AVAYA IPOffice cannot dial a number through skype ...

Hello,
  I am trying to setup skype sip trunk into an AVAYA IPOffice 500 v2.
  I sucessfully configured the sip trunk and everything seems to be ok.
     [SIP user successfully registered at sip.skype.com]
  Problem is when I try to stablish outgoing call through the trunk, I get the following messages when tracing the call;

Could you please help?
Could you advice me about the ports to be opened etc to be sure of router/firewall configuration?

Sounds like a filter may be enabled. From in the Address Book, click the trackwheel, and go into Filter. Clear anything that's checked. If none of your contacts are associated with a filter, that's probably why you weren't seeing anything in the Address Book

    Is there any change in the works to restore the ability to call any number via Skype To Go, not just the 9 speed dial numbers?

    I'm assuming the site is not accessible in any other browser such as Firefox.
    To eliminate the possibility of their being an internal Network problem:
    Set up a new location in your System Preferences>Network panel. Once established, select "network port configuration" from the drop down menu. There, move Airport to the top of the list and deselect the other items.
    Then, go to the TCP panel and enter these codes in the DNS servers box:
    (separate lines) - 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
    Select "apply".
    Lastly, via the Finder, go to your Utilities folder and select "Terminal". Once the screen is open copy/paste lookupd -flushcache and press return. This clears out the DNS cache. Once done, quit Terminal.
    Restart Safari and try the site.

  • Cannot dial extension number

    Hey guys, 
    I've been trying to dial an extension number on an automated system but when I dial it does nothing, i get the tone, but nothing more. Does anyone know how to fix thi? I have iOS 8.1 and the latest version of skype, it's annoying because I'm wasting my credit on this.

    Same here.  I use Windows 8 64bit ans latest version of Skype.
    It is simply a waste of time and money.

  • Cannot dial a number by clicking on it within the ...

    If you're looking up a business or phone number in the web browser, find the number, move the cursor over the number and click the phone should dial the phone number.
    Instead when i click on any phone number i get this error message: "Internet telephone not available."
    Any ideas? 

    have you tried Bolt? (http://boltbrowser.com/home.html) I personally think it's a far better browser than the Native one.
    Other browsers you can choose from are Skyfire (http://www.skyfire.com), Opera Mini (http://www.opera.com/mini/download/), Mobile Firefox (http://mobilefirefox.com/)
    Aside from firefox, I've tried and still use all of them. each one has it's strenghts and weaknesses depending on what you want the browser to do.

  • Cannot dial a number from a text message, or copy and paste

    On my 9900 Bold I could press on a phone number in the text messages and the phone would dial. That function no longer works with the Z10. Can't even copy and paste a number from text messages to dial pad. Please help!

  • Cannot dial external number

    Hi
    I am unable to make external call to 1866 .. number using a particular externsion. Incomings are fine. I took the ccapi inout debugs and the disconnect cause value = 31. Ephone-dn has secondary number as well - not sure if this is causing the problem. Not sure where to start from!

  • E66 & mail for exchange - ocassionally cannot dial...

    Hello, I have a E66 and about 1100 contacts synced through Mail for exchange from Outlook 2007. The numbers contain space as digit separator, e.g. +420 611 258 369.
    It usually works o.k. for 1-2 weeks, but then I cannot dial any number either from dialed numbers list nor from the address book.I must restart the phone, and then it works - the same number that did not work 5 minutes ago. very strange
    Updating firmware nor mail for exchange did not helped. 
    Q1: anybody else experiencing this? 
    Q2: what are the "acceptable" digit separators for Nokia?
    Q3: any ideas - except for deleting digit separators?

    I too have the same problem, tried reinstalling MfE deleting & creating the profile again etc. No success. Can anyone help on this?

  • Skype - Issue in "click-to-call" through Skype fun...

    I would be most grateful to receive help with an issue I have encountered.
    I´m developing a web application where I give the user an option to call a phone number through Skype with a click on a button directly from the web application. This works fine for browsers on desktop, iPad and Android devices. But when the user clicks on the call button in iOS browsers (testet with latest Safari and Chrome) then Skype is opened, but the phone number is not dialled or transferred into Skype. I would be most thankful to receive help with this.  it will only open up Skype when the user clicks on the button. Do anyone have any idea to how I can solve this?

    Am faceing the same problem and sent email to Skype Support and waiting for the responce for "unresponcive plug".....

  • Skype dial in number shows busy, engaged

    I purchased a dial in number in Australia over 6 years ago. That worked fine, then I purchased another one and that just doesnt work. 
    Any ideas?
    On my skype profile it shows that I have the number, etc, and when I try to call it, its giving me the busy tone.

