Available Retraction from BPC to ECC

Hi Friends !
I would like to know how many available retractors are possible from BPC to ECC:
1) Fund Management - BPC to BI & then Standard Tcode in ECC
2) PCA - Only possible for flat file upload
Is there any more retractors? any presentation available?

I assume you're posting budget to ECC-FM.
Set your BPC config so that the InfoCubes and InfoObjects don't change every time you optimize
Build a BEx query on the cube containing your data
Use the standard retractor on the ECC side (there are three parts: field assignment, budget derivation strategy, actually running the FM_CYCOPIBW program)

HI Experts,
We are integrating BW-BPC.
The client wants to Retract the data from BPC to ECC System for reporting purposes.
u201CIn order to be able to calculate standard costs correctly in production plants planning data from BPC is needed in SAP ECC.
The data needed is the planning data on cost centers which are currently entered into SAP manually via transaction KP06. This data will now be entered into BPC instead and therefore it is required to get an interface between BPC and SAP ECC for transferring data.
A description of the process and the data needed is available in the section u201CSAP ECC Screen Dumpu201D sectionu201D including screen dumps from ECC
If this interface is not created the task of entering in the planning data will double as the data must be entered both in BPC and SAP ECC. The process of entering in the data twice I estimate will add 1 u2013 2 extra days of work for each subsidiary involved in this.u201D
What is the options to support this Business Process of getting data from BPC to SAP ECC.

Getting empty values for Quantity and UOM in CCA Retraction from BW to ECC

We are retracting the Project data from BW to ECC following the
SAP Network Bolg : BPS Retraction for Cost Center Accounting by Praveen Mayalur.
I am using the following settings:

In the UPBR_Rule we have put 0AMOCC and 0QUANTITY in the Formula.
After successful completion of retraction, we were able to get all the values to ECC except Quantity and Unit Of Measure.
Please let me know if any other settings are to be made.

How to create Drill through's from BPC to ECC and BEX

Hi Harini,
Your Drill through functionality is linked to an on line search website, giving you all necessary information.
During reporting, you need to have more information about selected region.
Before performing or using the Drill-Through feature, ensure that the following prerequisites have been met
        1. You are logged on to any BPC Environment with administration authorizations
        2. From home screen, Switch to the administration area by clicking planning and consolidation                          Administration link
Inside admin area you find Drill through maintainace in the content tree under the features node.
After opening the Drill through click on New button,
    There we need to enter Id, Decription, URL and model name.
If you want do Drill- through from BEx query first you need to publish the query to portal. see below I mention the procedure for publishing a query in the portal.
BEx Query Designer: In the menu bar, choose Query → Publish → To the Portal. See Functions in the Menu Query.
BEx Web Application Designer: In the menu bar, choose Web Template → Publish → To the Portal. See Functions in the Menu Query.
BEx Report Designer: In the menu bar, choose Report → Publish → To the Portal. See Functions in the Menu Query.
After posting to portal copy that link paste in the URL address in the drill through.
In the parameter mapping add infoobjects technical names under parameters and Dimensions names under Dimension or user defined values and maintain the which property you want map mention under the property values.
And the save the query and go to the excel and you have an option in the excel ribbon Drill Through and click on that, you will get the query which you are posted in the portal.

Availability Check from CRM using ECC / Assembly Order

Hi,
we're using an ATP Check from ECC to CRM 5.0. As described in the SAP Notes, assembly orders are not supported in this ATP scenario.
Does anybody have experience to overcome this (without implementing APO or creating the orders directly in ECC)? Any enhancements / work arounds?

Hello Anke,
you cannot have both, ATP check in CRM during order change/creation and in ERP when the order gets replicated to ERP-SD.
But when there is no ATP check used in the CRM at all (for the current item category), and the order gets saved in CRM and replicated to ERP, during this replication and order creation in the ERP-SD the regular ATP check in the SD order can run as usual, of course.
This means the scenario can be setup without ATP check in the CRM, but having assembly as usual in ERP-SD. Only the immediate information about the confirmed dates/quantities from the assembly order would be missing in the CRM order.

Error KBAPI 002 in BAdi Retraction BPC to ECC

Hello experts,
We are using the BAdi for retraction to ECC but the information is not showing in the report it should be. We were debugging and we found an ERROR:
KBAPI 0002 , The message says "Transfer a CO oobject". We do have a Cost Center that is sendig from BPC to ECC. What is this error related with?
How can I fix this to get the data in ECC.

I was checking the BAdi document and checked step by step, because in DEV environment the everything worked but in QA it didn't. I fount out that this error is caused by not maintaining the COST CENTER dimension with the property ERP_CostCtr.
the problem got solved.

