Availability of the iPad Store for Colombia
Hi,
Recently i purchase an iPad in the US, but i live in Colombia. Right now i need to purchase the iwork suit for my iPad but as i understand it is not possible to do so because the iPad Store is not ye available for Colombia. I need to know when it will be available o if there's another way for me to buy iWork for iPad.

La mejor forma es comprar una tarjeta de itunes del apple store y asi puedes comprar las aplicaciones para el ipad. Otra opcion es tener una direccion en USA y abrir una nueva cuenta de itunes para poder comprar todo lo que hay aca desde alla; pero la opcion de la tarjeta de itunes es buena y conozco personas que la ulitizan para comprar cosas en otros paises donde no hay itunes store. Quien sabe si habra o cuando estara disponible un itunes store para Sur America-Colombia

Based on last time, I would say it's a few months away yet. Yes, you should care about the difficulty of adding stuff to it (although with PSE 11 that got better for things like actions and layer styles), but more than that you should be aware that you are going to get locked out in short order if you ever need to reinstall. When adobe releases a new version of PSE in the app store, you lose the option to download your existing version again. So when PSE 11/app store came out, PSE 10/app store disappeared from the available purchases section for those who had bought it.
Another major point is that you can't update the raw converter for the app store version (well, you can, but it's major surgery, not a simple menu choice), so if you buy a new camera, you have a problem.
It's just not a good deal--you pay a lot more to get a lot less. -

I am extremely upset. I purchased my iPad in SA and now I am in Greece. I cannot download free apps as I get a message that the apps are not available in the SA store and only in US stores. When I change to the US store the same thing happens. What is the point of having an iPad if I cannot use it worldwide??? I feel that I wasted my money purchasing it as I specifically purchased it to use when I travel. How can I get access to all the available apps and why are they restricted.
You can use your iPad worldwide. However, each AppleID is tied to
a specific country's store. To use the AppStore in any country, you
must be in that country and have a credit/debit card issued by a financial
institution in that country with a verified billing address in that country.
It is the developer's choice which AppStores he makes his app available
from, and some countries prohibit certain apps.
To make a purchase from the US store (including downloading a free app
available in the US store), you must be in the US and have card issued
in the US with verified billing address in the US.
You can use your purchases from the SA store worldwide, but you
cannot make purchases in other than the SA store unless you meet
the aforesaid conditions. -
I have purchased a ringtone in the iTunes Store for my iPad, and I cannot find the download together with my music. I have received the invoice but I have no product. I am working with iOS6, if that helps. Can anybody help me?
I am confused. Do you mean you found the music, not the tones, or you can't find either?
If the former, then this is normal. You can't redownload tones from the Cloud. -

If it's no longer in the store then you won't be able to re-download it - do you have a copy of it on your computer's iTunes (or on a backup) that you could sync back to your phone ?

I've upgraded to Yosemite. Iphoto is out of date and won't open. I'm being directed to the app store for a free upgrade but there is nothing there. being told 'upgrade is not available in the US'
iPhoto is no longer available from the Mac App Store. Update to 10.10.3 and use Photos.

I need an iPad app web browser that will emulate internet explorer as my MLS real estate system uses only internet explorer. Why does Atomic no longer sell the full verison. What web browser can I use?
Probably none. It's very possible that the reason the MLS required Internet Explorer is that they use technologies (such as Active-X) that are proprietary to Microsoft and so would not be available from the iPad even if a browser will report itself as being Internet Explorer.
You can try iCab Mobile, though, and see if it will work for you:

It has the ability to identify itself as other browsers, so if the site is only blocking other browsers and not depending on IE's technology, iCab might work. There could be problems, though, even if the site lets you in.

Try Amazon but look for the iWork suite of software. It's only sold separately as Pages, Keynote, and Numbers from the App Store.

Will the app Mozilla fire fox be available in the App Store so we can open flash player required pages ?
No one here can say really, only Mozzilla themselves if and when they give in to Apple's requirements, or Apple gives in to their demand of using their web engine rather than Apple's.
With that said, the Flash problem is not the browser its the lack of a Mobile version of Flash for iOS. Even with FF you would not be able to open flash sites.
There are however other browsers with varying support for Flash processing that you can use to open flash content.
Look for Puffin, Skyfire, Photon etc...
Most of these process the requested flash content at their servers and feed it back to the device in a format that the iPad can understand, which slows performance a bit. -

The iPad 1 will NOT be upgraded to iOS 6, but check the article below for instructions on installing older versions of Apps.
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app -
When updates are available in the ipad app store, I click on install and under the app a WAITING message appears. No installation is done and the message does not disappear. I have tried hard and soft resets without success. The ipad (1st gen) runs under iOS 5.0.1. I now have 5 apps waiting for installation of updates.
You can also finish the downloads in iTunes on your computer and then sync the updates to the iPad. From the iTunes menu on your computer go to Store>Check for Available Downloads.

Thanks! For whatever bizarre reason for which I have no answer - I sync'd my iPad to my MBP the old fashion way (not iCloud) and the movie showed up just fine. It is Nikon camera 'how to' video. I like to watch them for a better indepth discovery of what the camera can do. The only weird thing about the hard wire sync is that it was placed in a catagory "home movies" which was never there before...actually it showed up in two places "home movies" and TV shows.

I have a podcast that has been submitted to itunes a few years back that has been working just fine. The person updating it broke it a few months back, I have fixed the error and reformatted it but the podcast still doesn't work. If I go in itunes and choose to open stream and connect to the podcast URL there, then it works just fine, but If I search for it in the itunes store (search: Jubilee Community Church) then a couple of the episodes show up (see The Art of Marriage by Stephen van Rhyn) but if I click on any of them it just tells me that my podcast is not available in the current store. But I submitted it from the UK store and it is not even available on that store. I have send numerous emails to Apple Support but they have been incredibly unhelpful. I hoped it would update overtime and start working again but its been a month and still nothing, I can't get hold of anyone technical from itunes support to reload my podcast or tell me whats wrong, I can't even resubmit my podcast because it's already been submitted and therefore won't allow me too. I've run out of options, any help would be appreciated!
A 4th gen iPod can not be upgraded to iOS 8. 7.0.2 is the high version it can run.
