Automating "Available hierarchies from OLTP"

Hi Gurus !!!
I would like to automate the importing of hierarchies from R/3 via ABAP !!! Is it possible? More clearly: I want to do da same of button "Available hierarchies from OLTP" do when we click on it within the InfoPackage !!
Who will save my skin?!?! :-D !!

Hi All,
I can't solve this problem: I am loading hierarchies from R/3 to BW via infopackage. I created the solution to use one infopackage to load more than 300 hierarchies. But before I can do that I have to open an Infopackege, press the button "Refresh available hierarchies from oltp" and then mark relevant hierarchies for BW. 
Is it possible to do this in abap via function module / BAPI or somehow else? I'd like to implement the whole solution in process chain but I need to solve this before.

Available hierarchies from OLTP

hi,
i've used button "Available hierarchies from OLTP" in InfoPackage to load some hierarchies into the SAP BI. But the some of hierarchies i cannot find in this list.
How could i load full list of all hierarchies that is created in R3 system, cause only some of them are there now?

Extraction of all available hierarchies from KDH3 in R/3 system

Hi,
As part of the cost center reporting, user wants to utilize the account group hierarchy which is available in R/3 using KDH3 transaction code.
It would be appreciated if you could provide some helpful information of how to pull the account group hierarchies into BW system.

You gave me good idea of what I am supposed to do.
When I ran the ST05 on KDH3 and found that it is using class 0109 so I am assuming that I need to use the data source 0ACCOUNT_0109_HIER to pull the data into BW??

Infopackage hierarchy selection from OLTP is not saved when transported

I have created an infopackage in Development that is pulling an available hierarchy. I then transported Infopackage to QA, but the Hierarchy, although is available from OLTP, is not selected in InfoPackage. I created a copy of InfoPackage in the QA system and selected available hierarchy. It allows me to select hierarchy, save and execute. The issue I have is I need to transport the InfoPackage, created in DEV to all QA and Production systems. The InfoPackage is not retaining available hierarchy when being transported.

Usually infopackage will not be transported but created in QA and production systems. If the infopackage is transported to QA, the pushbutton in infopackage Hierarchies in OLTP will bring the hiearachies available in the QA R/3 system. Appropiate hierachy can be selected and the same infopackage can be saved.

Error when importing CO Hierarchies from R/3 DEV to R/3 QAS

Dear SDN,
I am getting the following error when importing Cost center and cost element hierarchies from R/3 DEV to R/3 QAS...
Object OSOA 0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER has not yet been imported successfully
Object OSOA 0COSTELMNT_0102_HIER has not yet been imported successfully
Ended with Return code ===8...
But The two hierarchies were available in R/3 QAS and also i am able to utilise..
My doubt is if i transport these hierarchies from R/3 QAS to R/3 Production any major issues...
Now i want to test a data in BW DEV from R/3 Production data...
So, I am planning to transport These hierarchies from R/3 QAS to R/3 PROD...
Here we do not have BW QAS...So, getting data from R/3Production to BW DEV and testing...
After testing Directly use in BW Production...
So, Please suggest me why when importing these hierarchies errors occuring???
Help will be greatly appreciated with points...

Automated data load from APO to SEM transactional cube

Hi ,
We have BW-SEM system integrated with APO system.
I could see automated data loads from APO to SEM transactional cube ..
Infopackage name as "Request loaded using the APO interface without monitor log" ..
I don't see any infopackage by this name in both the systems ( APO & SEM )..
I am not sure how it configured ..
Appreciate any inputs on how its happens .....

Hi,
As I mentioned the starting point will be the tcode BPS0. There will be 2 planning areas created (if I am correct) one for SEM cube and the other for APO cube. The better way to find it will be goto tcode se16 and enter UPC_BW_AREA and key in the cube names in the cube field. this will give you the planning area names now look for a multiplanning area which has the 2 areas included in them (this is available in table UPC_AREAM).
then goto BPS0 and you will have to find which function is being used to post the data.

how to remove available downloads from the list without it resuming when i open itunes or check for available downloads?

There is not a way to remove them from the list. Just let them download, and then delete them from your library when they are done.

HT1725 When I click on a Movie I get the following "You have already purchased this item but it has not been downloaded. To download it, select Check For Available Downloads from the Store menu." Then get err = 11111

iTunes quit unexpectedly during the download of a movie. When I click on that movie now I get the following message: "You have already purchased this item but it has not been downloaded. To download it, select Check For Available Downloads from the Store menu."
I follow the instructions, but the download still doesn't resume - err = 11111

Yeah, I am going to blast my iPhone for the 4th time today and pray this goes away. I had 6 apps showing updates, the 6 badge icon shows on the App Store on my iPhone and, having run them all, the 6 apps have two copies each on my iPhone: one that is the old version of the app and will not run and the other is a faded version of the app with an empty progress bar on the icon. Click those and you get an error message about connecting to iTunes, etc. as described in the article I linked to above.
It gets stranger than this. If I install a completely NEW app, the 6 that are stuck mid-update heal themselves and appear with the new version only, however now completely different apps (Hold Em for instance - which I did not update and didn't need an update) will not launch "app name Cannot Launch" message comes up.

running infopackage X ,it is throwing a error

In status tab it shows traingular yellow colour
and diagnosis says that No idocs could be sent to bi using rfc.

or if your lowest level is the same like
Day->month->year->Total
Day->businessMonth->businessyear->Total
Then yes, it is.
Create the first, then you start to create the second by adding your top(business year) level on the same level as the one you have (year) both under your total.
Then when you would add your second base level, there is a special option for it, something like use other hierarchy level/shared level (sorry can't recall and does not have a connection right now) then you select your existing day level under your businessmonth level.

How can you change data on a SQL 2012 application database that uses availability groups from BizTalk server?

If you use the WCF-SQL adapter it is recommend that you set UseAmbientTransaction to true if you are changing data. I think this requires MSDTC to be enabled on the SQL server that you are changing the data on. (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd787981.aspx)
I think that Availability groups does not support MSDTC. (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms366279.aspx).
