Automatic valuation of the MIC

I want to do the automatic valuation of the MIC (as accepted or rejected) depending on the results recorded. How is it possible?

Hi,
Maintain following  -
1) For the sampling procedure, maintain the valuation type which does not include manual valuation.
2) In the inspection plan, maintain the control indicator as sampling procedure required & assign this sampling scheme to the inspection plan.
3) If the inspection characteristics is quantitative, then maintain the target value, upper limit & lower limit.
4) If the inspection characteristics is qualitative, maintain the catalgue & code groups & codes for the inspection plan. (Maintain the acceptable & rejected codes in Selected Sets before this).
5) Based on the above settings, system will accept or reject the characteristics based on the recorded results or selected code in the inspection lot.

  • Automatic Valuation of MICs'

    Dear All,
I am implementing Calibration management. Here, the customer is measuring around 60 parameters for each test equipment and then gives the final UD.
As the parameters are more, they do not want manual valuation for the MICs. Once they entered the measured result, during valuation (by selecting all MICs') system should automatically mark as Accpeted or Rejected.
I hope this is possible, when we measure the Mean value between the limits. But here we have only Target Value, Only Lower / Upper Limits. They do not want to enter the Non cofirming Units or no of defects, through which we can do automatic valuation.
Requirement is "They will enter only the meaured value. On Bulk Selection and Valuation, system should give the valuation as accepted or rejected".
    Please guide.

    dear Gajesh
i have used valuation mode mentioned above . but to my tests , the valuation windows still pup-up and the valuation suggested by sap is based on average value
so  is it possible to automaticaly valuate witout subscreen pup-up and the final valuation based on single value ?

  • How do I turn off the feature in iTunes that automatically starts up iTunes when I press the mic button on my headphones?

Okay, so I guess the mic button in my headphones is broken and so it acts like I have pressed it even though I have not. So everytime I have my head phones plugged in itunes shows up and everytime I try close out or pause iTunes, it just starts right back up again and I have to do this constantly. My temporary solution was to just turn my iTunes volume all the way down but it still pops up with notifications that says a song is playing. It is gettin annoying because I cannot watch Netflix or anything else without getting itunes pop ups.  I was just wondering if there was any way to disable the feature?

The mic button is probably sending a signal (or command) that works like a keyboard shortcut to open the app.
System Preferences>Keyboard - under the Shortcuts tab, clear ANY iTunes shortcuts that appear in the list.

  • Automatic Valuation and Closing of Master Inspection Characteristic during

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement wherein some of the MICs need to be valuated manually and others automatically by the system.
I want that the characteristics should get automatically valuated and closed on putting the results in result recording screen.
I have tried many options but failed. I don t want to change the plant settings for result recording and want it to happen at characteristic level.
Please suggest, if there is any setting for this.
    Thanks
    Arun

check your sampling procedures and use the appropriate valuation mode to evaluate a char. manual or automatic. The evaluation mode in the sam.proc drives the behavior of char. evaluation. For MIC's - based on their evalution requirements assign the samp.procedure in the task list.
    Thanks,

  • Automatic PO at the time of GR

For Automatic PO at the time of GR when I want to assign the Plant to stanadrd Purchasing Organisation I am not able to do it. I am not able to make any entries.
    Any guide?
    Regards

For automatic PO at the time of GR following are the prerequisites:
    1) In Customizing
    a) Auto PO generation must be activated in Mov. Typ 101 & 161
    b) The plant for which GR is entered must be assigned to standard Pur. Org.
    c) Default Document type for PO must be specified in GR ( MB 01)
    2) Application - Front end side
    a) material must be valuated material
    b) Purchasing Info record must exist for vendor , material & standard Pur Org.
    c) Conditions in Info Recors must be valid.
    d) Applicable for stock items & not consumable items
    e) You cannot enter any movement in GR block stock
    f)  Material Master & vendor master recors must.
If you ensure all above settings then it is possible to have auto PO during GR.

