Automating sheet creation and naming
Hi!
I have a list of students in Numbers. I would like to automate
-creating a new sheet (not file) for each student
-naming the sheet with the student's name
-inserting the student's name in cell on the sheet.
Is it possible to do this without manually copying and pasting?

1. If you report is based on query, you can separate report for each sales rep.
2. There is no automatic option to separate and email crystal report in standard SAP b1.
3. You may try to post such requirement at SDK forum to get some idea.
My suggestions is, create separate query for each sales rep and schedule and email to this report by using standard b1 functionality.
You can also group each report in to one report to present for your management.

Service Entry sheet creation - Using a diffent contract diff from line item
Hi,
Here is the scenario...
I have a services purchase order referring to contract and its service item with services ( service masters) attached to it.
And the PO item is a limit item with some limits maintained on the limits tab, but contract reference is specified at the limits level it is only at the line item level.
System version : ECC 6.0
Lets say PO number : 123456789
Lets say contract number and item is : 2323232323 item 10 ( Account assignment U )
My supplier is : 111111111
Now I am creating the Service Entry sheet and I am trying to add the services ( services selection button) I get a pop up to search for services by certain selection criteria and one of them is purch document ( remember it doesn't pre-populate and grey out the purch doc field with that the contract number from the item level) and now I can select any service contract that belongs to any supplier and select the services from it and complete my SES.
So lets say the contract from which I chose the service is : 3232323232
And the supplier on the contract is 2222222222
Is this a valid scenario or not?
Has any body ran into this situation before?

the External Services Management distinguishes between planned and unplanned services.
In case you have ONLY limits, no planned services in the PO item, it does not matter if you have entered a contract number into the PO item - in this case this contract will be not a real reference for your services.
If you have entered limit values only as overalllimit and expected value and you did not enter a contract limit on the contract limit tab, then you will not have a special contract reference on unplanned level neither.
In this case it is NOT an error when you start the entry sheet creation and you can select services from other contracts or purchase orders against your limit values in the PO into the entry sheet. The system does NOT check for a different vendor when you select services from other documents than the contract which you have specified in your PO item, because it is NOT a real reference - nor on services level as you have only limits in your PO item, nor on limit level since you have NOT entered a contract limit into your PO item.
In order to understand this process please study the unplanned scenario and contract reference scenarios.

Supress Mandatory field for Service Entry Sheet Creation
Hi,
I am using BDC for Service Entry Sheet creation as BAPI cannot fulfill the Business needs.
During Recording when I click on Service Overview and click on Service Selection we provide the Model Service Specification Number there I can see the Services and select it, but when I select the service and adopt, an error message ocuured to enter the quantity.
Is there any way to supress the standard error message without using acess Key.

Messages type 'E' , 'I' or 'W' are controlled through configurations. Please check with your functional consultant with the message number you want to supress. It can be made as 'I' or 'W' through configuration.
Similarly if you do not want that particular field as mandatory field ask functional consultant to make it optional.

Currently re-designing our publishing workflow from custom legacy FrameMaker system to InDesign.
Trying to work out best method of handling automated glossary creation. Currently using mark-up tags in Frame to create a numerical tag for reference to a Glossary term which can then be searched within Frame through a script and each term selected in a book/document to be defined. These terms are defined within a database and then can be searched within the data-base with reference to a specific document while also keeping the data-base current with all such defined terms.
Any similar type of tagging available in InDesign where a custom tag can be created with a numerical reference (or something similar)?
Have a load of other questions and would appreciate an Adobe publishing workflow consultant contact if such is available.

JasonHere is a (horrible!) Javascript to add a tag to any selected text and automatically prompt for an attribute value. You need to add a basic XML framework around your text first, else it will Not Run. (Select a text frame, call up the Tags panel, and then select "Autotag" from the dropdown menu for a basic structure.)
In this script you might want to adjust the name of the XML tag (the first "tag" in the double 'add' line) and the attribute name ("id" in the second part of the 'add' line).
In this form, the script does not allow you to re-define a previously tagged item (use the Structure panel for that) or to remove a tag (use Untag in the Tags panel). Running it twice on a selected text will add a new nested tag! (But as always, anything is possible with a longer/smarter/less horrible script.)

I am using u201CBAPI_ENTRYSHEET_CREATEu201D bapi for creation of entry sheet number. If I am giving field ACCEPTANCE in ENTRYSHEETHEADER details tab. I am getting error like u201C error in updatingu201D. Any one is worked on this before?.

