AutoVue License Key File

Hi,
We have purchased “ Oracle AutoVue 20.1.1 Media Pack for Microsoft Windows (32-bit)”. So any one can please tell me that how I can install the “AutoVue License Key File”.
Thanks in advance.
Nabhendu

Hi Nabhendu,
The AutoVue installation does not require any specific steps to install a license key. In the very old versions of AutoVue (many years ago), there was a separate step to install a license key, but in your version (20.1.1) the license key is automatically part of your installation.
Thanks,
Graham

I have to tried to directly enter the license key through transaction code Slicense but got the error "Incorrect Parameter Specified". I also tried to install through OS level but even could not do so. I have ordered key 5 times, none works on either SAP level or the OS level.
Somebody told me to upload the file, Please Guide me how to upload license key file to the SAP System.
    Thank You
    Best Regards,

Very late into the reply. But I am sure someone will run into this issue again -
In windows cmd prompt, navigate to c:\mbs.
Then type saplicense.exe -install then follow the prompt.
NOTE: If you get the following error -
    C:\MBS>saplicense.exe -install
    *** SAPLICENSE (Release 46D) ERROR ***
ERROR:   Can not set DbSl trace function
DETAILS: DbSlControl(DBSL_CMD_IMP_FUNS_SET) failed with return code 20
RC-INFO: error loading dynamic db-library - check environment for:
                 dbms_type = <db-type>  (e.g. ora)
                 DIR_LIBRARY = <path to db-dll>  (e.g. /usr/sap/SID/SYS/exe/run)
Type"C:\MBS>dbenv.cmd", once it is done. simply retype
saplicense.exe -install then follow the prompt.
    Good Luck.

  • J2E License Key File With Changed System Number

    Hello,
During the last weeks, there had been some trouble according to the sneak preview licensing web site to get a new license key for special SAP systems like J2E, NSP etc.
In the meantime, I used especially for my J2E instance via visual admin the button "install subsequent temp license" with success.
Returning anew to the web site today, I saw that now we are able again to renew the license key for our trial systems and ordered successfully license keys for J2E and NSP instance.
Because both systems have got new system numbers, I deleted the expired license key for NSP via saplicense -delete. Then I installed regularly the given new license key with success.
After starting the J2E instance, I tried to delete the existing active license (see above) via installed licenses getting a message which let me stop my try to delete the license because I feared for to get trouble with the system afterwards.
The exact text of the warning trying to delete the existing active license sounds:
    DELETE J2EE-Engine_ADA License:
You are about to delete the license for the J2EE-Engine. This may lead to a shutdown of the running system. You will not be able to start the J2EE-Engine again without a valid license. Do you really want to proceed?
Trying to install the given license from file (via General), I got the informational message:
This system's system number is "xyz", but there is a license key for the system number "abc" in file path\J2E.txt. License key file path\J2E.txt doesn't contain any valid SAP license keys.
    License key(s) not completely installed.
    That was to be expected...
    So my questions are:
    1) What is to do when I want to implement the new given license key file which has another system number as the existing active one.
    2) How often can I use the possibility to prolong my active license via button "Install subsequent temp. license" in future without falling in trouble?
    Thank you for your answers.
    Regards
    Christian

Before deleting the J2EE engine license, check the "Installed Licenses" tab and verify that there is another J2EE-engine license with Validity "Valid" and within a satisfactory date range.  Only under this situation will I feel comfortable with removing the additional/expired licenses.
Your original message is a bit confusing ... let me see if I got it correctly.  You have been running your J2EE instance with temp licenses, because there was some issues w/ preview licensing on SAP's web site.  Now that you have finally received your preview license, you wish to install it.
But since then, your system number has changed.  Do you mean system ID?  Since your example used a 3 character ('xyz' vs 'abc').  I think the SID is what you mean.  Because changing system number will not require a new license, but changing the SID will.
So now you have the following.
    1. J2EE running on temp license with SID 'xyz'
    2. A new preview license for SID 'abc'
What you need to do is:
    1. Request from SAP preview license for the SID that matches your system 'xyz'.  OR, change the SID of your system from 'xyz' to 'abc', which is not recommended ...especially w/ AS-JAVA.
    2. Install the new preview licenses.
    3. Verify preview licenses are valid.
    4. I don't believe you have to remove the temp licenses, it's overwritten when you install the permanent preview licenses.