It depends on what sort of data you are going to retract. The easiest process is find the required BAPI which is going to load the data to ECC system through a RFC connection.
Once you know the BAPI, you just have to call it inside the BPC BADI ( like UJD_RETRACT or UJ_CUSTOM_LOGIC).

Retract data from BPC 10.0 to ECC

Hi All,
We are attempting to retract data from netweaver BPC 10.0 to ECC. We have followed the how to guide (How To... Retract data from BPC 7.5 NetWeaver to SAP ERP Cost Center Accounting,) which details steps for version 7.5.
We have attempted to implement the transport in the appendix of this guide which implements class ZCL_BPC_RTRCT_SUPERCLASS. This transport fails as it is missing method GET_APPL_DATA. Has anyone had any experience with this class in 10.0, or even 7.5? Alternatively, does anyone have guidliness for implementing retractionto ECC in BPC 10.0?

2)What's a better choice => Can i do this from an infocube or a DSO?
3)And what is the role of the BAPI's "BAPI_0050_CREATION" and "BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT"

The push principle shows a workaround to start an extractor from the source system.... for this you can try APDs (esp for CRM system)and open hub destinations(OH).

We are looking for customers who can share infomation that have successfully built automated data retractors from BPC 7.5 to ECC 6.0.
There is one whitepaper titled "How to... Retract data from BPC 7.5 NetWeaver to SAP ERP Cost Center Accounting, Part I" posted back in July of 2010?

This document is a template that has some assumptions built into it for it to work. I know customers will have different requirements, but I would like any comments from anyone who is "Live" with this. How long it took to develop and any issues that you encountered? How often do you run the retractor?
We are also looking at moving parts of the budget in BPC back into Cost Based PA. Can anyone share their experience in creating this retractor (interface) as well?

I have the requirement to retract data from BPC 10.0 to General Ledger.
What is the best practice for doing this?
I have read the "How To... Retract data from BPC 7.5 NetWeaver to SAP ERP Cost Center Accounting, Part I", but this is prepared to transfer data to Cost Center accounting. Will General Ledger be populated automatically?

The File explains how to retract Data on a Cost center level and Im doing it on a profit center level.
Can any tell me how I can debug the BAdI?

Look at the LT_RETURN variable on the call function 'BAPI_COSTACTPLN_POSTPRIMCOST'.
My problem was no authorization to modify cost planning on ECC...

Try infinite loop in End routine of your logic as follows.
data: v_val(1) value ''.
DO.
if v_val = 'X'.
exit.
endif.
ENDDO.
Save and activate the method.
Run your package from BPC Excel and login into back end goto Tcode SM50. You can find a job there which is in running mode.
Select the process, Goto menu options select Program/Session-->Program -->Debugging.
Once system opens debugging session change v_val to X and proceed to debug of your logic.

Retraction of Budget from BW to ECC

Hello,
We have a request from the FI/CO folks to retract Budget Information from BW into ECC in order for them to create reports of Budget vs Actuals.
1. Does anyone have an opinion on if this is the best practice?
2. Would it make more sense to create a realtime extractor into BW and join the data there with Budget info? Then expose this information to Business Objects via Bex Query for the users to create reports with?
3. Has anyone done this retraction before and have a link to some good information on what it will take to accomplish this task?

UPLOAD OF EMPLOYEE BP FROM CRM TO ECC

Hi all,
Is it possible to upload Employee Business Partners from CRM to ECC system.
as per client business process we create Employee Business Partners in CRM system and they need to upload in to ECC system.
I have worked on downloading of Employees data from ECC to CRM using ALE IDOC.
Please suggest whether it is feasible or not? If standard solution is available kindly let me know.

The common practice is to download "Employee" from ECC to CRM thru ALE IDOC ,
But you can also take another approach :
1) Create employee as business partner in role "BUP003" "employee" in SAP CRM .
you can create manually or you can use BP upload program in CRM.
2) You need to configure "internal number range " for business partner "emplyee " in CRM , and "External " in ECC Backend
3) set up middleware for replication of BP from CRM to ECC .
4) Business partners - EMPLOYEES create in CRM will be replicated to ECC as Business partner ( and not as HR employee )

We are implementing SRM 7.0 EHP1 and we have a SRM-SUS scenario.
We have a requirement where we want to replicate the vendors from SRM to ECC.
I know that there are standard programs and interfaces for replicating vendors from ECC to SRM, but are there any standard programs XI/PI interfaces that are available for replicating vendores from SRM to ECC?

Unfortunately I don't have a config guide for it. Can you speak to your XI/PI consultant and just ask him to configure this scenario in XI/PI.
PS: Before this you should import all SRM related business content in your PI system.
