subscription)

I volunteer for a non-profit.  We had to cancel an event and notify registrants.
I went to look at the email account we set up under options for the "automatic replies." but could not find any corresponding confirmation messages.
The correct e-mail is selected in FormsCentral.  When I did a test, the confirmation  was generated  from the "[email protected]" instead? Why is this?
Thanks,  We're new at this and feel it's a great product, just need it to work correctly for our volunteers.

    HI
    This is kept in queue
probable reason is the message you are trying to send have attachment more than the provided limit on the mail server.
XML messages are mostly have higher size then text files etc.
Ex - If the mail server allows 10 MB file your attachment seems more than that hence it is not able to process
    Thanks
    Gaurav.

  • Automatic Replies: Sender vs ReplyTo Email Address

I receive email from: [email protected] There is a corresponding reply-to email address: [email protected]
When manually replying to the email, the recipient field is populated with the reply-to address: [email protected] as expected. However, Automatic replies are sent to [email protected] instead of [email protected]
How can Automatic replies be customized to use the reply-to email address?

I would say to create server rule in your outlook to forward the email to [email protected] when email is delivered to [email protected]
This makes all your emails will move sent to [email protected] instead of [email protected]

  • Delayed OoO notification in outlook client and OWA when Automatic Replies are scheduled.

So all of our users are having an issue with the OoO notice in outlook ("Automatic replies are turned on click here to turn off)
When they set a scheduled out of office that notice does not immediately show up at the scheduled time. Out of Office replies are sent but in outlook it does not notify them that their OoO is turned on for maybe 10-15 minutes.  So lets say I set an automatic
reply for 11:00 AM I can be in outlook and the notice to turn them off does not show up for quite some time past 11:00.
This happens in office 2010 and 2013, cached and online mode, and it also happens (or I presume does not happen is the correct way to put it) in OWA (using Internet Explorer). If I send myself an email in outlook I see the notice that the recipient is OoO and
when I send the message sometimes the alert comes up. Other times it does not.
I found another discussion referencing this but there was no real answer, or at least the submitter did not respond to it as resolved or what they found to be the issue.

The server performance is certainly questionable, but we haven't gotten very far with upgrading or replacing it and I think something like this would certainly be something we could point to as an example of how the server performance is affecting business
and the delay it causes. But I was really hoping to get something I could use to definitively point to as evidence of it being a server performance problem. Would you, or anyone who reads this, be able to tell me what the results of that cmdlet indicate?

  • Automatic replies Replies to which field "From" or "ReplyTo"

When I setup and automatic replies on my inbox (both internal and external are set)
I receive a message from an email that is set up like
    FROM =  [email protected]
    REPLY TO = [email protected]
Where does my automatic reply go to?

    Hi,
Automatic reply rules do not respond to the Reply To address in the header of incoming messages. Instead, the default

So in your case, your automatic reply will go to [email protected]

  • Automate replacing font in a text field in thousands of documents

    Hi,
We recently discovered that bar codes we use on our forms do not scan accurately when printed on certain types of prined. To resolve this issue, we replaced this font with a new font.
Going forward any new form that we create will use the new font. But we have thousands and thousands of existing forms with the old bar codes. Can anyone give any suggestion on how to automate changing the bar code fonts in this forms.
If we manage to automate this, we will save months of manual effort.
Please get back to me if you have any suggestions that might help us.
Thanks for your time and help
    - George

I answered my own question regarding this with the following code
    1. Set the TextField value to a variable strChar
    2. Based on the indexOf value of strChar "UserName: Some UseName" which is 9.
    3. Separate the first 9 chars using a Left javascript function and assign the to a variable strLeftChar = "UserName"
    4. Separate the remainig chars using a Right javascript function and assign the to a variable strLRightChar = "Some UserName"
    5. Then do the following:
    //Make the caption visible
    pricingNodes.item(i).caption.presence = "visible"
//Set the text field caption text equal to strLeft
    pricingNodes.item(i).caption.value.text.value = strLeft;
//set the text field value text equal to strRight
    pricingNodes.item(i).rawValue = " " + strRight;
//set the caption font weight equal to bold
    pricingNodes.item(i).caption.font.weight = "bold";
Not that neat as a solution, but it does the job if this helps anyone.

  • How to automate exchanging fonts in many documents?

We have font chaos in our InDesign technical documents and need to change all the "old" fonts to "new" fonts. We are not using a font manager program and I unfortunately have no knowledge of programming.
Does anyone know how I could easily automate this process?
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not clear about whether you mean changing a particular font to a differently-named font, or replacing "old" type 1 fonts with "new" TrueType or OpenType fonts with the same or similar names.
If there are paragraph and character styles with the same names in different documents, you can fix one document with the manual Find Font method mentioned in this thread, then synchronize the styles across files by using a book. Even if the documents aren't members of your normal books, you can create a new book to gather the documents, and apply the changes in one operation. Protect your work from unintended results by opening all the files before synchronizing them, so their changes won't be saved (synchronizing closed files saves the changes automatically.) For even better protection, save a copy of all the files. Packaging the book will do this in one operation.

