Availablity check- Plant TAC is not defined

I created a sales order, since item was not available on the requested delivery date, it went to Availability check screen. On that screen when I Clicked "other plants" push button, it gave me the following error.
"Plant TAC is not defined".
However when I changed the plant on the sales order overview screen, I was able to  change the plant. The item got confirmed and hence only one schedule line. 
Why it gave the above error.

Yes, stock has been assigned to that plant.
In the sales document overview screen  when I change the plant at line item row, system allows me to do so and after that, when I clicked the "item availability icon" it takes me to the availability screen. Now again on the availability screen when I tried to change the plant to the first plant it gives me the same error.
I am able to   change the plant on the overview screen, but not on the availability screen.

    check the following
    Check your shipping conditions in sales order header shipping tab + loading group in material master + plant in sales order,
    verify the same in OVL2, whether its mainatined or not.
    1. Shipping condition maintain in Sold to party of ur customer master,
    2. Loading group should be maitained for perticular Sales area and plant in Material Master for Sales: General/Plant Data.
    3. Plant should be available in sales order
    IMG -> Logistics Execution -> Shipping -> Basic shipping functions -> Shipping point and Goos receiving point determination -> Assign Shipping Points.In that determine the storage location, loading group, plant, proposed shipping point and manual shipping point.
    Combination of Shipping Point Determination=
    Loading Group - (1-Material Master Record)
    Shipping COnditions (1- Sales doc type , 2- Customer Master Data - Sold to Party)
    Delivering Plant - (1-Customer Material Info record , 2- Customer Master Record & 3-material master record)
    If you have done Copy of existing Shipping Point & renamed it. Then all the shippig Point determination Combinations will be copied.
    If not, then you need to maintain manually in Shipping point determination customization

    I have a unique problem where iam getting the above error when sales order is created using incomplete log.
    I have checked all the settings related to Shipping point
    in OVL2  Shipping point are assigned,
    in OVL3 picking location is also assigned.
    I have been searching entire SDN and help.sap.com for the above error for last three days and post a new thread.

    First of all I am really happy that you have taken the trouble to find out a solution to your problem and since you were not able to get it, you had posted a new thread.  Of late, this is very rare people searching the forum b4 posting. 
    Coming to your problem, go to customer master Sales Area tab and see in Shipping tab, what Shipping Condition is maintained.  Ensure that the same is maintained in OVL2.
    Similarly, the same for Loading Group.  Normally, by oversight, people commit mistakes by maintaining differently which is not assigned in masters and this would have missed your attention.  For example, you would have assigned 01 in customer master and in OVL2, you would have maintained 03.
    Also, please ensure that in OVXC, you have assigned shipping point to your plant.

  • Sales from sales organization,0362 dist.chan. 02,plant OMNM are not defined

    Hey All,
    I'm facing an issue when creating an order and trying to input a material on it.
    I'm receiving the above error when I try to insert this material...the material is extended to that combination and also the customer I'm using is created for that sales area. (div. 09).
    Is there something else I should check?

    In- img-enterprise structure -assignment-sales and distribution
    Assign sales org and distribution channel to plant
    Here you have to check whether your plant OMNM is assigned to the combination of sales organization 0362 dist.chan 02 in the activity assign sales org and distribution channel to plant
    Also check whether the delivering plant is maintained in sales org data 1 of MMR
    Also some other important checks
    1.Check whether your customer and materials are created in the correct sales areas
    2.T code VOR1 common distribution channels
    3.T code VOR2 common divisions
    4.T code OVAO combine sales orgs
    5.T code OVAM combine distribution channels
    6.T code OVAN combine divisions
    7.T code OVAZ assign sales order types to sales areas
    After all these checks please log off from SAP for a minute and the relog and test with a fresh order

    You have two options to check:
    Option---1:  You defined your plant ( in t.code:OX10) and if then copy from existing plant(ex. 0001 0r 1000),check the plant not assigned to company code properly .Now assign  in  t.code OX18 and also check the table T001K after this configuration.
    Option---2: Use t-code: OMWD, check whether your new plant ( valuation area) is assigned to valuation grouping code . If not assign the same .
    Now try creating PO.

