Availability check / Proposed date

Hi Gurus,
Is there a way to have availability check without any blocking message?
I mean availability check runs and proposes a date in the future according stock and so on.
I would like to overwrite manually the date proposed.
Many thanks.
Stéphane

Dear,
You can change shedule line date, speciefy future date.
Then go to table T100 by SE16N,and put below data & execute and chnage masage text e.g Deliver is possible after one week.
Whatever text you want.

  • Availability Check : Confirmed Date in Sales Order.

    Hello Gurus,
I have an issue with the availability check.
    Scenario :
Customer has created an order for quantity 800 on 26th of Feb and accordingly when created the order go confirmed for 17th of March.
The specific quanity(batch) of 800 was released from Quality to unrestricted on 27th of Feb.
And Now that the stock is in unrestrictd the customer wants to deliver this material before 29th of Feb as against the 17th of March confirmed date.
When we try to re run the availability check, since there are other open orders and deliveries against the material system proposes a new confirmed date alltogether which is still further ahead of 17th.
Can some body advice me as to how do i ensure that the particular quantity can be sold before 29th.
I have also tried running Backorder processing and Rescheduling which failed, It might also be because i might have not run them properly as i am new to the concept of backorder processing and rescheduling.
Please guide me to correct this step wise.
    Thanks.

    please try as below:
Back order processing is a functionality in SAP where you can change the committments and over-ride the blockage of stocks marked against sales documents/deliveries. For e.g. you receive an order from a very important customer for material "A" but the entire quantity of A is committed to another customer "B" via earlier sales orders and this is where BACK ORDER processing helps you to change the committment and shift stock due for B to A. This is the benefit of this funtionality.
OMIH - Checking rule for updating backorders
OPJL - Define new checking rule
OPJJ - Define scope of check
    V_RA - Backorder Processing
    Data selection:-
    Sold-to-party Customer code Mandatory
    Sales Organization Mandatory
    Distribution Channel Mandatory
    Division Mandatory
    Changed confirmed quantity :-
Tick the material you want to changed and click the Back order button Confirmed quantity that still can be changed are highlighted.
    V.15 - Backorder List
    Sales Organization Mandatory
    Distribution Channel Mandatory
    Division Mandatory

  • Availability Check - Committed Date Field

We are building a Z report, where column committed date for missing
components {after availability check} needs to be added. Please advise
from which table/structure can this information be retrieved. Also, is
    there a way to validate
Note: It is noticed that committed date field is emmedded in a structure
(ATPCS - DAT01), not sure how the mentioned could be validated

System dynamically calculates that date when you execute program. Here's the approach you need to follow in your zprogram.
Go to RESB for missing parts (RESB-XFEHL) = 'X' get all the missing components.
    Then use function module BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY
input the following (you gathered from resb table)
    plant
    material number
    unit
check rule : PP (if you're using PP in order control for order type) (tcode OPJK)
    storage location (if applicable)
the output field ENDLEADTME will give you committed date and field AV_QTY_PLT will give you the total committed qty. If date is blank it means 12/31/9999

  • Schedule lines in Availability Check Delivery Proposal screen

    Hi,
This is in continuation to an earlier thread that I had created about Sales Orders not getting CIFfed across to APO. I have a situation in a different system where this is being configured for data transfer. The problem here is not about CIF. All issues pertaining to CIF were addressed in the earlier thread.
This question is primarily about schedule lines of the sales order not opening up for confirmation in 'APO Availability Check: Delivery Proposal' screen as in this link: https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B78qjSKXsqbeNDFjMzlkM2MtMDNlOS00ODFmLWJmYjktYmU0ZDU5Zjk0ZDlh&sort=name&layout=list&num=50&authkey=CO2E0ZYN
It is perhaps some config that is changed or missing that is causing this problem.
    Kind regards,
    Srikanth

    Srikanth,
This is what the screen looks like when the ATP you have configured cannot confirm anything.  The only button available to you is to proceed without confirming the order.
An example of the types of reasons would be no allocation available, no stock available, no supply elements available, too many existing requirements, etc etc.  Improper or incomplete APO GATP configuration could unfortunately also be the culprit.
You have two icons at the top, check instructions and Allocation.  Click on these buttons, and they may give you clues as to what is causing your problems.
    Best Regards,

