Automatic scheduling indicator should be disable in Work order

Hi Friends,
I want to disable Automatic scheduling indicator in work order while releasing,for this i have tried in configuration,infact its not getting disabled.
Could you please suggest me what enhancement spot i could use or any user Exit to meet the requirement.

While you get Automatic Scheduling tick mark in step 3 of the document, select Invisible.

Basic start and finish dates vs scheduled start and finish dates in work order

Hi Friends,
I have observed that whenever releasing the work order,irresepective of number of operations in the work order, system generating scheduling start and finish dates are same, however after releasing the Work order and by adding another operation in the work order, immediately scheduling end date equaling to Basic finish date (i.e.: Basic start and finish dates are equal to Schedule start and finish dates).
Can any body please explain why this is heppening

After adding one more operation in the operation list and save the Work order,then Basic start and finish dates are equal to schedule start and finish dates.

There are many things that affect the order scheduling:
IMG setting - scheduling parameters
Work centre settings
Operation values e.g. work, duration, operation control key settings
Calendars
Etc
So one possible interpretation of the above data is that the initial order operations have no work assigned, or the operation control keys don't require scheduling, or the work centres arn't set up correctly.
Then you add a new operation which does appear to work.
Please supply a screen-shot of the operation tab.

How to avoid automatic data change in service notification from work order

when I change work order address data the address data from the service notification connected to the order is changed too, how can I avoid this change? Is there anything on customizing to control whichs fields are updated automatically.

Hi,
You can trying using Books of Business.
Create a book and add that particular user to that book and at the time of task creation, through a workflow you can assign it to the corresponding book.
This might resolve the access issue you are facing.

Task License Validation Error Message/ Automatic Scheduling for Disk Defrag is not working.

I saw where I could possibly ask you for answers to the problems that I am having with Windows 8.1 pro. First of all I noticed that my disk defragmentation task which was set on daily wasn't operating. It indicated that the last time it ran all disks
for disk defrag was back on 4/20 and on the this morning of 4/26 there was the date 4/20 for all the disks. I went into the Administrator Tools section of Control Panel and found Schedule Tasks. When I opened Schedule Tasks I got the
error message that indicated a Task License Validation Error. It went on to read:The task XML contains a value which is incorrectly formatted or out of range. This is my question...are the two related...the inoperative automatic maintenance of disk defrag
and this error message from task scheduler? And how do I address each issue to solution. Thank you very much.

Weekly schedule line should pass to last working day of the week in SAg

HI,
In a scheduling agreement when we have weekly or monthly schedules the system displays the date in the screen as 12/2010 or 13/2010 for say a weekly schedule.
However when the data is stored in the table the delivery date is always the first working day of the week. In this case when the week is 13/2010 the data is stored in the table as 22/03/2010.
Is there any way to change this to the last working day of the week?
We have some config related to define delivery intervals in IMG--> Sales and Distribution --> Sales --> Sales Documents --> Scheduling Agreements with Delivery Schedules --> Define Delivery Intervals. Will this help solve my issue? If it solves what is the procedure behind this?

Seems the delivery split concept is different from this requirement. Can Delivery intervals concept help us or not? IMG--> Slaes and Distribution --> Sales --> Sales Documents --> Scheduling Agreements with Delivery Schedules --> Control EDI Inbound Processing --> Define Delivery Intervals.

Preventing Deletion indicator in PR once work order is completed

Dear colleagues,
Users create work orders in IW31 with the choice of external service; control key is PM02. Once work order is saved purchase requisition (PR) is created in background. With reference to PR, purchase order (PO) is created by purchase specialist.
When work order is technically completed (system status TECO) deletion indicator is set to PR line item(s) automatically which result in undesirable situations since PR(s) has subject to release strategy in our system.
Is it possible to prevent setting deletion indicator in PR once reference work order is technically completed?

Hi,
In this case that behavior has negative effects on PR Workflow process because in our system when PR(s) is created it is subject to release strategy according to preconfigured conditions.
Once the order is technically completed (TECO) deletion indicator is set to PR line item(s) automatically meanwhile release strategy tab is disappeared from PR line item(s).
In addition to that in ME54N system gives the MEPO822 (Purchase requisition XXXXXXXXX cannot be released) message even PR is approved before the order is technically completed.

Regarding work order urgent pls

Hi,
     i have a requirement where i need to get the time slots dynamically which i need to use in select query to retrieve data.
the time slots are,
S1 : 8-10 AM
S2 : 10-12
S3 : 12-14
S4 : 14-16
AM : 08-12 and goes on upto 20.00 PM
when u open a workorder in iw33 transaction in the location tab u can find an ABC indicator where we are using these time slots for the work order.
Now my problem is to select the work orders based upon the current systime and timeslot.
For eg:   if user executes the report say at 10.00 AM he should get all the work orders falling in the time slots S1. in the same way if he executes the report at 12.00 he should get work orders falling in the time slot S1,S2,AM and the user may execute the report at any time.
can anyone suggest how to implement the code and is there any functional module which takes current time and gives the time slots as output.
In the standard workorder u wont find the time slots as S1, S2,S3 u will find it as A,B,C,D in ABC indicator field of location tab.
pls urgent help me and surely u can expect points.

when
endcase .
vl = lower value
vh = higher value and then substitute the same in the
say user has entered a time of 11:40 am
then set the lower value to 8
and higher to 12
vl = 8
vh = 12
do this in the case endcase.
select query
select f1 f2 ...
        fx   between   vl and vh .