I would like to know the what are the fields to be filled in creation of entry sheet through BAPI_ENTRYSHEET_CREATE function module tables to create an entry sheet.And its functionality of each field what exactly it denotes.How package number is external can be given, why that externally given package number is not stored in any of SAP database tables and,in that case how we know that Externally entered package number can be referred in what way in the point of iew of exteranl user?

File-to-file or File-to-RFC for Automatic PO creation and GR creation
Hi,
We are on XI 3.0 and the following has been put to me:
We will receive a .CSV file from FTP server, into XI and then need to create Purchase Orders followed by the Goods Receipt documents in R/3 based on the incoming data.
Further to this, the requirement is to give a log of the successfule and failed PO + GR document summary to the business.
The programme in R/3 will compare the incoming file nmame with archived files already processed and will reject any files with duplicate names.
I was suggesting to go with the file to RFC in R/3 whereby we can have a Z shell BAPI to include the standard BAPI for PO creation and GR creation. This Z code can then be extended to email the log to the business of which records were successfully created and which failed.
However, I am stumped as to how can I make the file duplication comparison on R/3 as the incoming file will also be stored on R/3 archive somewhere.
Can this be made when the BAPI is called in XI?
I can configure alerts when the BAPI is mapped from incoming file for that interface.
What was suggested also was to pick up the CSV file and thow it as it is in R/3 and then the Z code can go through it and create the PO and GR objects. However, then it does not make much sense to use XI as the middleware platform.
Please advice.

Using Windows 8 x64 Enterprise, Sysprep pauses to ask me to create a local user, which I don't want.
If I enable SkipSystemOOBE and SkipUserOOBE in OOBE under Microsoft-Windows-Shell-Setup sysprep (in oobe mode) will skip user creation and autologon works. But it only works correctly once. If I run sysprep again, when it tries to autologon
it will say that I have the wrong password for the local account. After I type in the password manually it works. If I use the same password for the local administrator account as for the autologon account, it looks to have the encrypted password
twice with an equal sign after it.
What I need to know:
How to skip local user account creation (we run on a domain but I have it connect through scripts later)
How to fix the autologon issue
Do I need the local administrator account enabled for this to work?

Immediate TO creation and confirmation during MB1B

In one of our client scenario , we need to create a immediate TO creation and confirmation with respect to PCN created during stock transfer from one storage location to another storage location with in a same plant .
I have done the neccesay setting in Tcode OMLR , but the system is not been able to create the immidiate TO perhaps system doesn't know from which storage type it sohuld select the material.
Can anybody hleps me how to configure this . Do i need to customise storage location control .if yes then what are steps in details ?

Stop Automatic creation and confirmation of Transafer Order for a doc type

There is a requirement that I need to stop Automatic creation and confirmation of Transafer Order for a particular document type.
The issue is that sometimes the cycle goes upto creation of Invoice automatically but sometimes this does not happen. More over the user wants that the transafer order needs to be confirmed manually.

Automatic Creation and Confirmation of Warehouse Task in EWM 5.1
Hello,
We want an automatic creation and confirmation of the warehouse task in EWM 5.1 on the based of a delivery type and warehouse number.
The scenario goes in this way... As soon as the inbound delivery is created/replicated in EWM, the creation and confimartion of warehouse request, warehouse task and warehouse order (all the transactions) should be called automatically. And the goods receipt should be posted.
Can someone throw more light on the customizing/BADI/enhancements etc required??

Background job fails for BDC profile creation and role assignment
Hi Experts,
I have created a BDC Function module for Tcode 'PFCG' for profile creation and role assignment, and called this FM in my zprogram. the problem is that when i run this program in foreground it executes succesfully, but if i schedule it in background it fails throwing error in job log 'Role 'Z...' does not contain any active authorizations'. But i have created one more program to create authorization objects which runs before this zprogram.I have also checked the authorization object in 'RSECADMIN', it reflects active. I dont understand whats happening exactly when it runs background.

For creating authorization objects, role & profile i have created one dummy auth, dummy role & dummy profile respectively.
i have created dummy objects to copy the roles from dummy object and assign the same to new Auth obj, role & profile.

I am getting error "Quantity entered 7,000 exceeds quantity 5,000 in purchase order' , Message no. SE363" while creating service entry sheet

in service entry sheet creation i am giving 6HR instead of what is planned in PO
Not sure what driving this error, please help

Could you please check if Message SE 363 is set as an E (Error) in the IMG transaction OME0?. If it is set to an error you will not be able to accept service overdeliveries even if you have the unlimited indicator set.