  • Stock confiramtion at sales order level for future date- Availability Check

    Hi all
    Here is the scenario
This setting is available in the system:
    Stock is available
Sales order created with Requested delivery date in future-> not confirmed
Sales order created with Requested del date today -> confirmed
    The requirement :
how and where to change this setting in IMG so that also orders with Requested Delivery Date in future are confirmed if stock is available.
As this is urgent request to respond quickly.
    Regards
    Devender

    Hello Devender,
You can achieve the mentioned scenario by configuring ATP. You can do ATP with RLT or ATP without RLT.
In ATP with RLT, system will check and confirm the quantities from existing stock only and if quantities are insufficient then the system will consider inline POs or manufacturing time to confirm remaining quantitites.
Else you will be getting schedule lines for only items in stock and remaining will be unconfirmed as ATP without RLT will be activated i.e., system will check and confirm the quantities from existing stock only.
Types of Availability Check in Sales and Distribution
    Processing
There are three types of availability check:
_ Check on the basis of the ATP quantities
    _ Check against product allocation
    _ Check against planning
The following SD-specific control features need to be maintained in Customizing:
    _ Checking group
The checking group controls whether the system is to create individual or collective
requirements in sales and shipping processing. In addition, a material block for the
availability check with transfer of requirements can be set here. The checking group can
also be used to deactivate the availability check. This option was created especially for
the assembly order so that when the bill of material is exploded in the assembly order,
the individual components, if necessary, can be classified as non-critical parts as far as
    procurement is concerned.
The checking group specifies in combination with the checking rule the scope of the
availability check. It is proposed in the material master record on the basis of the material
type and the plant, and copied into the sales and distribution documents.
    _ Checking Rule
You use the checking rule to control the scope of the availability check for each
transaction in sales and distribution. You also specify whether the check should be
carried out including or excluding replenishment lead time. The individual checking rules
define by transaction, which stock and inward and outward movement of goods should
be taken into account for the availability check.
    _ Schedule line category
You can control with the schedule line category whether an availability check and
transfer of requirements should be carried out in the sales documents. The possible
settings for this at schedule line level are dependent on the settings in the requirements
class which is determined from the requirements type of the material.
    _ Delivery item category
The delivery item category can be used to control whether an availability check takes
    place in deliveries.
    Requirements type
The various requirements are identified by their requirements type. The requirements
type refers to the requirements class and its control features.
    _ Requirements Class
The requirements class contains all control features for planning such as relevance for
planning, requirements planning strategy and requirements consumption strategy. In
addition, it is specified at a global level whether an availability check is to take place for
the material in the sales and distribution documents on the basis of the ATP quantity
(ATP = available to promise) and whether requirements are to be passed on. A finer
degree of control can be obtained for sales documents using the schedule line category.
Replenishment lead time is only included in the check performed on the basis of the
    ATP quantity.
    Prerequisites
An availability check can only be carried out if the following prerequisites have been fulfilled:
_ The control elements described above for the availability check must be maintained in
Customizing for Sales and the relevant assignments made to the sales transactions
_ The availability check must be switched on at requirements class level and - for the
availability check in the sales documents - at schedule line category level
A requirements type must exist by which the requirements class can be found
_ A plant must be defined. It can either be proposed from the customer or material master
record or can be entered manually in the document.
_ A checking group must be defined in the material master record on the Sales/plant data
screen in the Availability check field
Configuring entries of the Availability Check
IMGSDBasic fncsAvailability check and TORAvailability checkAvailability check with ATP logic or against planningDefine checking groups
You can use SAP std checking groups of 01 for summarized reqts or 02 for daily reqts or u can create ur own.
The columns total sales and total deliveries are selection options whereby u can configure a checking rule to sum up reqts to post to MRP either individually or by day or week.
Column 5, Block qty; set this block if u want several users to be able to process the material simultaneously in different transactions without blocking each other. The No Check indicator is used when u want a material to not be relevant for an ATP check.
Defining a material block for other users. The Block checkbox is an indicator that enables u to block the particular material from being checked for availability if it is already being checked at the same time by another user.
Defining the default value for checking groups. However should no entry exist for the checking group in the material master record, one can set a default value per material type and plant.
Controlling the availability check. In this section, u tell the system what stock on hand and what inward and outward movements of stock it must take into account when performing the availability check. These settings are based on the checking group that is assigned to the material master record and the checking rule that is predefined and assigned to the sd transaction. The carry out control for the availability check must be maintained for both the sales order and delivery.
    Reward points if helpful.
    Regards,
    Priyanka

