Availability of "italian" language culture option

Hi to all,
we have many requests from our clients to have all system messages customized in italian language, but there is a set of them that depend on the "culture" setting.
At this moment, the ITALIAN language in the culture settings is not yet available, so we need to know how to get this done.
It would be really important for our commercial dept. to give to our clients the option to get their website completely localized in italian.
Kindly let us know what is the workflow or actions to take to accomplish this.

I currently have RAI Italian language channel. I've heard that Dish Network also has a new Italian package called Mediaset Italia. I'd like to get it as soon as it is available.

I live in Switzerland, Italian part (Canton Ticino). In Switzerland there are four official languages: German, French, Italian, Rumantsch.
In Canton Ticino the official language is Italian.
Why must I read dozen of pages in German or French for every modification of the iTunes terms of use?
Why the iTunes preferences are for German or French language?
Why I cannot choose the Italian language for renting the movies?
Can you add the Italian Language for the iTunes software, please?

ADOBE CS5.5 DESIGN PREMIUM STUDENT-INT H5951Z/A Italian language

this is my first thread and may be I'm placing a stupid question and I apologize in advance.
I ordered Adobe CS5.5 Design Premium STUDENT-INT Code H5951Z/A and I will receive it in few days ( through the Italian Apple Store).
My doubt is related to the language, I'm an Italian Student and I would prefer to use this software by using the Italian Language.
Is the Italian Language available with this version?

Called Apple yesterday and they told me that as far as it has been purchased in Italy there "would" be the Italian language available.
I don't want to appear too difficult on this topic, my concern is that once the Adobe original package will be opened it will be mine, with or without the ITA language.
Maybe the code H5951Z/A tells it but I can't find anything related to it on the web.

Hello everyone. I'm Mattia, I'm italian but I live in France. I would like to buy movies from iTunes in Italian language but I can purchase movies only from iTunes France beacause my credit card works on a french circuit only and it doesn't work on iTunes Italia.
How can I download movies in Italian language from iTunes France? Is there any solution for this?

You can only buy content from your own country's store, so if you are in France then you can only buy from the French store. Some films might have multiple audio tracks on them - what language(s) a particular film is in should be listed on its description page in the store e.g.
If there is a particular film that you'd like the Italian version of then you can try requesting that it be added to the French store, but ultimately it's the film studio that will have to grant Apple a license to sell it there : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

Could I watch movies in Italian language?

I am registered in Australia apple store. What I have to do to watch movies in Italian language?

Unlikely to be available.
The iTunes content has limited audio tracks only (some newer ones have more) generally targetted at the region of the store so unless content lists Italian soundtrack or subtitles you won't be able to via the Australian store.
If you had a valid Italian address and payment method you could potentially set up an Italian itunes Store account but I could not guarantee it would work from Australia.

Italian language for E51

I bought my E51 in Australia so the region is set for Asia/Pacific. The current languages available on the phone are english, indonesian, malaysian, filipino and vietnamese.
I also speak Italian and i am travelling to Italy for three months in July. I want to be able to use the italian language on my phone and have an italian T9 dictionary for SMS etc.
Does anyone know if it is possible to add the italian language onto the phone?
I have tried google and sent an email to Nokia Care but haven't received a reply yet.

Phones are shipped with languages for the regions where there are intended to be sold. You can have languages added at Nokia service, but these will be reset to the phone's original selection if you make a software update.

Puzzled by Language Pack option when configuring system
I am configuring a Thinkpad Edge E520 on the Canadian – English Lenovo online shopping site. I select the English version Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and the French Canadian keyboard.
There is also an option for Language Pack. I can choose between Publication - US English, or Publication – Canadian French
My questions are:
--- What’s the meaning of the word “Publication” in this context?
--- Assuming I want to have an English Windows interface, but use a French keyboard, what will selecting an English of French language pack change in the way I can use my notebook?
--- Will the French language pack allow me to change the Windows interface to French should I eventually want to?
--- Is there any point in selecting the English Language Pack if I already have selected the English version of Windows 7 Home Premium ?
--- Searching the web on this subject, I was under the impression that Language Packs are only available for Windows 7 Ultimate. Is there a special perk here to be able to get another language with Home Premium?

So this Language Pack choice relates to the documentation. That's probably why the word "publication" is in there. So this is a non-issue.
It's not unusual here in Canada to use a french or bilingual keyboard with an english version of Windows (those keyboards are supported in Windows). They make it easier to use special characters such as ç à è é ù that have to be used when writing in french. Canada is a bilingual country.
I could use a french O/S, but all my references are in english, which makes it easier to work with an english O/S.
Actually, the possibility of matching an english O/S with a french keyboard is an additional reason to go with Lenovo. Not all vendors offer this: Toshiba does, but not Dell.

LorettaKallen are you trying to install Adobe Acrobat Standard 11 utilizing the Adobe Application Manager? Do you receive the same error message if you use Internet Explorer or Firefox?

