5) And i see: Status = 76 % .... And this 76% i see and yestaday and at this morning..
6) check this update again
7) Action
8) Cancel Download
9) Status = Canceling
10) WAIT 4h !!!
11) Status again = Canceling ;(
12) check this update again
13) Action
14) Delete update
15) I see RED Error Attantion:
Error: Unable to delete Update for ZCM (10.3.1). This update is in the process of being canceled. Please wait until the update cancels and then delete the update.
Any body can help me ?

  • How to Clear System Update Status

    ThinkVantage System Update is repeatedly downloading and installing the ThinkPad Hotkey Integration Package. It tells me I have V 3.10.0000 installed and that the new version is V 3.11.0001. I allow it to install, but when I run TVSU again, it offers the same update. I've tried deferring the install and then installing offline, but nothing seems to work.
    I've seen this issue with Windows updates and I know how to resolve it, but this is something completely different. Any ideas would be appreciated.

  • Lack of 3g after system update

    Hello :-)
    It's problem with Xperia E dual
    Few days ago I updated the system to the 4.1.1 version (compilation 11.3.A.1.39).
    Unfortunatelly after updating I've discovered that smartphone don't works with 3G. On the display I've only icon "E". Before updating there was typically "H". Of course now the transfer is slower than before and of course I'm not happy of that.
    I try to solve this problem - choose in menu list of available provider and... there are only 2G nets. Because I've functioning still in the same place of live and the problem has occured after the updating I'm sure that it's strictly connected.
    Is there any solution for that?
    Another problem is with trying to call. After system updating typically twice a day I have to restart smartphone because it's totally hanged. No one can connect with me and I can't call to anybody. Smartphone looks normally and doesn't give any siglan that something is wrong. But when I try to connect to somebody I direst the number and... there is no signal at all. After few seconds telephon return to main menu. There is also no record about this trial of connection in the list of done connections. It's very uncomfortable situation.
    Sure, there are also some adventages with the system updating but problems mentioned above are really annoing.
    Have you any solutions for it?

    Be aware that this will erase phone data completely, backup if necessary.
    Before proceeding with software repair, confirm with your Network Operator that there is nothing wrong with the network. Also, remove and reinsert SIM card and try again (have a close look at the contact surface, ensure that it is relatively clean).

  • ThinkVantage System Update 5.02 problem -- System Update hangs or freezes when installing KB updates

    Often after installing a KB update, System Update will restart the computer and then resume processing to install the next downloaded KB update.  However, after restarting, it always freezes or hangs part way through the next KB install.  After waiting 5 or 10 minutes, I click on "cancel."   System Update acknowledges cancellation but nothing happens, and when I eventually give up and select "End task" in Windows Task Manager, I am informed that "This program is not responding."
    Clearly this is a bug, perhaps arising from an license consent dialog box that fails to pop-up.  I have resorted to downloading and installing these KB updates one-by-one after a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit on my T400 model 2764CTO.    Service Pack 1 is installed and Microsoft.NET Framework 3.51, which satisfies Lenovo's requirements.  I am running BIOS 3.11 and plan to update it, but would like to solve this problem first, as I would hate to experience a freeze during a BIOS update!
    Anyone else having this problem, or any solutions?

    KB are offered by microsoft, not Lenovo/su.  Under a rare condition, SU will offer as KB.  A known instance, where microsoft offers HOTFIX, but not for monthly update distribution.  Lenovo has their version of this KB. Probably this HOTFIX fixes a problem in Lenovo land driver that needs the hotfix.
    I am amazed at how many KB fixes show up for your machine!!!

    Always update your BIOS 1st, the Net frame (v4?). Then try the update land.

    Dont BIOS update during a rain storm. or power fauilure.  Always use a ISO (cd) version of this.  Download/burn this version  in case.  Then use the other version, Update from windows. (you now have a backup).
    Please research your hardware install guide, as too how to RESET BIOS eeprom.  Get tweezers, change the jump prom clip. BIOS flash from 0. Jump prom clip back.   Is this scary, yesl jumper is on mother board.

    Plastic jumper is 34 56. Change to 1234, and you reload a bios from blank. You can enter UUID, serial number and fun stuff.
    Do not loose the plastic jumper. Turn the a/c off. Have reading glasses.  But this is the solution to what if BIOS update freezes.  Also have a ISO backup of the previous  release  of BIOS on CD.

    The job would have ben manually cancelled by the user.
    It can also be some shortdump,check ST22
    Else could be due to communication failures.
    Connection problem.
    To check for the connection,Goto RSA1-> source system,
    select ur source and right click and check.

  • Slow boot time after system update

    Hello
    I had a system update a couple of days ago and since then I've noticed a slower boot time and my toolbar/applications hang for a while. It never used to do this before the update.
    Any ideas?
    I'm on a Macbook Pro OS X 10.6.8.

    Download the free OnyX for OS X over at MacUpdate.com and run all the initial checks, (stop, backup and report if there is a warning) mainatinance and cleaning aspects (keep the log files) and reboot at the end (must)

  • T43p Running System Update results in popup to install "Warbirds classic"???

