Automatically Accept Incoming Contact

By default, when IC receives an incoming contact (call, email, etc) from a CMS such as Genesys, Avaya, etc., the Accept button in the toolbar will blink and the agent will have to click that button to initiate the interaction.
In Maximizing Your SAP CRM Interaction Center, however, it states on page 56 that the system can be configured to either automatically accept the incoming telephone call, or to prompt the agent with blinking accept and reject buttons.
I'm trying to figure out where within SAP this option can be configured.  Normally I would be able to configure such a capability within the CMS, but there is a switch limitation that prevents it in this case, so configuring SAP to automatically accept the interaction is the only option we have.
Can anyone point me to the right location to configure this?

I do not use Genesys but found several places where the subject has already been mentioned, maybe they can inspire you:
- Auto answer call SAP CRM with Genesys (G+) : http://scn.sap.com/thread/3182272
- Genesys forum / auto answer call : https://forums.genesyslab.com/showthread.php?t=5988
Hope it helps,
Eli

  • I keep receiving a message, everytime I open iTunes, asking me if I want to accept incoming network connections.

After trying to delete the .plist I realised my iTunes had become corrupted and needed to be reinstalled. This may not be a fix for everyone, but here is how I uninstalled and reinstalled. iTunes comes preinstalled as part of OS X, and is considered “required” software by the operating system. If you therefore try to simply drag the iTunes application file to the Trash, the system will stop you and present a warning message. The warning is a bit exaggerated, of course. iTunes isn’t required for the basic operation of OS X. To disregard OS X’s warning and uninstall iTunes, navigate to the Applications folder and find the iTunes app file (/Applications/iTunes.app). Right-click (or Control-click) on iTunes and select Get Info. Locate and click on the padlock icon on the bottom right side of the window and enter your admin password. This is necessary in order to make changes to the app’s permission settings. Next, expand the Sharing & Permissions section of the window if it’s not already visible and change the privileges for “everyone” to Read & Write. This will give us complete control of the iTunes application so that we can override the operating system’s warning and delete it. Close the Get Info window and try again to drag the iTunes application file to the Trash. This time, there’s no warning, and the file is immediately trashed. Empty the Trash to complete the process. If you wish to reinstall iTunes, just launch the Mac App Store’s Software Update section (or the old standalone Software Update if you’re running a version of OS X prior to Mountain Lion.) With iTunes absent from your hard drive, Software Update will automatically offer to install it for you again.

    Cheers again!
That seems to have done the trick!

    Jim

  • Automatically accept screen sharing from specific user ???

My mother is a newbie mac user. To be honest, she's a newbie computer user - full stop. She did inherit my PC laptop when I switched, but within a week she had crashed it. The mac she has is still running. (And guess who got it for her. I'm a good daughter.)
Anyway - her G4 Powermac is running Leopard like a dream. In fact it is much faster now than before. Still, she has a few issues. Like the other day, she couldn't get music through her speakers and I'm abroad at the time.
I asked her to accept a screen share, she did. I fixed the speaker issue and closed the screen share. She is happy as larry. But that got me thinking. Is it possible to automatically accept screen share from certain users? That would be a great help if that would be possible.
    Thanks in advance.

Musicsites, here is your answer. Just follow the instructions completely and it will work quite well. I have it running and it allows my iMac to automatically answer incoming Screen Sharing requests ONLY from my MacBook.

  • Keeps asking to accept incoming network connections for iTunes

Why does OS X keep asking if I want the new iTunes to accept incoming network connections on every iTunes launch?
    1. It appears in the firewall, and is green lighted to accept incoming network connections.
    2. I have the checkbox to automatically allow signed software to accept connections.
    3. I have repaired permissions.
    4. I have re-downloaded and reinstalled the application.
    5. I am running the latest version of OS X with all updates installed.
    This should not be happening.

I constanstly get the exact same nag message about allowing incomming connections, plus now iTunes just pops up all by itself, and I simply do not ever let anyone inside my firewall, period, including Apple, so they can spy on my info or software. The snooping scanel of the last couple of days has only underlined my decisions.
I have denied them access in security/advanced.  I have turned off connect to apple for for song info. No Ping.
I do however run DLNA across my wifi network using BubbleUp client so I can access my iTunes library via TiVo throughout the house, and have for the last year with no issues.
(During this message, itunes has launched, nagged and started playing music all by itself 3 times!)
I tried a terminal command from another thread http://nerdramblings.tumblr.com/post/5637291886/fix-apple-firewall-asking-for-pe rmissions, which should have given me

I have version of itunes 11.0.2 running in Snow Lep 10.6.8. and I run my iMac via wifi rather then ethernet, and have for 3 years.  This is all new in the last 3 weeks.  I'm happy with the version I have, with no interest in uninstall/reinstall or screwing around with the newest versions, which I really hate.
I'm ok poking around in Terminal if that's the answer. otherwise, I'm off to WinAmp or DoubleTwist, though I'm open to other suggestions as well.
Please excuse my angry tone, but I've had nothing but problems with this machine since I bought it, it's been to the shop once and reformmatted from scratch twice, and regard it as the second worst decision of my life.  The worst one was my first marriage

  • "netbiosd" wants to accept incoming network connections...yes or no??