  • QE71 - automatic valuation is not happening

    Hi,
We have created a quality plan with free inspection points,
Sample size is given as 1 and we would like to record results for 12 times for this sample.
We use QE71 for recording results but automatic valuation is not happening.
So, we are navigating to manual processing and evaluating and closing the characteristics one by one ( System takes you to QE11 screen )
How can we automate the chracteristics evaluation and closing them for 1 sample and 12 recordings - in one step with QE71 ?
    Rgds,
    Manohar

    Hello Manohar,
Try this if works for you,
goto SPRO>QM> Basic Settting >setting at Plant Level > Plant> Result Recording > Recording Configuration > Automatic Close.
Will you please kindly mention what settings you are using in sampling procedure if any?

  • Remove authorization of forcefully accepting the MIC.

    Dear All
While result recording if value entered is not equal to or in between the specified limit then MIC is rejected automatically. But there is an option to set it for processing and then forcefully accepting it. I want to remove this authorization, because if value of MIC is not in between the limits then the MIC should be rejected.. Plz suggest HOW?
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear
Plz guide,Is their any other way to accept the MIC with wrong value if i have disabled the Force tab. I mean if the MIC is showing rejected by system, user is not able to change the status to accept it at any cost.

  • Got the mic working in Skype w/Windows 7 RC 64 bit on Mac Book Pro

I managed to get the mic working in Skype running Windows 7 RC 64 bit on my Mac Book Pro.
It's a Skype problem. The program automatically selects the DIGITAL input. You need to change it to the RealTex internal microphone.
From Skype, go into Tools -> Options -> Audio Settings and make sure the microphone is selected instead of the digital input.
    Works for me.

You may need to modify the installer script that may block anything beyond certain build; or install drivers individually.
Boot Camp 2.1 is now over a year old. There ARE newer drivers on newer later copies of OS X, both retail (10.5.6) and OEM, and in order to be "compatible" those are still 2.0.xxx versions. People have run into trouble installing their newer BC only to have BC 2.1 corrupt their install.
Snow Leopard includes later drivers and part of BC 3.0.
I bought Leopard (10.5.0) before I needed or wanted really to - I felt it would need six months to work out the kinks, but I also wanted 'new' Boot Camp, too. Well, it had 2.0 all right, but same drivers as Boot Camp 1.4 beta from Sept '07 and earlier.
Windows 7 is pretty good about finding what is missing or needed, but there are some motherboard specific drivers it may not provide. Some news sites have said that later builds than 7100 have support for Nvidia logicboards and others that were missing or problematic... but I'd hold off and avoid leaked builds.
If you can tolerate or live with limited functionality or source drivers and patch things, even the Apple installer and drivers, you may be okay.
I'm impressed, Windows installer, update, ability to rollback, check points, and how well it runs. Much more reliable and stable and problem free. One thing I would do is make sure you have enough room, and allow 20GB / 24% free space just so you have a couple restore check points in case you need to. It is all too easy to use 10-15GB for those and come in handy.
Any vendor that writes API and drivers has found they have their work cut out, and that of course includes Kaspersky and others.
The first and only time I attempted to install Apple Setup Windows put up an alert "Known Incompatible" known to cause stability issues or something. And I was and generally do use the Windows 7 Compatibility Mode for installing drivers (control click).

  • How can we group the MIC's ?

    Hi Experts,
While creating inspection plan can we maintain the MIC's in the below format
        1.0  AAAA
                 1.1  XXX
                 1.2  YYY
                 1.3   ZZZ
        2. 0 BBBB
                2.1 GGG
                2.2 HHH
        3.0  CCCC
                3.1 JJJ
                3.2 KKK
                3.4 LLL
                3.5 MMM
All these are different MIC's grouping into one MIC. When we enter result for 1.1,1.2,1.3 if all the 3 are approved, 1.0  should automatically give as approved. The people who are taking userdecision should be able to see the summurized result that is 1.0,2.0,3.0.  Is this option possible in SAP-QM.
    Regards,
    Shwetha.

