Automatically connects to sync and will start playing music all the time even when not using sync
My iPhone 4S will automatically start playing music as soon as I start my vehicle with sync.you can't hear it but on the screen it shows its playing even when listening to the radio
Try resetting it if you can: hold the on/off and home buttons until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release. If you can't, try to connect it to iTunes, go to the Summary tab of your sync settings and click Restore to restore it. If that doesn't work you'll have to force it into recovery mode to restore it as outlined here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1808.
You can check in iTune to see if you have a backup. They are listed in iTunes>Preferences>Devices. However, the backup may not bring your contacts back as contacts are only backed up as necessary to preserve the recent call and call favorites lists.

I attempted to update my iphone 3 using itunes. I'm not certain but I believe I did a backup on my pc first. I am now unable to use the phone at all - the slide bar won't move and I have a camera icon next to the slide bar which is not responsive. I have tried to sync and even left the phone connected to the pc overnight. The phone is going flat within a couple of hours and won't stop beeping every few seconds and seems to be syncing all the time, even when disconnected from pc. I can't download the latest update and my phone loses WIFI all the time. when I try to connect and put in my password, it just keep searching and searching.

Like what I mentioned, the iPod do not work, it won't play music and the battery light do not flash.
But it shows in iTunes, and I could sync music into it.
I tried to reset all the settings of the iPod, and installed all the new software, but it does not work.
I don't know if it works before, my friend left it to me. I erased all the data she used before and syncronized all my music inside.
But it just never worked in my hand...

There are separate contact points for power and data, so it is possible for the cable to connect for data, but not for power. Some third-party replacement cables may be of lower quality, if you do not have the original cable
However, it seems to be getting power, since the shuffle is operating when connected and you are able to sync when it is connected. So I think your USB docking cable is working.
That leaves a problem with the USB port or a problem on the shuffle.
For the USB port, it may not be supplying sufficient power to charge the battery. As a test, you should shut down (power off) the computer and disconnect all USB devices, including hub, except for standard keyboard and mouse (if normally used). If the Mac is a laptop, connect its power adapter (so that it's not running on battery power). Do this to reset the shuffle

Start up the Mac, run iTunes, and connect the shuffle to a direct USB port on the Mac. Any difference...?
If that does not help, it may be a problem with the shuffle, such as a worn out battery. -
I've been trying to edit and export timelapses I've shot in July. It's been an uphill battle since then.
First Lr gave me mountains of issues (seems to be doing ok now) and now Ppro and AMe is doing the same. Since I've downloaded the update last week they have both just stopped working. AME doesn't even want to start up anymore. Ppro starts ok but won't export anything anymore. The is one older project that I've finished before the update. That exports fine. But any new project I've created since refuses. I'm dropping the images into a 4k sequence, the dropping the 4k sequence into a 1080 sequence so I can ad some movement. Bet even if I take the images directly to the 1080 sequence it crashes the moment I hit export.
The timeline on this project is KILLING me! It's not supposed to take this long.

WRT54GX2 slow connection all the time, even when right next to it.
My connections are always dropping since I bought the router. Even when I am close to the router the connection is still slow. I keep my PC optimized always so I have ruled out the laptop. Are there any setting changes that I might try? I use my wireless connection only for my laptop.

Thanks in Advance!I used to recommend that "SSID Broadcast" be disabled for security reasons. But newer cracking methods have made this old trick practically worthless. So set "SSID Broadcast" to "enabled". This will help your computer find and lock on to your router's signal. You security comes from using WPA/WPA2 and a strong password.
Windows XP requires a patch to properly run WPA2. Go to Microsoft Knowledge base, article ID=893357 and it will direct you to the patch.
Sadly, the patch is not part of the automatic Windows XP updates, so lots of people are missing the patch.
Poor wireless connections are often caused by radio interference from other 2.4 GHz devices. This includes wireless phones, wireless baby monitors, microwave ovens, wireless mice and keyboards, wireless speakers, and your neighbor's wireless network. In rare cases, Bluetooth devices can interfere. Even some 5+ GHz phones also use the 2.4 Ghz band. Unplug these devices, and see if that corrects your problem.
In your router, try a different channel. There are 11 channels in the 2.4 GHz band. Usually channel 1, 6, or 11 works best. Check out your neighbors, and see what channel they are using. Because the channels overlap one another, try to stay at least +5 or -5 channels from your strongest neighbors. For example, if you have a strong neighbor on channel 9, try any channel 1 through 4.
Also, try to locate the router about 4 to 6 feet above the floor, in an open area. Do not locate it behind your monitor or near other computer equipment or speakers. The antenna should be vertical.
If the above does not correct your problem, download and install the latest driver for your wireless card.
If you are still having trouble, download and install (or re-install) the latest firmware for your router.

IPad plays music in the background even when off. I cannot stop it.
My iPad plays music from somewhere that I cannot turn off. Music is not coming from Sirius, Pandora, ITunes or iMusic, is very low and does not react to changing the volume. If I tune off the iPad it is still there.

When im on my apple tv my computer will either start playing music, or the voume will go up and down. Its not on airplay, so i dont know whats wrong... please answer ASAP. Thank you so much!
The computer is picking up the signal from the remote. Go into system preferences - security - general. Click the padlock and go into advanced. Check disable remote control infrared receiver.

My Classic IPod had been working perfectly with Windows Vista OS and on a dock. I left it unattended for 10 days, recharged it and tried to play music on the dock. All that shows on the screen is the Apple Logo and I am unable to restart or update the IPod. Any ideas???

Possible malware infection
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

just installed IOS 7.0.2 (11A501) on Iphone now the sound when I play music is too low even when I crank it as loud as it will go. I used to be able to hear it when I mowed the lawn. not anymore. any suggestions?

Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
It will not erase any of your personal data, just reset the settings.

If the problem doesn't occur on a new account it most likely means you have a process running on your other account that uses up a lot of CPU, making your computer temperature go up and the fan spin harder in turn.
Go back to your usual account and have a look in Activity Monitor to see if you have a process running that fits the description. -
PIAFUSER and PIAPPLUSER get locked all the time - where are they used?!

well i am no basis guy but i have to do the following.
We want to use one SLD for PROD & DEV. We chose DEV SLD to be the one!
Therefore i followed Note 720717 in detailed way.
Because there is mentioned i have to change sth. in Service SLD Data Supplier i did so in PROD for giving the SLD-Adress of DEV. This was looking good, i changed, saved and restarted service.
But now the User PIAFUSER and PIAPPLUSER get locked all the time - even without trying to get SLD-Connection.
When i do SLDCHECK we also get error:
Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS
Retrieving data from the SLD server.
Function call returned exception code ....4
=> Check whether the SLD is running!
..and it is running!
Could someone help?! We already read post and blogs the last 4 hours but nothing helped that far!

well i already re-checked all pwds again like given in Note 936093.
Everything runs fine that far but again, the PIAFUSER gets locked, PIAPPLUSER doesn't get locked anymore - finally.
The reason why i was coming to this error is because we need to use one SLD - i described already.
So now we wanted to check our PROD Scenarios, running a test with a FILE-CC and got following error in CC-Monitoring:
ERROR:com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.ConfigException: SLDAccess set to true, but not available.
What could cause this error else than some stuff with pwds?!
Any ideas?! i work 10 hours on this crap now
