Automatic scheduling of bookmarked web pages

Does anybody know how you can set up the E71 to automatically load and view a web page at a scheduled time of day ? The web page I want is one of my bookmarks.

The first two problems (box cycling from element to element on page, scroll bar returning to top) can be caused by a stuck (or defective) Tab key on the keyboard. Such damage can be caused by a liquid spill; just one tiny droplet is enough to short a wafer switch under one key.
The last issue (black box, white text - sounds sorta like a debugger window) I haven't seen, but could be caused by something similar.
To check for that, try using a different keyboard. If you're using a wireless keyboard, turn it off and see if the oddities stop.

Embed Input schedule in a web page in BPC NW 7.0 SP 04

Hi All,
Is it possible to embed an Input Schedule in Web Page?
I've created a .htm file of the input schedule by saving it as 'web ready' file. However, when I preview the web page, html for the input schedule is displayed.
If embedding is not supported, then is it possible to provide a 'link' for the input schedule in the web page. When the user clicks on the link, BPC for excel should be launched and selected schedule should open.

Thanks all for the response.
We have lot of workbook logic and macros involved in our input schedule. My understanding is that we cannot replicate the same in Live Reports. Hence the thought to integrate the input schedules to a portal.
Is this funtionality available in NW 7.5? or in any future release?

Deactivate automatic content migration for Web Page Composer (WPC) 2

Hi,
on our production system we are using at the moment Web Page Composer for SAP NetWeaver 7.0. Soon we would like to upgrade the system to release 7.3
We have now already set up the content for the new Web Page Composer on a pre-production system. After the production system is upgraded to the new release, it is planned that we will transport the content for the new Web Page Composer from the pre-production to the production system.
As far as I know, the content of the old Web Page Composer gets automatically migrated during the upgrade of the production system. Due to the reason we will the use content of the pre-production system, the automatic migration step is not necessary anymore during the upgrade.
Is there any configuration option that allows us to disable the automatic migration of old Web Page Composer content?

Regarding the feedback of the SAP support, it is not possible to deactivate the automatic content migration for the Web Page Composer.

ISO 6 Safari will not bookmark web pages

I have upgraded to IOS 6 on my iPhone four, when I try to bookmark a web page in Safari it will not save the web page. I have turned off ICloud in settings, because Safari is alway syncing with iCloud. But this has not solved the problem. I wish I had not up graded to IOS 6, what is wrong with Apple crap Safari, Crap maps and phone seems to be slower with battery drain. What is going on? Can anyone help me. It is really starting to pee me off because I cannot bookmark any web sites and as a consequence I am losing loads of information.

It sounds like your bookmarks file might have become corrupt.
Before checking the bookmarks file, trash the Safari preferences file just to make sure that is not affecting things:
/Users/YourUsername/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
If that makes no difference, try this:
1 Export your Safari bookmarks via the Safari File menu -> Export Bookmarks...
2 Quit Safari
3 Move /Users/YourUsername/Library/Safari/Bookmarks.plist onto your Desktop
4 Restart Safari and use File menu -> Import Bookmarks... to import the bookmark file you saved in step 1.
If that does allow you to save sites again, you can trash the Bookmarks.plist file you moved to the Desktop in step 3.

When opening a new tab, it automaticaly loads a web page, can this be reset to blank or an alternative web page??

Is there a way to automate creation of Bookmarks in Pages?

Hi Folks,
I am attempting to switch over to Apple Pages as my word processor. I currently use LibreOffice (formally OpenOffice), and have also used Word (up to v. 2011).
There is one feature lacking in Pages that for me is a deal breaker when working with long documents. There is no document navigation tool.
In WORD it's called the "Document Map". In OpenOffice/LibreOffice it is called the Navigator. The Navigator is better than Word's implementation as it allows one to navigate to any type of object in the document... creating a table of "map" of them.
I see that one can use Bookmarks as a workaround for a Word-like Document Map. But this means creating a new book mark for every Heading I need to be mapped out. In Word if a heading has a level assigned to it, it becomes part of the document map.

My mistake. The last time I checked the opensource world was awash with statements to the effect that OO was dead. I then discovered that LibreOffice was picking up where OO left off.
I now see that OO is still going. So I guess people were making a fuss about nothing when the Oracle / Sun thing happened.
Either way, Apple Pages lacks the Navigation feature found in OO/LO, and Word. And that is what I'd like to find a way to work around.
I had to drop word on this kind of document because its way of handling numbered lists within paragraph styles was driving me nuts, as it had done for the person I was assisting, and has done for many other people I see have posted issues about that as far back as 2003 or earlier. So I switched my friends document over to Pages, as that's installed by default on her MBP. But she really wanted the document map functionality that was in Word. OO/LO was my next option, and the one I am running with for now.

How can I make (Subject) Folders ... and name them ... and then save/bookmark web-pages in that folder?

How to redirect the first web page?

Hey everyone. Does anyone know how to set up a firewall or router so that when an IP is first assigned, the very first web page that they pull up (port 80 request) is automatically redirected to a web page. But only on the first web page, so that they can go ahead and surf other subsequent pages after they view the splash screen.

Actually, what I mean is similar to when you log into your hotel's Wifi. Whenever you open up a browser, you get redirected to some splash page where you have to accept some terms and conditions. Im having a problem with Firefox opening web pages that i have set as my home page such as Google also will not open Yahoo but will open most bookmarked pages

After starting Firefox the Firefox homepage comes up with the google search, but if i enter anything in the search bar, nothing happens it just says done. Also my homepage is Google, imported from Internet Explorer, but doesn't come up when i start Firefox, And Also at the top on the tab it just says untitled. Now with that being said if i enter in yahoo or yahoo.com in the search tab or even enter in the actual web address, it still doesn't open it just says done at the bottom of the page and nothing happens, But if i go to the Bookmarks also imported from Internet Explorer it will open or display most all of the web pages it just seems to be having problems with search engines such as Google, and Yahoo. Now if i enter Ask.com in the web address search tab it will open that page but if i enter Google.com or Yahoo.com nothing. Also like i said most all bookmarks will open but yahoo or my yahoo that is saved in Bookmarks will not. and nothing happens with any entry made into the Google search displayed on the the Firefox Start Page.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

How can I prevent web pages from automatically reloading, such as The Druge Report, etc.

Several web sites I frequent automatically reload their front page whenever they want to...not when I manually refresh...interrupting streaming videos, etc. I do not want these pages to do this, only I want the ability to manually refresh a web page.

Yes, many sites need JavaScript to be enabled to work properly. 
This site will most likely not work and in the Knowledge Base you see the content for all Firefox versions and platforms. 
So you shouldn't disable JavaScript globally, but you can do that selectively on a specific tab or based on websites.