There is one possible way but it is not all that slick.
You set up the three "sub" characteristics with automatic defect recording.  Any out-of-spec result will create at least one defect for the characteristic(s).
You set up the "summarized" characteristic as a calculated characteristic with a spec of 0 (zero).
    In the formula specify C40010 + C40020 + C40030.
C4 is the number of defects for the characteristic.  Any value greater then zero will make this value out-of-spec.
Thus, if any of the sub characteristics are out--of-spec, the related calculated characteristic will also be out-of-spec.  The value for the calculated characteristic would be the number of defects... 1, 2 or 3 probably.
In the UD, the characteristics that are out-of-spec are usually displayed right on the first screen, (chars relevant for the UD).  That is standard, SAP delivered out of the box, unless some has changed the config for the UD screen on you.

  • Automatic valuation of inspection point for physical samples.

    Hi,
My requirement is after recording results (QE11) for each and every sample,  automatic valuation of inspection point to be done.
Inspection point valuation not done automatically even though I have created the required details in inspection Plan.
I have maintained the following details  in inspection plan
    In Inspection plan header:
Inspection Point :  200 &  Sample Drawing Procedure
    In Inspection Plan Operation Details:
Insp.Point Completion: Automatic valuation based on inspection point definition.
Is there any settings to be done in customiszation.
Please help me to solve this issue.
    Thanks & Regards
    V.Devaraj

    Hello Sap-Guys.
I am facing the same problem, and I did several workarounds, to evalueate the inspection point by myself.
    The problem is this :
We are using RFC-techniques to evaluate samples.
Shortly, there is an inspection , which is defined, to be per point, consisting of two user fields, date and time. There must be three things (characteristics )controlled, two manually, by the workers, and the third will be calculated internally by sap via formula.
The rfc-possibilities are provided by myself, building a rfc-enabled z-module, which calls some SAP-BAPIS, from which one is called
    BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS
Until now I do not think, it behaves like tha sap-gui.
Am I doing something wrong, or does this module really not behave like the sap gui ???
If I evaluate the very first char , I check, whether this is the only one for this actual inspection point.
If so, I delete the code groups, if any, (only quantitative evaluation til now ) and the point stays grey, ok, because there are still two other char-evaluations missing.
If my char to evaluate is not the first, then I check, which are stil left, AND , if there are any left without evaluation, I also erase code and codegroups ( if any ) in the insppoint structure, so the char gets its evaluation and the point still stays grey.
But if there had been already any evaluations, I manually check , whether my actual value meets the tolerances, and then I manually tell the inspection-point structure, which code must be used, in order to set its own state correctly.
This means, if my actual sample meets the tolerances, and only one sample was rejected , I tell the inspection point, to stay red, by setting the approoriate code manually from qplak.
If all others were ok, but the actual evaluation ( calculated manually again, tolerances ... ) is not ok, then i tell the inspection point structure, to get "red".
I do this every time, a evaluation takes place, and it works nice for simple values.
And here is my big Problem :
My last characteristic of the three to be evaluated, must not be evaluated by the workers, but BY calculation inside sap, BECAUSE IT HAS A FORMULA.
Especially for this case I left a comment in my code, and now this case occurred.
So, what could be a better approach , to use this bapi, AND trigger automatic inspectionpoint evaluation WITHOUT MY ENTIRE WORKAROUND ( where I now see, that it cannot deal with formulas ) ???
( It could, if I debugged deep enough, to check, how it builds the formula ) , but bapis are there to use them.
    Aren`t they???
Could anybody give me a hint ?
    Thx and best regards

  • Mic Placement/Sound Proofing The Mic Area

Hey guys,im having trouble with my vocals getting lost in the mix of my songs..i think one reason is that my mic (U87) has no sort of sound proofing around it..i usually sit the mic in a corner of the room and record vocals just like that..but now im wondering should i sound proof that area and maybe i would get a better vocal sound..im running my mic into the Focurite Trackmaster Pro,out of that into my M-Box..levels are pretty good before i record so i dont think its a level problem. i always fing my self playing(fader fighter) when im mixing..i cut the vocal up now the snare sounds to low,i cut the snare up now the vocal sounds to low..help please!!

