Automatically Add Space when Replying

Hi there,
Is it possible to have Mail to automatically add two line breaks to the start of the message by default, thus having to add the space manually?
Thanks.

You used to be able to. I created a Signature which was a couple of blank lines that I had set to be automatically inserted when ever I replied to a message. For some reason, you can no longer do that.
However, if you have a regular signature that actually has some text in it that you use for all of your emails, you can put spaces in the signature.
You just can't add blank lines like I want to without adding some sort of text.

  • How do I add space when repling to an email so it's not so cramped?

    I just updated to the latest version of Thunderbird and now when I reply to an email, there is not enough space between my response and the former message. How do I add more space so I can see what I am typing more clearly? Right now it is cramped.
    Thank you

    I understand I can do it manually, but the old program automatically had space when replying so I'm looking to reconfigure the composition to accommodate this preference.
    Thank you.

  • Automatically add asset

    hi guys!
    i have a simple ques,
    Can the SAP automatically add asset when GRN is done in standard config? If can then how to do that?
    Thanks for your kindness.
    crimson.

    Hi,
    Option-1:
    Create PO with Account Assignment Category"U" and during GRN , you can change to "A" which  will post to Asset.
    Option-2:
    In FI Side you can post directly with T.Code: F-90.
    If helpful then reward.

  • (Bold 9900 - BBOS 7.1) Is there a way to automatically add reminder alert when flagging a message for follow-up?

    I love the feature in Outlook that lets me flag a message for follow-up and automatically adds a default reminder at the end of the day. Is this something I can configure my Blackberry 9900 to do (running 7.1)?
    As far as I can tell, when I flag something for follow-up, it adds a flag but does NOT add any reminder alerts. If I want to do that, I then need to manually add the reminder and set it (which is a little cumbersome).

    I guess timed message is on the wish list
    However in all my forms I use following scenario to validate all data entry at one time and then submit...
    I use regular button and add code in Click event
    JS example.....
    var errorFlag = 0;
    var errorMsg = "";
    if (validation expression 1) {
         //true/pass
         //no need to change following values
         errorFlag = errorFlag;
         errorMsg = errorMsg;
    }else {
        //false/fail
       //set the flag and message accordingly
        errorFlag = errorFlag + 1;
        errorMsg = errorMsg + "validation message1" + "\n"; //\n for new line with in the message
    if (validation expression 2) {
         //true/pass
         //no need to change following values
         errorFlag = errorFlag;
         errorMsg = errorMsg;
    }else {
        //false/fail
       //set the flag and message accordingly
        errorFlag = errorFlag + 1;
        errorMsg = errorMsg + "validation message2" + "\n"; //\n for new line with in the message
    //finally
    if (errorFlag > 0) {
        //>0 indicates there are one or more errors
        xfa.host.message(""+errorMsg);//display all messages at one time
        exit; //now since there are validation errors you can stop processing further and exit the event
    //add submit code......here....

  • Automatically add role of Contact Person when BP is created as employee

    We have done the configuration and setup to transfer OM data from ERP (ECC 6.0)  to CRM 7.0. Before we execute the ALE job, we have one item we would like to add to the process.
    We are a County Government implementing CRM Incident Management. Users will need to assign and forward Incidents to defined Contact Persons in various Org Units. It would require significant manual effort to edit BP records for each employee to maintain the Contact Person role.
    Is there a way to automatically add the Contact Person role to each Employee BP at the time that the BP is created during the transfer of OM data? In other words, when IDocs are posted using RBDAPP01 in CRM, can the BP be created with the General role, the Employee role AND the Contact Person role at that time?
    I have not found a BP configuration which implements this. I also did not find a switch in T77S0 which would cause this to occur.
    I have searched this forum and the the CRM General Questions forum for this issue. I have found a few threads which posed the question but none which provided an answer for CRM 7.0. Please let me know if I have overlooked a previously posted answer.
    Thank you for your help and advice.

    Hi Robert.
    Thank you for the suggestion. However, this isn't related to creating the Contact Person role when creating a contact relationship directly in CRM. What we need is the automatic creation of the Contact Person role at the same time that the Employee BP is created via the ALE transfer of OM data from ECC to CRM.

  • How to make iTunes automatically add music to my library when its downloaded from the web?

    Before OS Yosemite, when I downloaded music off the web it would automatically be added to my iTunes library.  Now they just ends up in my downloads folder but once I click on them, they start playing in my iTunes.

    Hi Darg,
    I don't have Safari installed here to look at, but I'd imagine it has a similar way to open certain kinds of downloaded files in specified applications.
    In any case, the second method -- directing the download to your Automatically Add to iTunes folder -- is simple to do in any browser.
    Let me know how it works out!

  • How do I avoid duplicates when using "Automatically Add to iTunes"

    I recently consolidated all my music and then created a new library in iTunes. Now I'm using the "Automatically Add to iTunes" folder when I find more music from my archives.
    However, unlike when importing from a CD, iTunes doesn't seem to compare to existing library and detect duplicates in songs in this folder; it just adds them to iTunes. So I am ending up with dups. Is there any way to avoid this?