  • Mails stuck in queue when Automatic Replies are enabled

We have a new Exchange 2013 server and moved a few pilot users from the 2010 environment to it.
Everything seems to work OK but we just encountered a strange issue. One of the users turned on his automatic out of office replies and when people send E-mail to his mailbox they receive a 'Delivery delayed' e-mail. All mails to this account seem to be
stuck in the queue (shown in the Exchange Toolbox – Queue viewer) but they DO actually arrive in his Outlook.
    The error message in the queue for his messages is: Recipients:  [email protected];3;3;[{LRT=};{LED=432 4.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver; Agent transient failure during message resubmission[Agent: Mailbox Rules Agent]};{FQDN=};
After turning off his out of office replies, the queue emptied instantly, and no duplicate mails arrived in his mailbox. After turning it back on the queue started filling up again with new mails.
Other pilot users have the same issue.
Has anybody seen this issue before? I checked space on the drives and there seems to be no issue there (so no back pressure issue).
    thanks!

We opened a case with Microsoft support. It took a few weeks for them to find what was causing this issue. I will just copy/paste the summary they gave us.

So the error was thrown by the Transport Service when we are trying to submit the mail.
We also compared the difference between earlier version and CU5 and found “XORIGFROM=[email protected]” is the difference, we started using XORIGFROM verb from CU5.
We did further analysis and found During SMTP Session, we check if the XOrigFrom argument is allowed according to EHLO, capabilities and permissions.
While checking this permission, we check if the session has permission to accept organization headers, and this is where we are failing.
    # we checked the effective permission for "Mailservername" on Default receive connector and found that we had "deny" permission on: Accept Organization headers
    # We also found that the security group "Exchangelegacyinterop" had deny permission for "accept organization headers" on the default receive connector
    # We found that the Exchange server "Mailservername" was a member of "Exchangelegacyinterop"
    # So we removed the "Exchangelegacyinterop" and added the "Mailservername"
    # we gave "Allow" permission on "Accept organization headers"
    # we restarted the MSExchange Transport service
    # We sent an test email to the OOF enable mailbox
    # we found that we got the OOF reply and also the email did not stuck in the queue
    # Issue resolved

  • How to stop Pages v. 5.0 from automatically formatting font

    Hello everyone,
I've found after I've updated to OS X Mavericks and updated my Pages to version 5.0 that upon pressing return, Pages automatically copies the format from the line above. So, if I have a title in bold/itallic or underlined, it will mimic that formatting to the line just below. I realise that this doesn't seem that big of a deal, however, it's quite the annoyance as I find myself constantly pressing delete, taking it off, and retyping it appropriately. It also re-formats it once I've deleted the line. So if I have made a mistake and I delete the text inputted, it will reset to the same format as that of the title above the text. Does anyone know of a solution? Is there something that I can change in preferences?

Okay. Thank you a lot for your reply. Would you be able to describe where exactly these options are in "Format?" I have checked all of the categories in the Format sidebar, but I am unable to find "Next Style." There are three categories for me: "Style, Layout and More."
    Thanks in advance

  • Is there a way to automate missing fonts in thousands of small pdf's for print

    Greetings,
We are receiving thousands of small PDF's from several differnet locations with missing fonts. The controller on the printer is having to perform
font substitution on each page. This causes the printer to cycle and not run at rated speed.
I am wondering is there a way to have these files insert all the missing fonts before they reah the controller on the printer?
    Thank you so much.
    HDRDR

There are tools out in the market which should be able to embed and fix missing fonts. You might look at something like PitStop server.
If no commercial product is out there, you might talk to the developers of such tools for a customization.
    Hope this can help.

  • Apple Mail automatically changing font size while typing

I've been using Apple Mail for about a month now and only just recently did it start exhibiting this unusual behavior where the font type and size of the entire message would change to something different while I was typing! Pressing CTRL+Z a couple times would revert the font to its intended size only to have it change back again a few keystrokes later. I noticed that it only happens when I type a word that contains an apostrophe (it's, David's, we're, isn't, we'll, etc.) and words that get auto-corrected. Going to MAIL | PREFERENCES and changing my Message Font does nothing as the font changes to something not set in Preferences.
Has anybody experienced this before? What did you do to fix it? Any help and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
    Chris

Thanks for the suggestion, Eric. Unfortunately, that didn't do the trick. This is happening on my iMac at home and, just for reassurance, I compared the mail settings side-by-side to my work MacBook (which does not have this issue) -- all settings are identical!

  • Nokia 800 no Automatic Replies option for Outlook

I have 30 users all with brand new Lumia 800's. We have found the option to set an Outlook “Out of Office” message or automatic reply is missing. From what I have managed to ascertain this should be an option in the Outlook settings below the Synchronisation Settings bar.
Does anyone know why the Nokia Lumia 800 seems to be missing this very useful function?
I have added a photo of the aforementioned screen
    Thanks

Quite frankly I think this is an option which is (and should be) on the office PC and not on the phone which should IMO the reason you do not set the OOO message in the first place.
It is an option of the Outlook application and not so much of the mailclient (which is 'just' a part of Outlook)