    I am trying to post a goods issue but having an error log.
    For plant 1200, material type Hawa is not defined in Table T134W.
    I checked table T134W (se16) - and material Hawa is assigned to plant 1200.
    However I checked T-code OMS2 and Val.area 1200 is NOT associated with HAWA.
    Is this the reason I am having this PGI error.
    If so - how do I assign Hawa to Val.area 1200

    The valuation area is plant that is 1200
    In t code OMS2 choose your material type HAWA and in the left hand side there will be a dialogue box of qty and value updation and if you click that then in the subsequent screen which is opening you need to tell that HAWA at plant 1200 will have vaue and qty updation (need to tick both of them)
    That is the cause for this error

    Hi,
    Getting the error message:  06806 - Procurement w/o material from vendor with plant assignment not defined
    while creating the PR with account assingment (P- project) & without material no. instead entering the short text in the PR.
    this issue (Error message) is getting to only one user.
    question-1:  Is it possible to set the Error messages to the user specific. Because other users are able to create the PR with the above inputs, but the one user is not able to create instead getting the above E- Msg.
    question-2: Is it possible to set the messages to Plant specific instead quesiton -1 or both
    Or else, please let me know how to deactivate the above E-msg to the specific user.

    As you noticed, note 856962 has changed the system behaviour
    when you are working with procurement w/o material from vendor with
    plant assignment.
    Items without a material master record can only be ordered from vendors
    without a plant assignment.
    This note will stop your users from creating service purchase orders
    for a vendor who has a Plant assigned in the vendor master, issuing
    the error message 06 806.

    If not  Check the Sales Order also (VA02)  supplying plant & shipping point assigned or Not.

    I am doing initial load in demo system. While doing Material transfer I am facing Product is not defined in supplying plant issue.
    Though I am transferring master data 1st time to the plants, how can i extend product to the supplying plant first.

    Hi Bala.
    Are you using special procurement key for Production in Another Plant? If yes, perhaps you can try to send first the material at production plant and only then send it at planning plant to APO. I've never had this issue, so this is just an idea/educated guess.

      Hi Itzell T,
          While creating the material the unit of measurement which is entered is not existing in the SAP System. The unit of measurement entered during creation of material is cross checked from enteries of check table T006.
          So, functional consultant should take care of this issue just let him know the message.
       He know what problem actually is and fix the problem as Ankur had said.

    T code OMS2
    choose your material type FERT and click on to qty and value updation
    In the screen which is subsequently opening select your plant and tick for qty and value updation
    After this log off for about 30 seconds and the relog and put the delivery in change mode VL02 and then do PGI
    This hopefully solve your error

    We use a Third-Party Vendor to direct-ship some products directly to our Customers.
    When transfers third party order form's PR STO PO, prompts the following information
    Third-party not defined in the case of vendor with plant assignment
    Message no. 06769
    Diagnosis
    You are entering a purchase transaction involving a vendor to whom a plant has been assigned. Normally, this will involve the transfer of materials from one plant to another.
    This process necessitates a delivery and a billing document in the SD system. The PO appears directly in the delivery due list of the issuing plant (vendor) and therefore does not need to be transmitted.
    However, an item with the procurement form "third-party" (triangular business deal) cannot appear in the delivery due list.
    Procedure
    An item with the procurement form "third-party" can only be ordered from vendors without a plant assignment.
    how should solve?

    Why u doing stock transfer order,in third party sales there is no stock transfer
    Follow below procees for third party sales( Vendor ship materials directly to customer)
    Create Sales order(Use item category TAS) >>> Purachase requisition(Automatically from order) >>> Purchase order >>> Vendor Invoice Verification >>> Invoice to customer

    ->  XK02 -> selecting "purchasing data" >Extras>Add.Purchasing data.

    I have also tried the same in my IDES system, its working fine and can you check the following steps,
    - Create a project in CMOD and Goto Enhancement assignments and assign "V45A0002".
    - Now click on the Components, You will have the FM "EXIT_SAPMV45A_002", navigate and goto the FM and You will find the Include "ZXVVAU04".
    - Create the Include and write you code to populate KUNNR based on the Import parameter and E_KUNNR is an Export parameter.
    The data declarations of the FM also available for the Include.
    If you still have the error in activating the Include, then goto FM and open up the Display Object List, right click on the FM and Activate.