  • When and how to install a new license key fo SAP Netweaver ABAP Trial 7.0

Hello, i have some questions regarding the license key. I know hoy to install the license key and now everything is working fine but in 10 days my license will expire so... what i have to do ?
1.- I know that i can request a new one. No problem.
2.- I know that i have to logon with user SAP* to install the new license.
    Problems:
1.- I´ve just tried to install the new one but i get the following message
This system's system number is "000000000311180667", but there is a license key for system number "000000000311223326" in the license key file.
What i must do, may i have to wait until the actual license expire ? it´s normal this message ? may i have to uninstall the first license key before installing the new one ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Joaquin Casas Baca-Castex

After installing the license extension, I can login with user SAP* any time, but SAP* cannot do any development tasks.
I cannot login with user BCUSER.
This is very bad, because SLICENSE screen says there is a valid license, the one I got from SDN and installed after editing the NSP.txt file to set the correct SYSTEM-NR
What I am doing now is:
    1. Set the Windows clock in the past when the original license is still valid
    2. Log in with BCUSER
    3. Set the Windows clock back to the present
BCUSER session keeps working fine, but it cannot open new sessions.
Also remote RFC connections will fail, but I am using SAP* for those and it works.

I suggest uninstalling as much apps(if not all 3rd party apps) as you can from your phone then back it up. The only means you can save the license for your Spidey3..Just pray that it be retained after the update =)
Is it...? Is it some hidden file? Can't I just copy it off of the phone to a safe place?

  • [SOLVED]WinRar license key

    Hi!
I have installed WinRar from AUR and I don't know where I should put the license key file.

There's a order.htm file in the source archive that's not installed by the packaging process, it states:
If you use RAR/Unix and RAR for OS X, you should copy rarreg.key to your home directory or to one of the following directories: /etc, /usr/lib, /usr/local/lib, /usr/local/etc. You may rename it to .rarreg.key or .rarregkey, if you wish, but rarreg.key is also valid.

  • Installing license key in CE1 ( Type  Release  Updated )

    Hi,
Because this is a JAVA only system, I only know two ways to obtain the “Hardware key”, needed to get a SAP license key from http://service.sap.com/sap/bc/bsp/spn/minisap/minisap.htm.
Via `saplicense.exe -get”, which is not possible because saplicense.exe is not there. I look for it on  every disk on the system. So it was really not there.
The download of the database independent part of a kernel, from the SAP Service Marketplace.solved this, ( downloads Support Packages and Patches"u00A0SAP NetWeaver"u00A0SAP NETWEAVER"u00A0SAP NETWEAVER 2004S"u00A0Entry by Component"u00A0Application Server ABAP -->SAP KERNEL 7.00 32-BIT -> #Database independent -> Windows Server on IA32 32bit In this file is a working saplicense.exe.
Via the Visual Administrator. There is no directory D:\usr\sap\CE1\J01\j2ee\admin directory,
so I don't know how to start the Visual Administrator
To install the license key file I also need a Visual Administrator. Or is there another way to install the license file from |SAP?
    Kind regards, Edwin Slee

    Hi,
I faced a problem, which required me to install the licence (on M36). I was searching for how to do it, came across this link.
I did it through netweaver adminitration. http://localhost/nwa/licenses --> install license --> browse your license file and add.
    Hope this helps.

  • Need to redownload Flash Pro 10 as original file lost. I have the license keys

I am rebuilding my PC from a WinXP installation up to Win 8.1
I had to start off with my installer for Flash6 and worked my way up with my license keys through all the upgrades I bought over the years.
I have a successful installation of Flash Pro 8, and I still have the installer file for Flash 10.1, but cannot find the original file for Flash 10 that I bought as a download.
The 10.1 install fails because it cannot find v.10.
My Adobe account shows all my license keys for these products but does not offer me the ability to download them again.
And of course it would be too easy to have proper customer service where I can send them an email.
Anyone know of a way to resolve this without hanging on a premium rate phone line for hours?
    Thanks in advance

  • Wha is this Oracle license- key or file?

    Hi,
I need some information on the license provided by Oracle for forms 10G. The requirement is to develop, test and deploy forms to the servers on copper network. I understand from OTN license that it is 30 day trial period software with very limited access.
Is the license for full version, a kind of a code which is prompted when we conect from client to the production servers. Or is it a license file which needs to reside on the user machine and is validated each time we conect to the production database.
I need this info to decide on whether to buy a license for using forms 10G or think of remote desktop option to access forms and develop.

