Automatically accept FaceTime calls on my Mac OS X Yosemite, 10.10.2 from a specific phone number

I would like to be able to call my Mac FaceTime and have it automatically accept my call so that I can check on my puppy. I tried using the Terminal and typing in syntax that I had seen on other forums, but it didn't work.
Please help! I need foolproof instructions because I'm not all that tech savvy.

Maybe some 3rd parties tools?

I have a Mac Mini using OSX Mountain Lion, an iPad 2, and an iPhone 4. I tried to receive a FaceTime call on my Mac but it was telling the caller that it was busy. I was however able to call her iPhone from FaceTime on my Mac and we connected that way. After our video conversation I tried testing this by calling my Mac from my iPhone. I also received the message that it was busy. I should also add that when I first received the call I had my iPad FaceTime turned on. The iPad was ringing but not the Mac. So I turned off FaceTime on my iPad and had her call me back again using my email address. As noted it said it was busy. Please help!

Can I use my personal and work email addresses to accept FaceTime call on my iPad?

I'd like to use my personal email account to accept FaceTime calls from family and give out my work email to accept FaceTime calls from work colleagues. I have set up both accounts and verified the addresses with my apple ID, but only the personal address works for FaceTime. Is what I want to do possible? Cheers!

I answered my own question. I needed to add my work email address to my iPad FaceTime settings. Works perfect now.

It sounds like you are wanting to update the Apps that were synced over from your computer to your new iPhone 5s. If you are clicking Updates in the App Store in the bottom right corner, would you mind clarifying what happens when you are trying to update them?

Cannot Call Out to Specific Phone Number

I am not able to call out to a specific phone number from the iPhone.
I am able to call this specific phone number from different sources. ie. Another cell phone, lan line, work, etc...
Any clues on why just a specific phone number cannot be made to?
When I try to call, I always get 2 beep sounds only and says the Call Ended.
I get no Dial tone when I call also.
ps.
It could be that somehow they blocked my cell phone number.
But, I do not believe so.

Specific phone number cannot be called nor call received

My wife's iPhone 3G cannot place nor receive a call from one specific telephone number; this number is the only one that we know that doesn't work. When she calls it, she hears three beeps, and the phone says call failed. If the number calls in, the phone sort of locks up for a little and shows the circular animation in the middle of the screen.
I saw where one other user experienced this, but that thread has been archived. Anyone else? Any solutions?

Try deleting the contact that was created for that number and calling it again.
You can also try resetting the iphone by holding the sleep and home button until you see the apple logo.

Answer FaceTime call on my mac?

I have just installed LION OS & hence facetime on my mac. While I can make calls from my mac no problem, when I make calls to my mac from my iphone, it rings for about 2 seconds then hangs up automatically. The phone reads that I am busy at this time. The reason I am trying this is because I am unable to connect with my dad, who has also just purchased a mac himself, so we can communicate from across the world!!
I have checked it with and without firewall. Software is up to date, It is definitely switched on and I have tried re-starting the computer, all to no avail.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just purchase my ipad2 2 days ago. yesterday, there was a sound. today there is no sound. there is a sound only in movies and you tube and music. but no sound on all apps and keyboards. I look it up and seems like ther are few that have this problem. I called walmart coz I bought it there and they told me that they have not heard that before but if I can't fix it, just return it and exchange it with anew one since I have 14 days to do that. How to record FaceTime calls on a Mac?

My wife is trying to record her FaceTime calls with a friend from across the country. I noticed that Messages has a record chat option under video but whenever I start a FaceTime call it become gray. Am I doing something wrong? How can we record her conversations?

Yes it did!
As you can see on my screenshot, there are checkboxes for both mic and mac audio.
Audio quality is great. By default, it saves the video with both sides of the conversation in one stereo channel. No edit needed. But if you plan to edit the audio later, it's capable of saving two stereo tracks. This way you can achieve great quality video podcasts by turning down the volume of the person which is not talking. If both sides uses microfone and disable noise reduction, you can have the full stream of both sides almost uninterrupted and you can fade from one track to the other on your video editing software.
About capturing the video: You can even record full screen. It works OK on MacbookPro non retina, 8G RAM, 2.7Ghz Core i7 in OSX Mavericks in 30fps, sometimes FaceTime drops the fps and I am not shure if it's the performance or networking problems. I like to record a 800x800 square in 10fps, tho. I believe FaceTime is smart to not stream the full quality video, and usually I get better results. With this setting I also can use iGlasses (another comercial software, works also works on Mavericks) to make fun effects or show videos and still have good performance. I record a square because when people turn the devices FaceTime turns the window too. This way it's never cropped.

Answer a FaceTime call on my mac

I can make a FaceTime call from my iMac (Lion) but I cannot answer a call on it.
I can make and answer FaceTime calls to and from my iPhone4 and my iPad.
Can someone point me to someplace where I can find an answer as to why FaceTime on my iMac will not answerr a call.

Thanks - I discovered the answer to my question.
If someone makes a FaceTime call to my phone number it only goes to my iPhone. If they make the call to my email address it goes to all of my devices so I can answer it from wherever I am that has a WiFi network that I can attach to.
I'm learning - slowly but surely.

Iphone calls to a specific phone number at a specified time.

1) It is possible to enter an event in my Iphone Calendar
2) The iphone then calls to a specified phone number from me.
So I can be at home reminds the dates.
While I can be seen on the fixed line as the date is, but I know the number of the iPhone and then know that I have an appointment.

after following all the advice. wiping my phone, waiting 24 hours, etc. imessage and facetime are still running off of my email. Iphone will not let me choose my phone number as an option and just says activation failed..

Why can't I deny a call from a blocked phone number???

I got a few calls blocked numbers and they are always a different person. I want to deny them but I can't the phone you can usually pull up wasn't there. Please help I don't know if something is wrong with my phone.

Call blocking didn't become a feature for iPhone until iOS 7. Your post says you have iOS 6.1.3 and call blocking is not possible with that