  • How to execute availability check against delivery date in purchase order

    Hi all
In MD04, I know that "available date = delivery date in purchase order + GR processing time" & "GR date = delivery date in purchase order". When I execute availability check in production order, I will get material's committed date = available date. But I hope to get material's committed date = GR date in purchase order.
For example. delivery date in purchase order is 2012/02/06 and GR processing time is 2 days. After ATP in production order, I will get committed date 2012/02/08. But I hope it show 2012/02/06. How to customize it.
(The GR processing time must be set 2 days for MRP calculation. it can be changed to 0.) Thanks!!

    Hi Rita,
One Doubt, If you say that material commited has to be the GR date and you do not wish to wait for GR processing time, then why do you have the GR processing time in first place.
For ex. My client, we get the stock as per GR in Quality inspection and so we have GR processing time considered for available time in MD04. But since the business considers the Inspection stock as avialble, The stock gets reflected in avialibility check the moment GR is done.
So please explain your requirement in detail. There could some way to do so. If not the raise an issue with SAP.

  • Check price and availability shows no data

    Dear Experts,
In the Check price and availability app, im trying to check the availability of a material on a particular date.
    Issue 1:
The available stock quantity for material 953 is 260. There is no availability check maintained in material master(KP- no check)
Say for eg, 29th may and quantity as 10 items for material 953, the app displays data as below. How is the estimated delivery date calculated as i ahve not maintained any planned delivery date in MMR.
But when i check for this material 953 or 954 or 2390 or any other material for date 27th may or 29th may, it says stock is not available though the
physical stock is listed for 260 pcs as below.
    Issue 2:
The available stock of material 953 is only 260. when I check for 1000 quantities on 30th May, the system must say, stock is not available
But however the app displays stock is available with the estimated delivery date. Im unable to find the cause of this output.
Please guide me how to sort the issue.
Please help as this issue is urgent.

  • Checking if Date/Time is Available (and then some more)

Okay, so I am stepping out of my as3 skill set here quite a ways and need some bookoo assistance (Flash 5.5). I am working on trying to come up with a way (an AIR desktop application, or web application) for the teachers on my campus to be able to assign students to a variety of detention types, dates/times with limited seating available.  I want the teachers to be able to input the student data and select a date/time or even multiple dates/times, then have the program check to see if there are any available seats remaining for that date/time.  If so, assign the student to that seat.  If not, display the next available seat's date for that time slot with the option to assign student to that date or choose another.
I also want to be able to run a report that will tell me who is serving which detention, when (date/time) and in what room.
I would also like teachers to be able to "re-assign" a student if they needed to for whatever reason, thus freeing a seat in the previous slot and filling a seat in another.
I'm not quite sure where to start aside from the interface design (that I can easily handle). Does anyone know of a good tutorial (or a few) that could get me on my way to try to code all this?
    Thanks!

except for making a calendar (http://active.tutsplus.com/tutorials/actionscript/understanding-date-making-a-calendar-in- as3/) there is only logic needed to create that app.

  • Sales Order availability checks + date changes in POs v Proc Orders

Am getting into a knot about availability checks.
I have a MTO process. All my materials have the same planning strategy (MRP3) but are either inhouse manufactured/external (MRP2)
    1. I create a sales order for a subcontracted material so MRP creates a Purchase Requisition which I convert to a Purchase Order..
    OR
    2. I create a sales order for a manufactured material so MRP creates a planned order which I convert to a Process Order
Let say I have a delivery date in the sales order of September 20th for both scenarios above.
    1. For the subcontract PO, my delivery date is confirmed by the vendor as October 10th so I change the delivery date in the PO. If I run the availabilty check in the sales order, the sales order delivery date changes from September 20th to October 10th.
    Perfect.
    BUT
    2. For the manufactured products, if I change the process order to have a Finish Date of October 10th due to a busy production line, when I go into my sales order and run the availability check, it still comes back with September 20th, i.e. ignores the date on the Process order. Why isn't it updating to October 10th?
My ATP check is set up to include Production/Process Orders. any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?
    Many thanks.

    Hi Shiva
Here are my availability check settings in OVZG
All "Stocks" checkboxes are unticked except for "W/O Subcontracting".
All "In/outward movements" checkboxes are ticked.
    X "check all planned orders"
X "Take all production orders into account"
X "Check releases for stock transport orders and requisitions".