If this license is just a piece of paper then how can it be used it for development of application which involves 10-15 developer working on dfferent machines. There needs to be some mechanism to validate the Devloper Suite 10G residing on the developer desktop when he/she is trying to connect to the production servers.
In the OTN license it is very clearly stated the following...
    You may not:
    - use the programs for your own internal data processing or for any commercial or production purposes, or use the programs for any purpose except the development of your application;
    - use the application you develop with the programs for any internal data processing or commercial or production purposes without securing an appropriate license from us;
    +- continue to develop your application after you have used it for any internal data processing, commercial or production purpose without securing an appropriate license from us, or an Oracle reseller;
I have use develop and use this application for internal data processing. I am looking for the info where someone can tell if this license is a kinda certificate exchanges between client and server or just an activatin key or some kinda license.lic file to be present on developer's machine whihc can be obtained only from Oracle once we have purchased this Suite.

  • How do I enter CS6 license key when Adobe Application Manager immediately tries to authenticate against my expired Creative Cloud membership?

I have CS6 Master Suite installed along side my now-expired Creative Cloud apps (I am evaluating whether to renew my subscription at this time). Both CS6 and Creative Cloud are currently unlicensed due to a snafu with my educational license, but I have a new CS6 license that I am trying to register CS6 with. However, upon launching any CS6 program, Adobe Application Manager then launches and tells me that my Creative Cloud membership is now expired. How/where to I enter my CS6 license key? I have already tried entering my new license on my Adobe account profile > “My products and services”, and reinstalled CS6 applications from my original disk image (MasterCollection_CS6_LS16.dmg).
    Thanks in advance,
    Liz

Figured this one out from another thread, after which I was able to sign in again with my Adobe ID and my software was ready to use:
    Windows:
    Delete these folders
    SLStore from C:\ProgramData\Adobe
    SLCache from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
    OOBE from C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\Local\Adobe
    Mac:
Delete SLStore and SLCache from /Library/Application Support/Adobe
    Delete OOBE from ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe

  • SAP license key error:  no valid license found:  cannot log into SAP GUI

I deleted temp license from slicense on SM box, since I had already installed new digital license from SAP.  Well, later I tried to log in again and was locked out.  After some research, I found "sap license check failed" in the log files, java will not come up, and the hardware key has changed on me, so the valid license that was active before is not showing up now.
I applied for a new license with new hardware key and attempted to install from cmd prompt, using saplicense -install ifile=c:license.txt, but it gets an error.  I put a trace on it and appears it cannot read license file key.  I also tried to install another temp license, but that failed since no other previous valid license was found.  At this point, I'm thinking I need to manually insert the license key into the database, but not sure what table or exactly how.  SAP has not provided a solution yet.
I believe the hardware key changed due to renaming the server (we took out a hyphen in name) and had also reinstalled afterwards.
Has anyone else run into this issue?

Yes, I wish it were that simple, but I cannot even bring up the logon screen.  SAP GUI returns a message, resource temporarily unavailable.  I looked in SAP MMC syslog and found several entries, "SAP-Basis System: No license found for hardware ID DLIC_HWIDKE"
I tried to install temp license from cmd prompt, but it says refuses and says no old or expired license found.  I also tried to install the new license I applied for from SAP with new hardware key using saplicense -install ifile=license.txt and that failed as well.
For NW2004s, is it even possible to install a digital license using cmd prompt?

  • Retrieve License Keys to software if mac does not start up

I have a white MacBook running 10.6 Snow Leopard. I received it from a friend that had forgotten the admin pass, but is was still useable, as there was a standard user on it with no password that I could use. I then needed to install some new software, which required the admin password, so I followed the steps here to reset the password.
However, once I rebooted the Mac, it became stuck on the Apple Logo.
I have tried several different ways to make the Mac boot (start up from Install DVD and repair disk, run steps to reset password again), but none of them work. I know that I could simply use the install disk to reinstall the OS, but I have quite a lot of expensive software that I do not want to lose (Photoshop, Illustrator etc).
I have been able to gain access to the Hard Drive using Target Disk mode, but I know from previous experience that if I simply copy the applications across to an external HD, reinstall the OS and copy back, it will ask me for a license key (which I do not have).
Is there any solution to my problem?
Is there a file I should edit to make my computer boot?
Is there a location where Adobe programs store their license keys that I could copy to prevent me losing my software?
    Thanks in advance

If your getting to the log in window you are NOT on the OS Install Disc..
Just make sure you have the disc in the drive and Then shut down by holding the power button down... Then restart holding down the "C" key... If the disc ejects.. keep holding "C" and pull the disc out one inch then gently slide back in.. Keep holding C.... You will get a few screens then the install screen... STOP.. go to utility's menu at the Top of window... open "disk Utility".. highlight your FULL HD.. Click the button to the right ..OK Heres the deal.. I would erase/ re format the HD.. You will resolve any issue with the bad install.. But remember you will have a blank HD so if you didnt back up.. Well... Then Do your Install.. Nice and clean ... Best of luck....
