Autoplay disabled, now nothing happens...
My 30gb video iPod's been working great for about a month. No problem hooking it up or updating. Something happened recently (I think an iTunes update) that caused this to change. I started getting the autoplay error. So after going through everything on the apple support page and reading the forums, I disabled windows to take any action when iPod was hooked in. What's strange is shortly after i exited out of that configuration menu, autoplay opened back up. I unplugged my iPod and since then autoplay has not come up. However, it still won't register in iTunes.
This will not have been the first time I've disabled autoplay, though, and every time I do it seems like it does nothing and still pops up.
Windows XP, service pack 2, Dell Dimension 4550, 30gb video iPod. Thanks to all that can provide any help in resolving this issue.
Edit: Upon rebooting my computer. Whith my iPod already plugged in nothing happens. iTunes won't recognize it and the updater just freezes when trying to initialize. I then tried to unplug and replug in my iPod. Looks like my friend Autoplay is back. It was disabled, but it still seems to be in the way. Does anybody know how to get rid of it?

That is never fun when your iPod touch does not show up on your Mac. Take a look at the article below to walk you through on getting it to show back up on your iTunes. It is very easy to read so you wont feel overwhelmed with to much techy jargon. Let me know if you get this worked out.

Using Tiscali Webmail with Firefox 6. If I try and delete an email the Ok and Cancel buttons are disabled and nothing happens, have to use F5 to take me back. IE8 works so is this a compatibility issue?

After 10.7.2. update cannot see SD card reader in usb drive. Used to appear on desktop and start iPhoto but now nothing happens. It is recognised by system profiler (usb hub), but cannot find it anywhere. Any ideas?
Zap the PRAM and Reset the SMC, then try again.

When I open iTunes, it asks me to download the latest version. When I click on "download now", nothing happens. If I download directly from the iTunes website, do I need to do anything first? Like deleting something?
In the normal course of events, you can update by just running the iTunesSetup.exe. No special precautions need to be taken (beyond those you usually take with an update, or just in general, like maintaining a current backup).

Ever since I installed an application (a Ringtone maker) downloaded from App Store now I can't transfer music to my iphone 4S?
I know I have to use Itunes, I could do it before but now nothing happens. Although I followed the instructions given in the Help Video for that application nothing happened, no ringtones were loaded, and all my music disappeared.
Please help!!!

Connect your iPhone to your computer. In iTunes, select your iPhone in the left bar. In the middle screen, go to the tab 'Music' and see if the Sync music box is checked.
If it is checked, you can select the music you want on your iPhone in the screen below.
If it is not checked, you can drag and drop music from your library to your iPhone.
Do the same in the tab 'Ringtones' (not sure if there is such a tab).

I had a software update on my phone and tapped it to start the update then decided to cancel it. Now it will not let me back in my phone and has a picture that is telling me to plug into iTunes. I had to download iTunes on this computer first because it wasnt on this computer. It has downloaded, but nothing happens when i plug my phone up to the USB port in my computer. The picture telling me to plug into iTunes is still on my phone.

I am using MobileMe on my Mac. Until the last update a few days ago, Firefox always allowed me to attach files to my emails. Now, when I click on the paper clip, and it takes to me find the file I want to attach, and I highlight the file I want to attach and click on 'open', nothing at all happens. the screen just goes back to my email. It always worked before, it does not now. It DOES work on Safari but I hate Safari, i want to use firefox.

Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.

What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting this issue? Are you plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port on the back of your PC? Have you tried a different USB cable?
What happens if you try to reset the device with it still connected to the PC?

Since this iPod used to work with this PC, can you think of anything that might have changed with the PC since the last time you were able to successfully sync the iPod with iTunes? Perhaps you installed a new USB device such as a printer or external hard drive. Maybe you installed some new software or updated an existing piece of software?
Have you carefully worked through each and every single suggestion in this Apple support document?

Not sure if this is your problem, I have come across this on a number of occasions when I put the files.
The problem occurs when I have Local view selected and the files are uploaded to the Testing server rather than the Remote server. In this case, I first select Remote server, wait until the files panel has been populated, then go back to Local view and put my files. -

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.<br />

I have two problems. The most pressing is that I was following a suggestion to restart my IPad by turning off, sliding red arrow, wait for Apple symbol. I now see the apple but alson the little marks that go around when it is working but they are frozen and my home key does not do anything and no icons appear.

We then left for about a week and when I returned to this house I no longer can connect to the internet. I'm not sure if it is okay to ask you another question or must I post the question.