Turning on my MacAir this evening I find a warning message that netbiosd wants to accept incoming connections.
Doesn't netbiosd work with my router?   I'm leery because I received email yesterday with known infection.  I did not open it because of text from friends telling not to open email from them because they (non-MAC users) had been infected and whatever it was accessed their contacts and spread the love.
My fan ran for over two hours last night as was odd because I had very little use of the computer yesterday and definately did not have anything hot open. Cosole activity was so sketchy last night that I marked it and copied and pasted notes as well.  This is just a small portion.

So what would you do?  yes or no to netbiosd accepting incoming connections. I've seen alot of unwanted traffic dropped on router gateway page for the last week.   AND NOW RIGHT BEFORE I POST THIS MY FAN IS KICKING BACK ON ONLY AFTER ABOUT 30 MINUTES.
    Thanks!

Actually running Mavricks 10.9.2 ~ my first note says 7.0.2

    Sorry for the delay...
I did what you've told me, new account and manually copied my files from Time Machine. I had lots of permissions problems, but at the end, almost everything is in order... It seems it had to be with some of the Apple Preferences, but I can't be sure, as most of them were dumped to the trash can.
I still don't have my Mail Rules back, unfortunately, although I did goggled some. It is a pity, as I had around 30 or 40 of them, getting my mail in order to each of its mailboxes, but it is a small price as the rest doesn't show the before syntoms.
    Thanks for the help, anyway!!

  • Is there a way I can copy an auto signature automatically into my contacts without having to type a new contact myself?

Is there a way I can copy an auto signature from an automatically into my contacts without having to type a new contact myself?

You don't buy an unlocked phone. You buy a Verizon iPhone at full retail. I just did this myself last month. I paid full retail for the phone and activated it on my plan. This allowed me to get a new phone before I was eligible to upgrade and keep my unlimited data. I also got a good deal on trading in my iPhone 5.
You can buy the phone through Verizon or through Apple. If you buy it through Apple, I'd suggest that you not have them activated but do that yourself by logging into your account on your computer.
    Best of luck.

Contacts are synced with a compatible programme in the computer; in the iCloud or with Yahoo and Google Mail. You can directly "edit" a contact on the phone and/or within the programme that you are syncing your contacts with.
Have you configured/setup mails on your iPhone? If yes, check the contents of the mail account(s) individually. (including iCloud)  from SETTINGS - MAILS, CONTACTS, CALENDARS
"Contacts" if chosen from the mail account (s) would add email addresses to your contacts.

  • How do i stop Calender invites from automatically accepting?

When i recieve a Calender invite it is automatically accepted?

My fault, this is only to sound the alarm if you get an invite. I don't get invitations, because I did not subscribe to any calendars. This seems to be the only way not to get some.
But there is a "respond" button right next to the Mounth view button, did you try this one?

  • Acceptance by contact person

    Hi,
We are using SRM 7 and using BRF workflow. We have a scenario, where if the PO is approved, it is not directly sent to vendor but will go to purchaser first, and purchaser then can approve it and it will go to vendor. I understand that we can use the acceptance by contact person.
As far as I understand the acceptance by contact person will ONLY be triggered if the workflow is coming to an end (either approved or rejected). So I set the event to for acceptance to be ALWAYS true, so whether it is approved or reject it will come to purchaser.
However after testing, I observe that the event for acceptance is triggered in EVERY level. So for example PO has 3 approvers, and first approver approve it. then the event for acceptance by contact person is triggered so  a work item will be sent to the creator. I have then tried to make an event so it will be triggered ONLY if it is last level approver and it is approved, BUT it is not working.
So my question, is it a bug? From documentation it seems certain that the acceptance SHOULD only working at the end of approval process, but it seems to be working at EVERY level of approver?
If it is designed to be working like I observe do you guys have any idea how to set up the proper event?
    John

    Hi Melina,
The problem is that we have to configure that it will need to go to creator IF the approval process is finished. As you might know the approval process is finished IF:
    1. The PO is rejected OR
    2. The PO is approved by last approver
No 1 is pretty easy as you can use expression 0V_WF_CURRENT_DECISI = 'REJECTED'.
But no 2 is more complex. If we're using 0V_WF_CURRENT_DECISI = 'APPROVED'. Then if we have 3 approvers, after first approver approve, the event is triggered, thus the work item going to creator. We dont want this as we only want to see the work item go to creator after approval process is finished.
We have experimented with these expressions in scenario where there are 3 approvers
    - 0V_WF_PDOSTATUS = 'FINI' --> we find out that after the approval process finished, it only get status 'ACTV' the same when first approver approve, thus we cannot differentiate.
    - 0B_WF_ISLASTLEVEL --> we find out that after second approver approve, this event kick in, thus not fulfilling our criteria
    - 0B_WF_SYSTEMAPPROVAL --> in all level it will trigger 0B_WF_SYSTEMAPPROVAL = 'TRUE'
So we're kind of stuck in here. Any idea?
    John

