AVC not dropping traffic

Hello,
I've got a cisco WLC 2504 with the latest firmware. And created an AVC profile to drop Whatsapp and Facebook traffic.
I added this to the WLAN I configurerd, but the traffic doesn't get dropped with cell phones.
If I've a cell phone which has the apps (whatsapp and Facebook) installed, AVC wont drop te traffic.
It does drop the traffic if I use a browser to go to Facebook. Is this some kind of bugg?

Unfortunately you have to wait for the next release of software code (not sure when 8.0MR1 comes it will have the updated protocol pack),.
Even if it is a bug, without updating these AVC signatures, I do not think you can fix it. Here is the release not confirming this

SFR drops traffic when policy is out-of-date?

Hi,
We are evaluating a 5515X with FireSIGHT.
I am routing a few guest networks through the lab ASA but are experiencing some strangeness :)
Three times it has suddenly started dropping traffic, and I really can't pinpoint the reason..
The things that I have noticed when I get the warning from our support staff, is that there are policies out-of-date on the ASA. (See att. img policy_out-of-date.png). And the when I apply the policies the traffic starts again..
And when I look at the logs from the ASA the thing thats sticks out is the sudden spike of SYN Timeouts (See att. img syn_timouts.png).
I have "Inspect traffic during policy apply = Yes", and I have read that this could stop the traffic "when applying" the policy. But should that really block traffic when the policy is out-of-date?
Do you guys have any idea whats happening here, or noticed anything like this before?
Is there a log that shows why the policy gets out-of-date?

As far as getting the package in the repo updated as mentioned above it all depends on the maintainer for that particular package. What you can do to help is go to the homepage, search for the package and flag it as out of date. FYI this has already been done for mythtv.
To upgrade on your own the best way to do it is start from the same PKGBUILD that is used to build the official package through abs. You can find all the info you need on the wiki page.
Typically the PKGBUILDs in the AUR have some different functionality from the main version in the repo, and aren't usually what you are looking for if all you want is a version bump.
It is usually best to remove your installed version before using a version from AUR. Most AUR PKGBUILDs will have conflicts (and provides) for other versions of the same package and thus pacman will give an error when trying to install it. If you are just bumping the version of the same package you will not need to remove it first.
EDIT: You can use pacman -Rd to remove (and replace) a package if others depend on it.

I can't move photos from iPhoto to my secondary hard drive or to a burn folder. I have never had a problem with this before. This is something new.   They will not drop into either folder. Nothing happens.

I checked my secondary harddrive and there is plenty of memory.
I emptied my burn folder but the photos still will not drop into it.
I created a new burn folder, no luck with this either.
230 photos is the maximum size of the events I am trying to move from iPhoto to save elsewhere.
I have shut down and restarted my computer.   No change. The photos still will not drop out of iPhoto.
My Mac Computer Storage shows that I have 62.2GB free out of 249.2GB (movies, photos and contacts taking up the most space)
My Lacie External Harddrive (2TB capacity) shows that I have 1.79TB available. It shows that 207,729,520,640 bytes (207.73 GB on disk) are used.
I have never had this problem before. It is usually very easy to move my photos from iPhoto.
I am not a computer expert (I work in surgery so don't have a need for lots of computer knowledge) so please explain in simple terms.

YES Terence! Thank you. Exporting allowed me to move my photos from iPhoto into the Burn Folder on my desktop.   But that doesn't explain why I'm having to go that route now.   Have I done something (accidentally changed some setting) on my computer that will not allow me to just click and drag anymore?   I really liked the convenience of the click and drag option.
I don't have the time tonight to export and burn a lot of CD/DVDs. I'll try that tomorrow and make sure my photos are moving properly. I also need to export photos to my external hard drive to make sure that route is working.
Wouldn't you know that my Apple Care Plan runs out this Wednesday?! I need to make sure everything is working properly before that expires.

Apple Loops not dropping onto track area

I hope someone can help. I just upgraded to GB 11 and downloaded over a gig of apple loops. But whenever I drag a loop onto the blank track area it absolutely will not drop and creat the track as it is supposed to. I can demo all loops, and I can drag one over, but it "sticks" to my cursor and will not drop.
I have a MB Pro 2.4 GHz with 8GB ram, running OS X 10.6.8
Anybody know a possible solution to my problem?

Weird. The same thing just started happening to me, but the loop sticks to my cursor and won't drop. I have to force-quit GB for christ sake. As I write this I see the small title of the loop superimposed onto my Safari window. What a weird glitch.

Part of my iPad screen display does not show. It was not dropped and neither is the screen broken. I was advised to see the local service provider for a diagnosis.
I had finally managed to find time to find a local service provider last week (not easy) and was disappointed to be advised of Apple's policy of one for one exchange i.e. they wont repair and said that i would have to replace with a whole unit. As my unit is no longer under warranty, it meant that I had to pay for the full price of a new unit!
I might as well have paid for the latest new unit but since my unit is only 2 years old at most, it would be a great waste of money.
How can this be? Does this mean apple's product is inferior and do not last since warranty is only for one year?
I sincerely hope there is a favourable solution otherwse my money is flushed down the drain.

I was using my iPad last night, shut the power off and when I turned it on this morning 2/3 of the screen is not working. It looks like the pandalela picture. What is the answer to fix this; is this a screen issue or and electronics issues. Has anybody else experienced this?