Unless you're noticing some odd ambience being recorded with the vocal then I'm not sure sound "treatment" will be the thing you need.
(Sound proofing is to stop leakage of sound in or out of the room, treatment is aligning the sound within the room.)
Sounds more like you need to look at the way you're mixing, and/or recording the vocal. If you're having problems with the vocal taking away from the snare and vice versa, then maybe look at the way you treat the two sounds, try making them fit into more different frequency ranges to separate them more. Or try treating them with different ambiences. They're such different instruments I don't quite see how they should cause a problem in the mix. I can't say I've ever thought "man that snare gets in the way of the vocal." that's like saying, "turn the hi hat down it's ruining the bass part."
Think about how you're equing the vox/snare and how you are compressing them if at all, as well.
Also maybe try monitoring differently try listening to your mix in the car or at a friends to compare how it sounds in different places.
You will have to automate the levels of the vocal unless it's VERY consistently performed thats just the nature of a human voice.

  • How to switch off automatic creation of the business partner?

    Hello!
Advise please why in erp after creation of the customer automatically form business partner? How to switch off automatic creation of the business partner? It very much disturbs, because business partner are created from crm. Because of automatic creation business partners are duplicated.

    Hi,
I have made the following customizing settings to activate customer integration with business partner, but the problem is when I create a BP with a role (FI-Customer) the customer is not created automatically.
    1. Set BP Role Category for Direction BP to Customer
Roles: FLCU00 - Business Partner FI Customer (FS: BP)
FLCU01 - Business Partner Customer (FS: BP)
    2. Defined the Number assignment for Direction BP to customer
    4. Customer account group and numbering is also defined.
    3. Created a BP with BP Role FLCU00, I can see the Customer - General Data tab, but no customer was automatically generated by the system.
Kindly let me know if any customizing I have missed.

  • Why is the mic not working working on speaker mode, even though siri and voice memos are working?

I bought my iphone 4s from canada about less than a month ago. It worked perfectly fine, until i recently discovered that the mic on speaker mode stopped working. That means, when i speak to someone on speaker  during a call, they are unable to hear me.However Siri and voice memos are working fine.  I could initially face-time but now i cant. I have also tried restoring my iphone a few times.
As i am based out of india, I contacted apple in India, they refused to touch the phone as it was purchased in Canada and the warranty is apparently applicable only in the country of purchase. I can in no way go back to canada to get the phone replaced. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can resolve this? Shouldnt apple be able to get this sorted since its a brand new phone under warranty?

I have Dragon Dictate but did not notice until now that the earphone jack is only for listening so I cannot dictate using headphones and the mic on the computer is not good enough for that. A friend gave me a USB card that says 3D Sound on top; it is  a plastic case, charcoal gray in color and side jacks to connect headphone and mic. Connected to computer but it does not do a thing. Any ideas on how to make it work?

You are not supposed to connect a pair of speakers(as in left and right in a stereo pair)to two separate out jacks on the sound card.the place on the card where headphones/speakers with the mini jack goes is the right place.

  • I purchased my iMac used.  When I try to update my apps the computer automatically fills in the previous owner's Apple ID and I can't change it.  Any ideas?

I purchased my iMac used.  When I try to update apps in AppStore, the computer automatically fills in the previous owner's email address and it won't let me delete it to enter mine.  I have been using my own apple ID and password on this computer for other things without a problem.  Any ideas?