    Plain old Copper phone line or FIOS ?
    If it is FIOS you can go to your ONT and plug a phone directly into the test jack. If that phone works fine then you have issues with internal wiring. Could be a jack with some crossed pins or a damaged wire.

    I had the same problem like you.  I can hear from the speaker, and when doing a recording and play back via the speaker.  My iPhone 4 is out of warranty so I just got it fix at the small repair shop and cost me S$50.  The repair guy did the above test and comfirm it is faulty of a small component, total tiem taken to fix my iPhone is about 10mins..

    You received incorrect information from AT&T.  You can indeed access your voicemail without your iPhone.
    Call AT&T at (800) 331-0500 (assuming you're in the U.S.).  This is a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week number.  Ask them how to access your voicemail.  Normally, you would just do this by dialing your number from another phone, typing "*" once your voicemail recording starts, and entering your password.  You don't know your password, so it's probably the last four digits of your phone number or perhaps the seven - or ten-digit phone number.  Let the AT&T person tell you.

Names appeared on the screen of the phone,  but not on MMI screen. Cannot dial by searching  contact and name info while driving anymore.  Never had this problem with previous iPhones.  Is this an Apple issue or Audi issue?  Anyone with this problem? Help!

    NIGHTMARE Finally Ends, after nearly two weeks.
    After trying for over a week trying to get my replacement iPhone 4S to activate, I ended up driving 110+ miles to an Apple Store to get a second replacement, which had been specially shipped there for me.  Popped in the SIM card, went through the setup and I finally have an iPhone 4S that works, at least for the time being.
    Advice to others who find themselves in this situation:
         1)     If you get these messages (see original post), the phone is bad.  Demand a replacement.
         2)     If the AppleCare tech advises that the Apple Agreement Administration team is investigating, you'll be waiting for a week or more for them to complete it.  Demand a replacement immediately, don't let them put you off indefinitely.
    After the initial phone call documented in my original post, I was in daily contact, phone & e-mail, with the AppleCare tech trying to figure out the problem, and we tried everything, from forced restore's to switching SIM cards, conferencing w/ AT&T, etc.  It seems that this was a case of first impression to Apple, but if it wasn't, then the problem is not well documented or known by those who should know, and for that, the blame should be on Apple, not the AppleCare tech who worked tirelessly trying to figure out a solution--I'd send him a case of beer if I knew where to send it.

  • Port number from Skype to At&t?? Prior Success but...

    I do not understand and am frustrated. I recently acquired/purchased a second landline number since the process of porting out a number from skype to AT&T was completed at a prior time successfully (a year or two ago).
    I now am hindered in this process due to ATT saying they recently received a memo which disables them to proceed. Something about Skype's telecom partner no longer allowing international ports or something.
    I called Verizon and they said this was possible for them and they would go ahead with the process.. I do not want to switch providers for a number but would like clarity. Anyone knowledgeable with this process and current/new policy?? I purchased the number for this specific reason.

    Alright ... well, you may have lost your former number. You should have simply submitted your information to activate your iPhone and that act alone would have closed your Verizon account and transferred your number. So if you somehow believed you had to close your Verizon account before activating your iPhone then, in essence, you gave your phone number back to Verizon to release to a new Verizon customer.
    Which is probably why your getting the message that there is no number to transfer. My advice: Accept your fate, re-activate and take a new number.
    I say this because I transferred over from T-Mobile. In fact, I bought six iPhones all together (one for each of my employees) and they had accounts with different service providers (Sprint, Verizon, Metro, etc.). Two employees did as you did and we lost the numbers.
    For those we didn't lose - the only trouble we ran into was failing to insert the the account information exactly as it appeared on our billing statements. If it was all in caps and we went back and put re-input all in caps then the activation and number transferred. If we let off our suite number or if it was shown as # or STE then when we provided that just as it appeared on the statement, the transfer went through.

    Can an existing landline or mobile service number be transferred to Skype as my Skype Online number?

    It probably depends on which country you are based,  though normally you cannot port a phone number to Skype. There are USA companies which, for a monthly fee circa $10, allow you to park your landline number with them and they will foward calls to Skype.

    I'm helping my father-in-law with his Skype account. He'd had Unlimited calling to Croatia the expired, so I signed him up for Skype premium.
    Now he say he has a local number he calls from his landline, and then he can just dial any international number from there.
    I'm not seeing this funtionality under any of the features. I'm guessing he was referring to "Skpye to go", but he hasn't had to add any contacts phone numbers before, he can just call the local number and then dial any number he wishes. 
    He may have an old account he used to set up this feature, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what he's talking about?

    1. Why "Premium"? Does he want the Group Video facility?
    2. That is SkypeToGo.
    3. He doesn't need to add any #s. That is simply a convenience feature. He can dial to phones almost anywhere in the world using STG.

    I recommend that you always run the latest Skype version: Windows & Mac