  • How to get committed date for each component after availability check

    Hi,
When I use CO02 to check material availability, I can see committed date in missing part list and missing part overview for each component in production order. I save it and use CO03 to read missing part list again. The committed date is blank?! How to get the committed date for each missing part in production order?
Another question, committed date can be displayed in CO24(missing parts info system)? Thanks in advance!!

    Rita,
Please check that the PP avail. check has replensh lead time turned on. If RLT is turned off & there is no sufficient stock of material, then system can only committ date of 12/31/9999.
Once you turn on RLT, it will give you some date based on your configured avail check ( that looks at stock or purchase order or production order). That way if there is no sufficient stock of material to satisfy your order system will committ the worst case date which is the RLT.
On CO24 unfortunately there is no field for Committ date. Hence is it not possible to view commit date. You can only view Committ quantity.
i am sure this will help you. Else please come back.
    thanks,
    Ram

  • Availability  check in Enjoy Purchase Order & Requisition

    Hi Experts,
The availability check is used in 4.7E also but what is difference in Ecc 6.0 or new functionality added
Can any one plz let me know
    Regards
    Pratap

Below is capture from sap release documentation :
Availability Check in Enjoy Purchase Order and Requisition
    (Changed)
    Use
As of SAP ECC 6.0, SAP_APPL 600, display and checking of availability are invokable separately in the
Enjoy purchase order and requisition in line with the system behavior on the Sales side.
You invoke the display and checking of availability in the Enjoy purchase order (transaction code
ME21N) and the Enjoy purchase requisition (transaction code ME51N) as follows:
    - To display the availability overview, choose Environment -> Availability
    - To check availability, choose the Check Availability icon.
13.6.16.3 System Behavior After Availability Check for an Item (Changed)
    Use
If you carry out the availability check for an item of a stock transport order, hitherto the system adopted
confirmations as per the desired date/time only.
    SAP AG 30
    ______________________________________________________S_A_P_-S_y_s_te_m_
As of SAP ECC 6.0, SAP_APPL 600, you can define in Customizing how the system reacts if the desired
quantity cannot be confirmed for the desired date/time.
You have a choice of two settings:
    - Confirmation as per desired date/time
This is the standard setting and corresponds to previous system behavior.
    - Delivery proposal
    - Full confirmation
    Effects on Customizing
You make the settings in the Rule for Adoption of ATP Results in Purchasing field in Customizing for
Purchasing under Purchase Order -> Set Up Stock Transport Order -> Assign Delivery Type and
    Checking Rule.

  • Availability check in the background

    Hi,
Please can anybody advise whether there are any standard reports/transactions whereby the availability check for sales documents (including scheduling agreements) can be ran in the background? i.e. is there any way to do a mass availability check
The requirement is to re-run the availability check and confirm the proposed quantities in the background without having to enter each sales order and manually re-run the availability check.
Example - order is received for 100 however 0 is confirmed for the requested date due to the availability check, the 100 is confirmed on later scheduline line once the stock has become available. Stock of 50 then comes available and we would like to confirm the 50 for the required date and the remaining 50 for when stock will be available. How to do this without entering the sales document item and manually running ATP.
I have tried using V_V2 rescheduling report however it cannot be restricted by sales document number and does not give us the required proposals.
    Many Thanks

    Hi Tubby ,
i am looking at this one
    Indicator 'Unconfirmed documents required'; Rescheduling
The option 'unconfirmed documents required', which is preset, only carries out rescheduling for materials for which at least one unconfirmed transaction already exists.
If rescheduling should also be carried out for materials, for which all transactions are confirmed, deselect the indicator. However, you should note that if you make this selection the quantity of data to be processed will increase.

