AutoTune in Logic Pro 8

Question

I want to use the pitch correction in Logic Pro but have some questions.
I recorded a vocal track (using MIC via iMac Input). The audio track is recorded fine.
Then I recorded a software instrument track using my keyboard via midi. This midi track has all the correct notes for the melody.
Is there a way that I can set the vocal track to follow the midi track? Or, in other words, use the midi track as guide to establish the correct pitch/note for the audio track.
For example: melody recorded on the midi track is E - E - B (simple notes, not chords). My vocal pitch should be E - E - B as well. But since my vocal is limited I recorded E - Eb - A (I sang a little flat on the second E and then could not reach B). Is there a way to use the midi as reference???

No, that cannot be done in Logic. You would need Melodyne.
You can however use automation on the Pitch correction plugin.
If you exclude all Pitches but E and B in the Pitch Correction window. Just click on the keys, so they are the only ones lit. All pitches will be transposed to E or B. You can use scales, or customize and alter scales thru automation.

btw, Melodyne will sound a lot more natural. Logics' PC is more an effect than a natural pitch corrector.