    Since running System Updates beginning in late March '09, during the downloading of any updates, sudden there appears a popup screen requesting that I OK the installation of something called "Warbirds Classic" or "Classic Warbirds".  I have absolutely NO interest in any such application or software as is being fiosted upon me with this popup message, and therefore I take whatever steps are needed to deny, refuse and stop or reverse the attempted installation of said "Warbirds" junk.  This then results in the failure of the Lenovo System Update to run satisfactorily and complete the Updates for my T43p laptop that Lenovo is suggesting and recomending that I install into my T43p to keep it current and updated.  Each and every time I run Lenovo's System Update I am hit with this "Warbirds Classic" popup "to install" message crap; causing the failure of my ability to update the laptop via the System Update website when I refuse to accept or install the "Warbirds Classic" crap..  This is the ONLY case or instance where I am seeing this problem, all the other update websites I use to update my laptop from other software provider's websites DO NOT exhibit this problem and the updates are successful. 
    Question: Is this "Warbirds" junk  just spam, a vidrus/trojan or some kind of joke coming out of Lenovo to sell us somthing?    This problem is NOT allowing me to update various drivers and ThinlPad applications on my laptop,  My research on the web suggests that the "Warbirds Classic" is somekind of on line gaming stuff...of which I have absolutely NO interest in.
    How do I get rid of the problem described above, and get the Lenovo System Update functioning correctly as it once did prior to the appearance of this problem?  Various virus and spybot scanners do not seem to detect this "Warbirds" thing as being installed on my system in any location or form that can be removed.  Even when I re-imaged the system onto a new hard disk the above described problem suddenly showed up after several update sessions on the Lenovo System Update's website while updating the fresh and "cleanly' imaged TP43 operating system.
    Lenovo was and IS ABSOLUTELY NO help what-so-ever regarding this issue...nor did they show the least regard for, or any interest in the fact that was causing the problem as described above. ( they WILL however be most happy to take considerble sums of money from your pocketbook to let you attempt to tell them about it.)  Hopefully someone on this forum will have also experienced the problem and/or have good insight into what this problem is and how to effectively remedy it.

    This is the first time I've heard of TVSU trying to install something other than updates. TVSU runs via dotnet framework and doesn't use popups. 
    One thing to try is to uninstall TVSU,  and manually delete the folder "system update" in the Lenovo or Thinkvantage folder, then download a new build of TVSU.

    T61 - XP Pro SP3 - running OK until recently! ......Now, cannot System Update my T61 due to this ***** error. I've read as much as there is on the forum and other pages and cannot [as yet] make out if there is an actual fix. Any claims...? Lenovo....?
    Incidently, having issues with Windows Updates too.... cannot install SQL 2005 SP2/3 due to '0x663' error message does anybody know what this refers?  MS are less than informative ...

    Maybe do a search before starting a new thread.  This topic has been discussed in many threads.  But to give you hope, iOS 8.1 is coming in the next couple weeks and according to several developers who have the Beta version and even some publications who have access, 8.1 will indeed address Bluetooth Connectivity issues.

    System Preferences>Network, top of window>Locations>Edit Locations, little plus icon, give it a name.
    10.5.x/10.6.x/10.7.x instructions...
    System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
    The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
    Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
    For 10.5/10.6, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

    Click OK.
    Also, turn off IPv6:

    I've been able to fully automate System Update distribution using Group Policy. this works perfectly.
    I am now trying to achive the same functionality using scritps.
    the problem: I get quite a few prompts for "License Agreement" - not the "master" initial one, only a few for the different installs.
    here's my setup:
    1. a local server is the repository.
    2. I import a .reg file before installing "System Update" using an automated install.
    3. after a restart, a command runs on the local machine.

  • System Update Keeps Showing Same Update

    Hi,
    I just did a system recovery from the partition on a ThinkCentre MT-M 9636. The O/S is now back to its original condition. Before doing any MS updates, I updated the BIOS, downloaded the latest version of "System Update" from Lenovo, and have applied all the urgent/recommended updates. However, there's one update that keeps re-appearing as needing to be installed, even though it's already  been installed multiple times.
    It's "Rescue and Recovery Critical Patch for Windows Update (KB917422) - Version 1.00.0005". In fact, I think I manually downloaded & installed it from Lenovo before I even ran System Update.
    Any ideas why this is happening and how I can get around it? I want to make sure the machine has all the latest drivers/patches/etc. from Lenovo before I start the MS updates. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

    It sounds like the details which System Update has on that update which tells it when the update is already installed must be flawed.  You can manually confirm it is installed by checking the registry at this location:

    I had a "System Update" icon in Start > Programs > Lenovo.
    After I installed the update through System Update the icon is not there anymore.

    I uninstalled System Update and reinstalled it.
    This Start menu icon is now in the "Lenovo ThinkVantage" folder while all other ThinkVantage icons are in "ThinkVantage". This is a bug!

    I have resolved this issue with the apple chat support by going to the "purchases" tab in the app store - where there was a message that I had to accept updates for the apps that wouldn't update.  Once I did this, signing in for each of them, they all updated just fine.

    Hi, I think I saw a message "system update" in the notification bar a little while ago but I cleared this and when I check for updates in Settings it says that I have the latest system (Android 4.4). Is it just a case of waiting until it's made available by this method even though it's obviously out there for a lot of people?

    Lenovo has withdrawn the Lollipop update due to customer reports of usability issues.
    Several issues are being resolved before it will be released again in several weeks. There is no release date available at this time.