Logging out does not drop me to console but a black screen

Recent pacman -Syu upgraded me to latest xorg-server and I have this problem: logging out does not drop me back to console but a black screen and after 30 seconds, a blinking cursor. Nothing works and I have to reboot. If I choose to reboot (instead of logout) I get the same result except that eventually the computer reboots. Using nv - no problems. Using simple nvidia (single screen) - no problem. (I have a monitor and tv-out setup). Problem remains whether I use xfce4 or fluxbox. And the ctrl-alt-backspace keyboard shortcut results in the same black screen. Xorg.0.log tells me nothing. Before the upgrade, no problem.
I usually use startx and I have ck-launch-session etc in my .xinitrc. I use the latest nvidia-96xx driver and have no other X problem. Everything works, including the tv-out.
This is a minor inconvenience really and I usually switch to a console and as root killall X if I need to log myself out for any reason. But if anyone as a clue as to why this is so, or suffers the same problem, do let me know. Thanks.

@ckristi - I don't use kdm. I startx from console when I want to go into X.
@madtux - I guess I will have to read up on kernel mode setting and KMS - I actually don't know what you are referring to although I have seen KMS refered to in this forum with reference to xorg. Any links? Do note no problems with nv and single monitor nvidia. Hopefully the cure is not worse than the disease.

I want to step through my Cocoa Objective-C code and I do not want to see the underlying assembly. When I hit step over, I want it to step to my next line of objective-C code, not to the next assembly language statement.
99+% of the time, I want to do high level debugging. Don't you?

I solved my own problem almost immediately after I posted it.
You use Debug>Toggle Disassembly Display.
It puts a check mark to drop into assembly, no check mark for no assembly (my choice) and a dash (NSMixedState) for both. It's obvious now.
Sometimes it can be vexing to find simple XCode features quickly.

Help with Dreamweaver CS5 spry menus. Menu is not dropping down in IE7.

We recently upgraded from GoLive CS3 to Dreamweaver CS5. Wow! This has been a big change for us. We are having trouble with a website that we are building, specifically the Spry Menu drop downs not appearing correctly in IE7 and older. While the dropdown menu appears in other browsers, it is not dropping down at all in IE7 and earlier versions. After researching this topic on many websites, including this forum, we are still unable to resolve our particular issue. We have tried many of the suggestions that are common to our problem, but have not found a solution as yet. Could someone please check out this page for us, and possibly give us some advise. We are working on Mac OSX. Thank you in advance for any suggestions you may offer.

When I added the following to the document

the menu items appeared albeit in the wrong position.
The reason for the hidden menu items is because #main_image had a position of relative, effectively creating a flow of its own rather than following the natural flow of the document.
Now for the postion of the submenu. If I add the following style rules to the document the submenu items are in the correct position

ul.MenuBarHorizontal a {text-align: center;}
In the first line I have reset the rule that you had changed to center align and in the second line (which is not in the original CSS) I have aligned the text in the anchor tag to align center.
The reason is that IE<8 behaves differently to other browsers when it comes to list items causing the nested list items (submenu) to align themselves to the center of the text of the parent list item.

Horizontal submenus not dropping down correctly in IE7

Hello, I am hoping somebody can help.
I have a vertical and a horizontal menu bar in my page - the vertical seems to be ok; but the horizontal menubar has submenus and they do not drop down correctly from the menu bar in IE7. They work fine in Firefox.
In my site for net newbies, this submenu is supposed to drop down from the main menu, not appear from the top of the browser.. any ideas?

How to alert user using BizTalk if a file is not dropped in a folder during a specified time using file adapter (or any other)

I have a requirement wher the client wants BizTalk to alert users somehow when a file is not received at specific time. I am using a FILE receive adapter, the requirement is, if the FILE adapter does not receive a file on time then BizTalk should alert the
users somehow. The client wants to use ESB toolkit to do this job.
does anybody have any idea ?

Have you customised the standard leave request workflow in the backend?
Standard leave approval workflow is one level one.
Check in the backend and look for the worklfow log and see what happened after 1st level approval has been done.
Go to SE38--->give program name as RPTARQDBVIEW and then give the personnel number and leave request date as input.
Press F8 and it will show the leave requests you have raised.
Then check the workflow log and let me know what happened over there.
Take help of workflow consultant if you need.

My bookmarks bar and toolbar do not drop down when Safari is in full-screen mode.

I just updated to Safari 5.1.5 this morning as well as OS 10.7.3 and when in full-screen mode, the bookmarks bar as well as the toolbar will not drop down. Once I escape then I can see them fine. I'm also having issues with dragging or dropping ANYTHING. A gost image of what I am trying to move shows, and will not go away unless I force quit Mail or Safari. Needless to say, what I ws attempting to drag and drop does not take effect.

Click the title bar one time. The gray area of the window at the very top of your screen in full screen mode.
Not sure what you mean by, "anything", when dragging and dropping. Right or control click the content. There may be an option for saving that data for you from the menu.

Can Drag But Not Drop

Hello. This is my first time posting. I have a problem I cannot solve. I was able to DRAG and DROP my iTunes songs in the order I wanted them. But cannot do so anymore. Something must have changed somewhere. I saw somewhere on another forum to sort by the first column on the left(song order number) , but I cannot find this anywhere.
Please help me as I love iTunes player but am getting ready to go back to windows media player. Thanks in advance for your help.

I do not have an iPod. I want to reorder the songs I downloaded to my hard drive to the order I want them.
I just made a new playlist and dropped these songs into it. They became out of the order that I had them in. Now THEY will not drop either. I am sick of iTunes. It is becoming more trouble than it is worth. I NEVER had this problem with Windows Media Player. At least it is dependable. I know my songs will stay in the order I put them.
I like to keep my songs all together by artist abd genre. All one Artist together plus the genre that the artist belongs. I had them placed in this order by making a new playlist and now that playlist will NOT let me rearrange these songs like I had them. I cannot DROP ANY SONG ON ANY PLAYLIST. Something is happening because at first I could arrange them and then they became mixed up and now I cannot drop them where I want them. I can drag but they go right back to the position they were in This IS ON A new playlist I just made.