  • Availability check for Make to stock and Make to Order

    Dear All,
Client is selling   Make to stock and make to Order material.
How and what settings need to do for Avaialbility check.or we can use standard one.
I hope in case of Make to Order availability check may not happen.
    Please correct me.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Shrikant

    hi,
yes for make to order we dont have AvChk.  for make to stock items u need to follow the
    below configuration.
    Availability check
    1. Availability check is an integral part of the business process that determines if the required delivery quantity can be met on a required delivery date. For this purpose the system takes into account pre-delivery activities such as scheduling for picking or packing times and the time taken to produce or obtain the material. It also performs several background functions such as Backorder processing, rescheduling and ATP quantities.
    2. Backorder processing: processing of a sales order that has not been fully confirmed or not confirmed at a certain delivery date.
    3. Rescheduling: is a proposal of how u2013 confirmed quantities already assigned to a sales order can be reassigned to other sales orders that have a higher priority.
    4. Available to promise (ATP): is a process of checking the available quantities of a material. The ATP quantity consists of warehouse stock + planned receipts (incoming stock) u2013 planned issues (outgoing stock). to examine stock on hand (CO09) proceed to logistics u2013 sales & distribution u2013 sales u2013 environment u2013 availability overview.
    5. Replenishment lead time (RLT): is the time taken for the material to become available either internally (in house production) or externally (from a vendor). The most important things to consider during an external procurement are purchasing and MRP 2 (procurement) views of MMR where the processing time for purchasing, planned delivery time and goods receipt processing time are taken into account. On the other hand internal procurement is based on in house production time (MRP 2 view) goods receipt processing time or alternatively RLT time, which is found on MRP 3 view.
    6. RLT (Replenishment Lead Time) is the time taken for the material to become available. RLT is only used when doing an ATP check (Available To Promise). The value of RLT for a material is specified on material master record.
    7. There are three types of availability checks u2013
Check on basis of ATP quantities.
    Check against product allocation.
    Check against planning.
Configuring Availability check through Checking Groups u2013
    1. The checking group + checking rule determine how the availability check is to be performed.
    2. The checking group determines whether and how the system checks the stock availability and generates requirements for material planning. The checking group defines what type of requirements will be passed on i.e. summarized requirements (daily/weekly) or individual requirements for each sales order.
    3. The checking rule applies to how the availability check is to be carried out at the transaction level. Note that you must define checking rules for each individual application such as for production orders for example. In Sales and Distribution, the checking rule is specified internally within the system and cannot be changed.
    4. The checking rule, in conjunction with the checking group, determines the scope of the availability check for every business operation; that is, which stocks, receipts and issues are to be included in the availability check and whether the check is to be carried out with or without the replenishment lead time.
    5. Briefly explaining the above u2013 checking group determines which type of requirement to be passed on to MRP whether it be individual or summarized and checking rule which is at the transaction level and can be configured independently for each application module, determines which stocks, receipts and issues to be taken into account. For performing an availability check checking group has to work in conjunction with checking rule.
    6. Advantages of individual processing over summarized processing u2013
    Backorder processing is possible.
You can access (MD04) order, line and schedule line individually which gives a greater control on available stock and requirements placed on stock.
The system automatically uses individual requirements in case of special stock items.
    7. Required data for the Availability check to be carried out u2013
The Availability check must be switched on at the requirement class level.
The Availability check must be set at the schedule line level.
A requirements type must exist by which the requirements class can be found.
A plant must be defined in the sales order for each schedule line item (in other words plant must be defined for every material in MMR).
A checking group must be defined in the material master record in the MRP3 screen in the availability check field.
    8. Configuring Availability check and defining Checking Groups u2013
Checking groups are introduced into the sales order based on the setting in the material master record.
SAP standard checking groups are 01 u2013 summarized requirements and 02 u2013 individual requirements or you can create your own by copying the standard ones.
Total sales and total deliveries columns are there to configure a checking rule to sum up requirements to post to MRP either individually or by day or week.
Block quantity required can be set if you want several users to be able to process the material simultaneously in different transactions without blocking each other.
The no check indicator is CHECKED when you DO NOT want the system to carry out ATP check.
    9. Defining material block for other users u2013 the block check box is an indicator that enables you to block material master records of a particular material during the availability check and restrict other users from accessing same master record and reserve the material. If the block is not set, two users can confirm the same material at the same time for two different orders, not knowing if the stock is available or not. If you select this field, the material is blocked during the availability check and other users cannot: a) Make changes in the material master record. b) Create purchase orders for the material. C) Create orders for the material.
    10. Defining default values for checking groups - Checking groups are introduced into the sales order based on the setting in the material master record.
However if there is no entry present in the material master record for the checking group, a default value can be set here, depending on material type and plant.
This default value will be used by the system depending on the material type mentioned in MMR and plant in sales order.
If an entry exists, this default value is over written by MMR.
    11. Controlling Availability Check u2013 in this section, you tell the system what stock on hand and what inward and outward movements of stock it must take into account when performing the availability check in addition to whether or not to consider the replenishment lead time.
    12. These settings are based on the checking group that is assigned to the material master record and the checking rule that is predefined and assigned to the sales and distribution transaction.
    13. These settings carry out control both for sales order and delivery as well. This is due to the fact that you may want to include specific stock or incoming stock for the sales order, yet at the time of the delivery only include physical stock on hand waiting to be shipped.
    14. It is possible to indicate to the system that you would like the availability check NOT TO CHECK the stock at the storage location level. This indicator is used to set the scope of the availability check.
    15. It is used to switch off the check at storage location level. You create a reservation for a particular storage location. However, the scope of the availability check is set in such a way as to exclude the storage location. In this case, the system carries out the check at plant level only and does not take the storage location into account that is specified in the reservation.
    16. Should you not want the system to automatically check RLT, you may indicate so here. RLT is the time taken for a material to become available. It is only used when doing an ATP check and is taken from MMR.
    17. Defining the elements in the availability check entirely depends on the business needs, but a few tips are given under u2013
When controlling the Availability check at the time of the sales order, a purchase requisition does not necessarily indicate by it is going to come into the plant.
A shipping notification on the other hand - a confirmed purchase order u2013 is a good indicator of receiving stock on a specified date.
It is always recommended not to select the shipping notifications for the delivery requirements type as you may not actually receive the stock into plant or warehouse for which you are creating a delivery.

