AutoRewind setting in CS5

Where is the property setting for autoRewind in CS5?  We've just upgraded from Flash Pro 8 and I can't find where to set the autoRewind.
Do I have to Actionscript that function now?

Wow, you ask for advice without providing relevant information … and the names (»Europe …«, »North American …«) alone might have been a give-away that in different regions of the world different standards are common.
Should I be in SRGB or RGB.
What do you mean by »RGB« as opposed to »sRGB«?
RGB is a Color Mode, sRGB IEC61966-2.1 is a Color Space – which makes a big difference in meaning.
Mylenium’s advice to read up on Color Management obviously applies.

  • Setting Bridge CS5 to run Photoshop x32 for Tools

How can I set Bridge CS5 to call on the 32 bit version of Photoshop CS5 for commands from the Tools menu instead of the 64 bit version? I have it set to open files into the 32 bit version, this is just for the scripted actions in the Tools menu.

I have a question about this opening from bridge/ photoshop thing.
So let me get this straight, if I'm in bridge and I select an image it will open ACR in 32 bit mode. If that's true I can understand that. Here's the problem, how do I open ACR from photoshop with a raw image I have selected from photoshop, type in the whole file name and path by hand? Do I open bridge from photoshop and then select my image and that opens ACR in 64 bit method?
I just don't understand the method  or why it makes any real difference.

  • How to set InDesign CS5 as the default in the system having InDesign CS4 has the default ?

How to set InDesign CS5 as the default .indd application when you have InDesign CS4 and CS5 installed and InDesign CS4 is the current default (InDesign CS4 was installed after CS5 installation)

Thanks, but I already tried it at first but it is not the effective method.
I think its because of the this reason :
Both - InDesign CS4 and InDesign CS5 have their application/program/exe named as "indesign.exe".
Installation of either InDesign CS4 or InDesign CS5, sets a Windows default path for the "indesign.exe". In this case, since InDesign CS4 was installed later (after InDesign CS5 was already installed), the "indesign.exe" which was directing InDesign CS5's "indesign.exe" was replaced by InDesign CS4's "indesign.exe".
But after long google and search through regedit, I've got the solution :
    Locate HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\InDesign.Document\Shell\Open\Command in regedit
Change the value of (Default) attribute to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS5.5\InDesign.exe" "%1"     // Include the quotes

Be sure to retain your serial number.  If you don't have it check your Adobe account online for it in your products section - I recommend keeping a copy of it on hand wherever you call home.  The installation files are currently available thru...

  • Creating Plug-in Sets in CS5

Is there a way to duplicate and create multiple plug-in sets in CS5.  This was something I did a lot of in CS4 because I have a lot of plug-ins that aren't compatible with each other.  It seems like they have made it harder to switch between plug-ins now with the extension manager.  Please help!!  :\

    I agree with you.

  • How do I set up CS5.5 educator edition pack when instructions do not match info on my CS5.5 package?

How do I set up CS5.5 educator edition pack when instructions do not match info on my CS5.5 package?

I have a 22-space alphanumeric product code for my Adobe creative suite 5.5 web premium package.
It does not have the 24-space alphanumeric code that is the product code sequence asked for when signing up for adobe procuct code approval.  Adobe keeps asking for a correct code and I only have the one they gave me in the package, called a product code, but adobe keeps rejecting it.
Also, the program never loads correctly - it says this at the end of the 45-minute loading from the disc.  That is getting awfully tiresome as well.  I have everything closed as they request, and do not know how to turn off the virus protection which is windows defender.
Also, mine is a new teacher edition, and when I go to the page for getting my approval, it will not open that page.  I have used Adobe products before with typical annoying hassle but always eventual success.  So this really is perturbing.

  • Glyph panel not displaying font character sets in cs5.5

    Hi
I'm having issues with accessing font character sets & glyphs in ID cs5.5.
I have all my fonts in fontbook and can see the full font character sets displayed but
when I go to my glyph panel to access any additional character or glyphs sets there
is nothing displayed. Any idea where I'm going wrong?
    Thank you

You potentially have a "bad" font. Check your fonts and remove the offender.

  • Default setting for CS5 on Mac.

Several of my filters, preferences, etc. are "greyed".  I have shut down, turned off Mac and restarted but it does not reset Photoshop.  How do I get back to default setting without trashing program and reinstalling?