  • Mail adds auto Cc when replying

    Been using Mountain Lion for about 3 weeks now and I don`t know why but 8 out of 10 times I reply to an e-mail sent to me, Mail automatically adds mee in the Cc field.
    I've checked in the Mail preferences that the Cc check box is unchecked and it is, so I don't understand why is this happennong.
    It's very frustrating having to review the mail you are about to send just to see if I'm Cc'ed or not.
    Some times it does it and some times not.-
    Any ideas in how to solve this would be very appreciated.
    Thanks.

    This has been happening to me for the past several months and just now found the reason. This may not be a solution for everyone.
    I use Google Apps for email with the lastest version of Mac Mail. I was being copied on 90% of outgoing messages.
    In Gmail, there is an "Filter" option. I had a list of keywords set to "Never go to Spam". As a result, whenever I would write/reply to a message in Mac Mail, and it included these keywords anywhere in the message, it would then copy me on the message. I have no idea why it does this, but it does.
    Solution: I removed these keywords from the filter in Gmail. I no longer am copied on outgoing messages.

  • How do I automatically add objects to a profile when I add a Z tcode?

    Hi,
    I've noticed that when I add some SAP standard tcodes to a role menu it automatically adds certain objects in the profile.  How do I make this happen for my own Z tcodes?
    I have created a tcode ZSTMT for one of my programs.  In the program I'm checking object F_BKPF_BUK so I'd like PFCG to automatically add this object to a profile when I add the tcode to the menu structure.  How do I do this?

  • Automatically add MK- role when creating a related person for a student

    Hello,
    When creating a related person for a student there are 3 roles added to the BP:
    -000000     BP (General)
    -FS0000     Financial Services BP
    -PSCI10     Related Person
    Can anyone help me further on how to automatically add the MKK role when creating a related person?
    Thanks for your help,
    Lukas Molenaar

    Hi Michael,
    Thanks for answering it really helped me out. But Iu2019m not quite there yet.
    I have the Role Grouping Category and Role Group with the 2 roles (PSCI10 and MKK).
    My suspicion is that somewhere else in the IMG lays the problem. Because when you check settings for students as business partners in the IMG Path: Campus Management -> Campus Management Master Data -> Students -> Students as Business Partners -> Check Settings for Students as Business Partners.
    Line nr 7 says: u201CThe definition of BP role for related person PSCI10 is correctu201D. From that I conclude (hope that is correct) that when you make a related person the BP is only created with BP role u201CPSCI10u201D.
    This is because when I deliberately make that check fail (so I have the help for that line) it says:
    u201CIn IMG activity Define BP Roles, you define a BP role for related person, assign this BP role to BP role category PSCI10, mark this BP as the standard assignment of BP role category PSCI10, and assign this BP role to BP view PSCI10.
    That tells me it is only linked that the BP role u201CPSCI10u201D.
    Can you please help me further with my problem?
    Thanks,

    Is there a way to stop Thunderbird from automatically populating the To: field when replying to an email?.
    Also is there a way to get Thunderbird to request confirmation of addresses emails are to be sent to?

    'Reply' is supposed to do exactly that. Use 'Forward' instead.

  • How can I bypass Automatically Add to iTunes?

    I have a large CD collection (>3000) that I've ripped to iTunes in ALAC format; I only listen to CD or better quality music, so I don't have any mp3 or AAC files in my iTunes library. I keep my music on an external hard drive. I recently bought a larger external hard drive and moved all of my music to that drive. For some reason, iTunes chose to put all of my music in a folder called "Automatically Add to iTunes". This was fine, except that I could no longer see the contents of the hard drive; however, I did know that the files were there, becasue of the disc space that they consumed.
    Today, I ripped two new CDs to the hard drive through iTunes and I noticed that iTunes placed the music folders for those CDs outside of the "Automatically Add to iTunes". I decded to drag the new folders into the "Automatically Add to iTunes" folder. When I did so, all of the previous music disappeared and I cannot recover it. Fortunately, I have a copy of Sentuni, so I'll be able to put the music back on the hard drive from my iPods, but this process will require several hours. In addition, ripping my CD collection to iTunes required a lot of time, so I'm not pleased with the "Automatically Add to iTunes" folder feature. Is there a way to disable this feature, so that I can simply put my music on my external drive and be able to see that the folders are there.
    I've been a devoted Apple customer for almost a decade, so I won't get too upset over this issue, but I wish that your developers would have addressed this issue during the development stage. Thanks for your attention to this problem.
    Best,
    Heath

    If only this were the case. I tried to move several albums into the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder, which resulted in thousands of albums being erased from the folder. One should be able to drag a music folder into the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder without iTunes erasing the original contents of the folder.
    It didn't erase anything.
    It automatically added them to iTUnes and moved them to the correct folder (Movies, Music, etc.) in the location shown in iTunes prefs > Advanced - iTunes media folder location.
    I would like to disable the "Automatically add to iTunes" feature in iTunes,
    You "disable" it by not putting anything into it. If you don't want to use it, don't use it.
    If you want to manually manage, do not put anything into this folder.
    Go to iTunes prefs > Advanced and uncheck Copy files to iTunes media folder when adding to library.
    Then File > Add to library adn select what you want to add to iTunes. Do NOT put anything into the Automatically add to iTunes folder
    and would like to be able to see the albums and artists on my external hard drive without having to do Spotlight searches
    You wouldn't have to do Spotlight searches anyway.
    The files are in /Music/Artist/Album folderin the location shown in iTunes prefs > Advanced - iTunes media folder location.
    Also, in iTunes, you can select a song, right click - Show in Finder.