  • Every Time OS Asks If I Want To Let iTunes Accept Incoming Network Connection

    I believe since a recent upgrade ...
Every time I book my computer and launch iTunes I get a message asking if I want the app to accept incoming network connections.
I just hit Allow and the box goes away but this morning I figured I'd do what the box says and look at my System Preferences / Security & Privacy / Firewall settings.
And it seems that iTunes is set to allow.
    Any ideas?
I'm posting here in the Mavericks forum as I get the feeling this is an OS issue not iTunes but if people think I should post elsewhere please let me know.
    I'm running iTunes 12.1.0.50 and OS X 10.9.5 on an i3 iMac
    Thanks

    Hi Eric,
If you are still listening ...
I've been travelling and under the weather so am only just now getting back to this little issue.
When I go to my home / Library / preferences I see a bunch of files but not the com.apple.systempreferences.plist you suggested.  (I had to do two screen shots as the list was bigger than my screen).
And when I do a search in finder for the file the only thing that shows up is the email from this forum telling me of your reply.
Could the file be called something else or hiding somewhere else?
No big deal to click "Allow" every morning but ...
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks again.

recently my bluetooth will not accept incoming files from my lg viewty and says connection is not possible but it will work with my friends macbook, it allows files to be sent from my macbook to my viewty though.
    any ideas whats wrong?

I'm having the same problem. Bluetooth says that everything is fine when I look at the advanced settings except that my phone is not connected. I am able to send files to my phone, but not vice versa. I can browse the folders on my phone, but they are all empty. I have tried shutting both off and restarting and resetting the device connection. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I also think I should mention the fact that the phone did in fact used to work with my macbook before the Leopard update, so I'm almost positive it isn't the phone.

  • What is the fix for some applications repeatedly asking permission to accept incoming connections?

What is the fix for some applications repeatedly asking permission to accept incoming connections?
On every restart, AutoPairs and Epson Event Manager asks me to reject or agree to allow incoming connections. It is very aggravating and time-wasting. I know other Mac users who have the identical problem with other applications on their Macs.
Isn't there some way to make my Mac understand that "Yes" means "Yes" once and for all?
I am presently running Yosemite, but this was a problem with prior OS X versions too.
    Respectfully,
    Nate

This is a comment on why you might, or might not, want to use the built-in Application Firewall.
The firewall blocks incoming network traffic, regardless of origin, on a per-application basis. By default it's off, and when turned on, it allows applications digitally signed by Apple, and only those applications, to listen on the network. It does not block outgoing traffic, nor can it distinguish between different sources of incoming traffic, nor does it filter traffic by content.
No matter how it's configured, the firewall is not, as some imagine, a malware filter. If that's what you expect it to do, forget it. All it will do is bombard you with pointless alerts.
Consider some scenarios in which you may expect the firewall to be useful.
    1. You enable file sharing, and you allow guest access to certain folders. That means you want people on your local network, but not outsiders, to be able to access those shared folders without having to enter a password. In the default configuration, the firewall will allow that to happen. The router prevents outsiders from accessing the shares, whether the application firewall is on or off. But if your computer is portable and you connect it to an untrusted network such as a public hotspot, the firewall will still allow access to anyone, which is not what you want. It does not protect you in this scenario.
    2. You unknowingly install a trojan that steals your data and uploads it to a remote server. The firewall, no matter how it's configured, will not block that outgoing traffic. It does nothing to protect you from that threat.
    3. A more likely scenario: The web browser or the router is compromised by an attacker. The attack redirects all web traffic to a bogus server. The firewall does not protect you from this threat.
    4. You're running a public web server. Your router forwards TCP connection requests on port 80 to your Mac, and the connections are accepted by the built-in web server, which is codesigned by Apple. The application firewall, still configured as above, allows this to happen. An attacker hacks into the system and tries to hijack port 80 and replace the built-in web server with one that he controls. The good news here is that the firewall does protect you; it blocks incoming connections to the malicious server and alerts you. But the bad news is that you've been rooted. The attacker who can do all this can just as easily turn off the firewall, in which case it doesn't protect you after all.
    5. You're running a Minecraft server on the local network. It listens on a high-numbered port. You, as administrator, have reconfigured the firewall to pass this traffic. An attacker is able to log in to a standard account on the server. He figures out how to crash Minecraft, or he just waits for you to quit it, and then he binds his own, malicious, Minecraft server to the same port. The firewall blocks his server, and because he's not an administrator, he can't do anything about it. In this scenario, the security is genuine.
    6. Here is a more realistic scenario in which you might have reason to enable the firewall. Your MacBook has sharing services enabled. You want those services to be available to others on a home or office network. When you're on those networks, the firewall should be off. When you move to an untrusted network, you can either turn off all the services, or enable the firewall with a non-default configuration to block them. Blocking is easier: one click instead of several.