Truly, I don't know much about anything and just learning about CS5 other than photo touch up.
I am not at my computer but at work, but will try/look at whatever anyone suggests before deciding to
reinstall program.  I was thinking if I could reset to default then
    all would be OK.

    2nd, about general work flow
I edit AVCHD http://forums.adobe.com/thread/652694 with a few pictures thrown in between video clips... to end up with a DVD... I always edit in the "native" setting for the video, with size changes for a DVD only at the end
Always start your project with a video clip, so the project is correct for the video, and add pictures later... at least until you get used to how to set a project to match what you are going to edit
My PERSONAL choice is to export from PPro as Widescreen DV AVI to then author in Encore, and let Encore do "automatic" transcoding to fit my selected single or dual layer DVD size... so I don't have to get into bit budgets and transcode settings
When I create a DVD from my HiDef source it looks FAR better than the DVD's I used to create from an 8mm tape camera... which I expected, due to the much better source video

  • Question: how can I tell Bridge I want to set PS CS5 as the default program for opening .psd files

How do I change a specific file type association in Bridge CS5, namely the .psd file type? I had installed Photoshop CS6, but am unable to use it due to extreme slowness (another problem, not for this question). I have reverted to using Photoshop CS5 and Bridge CS5.
Now when I double-click on a .psd file in Bridge CS5 to open it (or right-click on the .psd file) , the file opens up in the glacially slow CS6. I went to edt>preferences>file type associations to change the association to Photoshop CS5, but .psd is not listed as a file type (.jpg and .dng and a host of other file types are listed). How can I change the association if I cannot find the file type? (BTW: I have changed the file type association in Windows Explorer; I am running Windows XP.) I know I can open PS CS5 manually and scroll to the image I want to open but, to my mind, that defeats one of the main purposes of Bridge.
Any advice you can offer would be gratefully received.
    Thank you.

This is mac screenshot, but should be in same place.
Win 7 works very goo on my home computer, much better security. One problem myslef inlcuded have had is files permissisons, especially on external drives, and you have to dig to china in the menus to fix it, or else you can't save over the same file name. So if you plan on upgrading do it on a day you can troublshoot to fix that annoyance, though at this point might be good to wait for win8.

The MTU setting on the interface is the layer 3 packet size. In this case, the MTU is set to 1500, but the largest frame size transmitted on the interface (including layer 2 headers) is 1516. It sounds like you are experiencing another problem at the LES.

Close the jpeg in Photoshop! This procedure is done on an unopened (closed) file in the finder, Photoshop is not involved.
Open a FINDER window, click ONCE to select your file (NOT double click to open it)
Command I or in the Finder, File menu, select Get Info.
In the GET INFO window, change the Open With item to Photoshop
Click the CHANGE ALL button, You will get the warning "This change will apply to all Adobe Photoshop CS5.app documents with extension “.jpg”.
Click CONTINUE and from now on all jpegs double clicked in the finder will automatically open in Photoshop

  • CS6 Three-Way CC not importing setting from CS5.5 Timelines or from Saved Presets from CS.5.5

    Hello,
I had created two presets for the CS5.5 Three Way Color Corrector that I use in almost every project for dealing with sun shadows and hightlights on talents's skin and they no longer work in CS6.  I've tried loading the old project/timeline/sequence into Premiere CS6 but the TWCC just acts like it is at default settings. No changes to the video at all.
I also had saved my two TWCC settings as presets (from CS5.5) to the hard drive to I would not loose them.  I tried reloading those presets into CS6 but same problem.. they do nothing now.   I guess no one checked to see that the new CS6 TWCC was backwards compatible with CS5.5.   Major problem when loading / converting cs5.5 timelines to update client's projects.   Adobe, please take a look at this and fix as soon as you can.  Thanks!  Wayland
    Version info:
CS6 Cloud (last update as of friday Sept. 28, 2012)
CS5.5 Master Collection (previous version - now uninstalled)
    Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

    Hi Jim,
I've spent the better part of the day trying to redo what I had before and frankly the new TWCC sucks!  The previous one was sooo much better.  I can't even get close to what I had before. Many of the controls show up when you select 'show' but have little or no effect on the real video.  I wish I could just delete the current one and replace it with the old one.  If I still had CS5.5 I'd try that.  Not happy at all.  I'll be up all night trying to catch up due to time wasted on this stupid redesign of the TWCC as I have a ton of work due tomorrow.
Thanks for the reply and Best Wishes,
    Wayland
