Autoplay NO LONGER WORKS with the latest update
Just got an automatic iLife update yesterday, over the web.
Since then, the autoplay for quicktime movies in iWeb no longer works. Anyone else having this problem? Anyone have a solution?

Hello, I've updated the iPhone I have got I have a problem I hope you respond to some of the applications no longer work, such as the safari and skype and many applications are no longer working with the ios7.0.4
Standard troubleshooting...
1. Try a Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the slider. Slide to power off. Restart by pressing the sleep/lock button until you see the Apple logo.
2. Try a Reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
3. Remove apps from Recently Used (multi-tasking) list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Swipe up on the app preview card to remove it from the list
- Press the home button when done.
4. If still a problem restore with your backup.
5. If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
6. If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue. -

My iMessage and some of my applications no longer work with the new software update. How do I fix this?
I called Apple Support after trying many fixes suggested online. They directed me to the procedure on the following page:

I did the erase and restore option they suggested since I had tried a pile of ther things suggested on posts and blogs and they did not work. I even waited the obligatory 24 hours, thus the restore from backup option was what they suggested. I have a 64gig iPhone 4S and it took about 1.5 hours to complete the entire operation seeing that I am using about 54 gigs of that capacity.
Warning: I lost all of my emails and all of the data files from one of my map programs so be sure you have everything that you really need from your phone store elsewhere before wiping your phone. I thought that the backup on my computer would restore everything but obviously NOT.

Has anyone had problems with the latest Lexmark printer driver update? My Lexmark printers won't work with the latest driver update. If I reinstall an older version of the drivers, they work.
Mine crashed once with new update, but working fine.
I had to delete old printer, restart iMac, and then reinstall
new drivers to get it to work. Would not complete without
the restart after deleting non-working printer. No problems

GoPod - Does it work with the latest Ipod firmware?
I have a 5th Gen 60gb iPod and have used goPod in the past to remove the volume cap. But ever since updating my iPod with the latest firmware the volume limit seems to be very quiet compared to what it used to be. Is this because goPod 1.4 doesn't work with the latest firmwire?
Has anyone else had this problem or is it just me going deaf?

When I plug my iPod in, launch goPod and then press uncap, it does say that it is now uncapped, but the volume limit is no difference at all. I even tested this by hooking my Ipod up to my PC and recording it capped and uncapped, the levels were exactly the same.
So I feel that goPod v1.4 doesn't work with the latest firmware. -

Presonus interfaces - do they work with the latest Macs?
A few months ago there was much discussion as to the causes of some F/W 400 interfaces not working with the latest F/W 800 only Maca. Something to do with a particular chipset, I believe. There's a firmware update on Presonus' website: can anyone tell me if this resolves the issue, and if so, should it be OK to run a firewire hard drive off the same port?

Richard Vernon.I have the Inspire, and there doesn't seem to be a firmware update. The issue with the Firewire chipset exists, it doesn't send enough power to the Inspire so it won't sync with the computer. I can only get around it by daisy-chaining the Inspire through an externally powered FW harddisk (which I unmount as soon as the Inspire is synced).

see above. When I rebooted Firefox my App Tabs . My app tabs have disappeared with the latest update. 4.0Beta5. The option to make a tab an app tab and my previous app tabs have disappeared.
App Tabs are stored in sessionstore.js as part of the session data, so make sure that session restore is enabled and working.
This can be a problem with the file [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder]
Delete the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak and any existing files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js .

Will Plantronics Voyager 510 bluetooth headset work with the latest macbook
i just received my latest new macbook last week and am considering buying the Plantronics Voyager 510 bluetooth headset for all voice communication over yahoo, ichat or skype (current version of skype has problems with leopard firewall, i hear skype guys are working it out to release a fixed version). So can someone tell me if they tried successfully using a bluetooth headset with the latest intel mac that ships with leopard?
I am posting this new question after having read about the skype bluetooth headset threads on which i could not figure out the answer!

Thanks, neilPlease see the "Voice Mail doesn't work with Bluetooth" item, as it would appear that some of the headsets do work, some don't. My Plantronics 520 no longer works with the Voice mail, but works with everything else. I have an old Motorola bluetooth (850) however, and it both works for calls, and is seen by the voice mail.
By the way, this reference is to stay tuned, as the issue has not been resolved, but there are plenty of responses there, so you're not alone with Plantronics compatibility. Hopefully volume of issues will get priority on software fix. -
I am having major problems with the latest update for my itunes!
I am having problems with the latest update for itunes, it says 'itunes has an invalid signature'. I have completely uninstalled itunes but now it wont download at all. Have tried downloading it 4 times tonight already. Anyone know how to get it to download? Or what to do?

That suggests that the installer is getting damaged during the download.
I'd first try downloading an installer from the Apple website using a different web browser:

If you use Firefox instead of IE for the download (or vice versa), do you get a working installer? -
Bad Form from Apple with the latest update
Update 11.1.4 was obviously released without being fully tested.
Given that it was released in early January and it is now the 29th I would have thought Apple would have given a "fix" top priority.
I wasted a huge amount of time and effort redownloading and trying many different things before giving up in frustration.
Eventually I managed to locate a post made by Turingtest2 on the Support community which allowed me to fix the problem. Thank you Turingtest2!

I have looked into this thread that you've suggested earlier, but I'm hesitant to download a 3rd party application to fix the problem.
This thread also references much longer hang times for autocomplete.
What we're seeing in our office is very small, on the order of 0.1 seconds.
It's enough of a change though that it's causing headaches in our office b/c we were used to instantaneous autocomplete.
The preferred solution would be to have Mozilla undo or fix the change that they made that resulted in the decreased performance with the latest update.
