Availability of Win 10 Drivers for *Current* and *New* Systems
I was wondering if there is any timeframe for posting Windows 10 drives for *Current* and *New* Systems. I notice that there are only like 3 drivers posted so far for the X360 laptops. Even the brand new models which come with Windows 10 preinstalled still have only a smattering of drivers posted. Obviously the drivers exist since the system ships with them installed, why can't they be posted for download? I can understand driver availability taking some time for systems that didn't ship with Win 10, but for those systems that ship with Win 10 already loaded shouldn't those drivers be available to your customers on the the very first day of product shipment? In case you are wondering why it matters if it comes preinstalled already, it's because I plan on doing new, clean install of Win 10 Professional. Your systems are shipping with the Home edition. I have an X360 that is still being sold and shipping with 8.1. I would walk into Best Buy today and buy another one that comes with Windows 10, but won't do that until drivers are available so I can do a clean install. Thanks.

After replacing a failed internal hard drive on my HP Pavillion dv2500 laptop, I installed a new Win 7 operating system rather than the Vista software that came on the computer. After installing Windows 7 using a CD/DVD and a few other CD/DVD-based programs, my CD/DVD is no longer working. It's now missing the device driver. Searching HP Laptop Drivers, I find a replacement driver for all operating systems except for Win7!

NVidia provided updated drivers for the graphics chip that installed fine.

Basically we had a new motherboard fitted, we then found our CD/DVD drive had not been reconnected. After this has been done, when we try to burn a cd from itunes, we get the following message:-

I've removed and reinstalled itunes a few times now and we still have the same issue. HELP please.I'd start with the following document, with one modification. iTunes for Windows: "Registry settings" warning when opening iTunes -
Everytime I connect my iPod Touch (4th Gen) to my laptop, running Win 7 (64 bit) I get the message "The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes" I have reinstalled iTunes several times and it has not fixed the issue. I am running ver 10.2.2.12 of iTunes. I HAVE NOT installed any other burning software to my laptop either. I haven't tried uninstalling iTunes and then re-installing it yet. Would that perhaps fix the problem? I've read that many users have had issues with the new version of the software and I was wondering if that might be causing my issue. I'd like to point out that iTunes seems to work after getting rid of the message, but I haven't tried to burn any CDs or put music from a CD to my laptop. Any ideas on how to get rid of the annoying message?
I also am having trouble hooking up with our other computers using Homegroup. I noticed quite a lot of people are having the same issue and hopefully they come up with a fix for that soon.
Thanks in advance.I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

If you're still getting the error message (especially when you plug in the Touch), I'd check for a device filter confusion on the PC. (They can affect the connection of USB devices to a PC, as well as burning and importing CDs.) For that one, see:

I hate to say this about E-MU but the way they are dealing with Vista Drivers is unprofessional. I am a repeat customer of Creative products and was so impressed by my old Platinum eX that I bought a second to run duals for tons of audio processing. That was back in the day. Then I jumpped ship and tried out an M-Audio Firewire 40. That did not last too long beforei was completely unimpressed. So I came back to Creative... Purchased a 820 in the box. So impressed I turned around and purchased a 66 in the box just 8 months later. Both ran smooth as butter... All until i just recently built my new system designed primarily with audio production in mind.
With a setup like this, who needs a mac?
AMD Athlon X2 x64 Dual Core +6000 3.0 Ghz
2 Gigs Corsair
Samsung SyncMaster 206BW 2" Wide Screen
EVGA NVidia 9700s 256 DDR3 Graphics
SATAs up the yin
and a PCIMIA to PCI Dock
All under Vista Ultimate OEM
And Guess what?
Months into RTM of Vista...
E-MU is caught pushing release dates.
Last month it said they would release beta drivers middle of April...
I waited, patiently I might add.
I waited<waited some more, I try running xp drivers... computer wont even try to install them properly.
My software waits, computer waits, turns into a gameing machine just because my all together 600 dollar investments in Creative are not important enough to leld me the drivers i need to be producti've in what i love.
I need x64 drivers stat. I need them working, I need them installable without a glitch, a hitch, no driver signing problems, no questions, no fuss no muss. I find it ironic that you guys at E-MU are willing to jump right in there and make sure to have drivers compatable for you new products, yet faithful advocats of the most powerful soundcards you have are sitting here dead in the water because you dont find it nessesary to place priority on ready and waiting end users who have purchased long term support buy investing large amounts of moola into hardware from your company.
Come on, its not like the 820 or the 66 are exactly legacy technology. We are talking about Hardware that is only two years old and should be usable for up to 6 years. This is deffinatly a strike against the company and just goes to show where Creative stands.
I have stood by waiting in silence for a very long time.
Now i think my time has come to tell how i feel and i believe there are alot of others out there that feel the same. the only items that do not work soothly are my E-MUs... go figure.
And I have been looking forward to all i can do running both of them side by side.
Oh yes, and that link posted above to the beta news for vista... its a joke. open up your betas, and have a real dev tell us what the hang ups are... At least give us real concreate reasons why it is taking so long.
with that said, when you guys get yoru act together and get me some drivers, I will sit happy as a lark.
My thoughts for today.
~Alpha-Beta ReaKKtorHello Silas,
sorry for my bad english
I already checked that page. On the first time I was trying to install Vista on a clean hard drive. The installation process finishes without errors but after installation Vista shows me a lot of error messages, mostly about unknown hardware. So I installed all available drivers I have found on Toshiba web site. It not helped me too much, hardware problems still remains. I could not find out what exactly causes probles. Finally I decide to install XP and then upgrade to Vista. Now everything seems to be ok. :D
There was some hardware problems but much easier to resolve. It seems to me that Toshiba did not provide all the drivers, for example StarForce Protection drivers. Vista did not recognized this hardware on the first time.
Now it works! -
When I attempt to log on to I tunes I get the following message:
"The registry settings used by the I Tunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing.
This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please re-install I Tunes."
To my knowledge no new software has been installed. I have tried un-installing and re-installing I Tunes but I still
get the same message.
Can anyone offer any suggestions? Do I need to download a new driver?
Bill MartinI can get down as far as step 11 but it shows nothing about upper filters and when I type on "If the Upper Filters entry is missing follow these instructions" nothing happens
Do you mean you can't see the instructions on what to do if there is no UpperFilters entry?
If so, here's the relevant instructions for that step:
On the right side of the Registry Editor window, right-click the UpperFilters entry and choose Modify from the shortcut menu.
Right-click the empty white space within the right-hand portion of the Registry Editor window. From the shortcut menu, choose New > Multi-String Value.
Name this new value "UpperFilters" (without the quotes). Then, right-click the newly created UpperFilters entry and choose Modify from the shortcut menu. -
when i start up i tunes i get the message,"The registry settings used by the i Tunes drivers for importing and burning CD's and DVD's are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall i Tunes." I tried reinstalling and still get the same message. when I ran the i Tunes diagnostics is says that the high and low filters are missing.
when i was having trouble with my optical drive(before Dell sent me a new one) the dell tech support representative had me delete some reg. files to try to fix the problem. I was told this would not affect the new drive when i install it or any of my existing programs. here is what he had me do....