I need a favour from you.
There is a report called RFUMSV00 (in ALV) which we want to run in Italian language. But when we run the program it doesn't show a column HEADING, with logon language italian.
And we have a mini language pack for italy, could that be a issue?
Please help me how to do this.

In our system 4.6c system the headings seem to be correct in italian.

Aperture library not available as desktop or screensaver option

Aperture library is not available as desktop or screensaver option. Nor is it available in Fotomagico. Any ideas?

Go into "System Preferences" -> "Desktop & Screensaver" -> "Desktop"
Scroll down the list on the left. The top categories should be the Apple default desktop images that came with Snow Leopard. Below that you should see iPhoto and it's events, albums, etc. Below that you should see Aperture with your projects listed below that.
Do you at least see the projects listed or does Aperture not even appear? Or is the problem that you aren't able to select any of the images from a project?
If the latter I'm wondering if you're missing previews. You might go into "Aperture" -> "Preferences..." and pick the "Previews" category. Make sure the check boxes are selected for "New projects automatically generate previews" and "Use embedded JPEG from camera when possible" (if your camera shoots in RAW+JPEG mode then it'll use the JPEGs from the camera as the preview instead of building it's own.)
You can force it to update previews but note that since it normally wants to generate previews automatically the 'Update Preview(s)' isn't a global function... it only rebuilds the previews for images you have selected (which means you have to go into each project, select all images, and do a "Photos" -> "Update Previews"
Beyond this, you'd probably need to run Aperture first-aid to determine if there is some corruption in the Aperture library preventing it from being used.

[BUG] Editing contacts with italian language set

This behaviors happens only when WebOS is set to Italian language:
1) when editing an existing contact, it shows up as a blank one, as if I was creating a new contact from scratch. Actually, the contact data is there, but somehow hidden! When changing it (so, actually, writing back from scratch), it does change, but can't see the original contents.
2) When creating a new contact, I can't add a phone number, while I can add other items (email, address, URL, etc). Saving it and then editing it, goes back to point 1. Thus, the only way to save a phone number is dialing it, then saving it from the Phone app.
I have an European GSM Pre, WebOS 1.4.1

First, when you do create a new contact (in Italian), what happens when you try to type in the Phone Number field? Does the cursor appear, or is the field grayed out? Does nothing happen when you tap on the "+ New Phone Number ..." field?
As long as I tap it, the field become dark grey, as it was somehow activated, but when I release my finger it comes back to normal and I can't type in it (no cursor).
Besides that, I can add a new contact. Other fields are working fine, but in the Email address and IM address field, the cursor doesn't appear on the very left (beginning) of the field. It stays almost in the middle, as it's keeping room for a button, and actually if I click on the left, it pops up something like an empty list or menu. Besides this glitch, I can edit those fields.
By the way, the phone number field is the only one that is 2 lines long (in italian). I don't know if this means something, but maybe this screws the interface up.....
Second, what happens if you change your language selection from Italian to English, then try to edit an existing contact? Are you able to see existing text then?
Yes; it works perfectly.
Also, try creating a new contact with your language selection set to English. Are you able to enter a phone number at that point? How about editing a contact created with language set to English while still set to English. Can you see existing data within the contact editing screen?
Yes, everything works fine, as long as english (US) language is set.
Next, switch back to Italian and view the contact created under English. Can you edit existing information without it blanking out?
I can't see the existing information; I can't edit any phone number obviously, because the field can't be activated. If I try to overwrite data by writing on those field that I know they contain data, it doesn't work: name of the contact doesn't change, and editing the email address (ie. writing it back from scratch) adds another address.

IBooks 1.3 on iPod Touch 2G (4.2.1) dictionary not available for this language

I have an iPod Touch 2G, running 4.2.1. I also have iBooks 1.3. Everything is running well, but unfortunately I do not have the built in dictionary for ebooks that I have bought on the iBooks store. I have 14 books from their store, but I am not able to look up definitions of words with the iPod Touch. I also have an iPad 2, but the dictionary works on it (with the same books). Could someone help me with this situation? Or, could someone point me in the right direction. I cannot contact Apple, since my iPod Touch is no longer in warranty. Thank you.

I have the same problem with the same iPod Touch 2G. It keeps saying "Dictionary is not available for this language". Before the update, it was working fine...

How to disable the Language dependent option for 0PROJECT and 0WBS_ELEMT

            Some Info Objects are re installed in latest version that's why DBW and QBW is not sinked. that's why giving transports errors.
           In DBW both Info Objects(0PROJECT and 0WBS_ELEMT) having the option text language dependent is checked. I go for disable that option it is not accepting to disable.
          when i am going to delete the data from both the info objects it's not deleting the data from both the objects. it is giving message some master data is not deleting.
       Please give me solution for this how to disable text language dependent option for both the objects.

Hi Rajesh,
          i did that changes in RSD1 but not accepting that change.
It is showing the error message for The Text Table /BI0/TPROJECT must be converted incompatibly with an activation of characteristic 0PROJECT (changes to the key in the table). Table /BI0/TPROJECT contains data. Parts of this data were lost in the conversion.
Please give me help for solving this issue.