  • Error in Availability Check

I am getting the error  in Sales Order - "No control Information maintained for Checking Group (ZP) and Checking rule A"
Actually my checking group is 01 not A. I Have configured Transfer of Requiremenst and Avaialability Check.

    Hi Gurus,
Availabilty Check Configuration ( More Informative )
Types of Availability Check in Sales and Distribution
ProcessingThere are three types of availability check:
It is specified in MMR in MRP3 screen, availability check tab.
    _ Checking Rule
You use the checking rule to control the scope of the availability check for each
transaction in sales and distribution. You also specify whether the check should be
carried out including or excluding replenishment lead time. The individual checking rules
define by transaction, which kinds of stocks and inward - outward movement(receipts and issues) of goods should
be taken into account for the availability check.
The requirements
type refers to the requirements class and its control features. it is assigned to requirement class.
_ The availability check must be switched on at requirements class level and - for theavailability check in the sales documents - at schedule line category level
A requirements type must exist by which the requirements class can be found
_ A plant must be defined. It can either be proposed from the customer or material master
record or can be entered manually in the document._ A checking group must be defined in the material master record on the Sales/plant data
screen in the Availability check field
Configuring entries of the Availability CheckIMGàSDàBasic fncsàAvailability check and TORàAvailability checkàAvailability check with ATP logic or against planningàDefine checking groups
The Block checkbox is an indicator that enables u to block the particular material from being checked for availability if it is already being checked at the same time by another user.Defining the default value for checking groups.
The carry out control for the availability check must be maintained for both the sales order and delivery

  • Availability Check Problem

    Hello Folks
I have a problem in availability check . When i raise a sale order for material A quantity 1500 and when i have 1000 quantity of material A in stock, there are two schedule lines, and on the order creation date there is 0 quantity confirmed even though 1000 quantity of Material A is available. Instead it creates a another schedule line where it confirms wholly the 1500 quantity.
I have a necessity where i need to confirm 1000 material stock on the order creation date, and the rest 500should be confirmed on a later date. Have also checked with the config, i don't find anything wrong, Please advise me or guide me through how to handle this now !!
    Thanks in advance
    Cheers
    Vj

    Hi,
1.If the material is already assigned to existing order, you can not assign it to other order.
2.At the schedule line level, check item availability which will take u to availability overview screen..
There selecet System Proposal push butto which will meet ur requirement..
If u select one time push button, then you'll be getting only one schedule line with the 1000 qty.
If u select full qty push button, then you'll be getting one schedule line with 1000 qty and remaining 500 qty will be in next schedule line date which can also meet ur req.
If u select proposal, system will propose a date which will also meet ur req..
Note that the material should be available at the time of availability check without getting assigned into any order..
Make sure that the customer is allowing partial delivery..
    Hope it'll helpful..
    Thanks & Regards,
    Venkatesh.S.P.