Report that display 'Net Pay' by Empl for current and previous period.
Hi,
We are looking for a SAP report that display 'Net Pay' by Employee for current and previous period in USA payroll module. If you know of any, pl let me know.
Thanks in advance,
NiranjanThanks Archana and Sikindar.
We knew about this report, however, it gives information one below the other if we run, say for 2 periods, but what we are looking for is something as shown in example below
Empl # Empl # Name Prev Pay period Net Pay Current Pay period net pay.
123 XYZ $ 1200.00 $ 1200.00
256 ABC $ 2000.00 $ 3000.00
We want to run for 2 periods at a time and get the results as above. That way, payroll dept can run this report and compare if we are paying too much in current pay, compared to previous pay. This is basically to avoid any typos when they create new pay records in infotype 0008.

ITunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing
Hi,
I recently switched from a relatively small drive to a much larger one and had the larger drive taking image of the older drive. All of my older programs are now back up to working but I can still can't burn a CD.
I get the following error message "the registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CDs and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes."
I have reinstalled iTunes a few times and have done soft and hard reboots but still no luck. Any ideas on the simplest way to resolve this matter?
Thank you

why isn't there yet an available p2p embeded code for voip and video conference in Firefox??
So, the upload time will vary on internet connection. If there is an issue with how fast it is uploaded you can check if prefetching is turned on, but this does not really affect uploading [https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Controlling_DNS_prefetching Controlling DNS prefetching]

Please Help! Problem Burning CD's with iTunes 8!?
I downloaded iTunes 8 a few days ago. I think something went wrong, and it was taking a long time, so I canceled it, but it was nearly finished. When I opened iTunes, everything was fine, and all the new stuff (Genius and whatever else) was there, but this message came up:
Warning! The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CD's and DVDs are missing. This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall iTunes.
So, I went to the Apple website and clicked "download iTunes 8", and a box came up that asked me if I wanted to repair iTunes, or do something else. Obviously it knew I had already downloaded it, so I clicked "Repair". It ran, and it said everything worked. Then I clicked on iTunes, hoping the burning would work. The same message came up as before. When I tried to burn a CD, a similar message came up. WHAT DO I DO? Thank you. Here is the solution!
Go to this website: http://www.gearsoftware.com/support/drivers.php
Download the proper driver and install.
I am running Vista. I had two, actually three problems. First was that for some reason, my CD/DVD drive disappeared. I found that the solution to this was to delete the LowerFilters and UpperFilters strings in the registry. That worked and I got my CD drive back. However, I then got that pesky error message from iTunes. That was the second problem. The third problem was that I could no longer burn CD's of my playlists from iTunes and it said that the "disc burner or software was missing." Going online, I discovered that I was not the only one experiencing these three problems.
I happened to find the solution about the Gear drivers at http://www.pcdoctor-guide.com/wordpress/?p=2726. Installing the x32_x64 driver, of course, worked for me since I'm running a PC laptop. This took care of all three problems for me.
If you notice, the other post about editing the registry makes reference to the Gear ASPI driver. Gear is the one (as you would read on the first link) that provides the drivers for software to burn CD's. -

Media based deployment for Refresh and New Computer
Hi ,
I am looking for some pointers for using media based deployment for refresh scenario (xp to Win 7 with USMT) and new computer deployment (without OS).
Setup we have is Configuration manager 2012 R2 integrated with MDT 2013.
I need some pointers on below:
- Since its winxp to win 7 and its boot images that comes with (ADK 8.1) confi. manager 2012 R2 doesn't support it. Article says we need WINPE 3.1 for such scenario. Since its MDT 2013 (again ADK 8.1 boot images only), how do generate WinPE 3.x for
MDT based boot image?
- Since it is going to be 2 deployment scenarios, do i need to have 2 separate TS (one for new computer and 2nd for USMT based deployment for refresh scenaro) or is there anyway to manage both scenarios with 1 TS?
- If we need to have 2 TS, do we need to have 2 media created or 1 media can have both TS (like in MDT we have selectionprofile with multiple TS and then media created including both TS)
Looking for some options to deal such scenario. Thanks
