Availability, registry key exists, dword value not working

Trying to deploy some updates based on a version number in a registry
key. Unfortunately the test is failing regardless of what I set it to.
For example, if my registry key is 14 (0x0000000e) and I set the
application requirement for the key and value to exists and to be less
than 16 (0x00000010), it still fails the check. ZDM 7 SP1 IR4 Netware
6.5 SP8.

Having now read that, can I say... wow.. In 2 IR's they haven't fixed
something that they broke which is a significant piece of functionality?
Especially if this is just a snapins issue? The workaround is to use
an unsupported setup Just my 2 cents. I get the ugly feeling that this
will never be fixed and the "official solution" will be to migrate to
ZCM. Maybe you could light a fire under someones rear to move that up
in the fix list...
That does explain it however as I know I had used it in the past and
I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong.

Short key for copy does not work all the time now.

After I have installed the latest OSX - Yosemite, my short key for copy does not work all the time. It is infrequent how it works. I'm using the same keyboard that I have always used, my wireless logitech keyboard for mac. Please help.

I've plugged in my default mac keyboard and the short key copy still does not work.

Few days back my laptop( HP Pavilion G6) screen got froze(Laptop starting but no display, caps key blinking 3 times) so i checked on internet and come to know its may be because of error in memory module. So i put my RAM in other slot. Now my laptop started but a new issue occured.
Now my caps, B,N ,Del keys in keyboard is not working. I am using Windows 7(64 bit)

Please find the steps given below might help you to fix your issue.
Go to device manager & uninstall the keyboard driver and restart the unit.
Please update the driver for Bios.
Try doing a system restore to the date where unit was working fine.
Open command prompt type the letter and check if does not work you might have to replace the keyboard itself.
Let us know how it goes!

Have a similar problem. This MacBook opened all MS Office programs in Dec2012 but no longer does in Feb2013. Went to Microsoft/mac/downloads but none of the three updates would run citing a problem "version of software needed to run this update was not found on this volume".

Some keys don't work as expected
From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
From the View menu, choose Speech.
Click the Text to Speech tab.
If "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" is enabled, the key or key combination set to speak text cannot be used for other purposes or used to type text--click Set Key and change it to a less-commonly used key combination (try to use modifier keys such as Shift, Command, Option, and Control). Or, disable the "Speak selected text when the key is pressed" option.
Click the Universal Access pane in System Preferences, click the Keyboard tab.
Make sure that Slow Keys is turned off. With Slow Keys on, you need to press a key for a longer period of time for it to be recognized.
In the Universal Access pane, click the Mouse tab, and make sureMouse Keys is turned off. With Mouse Keys enabled, you cannot use the Numeric Keypad to enter numbers--instead the keypad moves the pointer (cursor). (There is an option to enable Mouse Keys with five presses of the Option key; you may want to turn that option off to avoid accidentally enabling it.) If the issue persists, use Keyboard Viewer to help isolate the issue:

Hi, thanks for tying to solw my problem. I found that I have set up 3 defferent keys to start defferent programs. I have assigned capitol "c" for start a gmail massege, "r" dose not do anything, and shift plus "g" also starts the gmail to creat masege.
I just do not remember where I did it in sys window I tried all the icons and no luck.
If you would know where to find the coresponding program to change it back please let me know.

OEM key for Win7 Pro not working on Win10

Upgraded a Windows 7 Pro computer(OEM-licensed) with Windows 10 Pro but the OEM license key(on the Microsoft sticker) does not work. The upgrade was a clean install from a USB-stick. Anyone who has the same problem?

License Key from Cisco is NOT Working.

Device: Cisco Wireless Controller 2504 (AIR-CT2504-K9)
We had purchased an Access Point Upgrade License for our Wireless Controller and when I try to upload the key to the WLC, I get a message that there were no valid Licenses found. We purchased the License from our 3rd party Cisco provider and our Rep had sent me 2 PAK numbers the other day for the Licenses. So I went on Cisco's site and entered the PAK Numbers (*there were 2 PAK Numbers) and after I entered both of those the SKUs that came up were: L-LIC-CT2504-UPG and L-LIC-CT2504-1A.
So I chose to download the License files and when I did I received a ZIP file containing one html file with instructions and one .lic file containing the License.
Here is what I see when I try:
        (Cisco Controller) > license install tftp://192.168.x.xxx/Cisco_WLC2504_Licenses/license_file_name.lic
        Transfering licenses from tftp://192.168.x.xxx/Cisco_WLC2504_Licenses/license_file_name.lic
        License installation: No valid license found to be installed
Anyone know why I would be receiving this error? I tried uploading to the WLC from both the Web Interface and the CLI with the same result.
I also tried having them email me the .lic file instead but I get the same thing when I try to upload it.
Any ideas?

We had received an Access Point from our Cisco VAR partner and also ordered the License so we could add a 6th AP to the WLC. When we received the AP in the Mail the License was not with it so we emailed our acct rep and asked him for it, which is when they had me run the "show udi" command in order to give them the Serial Number so they could get me the PAK number. Which is I assume what you were talking about with the UDI (Unique Device Identifier)?
The License file itself contains the correct serial number, which is why I'm confused as to why it's not working. We don't have a SmartNet for this device so one of our Techs through our Cisco Var partner is contacting their Cisco Account Rep to find out what's going on. I guess I'll just wait till I hear back from them, and we'll see what they say. I even tried doing the Get Existing option on Cisco.com for the Product License Registration section of the site, which also did not work.
The strange thing is, when I did the Get Existing option and I downloaded the License file again, the Filename was different then it was the first time around... Not sure if this is normal or not, but I just thought that was strange.

2760p keys 123 and 890 not working

user says that the keys have stopped working all of a sudden. the keys that do not work are 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, and 0. I replaced the keyboard with a new one that was tested and working fine. the problem still exists. the ribbon cables and connections are made properly. all other keys work. Please help with what to check next. BIOS? motherboard?

VBScript, check to see if registry keys exist before running script

I am trying to run the following script in my environment and want to ensure that once it's run once and the registry keys are in place, it does not execute again/ run again as this causes issues. I am going

this will help to read computer names from c:\computerlist.txt and connect to each computer and check if the registry exists or not. you need to make sure you run with user that has access to all the computer. this script only checks if the regkey exists
or not. you will have to include logic from your script as to what actually should happen when registry key not found. as always please use this as example and use it at your own risk.

Control key (^) combined shortcuts does not work on mac book pro

All shortcut combinations with the control key (^) do not work. I´m using Mac Book Pro 13 (late 2013) with Os X Mavericks 10.9.4

The Logic Board is the Main system board. In the Windows world better known as the Motherboard. Except with Apple Mac computers the CPU and the GPU are Soldered to the logic board and if it is a Retina screen model the RAM is also Soldered to it.
So replacing the Logic board is like replacing the compete system and costs accordingly.
But there isn't much else you can do if you can't get that switch unstuck. Or just go without sound from the built in speakers. They aren't that good anyway.