Before buying a second-hand computer, you should have run Apple Diagnostics or the Apple Hardware Test, whichever is applicable.
The first thing to do after buying the computer is to erase the internal drive and install a clean copy of OS X. You—not the original owner—must do that. Changes made by Apple over the years have made this seemingly straightforward task very complex.
How you go about it depends on the model, and on whether you already own another Mac. If you're not sure of the model, enter the serial number on this page. Then find the model on this page to see what OS version was originally installed.
It's unsafe, and may be unlawful, to use a computer with software installed by a previous owner.
    1. If you don't own another Mac
    a. If the machine shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, you need a boxed and shrink-wrapped retail Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6) installation disc from the Apple Store or a reputable reseller—not from eBay or anything of the kind. If the machine is very old and has less than 1 GB of memory, you'll need to add more in order to install 10.6. Preferably, install as much memory as it can take, according to the technical specifications.
    b. If the machine shipped with OS X 10.6, you need the installation media that came with it: gray installation discs, or a USB flash drive for a MacBook Air. You should have received the media from the original owner, but if you didn't, order replacements from Apple. A retail disc, or the gray discs from another model, will not work.
To start up from an optical disc or a flash drive, insert it, then restart the computer and hold down the C key at the startup chime. Release the key when you see the gray Apple logo on the screen.
    c. If the machine shipped with OS X 10.7 or later, you don't need media. It should start up in Internet Recovery mode when you hold down the key combination option-command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a spinning globe.
    d. Some 2010-2011 models shipped with OS X 10.6 and received a firmware update after 10.7 was released, enabling them to use Internet Recovery. If you have one of those models, you can't reinstall 10.6 even from the original media, and Internet Recovery will not work either without the original owner's Apple ID. In that case, contact Apple Support, or take the machine to an Apple Store or another authorized service provider to have the OS installed.
    2. If you do own another Mac
If you already own another Mac that was upgraded in the App Store to the version of OS X that you want to install, and if the new Mac is compatible with it, then you can install it. Use Recovery Disk Assistant to prepare a USB device, then start up the new Mac from it by holding down the C key at the startup chime. Alternatively, if you have a Time Machine backup of OS X 10.7.3 or later on an external hard drive (not a Time Capsule or other network device), you can start from that by holding down the option key and selecting it from the row of icons that appears. Note that if your other Mac was never upgraded in the App Store, you can't use this method.
    3. Partition and install OS X
    a. If you see a lock screen when trying to start up from installation media or in Recovery mode, then a firmware password was set by the previous owner, or the machine was remotely locked via iCloud. You'll either have to contact the owner or take the machine to an Apple Store or another service provider to be unlocked. You may be asked for proof of ownership.
    b. Launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the internal drive—not any of the volume icons nested beneath it. In the  Partition tab, select the default options: a GUID partition table with one data volume in Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format. This operation will permanently remove all existing data on the drive.
    c. An unusual problem may arise if all the following conditions apply:
OS X 10.7 or later was installed by the previous owner
The startup volume was encrypted with FileVault
You're booted in Recovery mode (that is, not from a 10.6 installation disc)
In that case, you won't be able to unlock the volume or partition the drive without the FileVault password. Ask for guidance or see this discussion.
    d. After partitioning, quit Disk Utility and run the OS X Installer. If you're installing a version of OS X acquired from the App Store, you will need the Apple ID and password that you used. When the installation is done, the system will automatically restart into the Setup Assistant, which will prompt you to transfer the data from another Mac, its backups, or from a Windows computer. If you have any data to transfer, this is usually the best time to do it.
    e. Run Software Update and install all available system updates from Apple. To upgrade to a major version of OS X newer than 10.6, get it from the Mac App Store. Note that you can't keep an upgraded version that was installed by the original owner. He or she can't legally transfer it to you, and without the Apple ID you won't be able to update it in Software Update or reinstall, if that becomes necessary. The same goes for any App Store products that the previous owner installed—you have to repurchase them.
    4. Other issues
    a. If the original owner "accepted" the bundled iLife applications (iPhoto, iMovie, and Garage Band) in the App Store so that he or she could update them, then they're irrevocably linked to that Apple ID and you won't be able to download them without buying them. Reportedly, Mac App Store Customer Service has sometimes issued redemption codes for these apps to second owners who asked.
    b. If the previous owner didn't deauthorize the computer in the iTunes Store under his Apple ID, you wont be able to  authorize it immediately under your ID. In that case, you'll either have to wait up to 90 days or contact iTunes Support.
    c. When trying to create a new iCloud account, you might get a failure message: "Account limit reached." Apple imposes a lifetime limit of three iCloud account setups per device. Erasing the device does not reset the limit. You can still use an iCloud account that was created on another device, but you won't be able to create a new one. Contact iCloud Support for more information. The setup limit doesn't apply to Apple ID accounts used for other services, such as the iTunes and Mac App Stores, or iMessage. You can create as many of those accounts as you like.