Work Order History

hi all,
I want to create Work Order (WO) history / back date.
I've already tried this way:
1. Create WO
2. Change WO Date (16.01.2010 --> 16.01.2008)
3. Un-tick Automatic Schedule-->save
4. Open WO, click Order-Functions-Complete-Do Not Execute
but the results,the date of WO back again as previously , why? whether there is another way?
please tell me how tu create Work Order back date..

Hi,
Check the folowing settings in SPRO:
1)Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Maintenance and Service Processing>Maintenance and Service Orders>Scheduling>Set Scheduling Parameters. Here Set Do not adjust basic dates ,dep.reqmts to operation dates and maintain Maximum number of days start date can be in the past in the field "Start in Past". These two settings will not change basic start & finish as well as operation early start & early finish dates. If the no of days mentioned in "Start in Past " field is exceeded, the system automatically overrides the set scheduling type and uses "today" scheduling.
The best solution however would be to create historical orders via IW61.

Purchase Reqs created through work orders

Currently when I attach a non-stock item into a work order it create a purchase req. The purchase req is automatically released, or is released when the work order is. The problem is that we have a release strategy that we must follow here at my company. When the Reg is automatically release it does not follow this strategy.
Is there a way that i could turn off this functionality, and have those req follow our standard release strategy.

If you don't want to convert PR into PO, then why you are creating it. There can be two cases:
1. You want to create PR but don't want the material right now. In that case change the delivery date.
2. You don't want to do anything now. You want material after 6 months, only you want is to create a maintenanc eorder. In
that case you can enter the material nad service on ly at the time of requirement.
You can talk to MM consultant also you can put control this by release strategy also.
Is there any other case that you are facing. Please discuss.

Work Order DFF during Release

Hi All,
We are evaluating if we can populate Work Order DFF while creating work orders from ASCP.
User will select planned orders in ASCP for release. Then the user can enter some field in ASCP.
When the planned orders are released, this field entered should be populated in Work Order DFF.
Request any pointers how can we achieve this.

Schedule lines should be in gray mode

Hi Gurus,
Any idea how to make the schedule lines in gray mode.
My client demand is when we save the sales order and
we go to va02 schedule lines should show in gray mode to avoid
the changes quantity.

the solution suggested above with the help of user-exit USER_EXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION (Include MV45AFZZ) is the correct way to make the schedule lines unchangable. But please take into consideration that in the "normal" sales orders you do not need to go to the schedule line screen to change date or quantity. It is sufficient that you change the date or quantity on the item level. Then the schedule lines will be changed (created/deleted) in the background automatically.
So, if you really want to grey out the quantity and date fields, you have to do this on all screens (Sales Overview, Procurement, Shipment etc.) also on the item level. Then the item will be unchangable at all. Please be careful with this.
So, you have to grey out all item date and quantity fields in all screens of the order. To do unchangable only schedule line screen is then not sufficient.
As Manam said above, the USER_EXIT_FIELD_MODIFICATION is the only correct place to make the fields unchangable. I can only confirm this.

I have the same problem and can't seem to figure out what the problem is. I rebuilt my iTunes library and still my 6G nano crahes whenever I load an AAC tune onto it. MP3s and podcasts all work fine, it's just the AACs...
Just *loading* an AAC song will cause the Nano 6G to reboot as soon as it disconnects from Itunes. It will then reboot a few times and then go into recovery mode. :-(

Automatic scheduling of Cproject

Hi All,
We have changed the plan finish date of an item from 31.12.2011 to 31.12.2012. Corresponding Cproject project definition is in Released status. As a part of synchronization the dates on the Cproject project definition changes to 31.12.2012. But the dates are not copied to the lower hierarchy i.e. tasks. We have only tasks under PD.
System message is u2013 Can not update scheduling data
Reason u2013 As the Cproject is in Released status scheduling can not happen automatically. Scheduling should be carried out manually.
How to enable scheduling automatically when the Cproject project is Released. Business do not want manual scheduling of Cproject project.

There's no standard way to activate the automatic scheduling once the project has been released.
You will have to enhance standard class CL_PPM_SCHEDULING / method GET_SCHEDULING_FORCE and force the parameter rv_scheduling_force to abap_true.

Automatic confirmation indicator set in TO

Dear forum
I am creating a transfer order with reference to a delivery, using transaction LT03.
But when I look at the transfer order in display mode after it is created, the Confirmation indicator (LTAK-KQUIT) is set automatically in the TO.
How is the configuration made to avoid having the confirmation indicator set in the transfer order?
I had a look at the IMG settings in LE->WM->Activities->Confirmation and removed the "Confirm immediately" indicator set for the movement type 601 GI for delivery...but it did not do it for me, the Confirmation indicator is still set in the transfer order.
Anyone knows?

From SAP Help:
"Immediate confirmation of a transfer order item only works out
*if the respective movement type does not disallow this
*if the storage type from which the materials are picked is not subject to pick confirmation
*if the storage type into which the materials are put away does not have a putaway confirmation requirement."
If you remove any of this conditions, then the stock transfer order will not be set to confirmed automatically. In my case, I just had to set the "confirm stock removal" indicator for the storage type in question, in order to remove the automatic confirmation indicator in the stock transfer order.

Final issue indicator on the general data button on the work order

Hi Gurus,
can anybody please let me know why the final issue check box is checked automatically even before the goods are issued via migo against the work orders. This check box is on the general data tab of the material entered on the components tab of the work order. Please help. As a result of this, the store room clerk cannot issue the material againsth the work order, because this check mark is checked. I want to understand what is causing the check mark to be checked automaticallu even before tthe materials are issued out

Hello!
This might have occured due to completion confirmation of order before goods issue. Generally this happens if final issue indicator is set as default in completion confirmation tab. Please check and reply if problem is something else.
